The ambiance looks very nice, but the side salad was very meager. I would have liked a cucumber, tomato, and carrot, but it was just a few lettuce leaves with onions. The steak was very good 👍🏼
Disappointing visit – unfortunately not recommended
We ate at this restaurant last week and were unfortunately disappointed overall. Our evening began with us being accommodated in a tent at the entrance - that was fine at first. But even the menu didn't make a good impression: it was very worn out and left the impression of a typical tourist mass processing.
My wife ordered a fillet steak, which tasted OK. I, on the other hand, ordered the entrecôte with “fresh” vegetables – unfortunately a bitter disappointment. The supposedly fresh vegetable turned out to be frozen broccoli, which was also completely unseasoned. The meat itself was almost inedible – full of sinew and barely chewable. The quality was absolutely not appropriate for the price asked.
The extremely long waiting time was particularly annoying: a full 1.5 hours passed before our food was finally served. At least the waitress showed a lot of commitment and always tried to explain in a friendly manner that it was particularly busy that evening.
Despite the nice service, we unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant. The poor quality of the food and the inadequate price-performance ratio make a visit not worth it for us.
Amazing Turkish food and service. So delicious food with original tasting. We have an incredible tipical yogurt base drink and a super delicious lentil soup. The lamp kebab was incredible, and the chicken one was so tender and juicy. The bread is homemade at the moment in front of your eyes, always hot and perfect to share with different dips.
Exceptional service!!!
You miss Sam, the former owner. The taste is no longer what it used to be. Too much bread, too little meat and something special is somehow missing. In addition, the condition of the employees behind the counter is a catastrophe. Clothing such as shoes and tops are dirty. Unfortunately, that was it for me. Plus the prices are now outrageous!
UPDATE May 20, 2024: There is no longer any Mexican kebab here. A sucuk kebab has opened here! NO MORE MEXICAN DÖNER!!!
The chicken pieces are very tasty, but since the staff is rather busy with themselves, you have to wait a bit longer for your order and then you should also check, because something is often forgotten
Food really isn't anything special.
We had an antipasti starter platter, a hamburger and a stuffed minced steak, the quality of the ingredients was rather poor, the preparation was ok. The restaurant is aimed at tourists who want something quick to eat, but the quality is not particularly good given the relatively low prices for the location.
The only negative thing is that the Keller makes you feel like you've committed a crime if you don't eat your rice, for example. In my case, it's for health reasons, and unfortunately, the rice is so integrated into the dish that it's impossible to order it without it. This has happened twice now, and it's completely unacceptable. I pay for it, and whether I finish it or not is entirely up to me.
The atmosphere is cozy and the food is actually delicious. Well, with sushi, I prefer it when you can actually taste the vinegar, but that's a matter of opinion. Unfortunately, the Keller scared us away.
The shrimp pad thai was delicious. The fried rice came with fried chicken/regular chicken, but I got the regular one because there was an extra charge for the fried chicken. It wasn't salty and was good. The reviews weren't good, but I'm satisfied.
I come here often and eat inside or take food with me. Always a nice chat with Spyros Junior. The skewers are homemade. The gyros and fries are really delicious. Unfortunately, the quality of the tzatziki has declined considerably. It's been diluted with water or oil. I'll mention this next time. The prices are the same as at other snack bars in town. The advantage here is that you can pay with an EC card. See you next time…
Very average kebab shop. Skewer from the wholesaler, bread too and everything was very unspectacular.
I'm surprised that this location doesn't offer high-quality kebab. It's clear to me that the local rent must be a nightmare, but in the long term this concept should work because the Lindenthaler would definitely be willing to pay more for higher quality and become an expensive regular customer.
