KFC in Köln

Has steadily improved over the years. I really enjoy eating something here. But only if there are vouchers, otherwise the food is extremely expensive.

The seating area could benefit from a more welcoming design, but the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which made the experience pleasant. Unfortunately, the chips I received were lukewarm at best, which was disappointing. I admit I forgot to check the temperature before leaving, but this is a detail that takeaway establishments should prioritise to ensure customer satisfaction.

The service was pleasant and the toilets were clean. The product itself is simply the best. (Please take care of the cleanliness in the children's corner)

Been there today, then had a food lunch with vomiting etc. Recommend doing nothing.

We liked the chicken, Only minus was that the fries were cold. Service was alright but a little slow. The drinkstation wasn't very inviting and the drinks were absolutely watered down and cleanliness was in desperate need! Tables were downright dirty, washrooms were stinky and dirty, no paper towels, only a really dirty blow dryer and the stalls were disgusting and one door didn't even close.

It's just fast food. But if you like eating fried chicken, you'll get your money's worth here. Plus delicious sides such as the bacon cheese fries.

Forgot to add 12 Bites to a bucket order. How can you forget half your order? Not here again.

Unfortunately, the fast food restaurant has the charm of a train station waiting hall. We ordered food to go. We later discovered that there was less in the bag than what we ordered and paid for. The portions for the mashed potatoes and coleslaw were very manageable.

There are no dips and the fries are ice cold. Actually, they have never managed to complete an order. Five of them then took care of the order... pathetic!

Saturday night a complete zoo inside, wrong order. But mostly the garbage everywhere was stunning a recycle center would be jealous about it.

Tastes worse than other branches, takes longer and something is always missing.

This time everything was fresh because there were a lot of people in there. You had to wait about 10 minutes, but it was better that way than eating a piece of chicken that had already been kept warm for 120 minutes and of course tasted like warmed up socks

I like the food there. But when I order takeaway and when I get home I find that the waitress, who didn't even look at me or say hello, only packed half the chicken pieces, then I'm really upset. The service on 10/16/24 didn't deserve a single star!!!!!!

We ended up late from work and this was the only KFC open late, it saved our lives because we were very hungry. It's the only fast food restaurant I go to from time to time because I can see the chicken pieces and of course, also because of the flavor. I'm horrified! Completely uncoordinated, terminals don't work correctly, the drink dispensers are completely messed up and no employee feels compelled to clean them. Our order was left in the middle of being put together and only processed after about 10 minutes. Accordingly, everything is only lukewarm. Really not recommended...

Neither the burgers nor the fries nor the chicken bites tasted good. Everything was soggy and tasted like nothing. KFC already disappointed me in my hometown. I was hoping it would be different here. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. I won't visit KFC again for a long time.

I've always been really happy here but today I really don't see how you could do something so wrong. You order a crispy bucket and corn. You get a burger and corn. I thought it was stupid, but at least corn really has to be taken with humor. Then I bite the burger and spit it out because it's not even chicken. The fries are a complete disaster. In the end, drinks that you ordered and paid for at the kiosk are not available. Staff calls out the numbers but it's hard to understand. Otherwise clean and like every KFC.

**Hygiene issues and poor management - absolutely disappointing!** This evening I went to KFC in Cologne with my cousin to get something to eat. As soon as we entered the store it was difficult to find a clean place. Most of the tables were completely dirty, and the toilets also left a lot to be desired, which almost made me gag. However, after we finally found a reasonably clean table, things got even worse! While we were waiting for our food, a mouse suddenly ran through the store! I immediately went to staff and reported the incident. At first I was completely ignored, and it was only when I got a little louder that the other guests noticed what had happened. Finally, an employee reluctantly made a move and came into the store just to take a quick look and then just go back to work as if nothing had happened. As if that wasn't enough, the bucket we ordered was also poorly prepared! Parts of the chicken were undercooked and one looked really questionable. As we were leaving the store we saw a mouse trap right at the entrance in the corner next to the trash cans. Overall, I am beyond disappointed and will definitely not visit this location again. Hygiene and customer service urgently need to be improved!

Super dirty. The tables are sticky and there are leftover food and crumbs everywhere. You don't feel comfortable at all.

I've been struggling to buy something from a store like this for years...So I go in, go to the counter, want to order and then you're sent to a machine to order and then have to go back to the counter to pay.. ..seriously, what's the point of this shit? I drove back without buying anything. If I want to order from a vending machine, I go to the train station or buy online. Never again for me

Last night I was at the drive-thru. I ordered a Zinger Bürger menu. The worker gave me the bag, I didn't even check to see if anything was forgotten. When he arrived home, the citizen was missing. The most important thing in the menu. Please work more concentratedly. In addition, many workers speak very poor German.

In the restaurant it takes forever to be picked up at the counter. DriveThru seems to be preferred. The processing seems unstructured...I saw several orders that were not complete and then something had to be entered. There don't seem to be enough employees there...I was there outside of peak time on Monday at 3:30 p.m. Unfortunately, my chicken pieces were too dry and not of the usual quality. Leather upholstery spoiled. Not a good impression overall.

Update: nothing has improved, 1 car in the drive in in front of us, ordered, sent to the parking lot to wait when paying, hot wings should take 4 minutes. After 15 minutes I went into the store and all I heard was, "Oh yeah, I'll finish it quickly." Service was just terrible. After a total of 19 minutes we left the drive in. ||| We get food here so often, it always takes a long time, the queue is long, it's ok, you can live with it if it's quick after ordering. But having to wait 31 minutes in the parking lot after ordering is too long and it was almost cold. That should be improved.

Typical food for KFC. Unfortunately you can't seem to order fries without salt at the "kiosk". At least not found by 3 people. Ask the staff immediately after ordering. Of course it didn't work. I then ordered again. Waited almost 10 minutes until I got another chip with salt. Conversation with the employee (too much to write) was unsuccessful and the rest of my food was cold. There is no table service. Overall, the staff seemed overwhelmed, very unmotivated and uncoordinated.

Unfortunately, after complaining twice and explaining that they were unable to prepare the fries without salt. They became quite unfriendly and it took a long time. Hygiene toilet area was very nasty and smelly, according to the hygiene list, the last time it was cleaned was 4 1/2 hours before our visit.

KFC has a problem with the systemic processing of incoming orders. At McDonald's this process is much better designed. 35 minutes to put together a meal for a family of 4 is clearly too long. Orders from 1 to 2 people are repeatedly brought forward and the “large” orders are left behind. In the end you have to check everything and there is ALWAYS something missing. I had already had the same (bad) experience in Hanau. For this type of "service" the food from KFC is too expensive. KFC also does not offer table service. I'd rather go to McDonald's. The problems mentioned above do not exist there.

Friendly staff, food tastes very good

UPDATE: Revisited after a year and still disgusting. Everything from the chicken to the toilets is disgusting. How can you make chicken wings so bad? Just completely oily and half of all the wings are dark brown, hard and cold. They definitely stay there longer. The hot wings simply taste disgusting every time. Really inedible even after replacement. First they're just completely soaked and then they look like they've been left in the deep fryer for a few hours.

We just ordered via Uber Eats, it was delivered to us but some parts were missing. We ordered the Big Home Bundle for 4 people. At first everything seemed ok, but we noticed that there were fewer chicken crispies in the bucket than were ordered. There should be 8 Crispies in the bucket, among other items. But there were only 4 of them inside. We paid €50 for the entire order, so not that little money. We think it's cheeky that no one really pays attention to the order and they just hand it over without checking whether everything is correct. If I could, I would give 0 stars.

I visit KFC regularly and have always been satisfied, but my last visit was really disappointing. I ordered a menu via the app that, according to the restaurant staff, doesn't even exist. When I placed the order online again to make sure, it said again that it wasn't available. They refused to cancel my order and the worst thing was the behavior of the staff: they laughed at me and were extremely rude. I have never experienced such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior! Normally the staff here are always friendly, but this time it was really bad. I hope KFC takes care of things like this so that something like this doesn't happen again.

Today I had order number 307 and today I ate the worst burgers of my life. The bread was so hard you thought it had been in the cupboard for 2 years. Straw was thrown into my car when I dived in. Simply incredible.

The two of us used the drive-thru and ordered a bucket menu. At the payment window we were promised a timely delivery to the car. After about 15 minutes I went to the counter and based on the number already displayed, which corresponded to the receipt, the delivery should have already been made. After I was able to speak to an employee about it, the paper bag with our order was found inside other paper bags. The food was no longer completely fresh, the fries were already soggy. The team probably had a bad day and the employee apologized for the missed delivery. An offer for a refill for the drinks would have been better, after all, the fries should come to the customer fresh. I would like the team to have the opportunity to handle such errors in a more customer-friendly manner, but I am sure from positive experiences with KFC that this negative experience is very rare.

Burger was cold after waiting forever

Outrageously small burgers and totally overpriced

We were there on August 4th, 2024 after the reopening in the evening. Ordered at the drive in. So far everything is good. But.......waited almost 50 minutes for the order. Went in every now and then. The entire staff was completely overwhelmed. When our food finally came, half of it was missing. The salad for 8.90 is a joke. The leaves are partly wilted. The chicken not crispy. It was definitely the last time there for us.

If I could give negative stars it would be -5, poor service that gives out the orders incorrectly and is slow at that. Everything was very dirty even after a new opening. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE

Unfortunately the employees seem very unprofessional and uninterested. The hygiene in this branch is very bad. Mice run around freely despite the traps being set up and the employees don't seem to be interested in that at all. In the summer there are too many flies in the store, it would be unimaginable if they laid their eggs on food. At the moment the store is closed, I hope it's due to a mouse clearance.

So the food is just like at KFC, but I regularly get the wrong food here. Nowhere does this happen more often, regardless of the chain, than here at this KFC

Drink only received upon request. No fries with the chilli cheese. Didn't get any wings 😕... So sorry but then please hire people who can count to 1.
