Burger King in Köln

The two stars are only because the owner personally took charge of my complaint and refunded my money. I ordered two burgers with fries and a drink. Both burgers were cold, and the cheese wasn't even remotely melted. The shift manager (who was wearing a different t-shirt than the others) told me, "It doesn't melt," even though the cheese is specially made from processed cheese. Anyway, I returned the burgers and received two "new" ones. Same story as before. I ate one because I was hungry. And by the time I got to the Big King, I was too annoyed to eat it cold. I was supposed to talk to the owner, who claimed both burgers had been freshly made, but I should have put some fries or something in the container. But apparently, this is normal here. It's a shame; for €10 for this "food," I at least expect hot burgers.

We ordered 4 menu items, the hamburger buns were ice cold, fresh from the box. Hamburgers are best eaten hot, not iced...

I really enjoy going to this Burger King branch. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly. The food is always hot and fresh.

My girlfriend and I parked in the Burger King parking lot in the evening and ate there. Shortly afterward, our car was gone without us seeing any indication of its disappearance. In the dark, with barely visible signage and a very isolated parking situation, the whole thing was extremely disconcerting. We then stood there in the rain, our car battery was almost dead, and it took us a long time to figure out what had happened. The combination of the remote location, the darkness, and the way the towing was handled was very stressful for us and gave the impression that procedures are anything but transparent for customers. The entire process seemed very unprofessional and left us with the impression that the focus is more on making a quick profit than on treating people fairly. For us, it was an extremely frustrating and stressful experience that urgently requires more transparency and a more professional approach.

Watch out here. We were eating dinner when our car was towed. The staff said they had nothing to do with it, and the towing service didn't seem interested. Either pay up or leave the car and file a complaint. Stay away from this place.

I'm always surprised by how friendly and efficient the service is. I only drink coffee, so I have the time to soak up the atmosphere. The accompaniments to the coffee are added according to my wishes: two milks and four sweeteners, now automatically. They notice that my dog ​​is waiting for me outside, and I'm served very quickly. I can't comment on the food itself, but it's nicely presented and smells pleasant. The atmosphere is calm, friendly, and overall pleasant, and the surroundings are very clean. The tray container never fills up because it's emptied so often. Unused trays are cleared away, and the tables are cleaned, even outside, where they pick up spills from the ground. Unfortunately, the price for a small coffee has increased from €1 to 169 cents in the last two weeks 🤭. This was to be expected, as the price was extremely low compared to other places and still in the lower price range for good quality.

I think the employee with short dark hair would be better suited to a facility for people with intellectual disabilities. Unfortunately, out of five items, we only received one that we actually ordered.

For the umpteenth time, the staff directed me to the self-service kiosk to order, even though I didn't want to. They preferred to chat about personal matters instead of acknowledging that there was a customer at the register. It's pathetic that the restaurant only wants to make money through the kiosk. Burger King will never see me again.

I ordered some food and parked here briefly – less than an hour later, my car was towed. When I asked for help, the staff treated me extremely rudely. Instead of help or at least an explanation, I was simply told to "call 911." Honestly, this kind of behavior is disrespectful and completely unacceptable. Being treated like this as a paying customer shows that service and friendliness are absolutely irrelevant here. I'll definitely never come back.

Hey. I left my bag and wallet in the restaurant. They kept it and gave it back to me after I called. All my money and documents were still there. With the words, "Everything's fine, you're here at Burger King." Love goes out. The people who work there are fantastic.

Unfortunately, the quality is consistently very mixed: dry buns and cold burgers. The next burger is again of decent quality. It's pure roulette, and the complaint rate is too high. The music in the restaurant itself is often very loud. Conversation is impossible.

At least there are free restrooms, hence the second star.

A horror shop, complete with a brazen towing service. A quick bite to eat and then headed over to the health food store. Less than 30 minutes later, the vehicle was supposed to be towed. €250 was paid in cash! That's how the shop makes money. Absolutely never again. 0/10 + sharing this info in my network.

I went to the counter and asked for a new, freshly prepared burger. The employee claimed the burger was fresh. I said, "Touch it, it's cold." His reply: "They're all like that." Then he took the burger and threw it in the trash without comment. I briefly went to tell my friend about it, and when I returned, an employee tried to bring me the new burger. But her colleague just said, "Leave it there, let her get it herself." The new burger? Cold again. Not only is the quality of the food abysmal, but the behavior of the employees is also an absolute disgrace. Never again.

I've been there a few times, and apart from a few strange characters, who were customers and not employees, everything was always good. Orders were always complete and in good condition. The store was never really dirty, and it was quickly cleaned up when guests left something behind.

I ordered chili cheese fries with extra sauce twice. Both orders had so few fries that you could see the bottom of the wrapper. The sauce also didn't match what I paid for. When I confronted the employee about it, he reacted aggressively, with a threatening look, and said it was the standard size. Never again at Burger King Ehrenfeld.

The staff is friendly but extremely sluggish. The food was okay. But the mozzarella patty, which cost a whopping €2, was rock-hard and fried beyond recognition. The restrooms are borderline unhygienic. The floor is shimmering with unidentifiable substances and is also sticky. When you handwash, you get a bit of a shower because of the splashing water from the faucet.

The food was okay, as was the service. One burger was initially cooked incorrectly, but we got a new one without any problems. The restrooms are a disgrace. Very dirty. It seems like they haven't been cleaned in a very long time.

Ordered through Lieferando, never again. They forgot a burger for €13.29. I reported it immediately, but no one got back to me. The order that arrived wasn't even lukewarm, the cheese wasn't melted at all, and it was as dry as a desert. I've never experienced such a bad Burger King experience. NEVER AGAIN.

I didn't find it as extreme as is often described here! The place was clean, the people behind the counter were a bit grumpy but still within reason. The burger was fresh and delicious. I had nothing to complain about. Maybe it depends on what time of day you go there!

I've been to Burger King several times before, but this visit was by far the worst. The branch was dirty - there were napkins and empty packaging everywhere and no one from the staff cared. The tables were sticky and the floor was full of crumbs. The food? Disaster. The burger was lukewarm and completely carelessly cobbled together, the bun was crushed, the salad was dry. The fries were soggy and definitely not fresh. I felt like everything was just thrown out quickly without even a hint of quality. The staff was unfriendly and visibly annoyed - no greeting, no friendliness, not even a “please” or “thank you”. Customer service? None. I don't expect star cuisine from fast food, but there should be a minimum of cleanliness, freshness and friendliness. For me that was definitely the last time. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. If I could I would give 0 stars!

In Cologne for work, was there in the evening - super nice service. Tables clean and employees in a good mood.. my food was good except for the whopper jr. Fresh and hot. So everything is great so far!

Selling normal burger as a Big king 🤷 They sell normal cheeseburger as a kings beef. Even when you go in and explain they are selling the wrong thing, show them the difference they tell you this is a kings beef. Yeah 15 euro for a 2 euro burger.. don't waste your time here, staff are completely incompetent and uncooperative when presented with an error. If this saves one person a depressed visit, I will be happy. So many good burger kings in cologne, go elsewhere!

Have It Your Way - but without the “Your Way”. Due to a sesame allergy, I wanted to order a cheeseburger on site, specifying that I would use a sesame-free bun instead of one with sesame. Apparently the employees in Ehrenfeld have never heard the term "Have It Your Way" because I was told by my colleagues and the manager that this was not possible and that I had to order a burger without a sasam roll (additional charge of €3). I can understand if the employees don't want to make any special requests (custom burgers), but simply exchanging 2 types of buns should at least be possible according to Burger King policies.

Dear Burger King team, every time I drive into the drive in Cologne Ehrenfeld, something is missing. I've probably already lost at least 200 euros simply because something is always missing and I don't feel like checking the bags for completeness. That's not my job. The orders were completely failed, any sauces were missing and the wrong drinks were delivered. When asked, we were told that this sauce was not available, but no alternative was offered. In addition, the staff was extremely unfriendly and completely ignored us. And during our visit we were not an isolated case who was treated like this. It is not recommended to visit under any circumstances.

You go in, order some food to eat there and get thrown out even though there are other people eating outside. If you briefly mention that you want to finish your burger inside, you are subjectively threatened with forcible removal from the restaurant. Even if the kitchen closes at 2 o'clock, there's no reason to treat customers like that!

Horror! Unfriendly staff and vomit in the restaurant. The employee probably didn't feel like serving guests and told everyone that orders only work at the terminal. It took me 5 minutes to try to redeem my coupon from the Burger King app in the terminal without success. When I complained, I was suddenly able to order and pay at the checkout. I had to wait almost 15 minutes for my burger and fries and it wasn't too crowded. When I got to the table, I noticed an acrid smell, I looked under the table and found vomit. It didn't look very fresh either, as no one thought it was necessary to wipe up the vomit in the restaurant. Then I implemented myself. After eating I had severe cramps and diarrhea. NEVER AGAIN!
