Restaurant Korfu in Fehmarn

We had a very good lunch. We had gyros with liver, fries, rice, lots of tzatziki, and a generous salad with dressing. We started with ouzo, and for dessert, we had two scoops of vanilla ice cream and a red schnapps on top. We were really satisfied and full.

We've been to Corfu several times since 1995, and it was our absolute favorite Greek restaurant. But this was the last time 😢 (Too bad). The salad had pre-made dressing, the fries were lukewarm, and the cream sauce had no flavor. The food arrived at the table in record time, but it was all just a quick tourist rip-off, and the waiter was NICE. It's a shame for Burg, another good restaurant down 😓

The people were very nice and the food was good. The atmosphere was, on the one hand, very nice (great wall design), but unfortunately also a bit cafeteria-like. This was due to the close proximity of the tables. This also made it loud and very hectic. Of course, this was only because it was full, and that speaks for itself.

Very tasty food. Great service, very large portions 😁, the leftovers had to be packed up, inexpensive and very tasty.

The price/performance ratio is okay. Unfortunately, nothing special or different from 90% of Greek restaurants. We felt like we were at a train station, with the noise level being very high and the staff rushing around, which unfortunately made for a less than pleasant dining experience. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it.

To be honest, I found the restaurant a bit disappointing. The food was okay (apart from the squashed lettuce leaves, the tough meat, the unsalted fries, and the run-of-the-mill salad dressing), but everything was simply overpriced. A bottle of water for €9 is outrageous in my opinion. The free schnapps before and after the meal didn't help matters. The prices for the other drinks are also high. The tables outside are very close together. The restrooms were okay, and so was the service. Still, I wouldn't eat there again.

We went for lunch today. The dishes were delicious and at a great price, and the two scoops of ice cream for dessert were simply perfect. The staff were attentive and friendly.

We've been coming here for almost 10 years now, but what we're offered now is pure greed: smaller portions, drink prices beyond good and evil, and mass processing. The salad hasn't improved in years, the meat tastes somehow the same, not to mention the sauces. No card payments possible in 2025. Is Fehrmarn, a tourist hotspot, really still up to date? We loved coming here, but here in the general hospitality industry on Fehmarn, we should think about prices that tourists will hopefully no longer accept. I also criticize the town of Fehmarn for somehow putting a stop to these excesses: parking fees, tourist taxes, beach fees, baskets, etc. – a bottomless pit. Once the tunnel is finished, Fehmarn will perhaps only be a transit country. Would it be better to go to Scandinavia?

Never again, not even in Burg, where there are hardly any options for dinner. First of all, no card payments are accepted, which is abysmal but typical of bad restaurants in the service desert of Germany. Then I went to a bank to get cash. I got a drink and a salad, and then nothing more. The owner spent the entire evening arguing unprofessionally in front of the guests. After an hour, the kitchen had already been cleaned, but I asked, and sure enough, food had been forgotten, and of course, there was nothing else to eat in the entire town.

The place was very busy when we arrived. We were very lucky to get a table. The food was very poorly presented and overcooked. I wouldn't recommend it at all! Not tasty at all...I've never been to such a bad Greek restaurant, sorry.

Very suitable for those with no knowledge of Greek cuisine. The excellent service unfortunately doesn't do much to enhance the sub-par dishes. However, the water is highly recommended – clear and pure. Unfortunately, there is no longer a trade supervisory authority in Schleswig-Holstein (!), because the notice "Cash only" can be found on the last page of the menu, top right, in a 1cm high and 2cm wide box. There is no indication either outside or inside the restaurant that payment is only by cash. Enjoy your meal

Highly recommended. Generous portions and very tasty gyro. I ordered the classic: Gyro Platter. Sensationally delicious. Fresh fries and fantastically flavorful gyro meat. My wife had lamb. She said it was also delicious. This place is highly recommended. A must on every visit to Fehmarn. We'll be happy to come back.

For us, it's been a must-visit for years when we're on Fehmarn, as we're always amazed by the delicious food. 🤤 It's often very crowded, so you need a bit of luck or a reserved table 😉 We highly recommend Korfu.

I was there with my mother and father for dinner. A cozy place with good food and good service that offered large ones. I think it's called Ouzo. However, we were a little surprised that they only take cash, which is quite unusual these days... There are ATMs right across the street, thank goodness. Maybe it would be good if it says more clearly for everyone who comes "CASH ONLY" (or maybe it was just us who missed it) We then went on to a cafe nearby, which also only takes cash.. This is how "cash is king" is

The restaurant is located on the partly busy main street (cobblestone) through the center of Burg. It can get quite noisy depending on the traffic! The service was good, and the food arrived quickly! The gyro and beef liver were good! The leg of lamb with white beans was a bit bland for me, but definitely edible! Unfortunately, I couldn't taste the garlic or rosemary!

Delicious food at reasonable prices. We eat here every time we're on Fehmarn.

We ate there today, and the food was amazing. The lovely young lady was very nice, but the head waiter was very unfriendly. There was an older lady behind us who needed a little help. He wasn't particularly nice to her either. It's a shame.

We were very disappointed. The ambiance wasn't nice, everything was very cramped, the staff unfriendly, the food was cold, and the fried pepperoni was inedible. A shame for the money spent. 💰

I don't even know how or where to begin. Let's just say this... MASS PROCESSING instead of QUALITY. The friendliness of the service staff also left a lot to be desired. We were really looking forward to this meal, but in retrospect, we're all home with stomachaches. The food (gyro) was cold, and the fried pepperoni was a pure oily mess. And what's not up to par these days is that you can only pay in cash, and that's for a tourist spot. In the end, we all chipped in and were able to pay for the whole thing 😉🤞🏼

Service was unfriendly, none of us could stand the Metaxa sauce; everything just tasted of garlic. The tzatziki was a disaster. All in all, unfortunately, not good.

generous portions for the price. the lamb was excellent. the meal included a salad plus a shot before and after. just note that the olives have stones. we arrived just before 18 on sunday and got a seat without a reservation, but after that the place gradually filled up. cash only.

We had to reschedule at short notice and immediately got a table for nine people at 7 p.m. The team there is super nice. The food was delicious; we had a variety of dishes, all of which were good. For vegetarians, the appetizer platter is highly recommended. Excellent value for money! We will definitely be back and can absolutely recommend Corfu!

We were there for lunch. We had the lunch menu M8. The staff was friendly and really quick. The food was, as always, absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it. Anyone traveling to Burg on Fehmarn should eat there.

Worst rip-off shop on Fehmarn. Horribly hectic service. No atmosphere at all... quick, quick, quick. Prices are ridiculous, and we're out even quicker!!!!

Simply a 10 out of 10 Super fast food and super friendly staff. We arrived a few minutes before opening, but it wasn't a problem at all. They served drinks right away, and the food was ready in 5 minutes. We had a gyro pita – very juicy meat and very large portions for a small price :)

I've been going to this restaurant for well over 20 years and was always satisfied. Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly over the years. While the service is usually decent, there are now some unfriendly employees, and it often feels like a rushed process. On top of that, the dining room is very noisy. What bothers me most, however, is the change in portion sizes: The plates have become smaller and smaller, as have the pieces of meat, salads, appetizers, etc. The dishes hardly fill you up anymore – and that was completely different from what I remember. It's a shame, because I've always appreciated this restaurant. Today, it seems as if it's all about making the most profit with the smallest possible portions. Instead of relying on regulars, they seem to be focusing primarily on tourism with a constantly changing clientele.

I've been a guest at this restaurant for over 30 years and have always enjoyed it. Unfortunately, today's visit was probably my last. While the food is still delicious, the portions have become significantly smaller, while the prices have risen significantly (lunch menu €10.00–€12.50). My dish (M3: Gyro with Liver) consisted of just two tablespoons of gyro and a tiny piece of liver (approx. 11 cm long, 2 cm wide, 4 mm thick). For this price, I think it's disappointing. Unfortunately, the value for money is no longer there.

Anyone looking for good Greek food should definitely check out Korfu. Everything is just right there, from the ambiance to, of course, the food! We look forward to going there every time because the quality is top-notch! We always enjoy coming back! :)

We ate there yesterday. The food was truly delicious and the meat well-seasoned. Unfortunately, the somewhat older waiter wasn't very friendly; he seemed rather distracted. I also found it very disappointing that the ketchup and mayonnaise came from mini packets; they weren't tasty and were much too small. The restaurant itself was very well decorated, and there was a toilet assistant in the restroom for families with small children.

Best Greek restaurant on Fehmarn, in my opinion. Super friendly staff. The food, no matter what, is always delicious and of consistent quality. The food always arrives very quickly after ordering. They also give you two small drinks on the house (on arrival and at the end) 😊 It doesn't get any better than this. See you again soon 😃

The food was incredibly delicious; we had the baked gyro and the pan-fried pork fillet. It came with a salad and fries. The portion was very generous, and we were full the entire evening. We popped in spontaneously for lunch, and the service impressed us! We were able to order right away, and the food was on the table in no time. We both had lamb gyros, fries, tzatziki, salad, ouzo, a small ice cream, and a liqueur to finish. And it only cost 12 euros per person! How that works out is beyond me! But as it is, it's an absolute recommendation!

Today, three of us and our dog spontaneously stopped by for dinner without a reservation. The food was as you'd expect from a Greek restaurant. Everything tasted good. The staff was friendly.

Too bad the ouzo platter (€18.50) doesn't even come with tzatziki. It has to be ordered and paid for separately. Lunch comes with two scoops of vanilla ice cream. If you don't like it, you can't swap it for chocolate. Eat it or get drunk.

Picked up 3 gyros today...unfortunately, the meat was dry, partially burnt. The rice was mushy and not what it usually is. For almost 50 euros, it was a total flop.

Well, we're used to something different from Greek restaurants. The staff is attentive and friendly. The appetizer plate was a joke...two different vegetables, cucumber, cabbage, a little dip, three pepperoni, and four pieces of bread. The schnitzel plate for the kids was okay. And I can't even get such a bad grill plate or gyro plate at the snack bar near our local market. Unfortunately, it doesn't blow me away, or our Greek restaurant is just too good.

There's no sign at the entrance either, so it's a complete no-go. Next up: I ordered a half portion of calamari for my son, which cost €12. The regular portion was €14, absolutely outrageous. We won't be visiting the restaurant again.

The food, when it arrived after a long wait, was good. However, the service was very rushed and not particularly attentive, and the staff near the food counter (the only free table) was extremely hectic. We would have imagined eating outside to be quieter and more pleasant.

Ate there for the first time on a recommendation. The staff was prompt and friendly. Drinks were brought quickly, and the "food" came fairly quickly as well. Everyone's taste is different. We were disappointed (with the gyro plate). This could be MUCH better. The meat was cut much too small and sometimes undercooked. We won't be back.

The service was excellent and fast, almost too fast for my wife 😉 The wait for the food took less than 15 minutes, everything 😋 was delicious and tasty, I can only recommend this restaurant... Anyone vacationing on Fehmarn should definitely not miss Korfu! Super delicious dishes and a wide selection of meat dishes. The grilled specialties are fantastic. The staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, they deducted two stars because you're in a confined space, both inside and outside. Also, after eating, you don't necessarily feel like you can stay seated any longer. You get the indirect impression that seats are needed. I would have preferred more peace and quiet here and also the feeling of being able to decide for myself when to leave the restaurant without this "pressure."

One thing you could perhaps criticize is that it's a bit cramped inside and card payments aren't currently accepted, which doesn't bother me personally as I prefer paying in cash. Dogs are allowed in, but they shouldn't be in the way of the waiter (we had a couple a few tables away who left their dog in the main course...). However, you should always reserve a table during the holiday season, or you'll have to wait a bit...

The mixed salad consists of a huge pile of lettuce, a thin slice of tomato, two olives, a thin slice of cucumber, a lot of onion, and a bit of canned tuna. If I were a rabbit, it would have tasted good. The service seems lackluster, prices don't match the quality, and card payments aren't accepted (not very customer-oriented). I can't recommend this restaurant at all. The guest is the paying object here, and no value is placed on providing a decent, pleasant experience.
