We order from Cento Lire regularly. Everything used to taste better. At least it wasn't as salty as it is now… The carbonala, pizza, and baked vegetables were all so salty that we couldn't finish them. I don't think it was like that before…

The restaurant is always great; I've been going there for years. I've never had anything to complain about. Whether it's pasta dishes, pizza, or salads, everything is top-notch, everything is fresh. Everything is very well prepared. I highly recommend anyone who lives nearby or is ever there to go there. Friendly staff, good prices, and you can really get a glimpse into the kitchen, which shows just how professional the place is.

We discovered this restaurant by chance. It's an excellent pizzeria that I HIGHLY recommend. We'll be back.

For us, the best pizzeria or Italian restaurant. Even though it's not in our town, we still drive there because there's nothing comparable for us! The pizzas are incredibly delicious, generously topped, and huge. We also find the service exceptionally good. There's always friendly and funny small talk, and the service is truly excellent. It's truly something special and almost unique these days, I think. Always worth a visit! Stay there for at least the next 30 years, and hopefully I'll still be able to come for pizza. 😜👍🏼

We visited as a family and enjoyed two delicious pizzas and a beautifully presented salad. The trip from Viersen was worth it, and we'll definitely be back the next time we want pizza. Two minor criticisms: the interior was extremely warm, even though the weather outside was pleasant. Air conditioning would be a great investment, and an extra €2.50 for seven olives is a bit steep! Otherwise, the prices were fair! The servers were very friendly and helpful.

We've usually been satisfied, but this time it was truly disappointing: The pizza dough wasn't cooked through at all, and we had to throw the pizzas away. Unfortunately, our call didn't provide a real solution. It's a shame, but we hope the quality improves soon – unfortunately, we won't be ordering from them again.

Best pizza in town! I go there regularly and can barely manage even the small pizza. It's super delicious, no matter what you choose. Plus, the friendly staff and reasonable prices. Definitely recommend it!

If you can order at 5:30 p.m., you can't say we don't open until 5 p.m. and then can't deliver at 5:30 p.m. Either the oven has to be hot by 5 p.m., or you only offer it from 6 p.m. onward... Pizza is otherwise delicious, but the shop is very cramped...

Whenever we don't feel like cooking, this is our first stop for pizza. Always delicious and good, which isn't the case everywhere. Although parking is limited, we've never had any problems.

Very good food and nice service

We ordered two pizzas from the restaurant and took them home. We're very disappointed. The toppings were carelessly placed, the crust was way too thick, and there was practically no cheese. The quality has deteriorated considerably. I didn't bother and drove back to complain. I'd actually lost my appetite. We'll buy pizza from a competitor in the future. It's a shame, as we've been long-time customers.

In December 2024 I was in this pizzeria for the first time - and it definitely wasn't the last time! I ate a truly exceptionally delicious pizza there, the likes of which I have never experienced before in this type and quality. The base, the freshness of the ingredients and the overall aroma were simply great. I would particularly like to highlight the consistently friendly staff. You can tell straight away that there is real passion here. A real family business – you can feel that from the first moment. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to leave a pizzeria not just full, but happy. 👌🍕

Unbeatable in terms of price/performance. Best salad in a restaurant in a long time, made with love and high quality ingredients. Plus the delicious foccacia. We try a new pizza every time we visit and so far they have all tasted great. Marc serves everything with humor and speed. The ambience is rather practical, but that's irrelevant given the delicious food. Definitely try it out, even in the delivery service.

Unfortunately all records were broken today and we had to wait 2 hours for our food. After 1.5 hours I called and was told that the order was currently being packed, unfortunately there was no apology. Last but not least, an extra ingredient was missing from a pizza. So far we have always had to wait at least 1 hour for our order and we know this. But 2 hours is too much. But the food was still, as always, very tasty.

Here you can get really tasty and plentiful food at absolutely fair prices, a real insider tip. The employees are all really friendly and in a good mood I've been there several times now and I'm still thrilled Went there again today on January 22nd and still had a friendly atmosphere and good food. The Pizzeria Cento Lire has been our favorite meeting place for delicious pizzas and dishes for one or two years. The pizzas are not only delicious, but also a real highlight for the palate. This is due to the impressive stone oven in the kitchen, which ensures the excellent quality of the pizzas. The diversity of the menu offers a wide selection of pizzas and pasta dishes and more. According to my colleagues, the pasta dishes are also excellent. We particularly liked the soft and hearty pizza rolls. A tiny disadvantage is that the edge of the pizzas is occasionally slightly burnt. Nevertheless, I highly recommend experiencing this culinary journey. Price/performance ratio is great. Unfortunately worse than expected. As soon as we came in we were looked at badly. We were looked at askance every 5 minutes and were often asked to be quiet even when whispering. The pizzas were okay, but the dough was very burnt and dry. A waiter kindly spent €1.50, but they were still a bit unfriendly. I had a Romana pizza and it was excellent. Very fluffy dough and very generous toppings. In most cases, the small pizza is enough to fill you up. The middle one can only be done with a huge appetite.

So the pizza rolls were first cream, good with cheese, bigger than my balls, the ham was crunchy and just A class, I took them home and wanted to drink them stoned on my couch, so I dipped a roll after the other with relish in the aioli, which tastes good after it was created, until I noticed that nothing was sticking to my roll anymore, why because the pot was empty, I looked down at my knees and saw the 4 dry, uneaten and unsoyed rolls which I now have to absorb dry, all in all I want to say, make a bigger pot of aioli, you cocks P.s. Ordered 4th time. Pizza, pasta and salad. The salad is great! The pasta also tasted really good and was of the same quality with every order. The pizza, on the other hand, was unfortunately not recommended. Too much coating and ALWAYS EXTREMELY burnt. A pizza can be dark in some places and develop great roasted aromas. But if almost the entire base is BLACK, including a large part of the edge, then the pizza is inedible. The worst thing is that the person who baked them gives them out like that. The dough itself tastes good and the ingredients for the topping are good too. But that's no use if the pizza dough is too thin in the middle, soggy and burnt with toppings. With all 4 DELIVERIES...a lot of money ended up in the trash.

Centro Lire's pizza is great. I've already tested many. I always find the staff to be very friendly. I usually have it delivered. From my point of view, the delivery service is also in the foreground and I give it priority. The guest room is divided into a main room, where the sales counter and open kitchen are also integrated. This is not particularly big and the seating is very tight. Because of that alone and because of the customers constantly walking to the counter from outside, there is no peace and quiet and, in my opinion, the feeling of a cozy atmosphere doesn't really arise. The second, quite small, side room is partitioned off. Here you sit a little quieter and therefore more comfortable. Anyone who picks up or has it delivered here has come to the right place and will receive great quality. A quick pizza on site is also fine. By the way, it gets very warm in the room in summer because there are hardly any ventilation options (only the exit door is open). What speaks in favor of the pizzeria is the unfortunately sometimes long waiting time. This is simply due to the fact that you can expect really good food and the pizzeria is very popular. Look forward to it, it's worth it! I've been ordering here for many years and ate at the pizzeria for the first time a few weeks ago. Of course I will continue to order here and eat there sometimes, because I know what I'm getting.

After placing my order, I was supposed to pick it up 30 minutes later. I left 5 minutes later and still had to wait 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the taste of the pizza was not at all convincing because the dough was far too thin for the amount of toppings and you couldn't eat the pizza like that. The topping was two thumbs thick, which was also not edible because the cheese wasn't cooked through and the pizza was dripping with fat. In addition, the dough for the pizza rolls was also very, very salty. Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly recently and it seems like people are cooking without any joy.

What can I say, since I ate Cento Lire's pizza for the first time, I haven't wanted any other pizza... Vi voglio bene!!! I have another suggestion for improvement, please offer 3 pizza rolls with your pasta dishes, your sauce is so delicious that you need bread to dip the sauce into.

The waiter was very disrespectful! There is no warm welcome, cheeky comments were made like: “Thanks for asking if you could sit down”! To be honest, there is no sign on the door that says “please wait” or anything like that. It's natural to go in and look for a table if you don't have a waiter who is interested in the guests and helpful. Standing around from the other end of the pizzeria and shouting “Hello” is not the most appropriate thing to do to guests when you have nothing to do anyway. Two people drove there from 25km away and 1 person drove there from 46km away. This is embarrassing, disrespectful behavior from a small business.

Overwhelmed waiter on a Saturday evening who, after waiting 30 minutes, responded to us with rude answers, even though we were fasting: “come early”, “it’s not my problem” As a customer, we had to listen to these statements today, November 30th, 2024. But after the waiter made us wait for over half an hour after repeated eye contact and confirmation that he was coming, I finally asked him as we walked past that we wanted to order. The answer we had to hear was that it still takes time. I then replied to him that we haven't eaten anything today, and the reply was a cheeky "come earlier". Since we were fasting and hadn't even drunk anything all day and we were finally allowed to drink something shortly after 7 p.m., I told him exactly that: "We're fasting today." Then comes the serious answer: “It’s not my problem”. When I answered this, I left the store straight away so that there was no discussion and, to be honest, I didn't want to disturb the other guests while they were eating. Not the first time there. Anyone who has ever been there knows that the food is delicious and the waiter there likes to joke. But today I was completely overwhelmed, unfriendly and very disrespectful. Honestly, what happened today was an absolute disgrace on his part and the last time we were there. At least asking us for drinks after sitting in the store for half an hour and telling him that we were fasting got the answer: "not my problem". Without words we are really very disappointed after such disrespectful behavior.

This was our first visit and now I'm wondering why I didn't discover this place sooner. Beautiful, inviting restaurant, a super, super nice and thoughtful person as a service person and the pizza, yes, it was really incredibly tasty. I can recommend the Margherita to everyone, simply unbeatable for the price. Ultimately I can only make one recommendation. The only thing that bothers me now is that I really didn't leave enough tip. However, this will be done better on the next visit, I promise ;).

The pizza had more edge 60% than the inside 40% and NO taste. In the Cabonara there were 7 stems of the herbs with about 10 to 12 cm in them. Conclusion There are NEVER AGAIN photos 😡

Super delicious food😍 we had a salad with a very tasty baguette as a side dish, sweet potato fries and a pizza. The food not only looks appetizing, but tastes fantastic. I haven't eaten such bad pizza in a long time. Peppers and onions completely raw. I and my daughter didn't like the salami at all. Despite the announced pickup time of 20 minutes, the pizza was only put into the oven after 25 minutes when it was picked up.

Wir haben heute Pizza vor Ort gegessen und vor ein paar Wochen 7 Familienpizzas für eine Geburtstagsfeier bestellt. Beide Male perfekt. Sehr leckerer lockerer Teig, reichlich belegt, super lecker! Vielen Dank! Wir kommen gerne wieder, nur würden wir das nächste Mal gerne woanders sitzen ;-)

Wir bestellen seit einigen Monaten regelmäßig hier & waren bisher immer zufrieden. Lieferzeit in Ordnung und immer wie telefonisch angegeben. Die Pizzen sind wirklich groß (Maxi) - davon essen wir zwei Tage. Genauso die Pasta. Bolognese frisch gekocht, ohne Sahne. Super :)

Moderate Auswahl von Speisen und Getränken, aber sowie Pizza (Typ dicker Rand, dünn in der Mitte, reichlich Belag, gute Größe) als auch Pasta (ordentliche Portionen) entsprechen genau meinem Geschmack. Der Tafelwein wird ordentlich eingeschenkt! Die Gemütlichkeit im Sitzbereich leidet etwas unter den hin und her flitzenden Lieferboten. Der Service ist klasse, etwas rustikal (genau meine Wellenlänge), aber aufmerksam und flott. Der Knaller sind die Preise. Im Schnitt drei leckere Gerichte plus sechs Getränke für 45,-€, wo gibt es denn sowas noch? Daumen hoch, wir freuen uns, so ein Lokal in der Nachbarschaft zu haben!

Hm, es war einmal sooo eine gute Pizzeria....damals... Heute besteht die Pizza mehr aus Rand als aus Belag, ist mehr Brötchen mit was drauf als alles andere und geschmacklich einfach matschiger durchschnitt...
