The place is simply practical. If you want to eat quickly and taste good, here is the place. The service is good, they gave me half a cup of soup while I waited for my order. Recommended

Fries half raw... Chicken dry and raw You can save yourself the journey there....rarely have we eaten so badly...the staff barely understood us....

That was the worst experience when it came to eating in Cologne, the chicken was inedible because it was raw meat and the bones were still pink. We showed it to the boss there but he didn't show any insight, he didn't care. 60€ for 2 chickens with side dishes is really crazy. Never there again!!!!

Food is quite good, but portions are too small for the price.

We drove there for 45 minutes because we wanted to eat chicken, but no one could serve us properly. Ordered 2 whole chickens with 2 side dishes so 4 half chickens since they were cut. Chicken was raw and pink, discussed with boss showed no insight, he didn't care and had no arguments but wanted to discuss. One of the worst experiences in Cologne. Oh well, he wanted €64 from me with drinks. I was shocked. All 4 chickens raw and pink. Shop tables sticky. Freezing cold weather but windows doors completely open. Probably because of the chicken because it smelled. Please stay away from the store, trust me!!! Scam! 64€€€€€€!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I swear to you with everything that is sacred to me, the pictures have nothing to do with the store, it's all an illusion)

Unfortunately, the halloumi sandwich was almost inedible. Just green salad, with not so tasty pesto, hardly seasoned and then the halloumi, quite dry. But the service was very nice.

Good chicken. It only takes forever to get your food. You sometimes wait 20-30 for a sandwich to be prepared.

15€ for dry rice and chicken and a bit of salad? Especially when 30cm pizza is offered for €6.50 50 meters away. Eating also takes a long time. Definitely not recommended. There were 8 of us there and everyone was dissatisfied.

Food was quite ok. Prices for fries and sandwiches are okay. But €6 for 2 cans of Coke is unfortunately far too much and the price of the drinks is unfortunately not stated anywhere

Unfortunately I am very disappointed. The food looks better than it is. I ordered 2 skewers with 2 side dishes, i.e. fries and salad. 15 euros is already very steep. I also had a bag of mayo and a can of cola. These two things were charged an extra 3.50. Craziness! The salad was completely soaked in some vinegar-balsamic mixture, the fries were hard on the outside and just dry on the inside. The meat didn't taste like anything. 18.50 euros is a disgrace. Especially because there is no price list. Who expects that a small can of Coke costs 3.50? Wearing black gloves at work looks great. But if, like here, you wear them all the time, even when you leave the store, scratching your head, then it makes no sense. If you read the good reviews, the result is that the boss is very nice and dogs get water. That says little about the food

We were actually late, but we were kindly served anyway. Food was great and staff was very nice and patient.

It is a rather good grilled chicken, but it can be eaten cheaper in many places in Cologne with consistent quality. Unfortunately, the seller charged us for bread and sauces, which he served on his own initiative and some of which were not even used. This is very untypical and can be communicated in advance. Paying over €20 per person for half a chicken with some side dishes and the like is definitely too expensive. That's why we won't eat here again in the future.

All I can say is that the store is an excellent business. The products are of the highest quality and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the store is welcoming and pleasant, making eating a pleasant and delicious experience. I can definitely recommend the Hänschen store and am sure you will have a great experience there.

Finally different oriental food! Falafel Halumi Chicken, everything done in a refreshingly different way and very tasty! Chef is a gem and brought us a whole new dish because we forgot to say that my girl has a nut allergy... 5 stars from us for top service and very tasty food!

As a vegetarian, I can't rate the food, but I can rate the incredible friendliness. During the Galgo March (protest march against the unspeakable animal cruelty, especially by hunting dogs in Spain) yesterday, Saturday, several bowls of water were placed on the right and left of the street especially for the many dogs. A particularly nice gesture and not at all a given in this day and age. Thanks for that.

A very tasty alternative to the other snack offers on Severinstrasse. Pesto haloumi and the traditional falafel are highly recommended. The boss is very nice and focuses on quality 👌

The chicken was okay but way too salty!!! And I’m someone who loves her salt but this was extreme. Sides were fine although fries were too dry.

Great little spot if you're looking for a simple meal while you're out walking around town. I got the half chicken and rice. The portion I felt was appropriate and pretty tasty. It's a little hidden gem that can serve you all kinds of combinations of the two most classic foods..

Wir hatten ein hallomi Sandwich und ein Hähnchen Spieß Sandwich mit Pommes und selbstgemachter Knoblauchsauce 🤤🤤🤤. Absolut empfehlenswert, wir kommen wieder.

Mega leckeres Hähnchen, saftig, gut gewürzt und auch der Salat mit Minze passt hervorragend als frischer Kick dazu. Ich war jetzt zum zweiten Mal da, diesmal zur Abholung. Bin wie auch schon beim ersten Mal freundlich empfangen worden und wurde explizit nach Minze und Zwiebeln gefragt. Sehr cool! Weiter so Da der Laden sehr klein ist, man aber auch draußen sitzen kann, ist das Ambiente für mich persönlich auch wunderbar. 👍 Vielen Dank!

Habe hier ein halbes Hänchen mit Pommes und Salat gegessen. Pommes und Salat waren lecker, auch schön dass der Salat nicht so billig war, sondern schon gut mariniert, frische Petersilie etc. Das wichtigste, das Hänchen: Fleisch sehr saftig und lecker vom Geschmack. Nur die Haut war leider null knusprig. Dennoch war das Gesamtgericht zu gut, um nur 3 Sterne zu geben. Preis ist schon nicht wenig, kann nur hoffen, dass das Hänchen kein billigprodukt ist, das kann man nicht immer sagen. Geschmacklich auf jeden Fall gut

Man merkt wirklich, dass alles selbst gemacht ist. Alle Gewürze, die verwendet werden schmeckt man raus. Hähnchen ist überhaupt nicht trocken. Das hausgemachte Brot und der Knoblauchdip sind fantastisch. War das erste Mal da aber komme sehr gerne wieder, die sandwiches die ich gesehen habe von den anderen sahen auch toll aus :)

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen zu guten Preisen und dazu noch sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Ich hatte ein Hähnchenspießsandwich was sehr zu empfehlen war. Gut gewürzt und belegt. Wirklich in allen Belangen gelungen👍
