AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! Literally got food poisoning from this KFC which cost me an additional night in a hotel as I couldn't travel due to throwing up for 24hrs and have "durchfall". Would never eat at this place ever again! It was the most hellish 24hrs my body has gone through!

We were hungry and thought we'd go to KFC, but when we got there the floor was dirty. We bought 10 crispy chickens with 2 spicy creams and a BBQ dip. When we got our order, we noticed they'd given us a different sauce, so I went to the register and said we'd received a different sauce. Then the woman's voice got louder and said we'd received BBQ sauce, but since I didn't want to argue with them, I just said okay. The food wasn't the best, but it was okay. However, I would recommend you don't go there.

On December 22, 2025, between approximately 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., I placed an order via Lieferando with the KFC branch at Cologne Central Station. Since the order status hadn't changed for over an hour, I called the branch to inquire about the current status and the estimated delivery time. Unfortunately, the phone call was extremely unprofessional. The employee reacted angrily, raised her voice, and essentially said something like, "How about a 'good afternoon' and 'goodbye' first?" The call was then ended without further explanation, even though we remained polite and professional. I find such behavior unacceptable and not customer-oriented. Because of this incident, I immediately canceled the order through Lieferando. I expect a company of this size to treat its customers with respect and professionalism—especially when there are legitimate inquiries about an ongoing order. Unbelievable behavior!

Avoid if possible. Limp fries, cramped seating. Got confronted by 2 homeless people and a drugged out woman at the front. Probably just a central train station thing though. If possible, go to the one at Rudolphplatz. Way nicer.

They wouldn't give us our food. We ordered it within a reasonable timeframe, in my opinion, but unfortunately it wasn't ready. I'm not blaming anyone for that, but we asked them to give us what was ready, and everything except one burger was. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible, so the staff decided we shouldn't get anything from our order at all. So stupid!

I ordered from them twice and found hair in my food both times.

This KFC branch was a complete disaster, especially the staff. They were playing with the food before handing it to customers, and you don't play with food. After 10 minutes, I asked about my order, and then I received a burger that had been ready for 10 minutes and was practically cold by then – inedible. When I saw that, I completely lost my appetite. I've never experienced anything like this at other branches.

When a Chrispy Cheese has to be prepared because none are ready, you expect it to be warm. This isn't the case once again. The meat is cold, the cheeseburger isn't melted. The bun is ice cold. Simply disgusting

So I'm not giving any stars here unless you can go negative... the tables haven't been cleaned in 127 years. Greasy, salty sauces, leftover food and not from an hour yesterday. The first burger was kept warm for about 2 hours, the bun is great for breadcrumbs, so cold. Yes, the meat is cold, the cheese is hard. Then I complained and I can hardly believe it because I get yelled at and in other languages ​​too. What do they say to me now? ..... yes, burger number 2 ... worse than the first. Completely cold, raw cheese. And as I said, worse than the first. We got our money back but were insulted in other languages.

Very disappointing and absolutely unacceptable! We ordered two XXL meals and two burgers with strips at the KFC in Cologne Central Station. In the end, we didn't get what we paid for: • One burger was completely missing. • Instead of XXL meals, we were given the regular version. This is simply outrageous. It's not just about the money, but also about the spoiled atmosphere – we had to board the train disappointed afterward. An international company like KFC shouldn't allow this to happen. Never again at this location!

A very bad experience! The fried chicken is very fatty and tasteless, the finger-sucking original chicken is pitifully small, or simply a chicken breast full of bones. Most of the time, your number is still on the electronic display, but it doesn't update at all!! You just rely on the staff shouting. If you happen to be wearing headphones and can't hear them, you've hit the jackpot: they'll very rudely blame you. I'd rather choose McDonald's or Burger King at the train station, or just buy two sandwiches, than come here to add to the frustration of my travels!!!

I don't know if the monitor was broken or if the employees couldn't operate it. My number was in the "Preparing" section the whole time, so I waited patiently at my seat. Suddenly, however, an employee came over and shouted at me loudly in very broken German: "Why don't you pick it up?!" When I replied, "Why are you so angry?" and "It's obviously not my fault," I got no response. After a tiring day in Cologne, I was actually planning to treat myself with a visit to KFC – but this incident ruined all my anticipation. Thank you so much for this!

⸻ Yesterday I was in Cologne and ate there. Unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't meet my expectations. The chicken was very oily and served in a simple cardboard box. There was only a very small napkin. The Coke was served without a straw. The fries seemed hastily prepared, and some of the pieces weren't clean. Additionally, the restroom was out of order. The place was overall overcrowded and very cramped. I'm sorry to say this so bluntly, but it's my experience.

Opinions can differ on the quality, appearance, and taste of the food, as well as on the price and ambiance (our experience at KFC has been better so far). BUT what's absolutely unacceptable is that people with disabilities or in wheelchairs don't seem to be among the "desired customers." The order screens are very wheelchair-friendly and easy to use (the upper half of the screen is difficult to reach). In our case, we asked an employee for help. The employee simply asked, in a bored tone, what we wanted, saying all we had to do was type in pictures. Okay, we didn't let that deter us at first (everyone has a bad day sometimes). However, the employee clearly saw that someone was in a wheelchair and that we wanted to eat inside. We placed our order for "in-house," paid, and went to find a seat. We could barely get past the first table in our wheelchair, let alone reach the second table (built-in stools in the way). Okay, so we went back to the checkout/food counter and asked if there was a different area or path for wheelchair users, because the aisle wasn't wide enough. The employee's only comment was, "We know." Our food was then lovingly tossed into several smaller bags, which were then just as lovingly placed into a larger bag. We were speechless. The next joy came when we "unwrapped" our food: No forks for the salad!!!.... We think that says it all about this KFC branch...

Lady who was handing out the orders today was absolutely rude, she got an order from a lady before me wrong and didn't even apologise. Yelled at me for delaying to pick up my food, yet she was arguing with a customer prior, absolutely unacceptable!!!

Stopped by KFC at Cologne Main Station on a busy Friday – really impressed! The service was fast and the staff were friendly, even though it was quite crowded. My food was fresh and hot, just what I needed before catching my train. Great spot for a quick and tasty meal

I can't confirm the negative reviews in my case. The employee who served us was super friendly. The food was exactly as expected. The large order took less than 10 minutes and seemed to be freshly prepared. The only negative: the fries were under-salted, but that's just about acceptable. At a fast-food chain at a train station, you always have to expect a wait, as the crowds are usually quite large. It wasn't very busy in my case, so everything was fine.

Thanks to yesterday's shift manager for a fantastic meal. I'm allergic myself and have serious problems with food. I wanted to try the new Squid Game Burger, but because I couldn't adjust anything, it wasn't possible. The shift manager, Arfan Arshad, made it possible for me; it was simply fantastic. ♡ I was there only thanks to him, and I'll be back myself just because of him.

The best KFC in Germany is a good place to negotiate. Employee Karan likes to listen to customers. No fries, but more wings.

I had to wait at Köln Hbf due to train delays. KFC was one of the few options still available at 11pm. Service was quick. Food is about what you expect from a fast food chain. Prices are alright, especially compared to other ff chains. The automated terminals were not working.

Orders aren't processed correctly either via Uber or directly in the store. Something is always missing or incorrect. Besides, I've never seen such a disorganized KFC. It doesn't matter if the store is packed during rush hour or if you order alone, the problem of missing or incorrect items or employees ignoring questions remains.

I feel bad for even 1 star as it act has to get -100 stars. I was completely disappointed with the service along with the package. Every thing was a mess in the paper bag. We received our order extremely late and passed our train. There is an another one in front of the station. Pls go there. Those employees are horrible and not educated enough.

Vegetarian dishes generally take longer here because they're probably not ordered as often and are therefore freshly prepared. Otherwise, the staff was relatively quick and friendly in the evening – be sure to bring your receipt after paying, as it will be checked very briefly when you hand out your food.
