To be honest, I don't like being the spoilsport. In this case, however, and because it is almost the only option in St.Tönis to eat home-style, it has to be: I have been a guest at the restaurant three times in the past 9 months. We sat inside twice (October and November) and once outside on Marktstrasse in March 25. Apart from the fact that the noise in the interior is more than annoying and intrusive (which the owners can't do anything about), the food is actually a disgrace. What is boastfully and full-bodiedly advertised on the menu comes to the plate as partially finished product. “Grilled Mushrooms” appetizer with jarred mushrooms; Croquettes or sauces that most likely come from the metro, etc. None of this would be a problem if the prices weren't exorbitantly exorbitant for this quality. This is disrespectful to the people of St. Töniser and no comparison to the former tenants. The service is nice, but often very, very "flaky" and annoyed, which can still be perceived as nonchalant in the "Füchschen" in Düsseldorf, but not in a restaurant in St.Tönis. All in all: No recommendation.

My favorite place for sushi and other dishes for years. The staff is always very friendly. They also fulfill special requests. Very well-maintained and highly recommended. 👍

Not friendly and not tasty unfortunately.

We ate there for the first time! It is a very nicely decorated, clean restaurant, with a very friendly and attentive staff. The food is not cheap but worth the price because it was very tasty. That wasn't the last time we were there. Because if you want something special to eat, the table silver is suitable for it. I wish you continued success.

The person reading this review should note that the ownership of the Vesuvio restaurant changed a few months ago. The family business that previously operated this location for 30 years is no longer involved in this company. When reading the reviews, it is also recommended to concentrate on those from the last 9 months. As of today, February 22nd, 2025, the good reviews come largely from the time when the old owners carried out their business activities. btw: I have lived in Vorst for 35 years and know this restaurant. Today I ordered a pizza to pick up myself. It was a pizza mista (the topping consists of champions, salami, cooked ham and tuna). When I picked up the order, the staff put the pizza box on the therese. A strange, musty tuna smell was already noticeable here. At the first tasting it became apparent that something was wrong. The aroma of the tuna can be described as rancid, the smell strange. I would like to point out that this product wasn't necessarily spoiled, but it just smelled unusually negative. The cooked ham was in the oven for far too long. It was completely dried out (the slices were brown on the outside and completely bent, without any juice; therefore tough) and looked like cheap molded meat. I also tested the edge of the pizza. it seemed too hard to me. For this reason I returned the pizza after telephone consultation and asked for my money back. This process was completed without any problems. Conclusion: I only eat here when I'm about to starve.

Cozy, beautiful and delicious...it's a shame it's the end of the year...

I already know the owner of this restaurant from his time in Krefeld. Mr. Yeh Sen. is an extremely friendly man, as is his service team. The ambience is great, the food is excellent, there are more than enough parking spaces directly in front of the house, and the central location of the ORIENTAL GARDEN is also relatively good. My Taiwan Do athletes, like me, like to eat there regularly. Highly recommended, Shi Zhu Mario Frerker.

Unbeatable in terms of price/performance. Best salad in a restaurant in a long time, made with love and high quality ingredients. Plus the delicious foccacia. We try a new pizza every time we visit and so far they have all tasted great. Marc serves everything with humor and speed. The ambience is rather practical, but that's irrelevant given the delicious food. Definitely try it out, even in the delivery service.

Ambience zero. Cracks in the seats. Eating cold.Currywurst pan By pan I don't mean anything else: a small bowl with some sauce and cold sausage. Sausage wasn't really fried, it just seemed to have been cooked. My husband only had the sausage (tip ends). It wasn't even 300 grams of sausage. We were there for the first and last time.
