Kentucky Fried Chicken in Köln

Extremely slow, nonchalant staff. Had to give up on the order because my train was about to leave. Such a waste of time and money. If you do not have 30 minutes ahead don’t bother to stop at this “fast” food restaurant.

Very disappointing and absolutely unacceptable! We ordered two XXL meals and two burgers with strips at the KFC in Cologne Central Station. In the end, we didn't get what we paid for: • One burger was completely missing. • Instead of XXL meals, we were given the regular version. This is simply outrageous. It's not just about the money, but also about the spoiled atmosphere – we had to board the train disappointed afterward. An international company like KFC shouldn't allow this to happen. Never again at this location!

A very bad experience! The fried chicken is very fatty and tasteless, the finger-sucking original chicken is pitifully small, or simply a chicken breast full of bones. Most of the time, your number is still on the electronic display, but it doesn't update at all!! You just rely on the staff shouting. If you happen to be wearing headphones and can't hear them, you've hit the jackpot: they'll very rudely blame you. I'd rather choose McDonald's or Burger King at the train station, or just buy two sandwiches, than come here to add to the frustration of my travels!!!

I don't know if the monitor was broken or if the employees couldn't operate it. My number was in the "Preparing" section the whole time, so I waited patiently at my seat. Suddenly, however, an employee came over and shouted at me loudly in very broken German: "Why don't you pick it up?!" When I replied, "Why are you so angry?" and "It's obviously not my fault," I got no response. After a tiring day in Cologne, I was actually planning to treat myself with a visit to KFC – but this incident ruined all my anticipation. Thank you so much for this!

⸻ Yesterday I was in Cologne and ate there. Unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't meet my expectations. The chicken was very oily and served in a simple cardboard box. There was only a very small napkin. The Coke was served without a straw. The fries seemed hastily prepared, and some of the pieces weren't clean. Additionally, the restroom was out of order. The place was overall overcrowded and very cramped. I'm sorry to say this so bluntly, but it's my experience.

Opinions can differ on the quality, appearance, and taste of the food, as well as on the price and ambiance (our experience at KFC has been better so far). BUT what's absolutely unacceptable is that people with disabilities or in wheelchairs don't seem to be among the "desired customers." The order screens are very wheelchair-friendly and easy to use (the upper half of the screen is difficult to reach). In our case, we asked an employee for help. The employee simply asked, in a bored tone, what we wanted, saying all we had to do was type in pictures. Okay, we didn't let that deter us at first (everyone has a bad day sometimes). However, the employee clearly saw that someone was in a wheelchair and that we wanted to eat inside. We placed our order for "in-house," paid, and went to find a seat. We could barely get past the first table in our wheelchair, let alone reach the second table (built-in stools in the way). Okay, so we went back to the checkout/food counter and asked if there was a different area or path for wheelchair users, because the aisle wasn't wide enough. The employee's only comment was, "We know." Our food was then lovingly tossed into several smaller bags, which were then just as lovingly placed into a larger bag. We were speechless. The next joy came when we "unwrapped" our food: No forks for the salad!!!.... We think that says it all about this KFC branch...

Lady who was handing out the orders today was absolutely rude, she got an order from a lady before me wrong and didn't even apologise. Yelled at me for delaying to pick up my food, yet she was arguing with a customer prior, absolutely unacceptable!!!

Stopped by KFC at Cologne Main Station on a busy Friday – really impressed! The service was fast and the staff were friendly, even though it was quite crowded. My food was fresh and hot, just what I needed before catching my train. Great spot for a quick and tasty meal

I can't confirm the negative reviews in my case. The employee who served us was super friendly. The food was exactly as expected. The large order took less than 10 minutes and seemed to be freshly prepared. The only negative: the fries were under-salted, but that's just about acceptable. At a fast-food chain at a train station, you always have to expect a wait, as the crowds are usually quite large. It wasn't very busy in my case, so everything was fine.

Thanks to yesterday's shift manager for a fantastic meal. I'm allergic myself and have serious problems with food. I wanted to try the new Squid Game Burger, but because I couldn't adjust anything, it wasn't possible. The shift manager, Arfan Arshad, made it possible for me; it was simply fantastic. ♡ I was there only thanks to him, and I'll be back myself just because of him.

I had to wait at Köln Hbf due to train delays. KFC was one of the few options still available at 11pm. Service was quick. Food is about what you expect from a fast food chain. Prices are alright, especially compared to other ff chains. The automated terminals were not working.

Orders aren't processed correctly either via Uber or directly in the store. Something is always missing or incorrect. Besides, I've never seen such a disorganized KFC. It doesn't matter if the store is packed during rush hour or if you order alone, the problem of missing or incorrect items or employees ignoring questions remains.

I feel bad for even 1 star as it act has to get -100 stars. I was completely disappointed with the service along with the package. Every thing was a mess in the paper bag. We received our order extremely late and passed our train. There is an another one in front of the station. Pls go there. Those employees are horrible and not educated enough.

Vegetarian dishes generally take longer here because they're probably not ordered as often and are therefore freshly prepared. Otherwise, the staff was relatively quick and friendly in the evening – be sure to bring your receipt after paying, as it will be checked very briefly when you hand out your food.

The ambiance is relative, but it's also at the main station; it doesn't have to be perfectly beautiful, just practical and clean. What I really liked today (May 22, 2025) was the shift manager's reaction! Absolutely confident, competent, and customer-friendly. When I was very surprised by the portion size of the fries. Even though the employees there only follow guidelines, I was very surprised by this. Big fries for the price, absolutely overpriced!!!! But the manager really tried very hard to calm my stressful day, or rather, after work, and my hunger. I also come from a service background and have to say that the lady (unfortunately, I don't know her name) is an absolute asset to KFC. Rules are good, but humanity in the right place is perfect!

There are many bad KFCs, but this one is among my top 5 worst. The Double Crispy Burger was left in the warming rack for at least 2-3 hours... the bun was rock-hard and dried out. The staff is as friendly and service-oriented as a Belarusian border guard. The tables were probably last cleaned the day before. All in all, a special experience that no one needs.

I came to KFC and didn't have enough money. The staff were kind enough to let us take our order and pay with what we had. Other than that, the food is always fantastic.

On April 28th I bought a menu + 1 extra burger here before I started my trip. There was only a tiny piece of chicken on the chili cheese chicken burger that wouldn't even pass as a nugget. The bun was bone dry, as if the burger had been left in the warming area for far too long. Unfortunately the rest didn't taste good either. The chicken was dry, the burger was bland, the curly fries were soggy and not seasoned enough. And about €14 for that? Really doesn't work.

The hot wings are the best at this KFC. The newly introduced curly fries are also top-notch. I strongly recommend trying both the curly fries and hot wings. The service is quick, and the staff are very friendly.

Worst ever Kfc in my life. I ORDERD chicken Original 6 time and 2 times 3 Hot wings and received all the Hot wings and when I called the restaurant they said they packed all what we ordered "which is false". I am an Indian and I understand what they talked about us as we know the language hope KFC will takr action against it. Not at all datisfied with the service and behaviour of the employees of KFC.

Food was freshly prepared within a few minutes and also delicious. No matter what time I go there, the food is fresh. What the shop can't do is the fries. They really don't taste like anything, unfortunately. But the mashed potatoes and the gravy sauce are great.

My girlfriend and I ordered 2 menus late yesterday evening before the return trip, which were supposed to include coleslaw salad. Both salads were missing, even though we had already paid for everything. The twister potatoes were soggy and had more breading and fat than meat on the chicken legs or wings. So the whole package was very disappointing. We were so hungry for it.

In a mixed bucket you only get 2 instead of 3 hot wings. Doesn't it hurt when you're too stupid for even the simplest job and can't count to 3?

But overall I think the restaurant is great as an opportunity to eat something warm! ... of course sometimes (people) make mistakes, something is missing. But you can always catch up. So... keep going! Only thing...happened several times at despot. There are 20 orders in progress (which is not true) only the current show would be full of stars!

Ordered food via Uber Eats. Delivery was quick. However, the size of the chicken pieces was really an absolute joke for this price. Can't be beaten in terms of ridiculousness. This is maximum exploitation of the customer. That was the first and definitely last order!

I visited the KFC restaurant at Cologne Railway Station around 10 PM. The place wasn’t crowded, and the food was served hot, which I appreciated. However, I found it to be quite oily. One advantage of this location is that they accept KFC coupons, unlike the outlet in the main hall. It’s convenient to have a KFC inside the station, especially since it stays open until midnight. I’m writing this review at the request of the manager. While the experience was decent overall, I’m giving it three stars because of the excessive oiliness of the food. Also, keep in mind that this location doesn’t have restrooms.

No KFC for years. I was so happy and I ordered as a menu and didn't get a drink. When I asked the operator replied your number please. (Invoice-receipt) I said you took that away from me. He replied NO! I haven't* I'll answer it* what? He then goes back and forth 3 times then I advised him to look in the trash can. because they always throw things in there. Found 2 minutes later! in the trash can. He gave me my drink but looked at me stupidly and didn't apologize. No problem, you will never see me here again. And there was only one guest behind me...
