My visit to this McDonald's was unfortunately very disappointing. The staff were consistently extremely unfriendly, especially the manager, presumably the one in charge, wearing a green and orange vest. He barely speaks German and reacts very dismissively to any questions. The ice cream machine has supposedly been broken for over six months – every time I visit, I get the same excuse. Even classics like the apple turnover seem to be permanently unavailable. On top of that, sauces are frequently missing, and this time my order was even incomplete. Overall, I get the impression of poor organization, inadequate service, and little interest in customer satisfaction. A real shame.

I waited 40 minutes for my order at 11 PM when it was completely empty. The staff didn't communicate with me at all. The burger and nuggets were cold. The worst McDonald's I've ever been to... Someone should really check up on this place.

The young man who served us was lovely, and the nice young lady who took my tray was very kind. The rest could work on their posture, but thank you to the young lady and the friendly cashier – that's how you treat customers! 🙏 We could learn a thing or two from them! 😇

Just got my Lieferando order! The McRib was so drenched in sauce it was leaking out of the package! The Big Mac was pitifully small; where the McRib was swimming in sauce, the Big Mac was practically dry, and I could count the lettuce leaves on one hand! Both burgers were cold, and to top it all off, they were offering two chicken burgers for the price of one—well, what do you know, of course there was only one!

Unfriendly staff. Fries were cold and Fanta was warm. Thanks for the experience, and I'll never eat here again.

That was awful, sorry. First, I waited 20 minutes at the drive-thru. Then I ordered a McSmart Meal and a Royal Cheese. I got a lukewarm Coke, fries, and some kind of McPlant Nuggets. So far, so good—mistakes happen. I went inside, complained, and the employee was relatively friendly. The colleague who had to remake it seemed annoyed because there was no receipt. He also unfortunately "slapped" the burger together. I wanted to describe it properly, but I'm keeping my opinions to myself. Sorry, folks, I don't expect much. But selling these things at such high prices and then just throwing them in the bag with such care is unacceptable. It tasted terrible; I threw it straight in the bin. That was by far the worst burger I've ever been served. Oversalted, strangely seasoned, absolutely inedible! I don't want any contact, a voucher, or anything else. You'll never see me again. I think you should be ashamed of yourselves for selling something like this as food. Best of luck with everything.

Unfortunately, not everything offered in the regular product range is available (MCRib). That's annoying when you have to make a special trip just for that!

Hello, I went to McDonald's on Rolshover Street in Cologne with my son today. One of my worst experiences. You should be able to get two meals out of a fast-food restaurant relatively quickly, especially if it's not too busy. Negative impressions: - The employees were speaking their native language (probably Romanian; I'm not sure) at the checkout, and the customers were waiting for their food. - My burger sat on the tray for a very long time and eventually got cold. I didn't want to complain, as that would probably have delayed everything even more. - My son's curly fries were still in the fryer and were supposed to be brought to the table. When he had almost finished his burger, they still hadn't arrived. I politely asked at the register, and they rudely handed over the bag that was already there, and no one bothered to bring it. - I don't even want to start on the restrooms... Even one star is too much! But unfortunately, I have to click something! A very unpleasant experience, which means I won't be visiting this restaurant again. What a shame...

Absolutely awful... even for McDonald's. Four of us ordered and items were missing, the wait times for 11 am were a bad joke, and there was a hair on one of the burgers... you can't even tell anyone this.

I eat here regularly because I live practically next door, but they're constantly missing items. They also leave out the table stands, deliberately so the staff don't have to bring the food to the table. All but one of the terminals don't work, and that one poor thing runs like it's from the 90s. The staff are incredibly slow; sometimes it takes 20 minutes for a smart meal when there are, no joke, only three people in the restaurant. Orders are constantly missing, and it's not even clean. I'm serious; I advise everyone to avoid eating there.

For the umpteenth time, I've been told "we don't have it" or "it's broken." The store is dirty, and the staff is neither fast nor friendly. Only after the order was ready did I hear yet again, "it's out of stock." Unfortunately, I can only give this place one star – five would be better! This chain is dead to me. Not very tidy and not very clean. Many products were sold out. Very long wait. Loud music and something was constantly beeping. Everyone knows McDonald's. But this one isn't very pleasant. There are better ones of this kind.

You have to wait forever for your order to be accepted, until someone answers! The fact that both positions are unmanned shows that they're cutting back on staff. And paying €4 for a vanilla milkshake, which is more like liquid vanilla, is a disgrace!

Ordered a table reservation, but it wasn't carried out and instead we were given a whole list of McDonald's. The wrong burgers were in the wrong packaging. We arrived at 11:55 PM (opening hours were 12:59 AM). All the chairs were already taken. And the Coke tasted like it had been stale for three days. Never seen such a bad McDonald's.

Unfortunately, this McDonald's never disappoints. I've been there several times, never written a review, even though it was chaos every time – hence this. The McDonald's is always full, so you have to be prepared to wait, which isn't an issue. However, the staff is incompetent and sometimes extremely unfriendly. At the McDrive counter in the evening, there's usually a woman pulling a face and signaling that she's not interested. You have to wait at least 10 minutes every time at the McDrive, even if it's just for one burger! This keeps the line getting longer, as only three cars can pull over at the right at the same time. The burgers are often cold. When you order ice cream, the ice cream arrives first, followed 10 minutes later by the burger – the ice cream has melted in the meantime. Speaking of ice cream: 99% of the time, the machine is broken. How can that be? This McDonald's shouldn't serve ice cream, since they don't have any anyway due to an allegedly defective machine, over and over again for over a year? The McDonald's is located in a parking lot. Everything around McDonald's is always littered, and the inside isn't even optimally clean.

The most antisocial and rudest McDs I've ever seen! After an hour and a half of waiting at the McDrive, I was ignored at the counter even though my daughter's blood sugar had dropped significantly! Absolutely outrageous, and they're filing a complaint.

Absolutely ridiculous behavior (group orders for €79) came with fries and a burger. The Uber guy says I don't know anything. He bangs on the front door and just keeps yelling, "Please, please give me your PIN." I have to move on. And he leaves. They try to reach you, but nobody answers the phone. A rip-off!

I ordered food. First, it was canceled after ages, then I ordered again after a while, paying both times in advance. Then, suddenly, with the second order, they said it had already been delivered. With such quality and food, and especially at such prices, making such films is truly pathetic. I wouldn't recommend anyone ordering from there.

The food was really bad. The burger simply fell apart in my hands, the fries weren't fresh, and the Coke was almost completely deflated and tasted absolutely nothing. The place was terrible – very dirty everywhere, the floor was sticky, the walls filthy, completely unsanitary. No air conditioning, it was hot, stuffy, and smelly. Outside, there was sun and wasps, and the umbrellas barely provided any shade. We had to throw away all the food. On top of that, we waited a very long time for our order. Just awful.

We ordered takeaway food today, August 15, 2025, at 3:33 PM. Our order number is 185. It was barely busy, so we assume everything is running smoothly. Our order was processed by three people. Unfortunately, they forgot to include the large fries with my Big Tasty Bacon meal and a cheeseburger from the kids' McSmart meal. So we paid for food we didn't get. That's incredibly annoying! We paid almost €50 and didn't even get all of it. Normally, I would go there immediately and complain, but the kids were hungry and wanted to finally eat. By the way, you can't even use the restroom there without feeling like burning your shoes! That place really needs a clean!

The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. This applies to the tables, the restaurant, and the restrooms. Unfortunately, there were no cups for the coffee, only paper cups. I've seen this differently at other McCafes.

The way they treat the food is a disgrace. The food was delicious, but we tried the new burgers, but my burger had a single slice of bacon on it and the cheese was sitting next to the burger. We pay a lot of money for this, and then we get such crap... It's truly the worst. Never again at this restaurant. Even the lady we had just slammed the food into the bag.

Terrible location, men's toilet was dirty, women's toilet was clean, but the food was tasty!

What bothered me personally today was that many of the items I ordered and bought weren't in the giant bag. When I order a large takeout order, I don't check on the spot to make sure everything's in there, but rather rely on the employees to make sure everything's packed properly and honestly. But this is exactly what doesn't seem to be the case, as if they were to say: they won't notice that something's missing, and if they do, it'll be too late. Thanks for that!

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to!!!! Food was served incorrectly. When I complained, they just argued and didn't bring the right food. There were fries, burgers, and money on the floor in the kitchen aisles where you could see inside. Never experienced anything so unhygienic. We don't even want to talk about the employees and the shift manager. They don't admit their mistakes, despite providing proof via the Sparkasse app and the McDonald's app of what we ordered and paid for, we were accused of lying. The burgers arrived cold and without sauce, so you can't waste your money any better. I wouldn't be surprised if you're sitting on the toilet the next morning!!!!! Stay away

A branch with very poor management. Food is cold (more often than average) – especially with drive-thru orders – people rarely come back and complain. If you do, you get raised eyebrows and a shrug from the manager. When it's busy, you ALWAYS get the wrong order at the drive-thru. That's no fun!

Please take care of the restrooms. Otherwise, great for an MCS!

I had a Big Mac. The meat patties tasted of old grease, and the toppings like cheese, pickles, and tomatoes were carelessly slapped on. The chicken honey wrap was completely cold. In summary, the worst McDonald's I've ever been to.

Last time there was a huge waiting time and unfortunately the food was quite dry and shortly afterwards the stomach pains started.

Employees refuse to do table service. All number signs were removed on purpose. Furthermore, there are no milkshakes and the staff is very grumpy.

Employees fall asleep while working. Every time there is a line in the drive-thru or products not available. It has nothing to do with fast food, zero system. The employees urgently need training.

30 min waiting time for 2 hamburgers

In my opinion there is no good MC`Donalds there, for example in the large Minecraft menu they offer these figures with code and also sell it, but they don't have the figures in stock. Simply a rip off

The service was just terrible. I waited 30 minutes for my coffee, no one spoke to me. When I asked if it would be ready soon, I was told the coffee machine was broken. And whether I would like a normal coffee instead. Service – zero.

We ordered McCrispy Spicy, two fries, a Filet-o-Fish and the Plant Nuggets. The only thing that really tasted good was the Fanta. The McCrispy was anything but crispy - instead a limp, indefinable something. The fries had the consistency of boiled potatoes, and the nuggets were obviously warmed up, which you could taste. After eating we both felt sick, accompanied by stomach cramps and a lot of time on the toilet. I absolutely cannot recommend this store and will avoid it in the future.
