"I was very hungry and walked seven kilometers to get something to eat. When I arrived, the door was locked and the employees were still inside. I called them, and they said they were closing early today. But according to the app, they should be open until 6:00 PM. You must adhere to the official working hours.

Tuesday at 1 p.m. was surprisingly quiet, which was quite pleasant. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean, and the burger was fresh, hot, and delicious.

We went in on Friday and there was no one, no line. We bought something to eat at the table, but they gave us takeout because they didn't have the trays. The crispy burgers weren't that delicious.

Unfortunately there was no parking space and we were just passing through.

We wanted to quickly grab something to eat on Thursday, May 22nd. We knocked, the employee saw us, and simply turned away. Closing the store 20 minutes earlier and putting everything away was an absolute disgrace. What are opening hours for?

Mois recently purchased from Börgi King. He causes stress with customers and is extremely unfriendly. Mois thinks he owns the shop, he screams through the whole shop. He's not the main character.

I paid for a 500ml drink but because they ran out of 500ml cups I only got 400ml and no money back. This is my first time and my last time in this juice shop!

I stayed silent for a long time, but after countless bad experiences in this branch it is clear to me: enough is enough. The conditions at Burger King on Hohenzollernring are, to say the least, alarming - especially if you know the background. After the major hygiene scandal that Team Wallraff uncovered a few years ago, one would have expected Burger King to finally wake up. It seemed that way for a short time. But today it becomes clear that not much has been learned. The branch on Hohenzollernring is a prime example of how you can ignore hygiene, service and basic working standards. I'm not speaking as a layperson - I worked in a Burger King establishment myself. I know the hygiene guidelines, instructions, and the process. And that's exactly why I notice all the more what's going wrong here. The employees: mostly disinterested, unfriendly, sometimes unhygienic in their demeanor. Chewing gum is chewed openly – with your mouth open, of course. In between, parts of the body are scratched, the cell phone is pulled out, and shortly afterwards the food is prepared with the same hands. An employee - regularly on site, small, with glasses - consistently appears annoyed, unfocused and visibly distances herself from everything that has to do with customer friendliness or care. Even more worrying: Friends and acquaintances of employees enter the kitchen area freely, in everyday clothes, without washing their hands - and sometimes even use it there themselves. Nobody intervenes. Instead, people laugh and chat while customers wait in the dining room. The tables are regularly dirty and the staff is disinterested - despite there being minimal customer traffic during the week. There can no longer be any talk of “fast food” here – at least not when it comes to speed or efficiency. Even with two or three orders, the employees seem stressed, overwhelmed and without a plan. The attitude: “The main thing is to appear cool” - but what remains is a shocking lack of professionalism, hygiene and respect for the customer. My patience is exhausted. If the management really wants to change something, they should take a close look at this branch unannounced - or better yet: invite Team Wallraff again. There is now more than enough material that shows how little there is still control or management there. A franchise business cannot and should not be run like this - at least not if the brand still has any claim to quality and credibility.

Likeable people, super nice and very forthcoming

Unbelievable. As if there were just monkeys eating food and then simply leaving any rubbish that was generated lying around. It no longer has anything to do with civilization. It really shocked me that people can't even manage to dispose of their garbage for a short time anymore. The tables were stacked so full that you had to clear away loads of strangers' rubbish before you could sit down at a dirty table.

Food cold, no tablet for restaurant consumption, received bags and wrong drinks. Unfriendly. Getting worse and worse.

Staff do not wear gloves, touch ingredients with their bare hands and then operate touch screens again. Disgusting.

The most marginal burgerking that I saw, to begin with, not even a minimum of care in the kitchen, they don't use gloves or a hat, you can't see even a bit of hygiene, they charge you €1 for the bathroom and the ketchup too, being a chain it's embarrassing. They give you the order in a bag even if you ask to eat there, the employees without uniform...they all seem to be friends and they are calm as at home, terrible service, the food is the only thing that's good.

I've been waiting for 30 minutes now on March 7, 25 at 7:40 p.m. for my meal double cheeseburger menu, 1 person in front of me, the 2 employees are completely overwhelmed with 3 orders. The shop is empty. Well, I'll wait another 5 minutes and then I'll get the money back. During that time I could already see that 2/3 orders were returned because they were prepared incorrectly in the kitchen...

I wanted to redeem a coupon at Carnival, which wasn't possible. Reason: We do not accept coupons at carnival! Where is there something like that? Does the corporate headquarters know about this? The nuggets we ordered (and paid for) didn't come despite repeated requests, the vouchers were basically not redeemable, and there weren't even cheeseburgers, chickenburgers, etc.

Unfortunately the ordering stations didn't work. After each order was entered, the station aborted and wanted a restart. After several attempts at other stations, we ordered at the checkout, but there were no small menus. Strange even though we were able to select them beforehand...The tables weren't clean even though the shop wasn't full. Given the atmosphere, the food didn't taste good anymore...it's a shame The women's toilet could no longer be locked...

I've been visiting this branch for a while now and the absolutely disinterested, unmotivated and unfriendly appearance of the people working there no longer bothers me - but the lady from yesterday literally shot the bird. I had previously ordered a take-away menu for 17 euros and then spontaneously decided to order a small burger while I was waiting. At the checkout I ordered a "hamburger", but after a few seconds I wanted to exchange it for a cheeseburger. There was a MAXIMUM of 5 seconds between the order and the order correction!! I was then told in a very unfriendly tone that this was no longer possible! Please? I come from the catering industry myself and it's completely normal for a guest to make a mistake in their order or then want something different. She wanted to cold-bloodedly nail me to the hamburger, but I insisted on the exchange in the order. We are talking about an entry in the cash register system, not about a ready-made product that had to be exchanged afterwards and thus a loss of goods, but rather a simple entry in the order!! She then disappeared into the kitchen pissed off and then came back rolling her eyes and telling me in a very aggressive tone that you weren't allowed to cancel. She did this reluctantly and then came the roar: she said in a still aggressive tone that I should think first and then order and if I can't do that, I should order on the monitor!! I thought I wasn't hearing properly!! I then made it clear to her that such a tone was not at all okay - but that didn't interest her in the least. No apology or insight, instead she slapped my order into a paper bag, placed it on the counter without a word and then turned around. I find the audacity of blaming me, as a really friendly customer, violent. What can I do to ensure that Burgerking doesn't allow cancellations? This is how you are treated at Burgerking if you change your order within a period of about 5 seconds. If this nice lady had been employed by me, I would have thrown her out of the restaurant after something like that, because something like that is bad for business!! It was definitely my last time

Finally a Burger King that is clean and where you can also use the toilet. Everything else is standard.

They do no take part in usual actions, tokens and discounts do not work here. We've had the discounts in our post, but nobody cared at all.

Recently, shortly before going to the cinema: ordering from the machine: a disaster; constant restarts, etc. Then I wanted to pay cash and eat in the restaurant, although I and a customer in front of me were consistently ignored. Only after several attempts did an employee arrive, who then took the money in a bad mood. Waiting time 35 minutes in total. When I got the food, it was packed in a bag and when I asked the employee about it, he got soggy! The burger was completely soggy and dripping with grease; looked like it had been lying around for ages! The rest was also unbearable! Meanwhile, various other customers had already complained about the excessive waiting times! Conclusion: Lousy service, soggy food, long waiting times, unclean atmosphere… I have no idea how things are going in other cities, but in Cologne Burger King has now completely failed and is a complete disaster!!! The same applies to the one in Ehrenfeld and at Wiener Platz, in Mülheim!

The store doesn't work at all! All order terminals were out of service. Ordering was only possible at the checkout. The employee was very unfriendly. Even when we asked for napkins, which unfortunately were missing. The food was inedible and wasn't freshly prepared. The bread from the Whopper was dry and hard, like it had been warmed up again. The Whopper was mushy. This store is disgrace. We'll never go there again. The health department should take action here.

I am totally disappointed. I was in the restaurant on July 21st, 2024 and wanted to go to the toilet after eating something. The toilet attendant treated me badly; she touched me and insulted me. I think that's really a shame. I hope this won't happen again in the future.

Worst Burger King there is. Among other things, we ordered two Plant-Based(!) Whopper Jr., both of which were topped with beef patties instead of the vegan patties. The burgers were even wrapped in “plant-based” paper, absolutely ridiculous! You probably always have to open your burgers now instead of just checking to see if everything is there. New low... Regarding the rest of the quality of the food: fries limp, old, not very salty and sad. The vegan nuggets were okay.

All good but the inconvenience of a homeless man who entered wandering among the tables without being asked to leave the room due to his hygienic conditions was not a pleasant negative!!

All employees were exaggerated without a plan. The only cashier couldn't speak German. Order machines do not issue a receipt. It's always an experience here. Hard to beat when it comes to unfriendliness. Waited 10 minutes for food, it was cold. Fries not salted and the extra fried onions were on the wrong burger.

The worst Burger King ever: None of the order terminals work, nor do the app coupons. There isn't even an apology from the employees, just the cheeky answer that you can leave the store and go somewhere else eat, unbelievable... In addition, the toilet costs a euro even for customers, this shop definitely cannot be beaten in terms of audacity and in my opinion should simply be avoided.

The employees give incorrect change in the evening and then try to ban you from the house.

Don't pay with large bills. We tried to keep the money and give fewer bills of exchange. The ticket ended up directly in the cash register instead of waiting for the customer to confirm. We had two witnesses and only got the money back under protest after a loud argument with the staff.

Served food fast, not so hygiene, Child friendly area. Okay to visit

Meal was OK, service was OK until me and my wife used the toilet. We followed the sign for the toilet downstairs and there was a large man outside the toilet demanding i pay 1euro for a pee, I just ignored him and he was very rude and tried stopping me going back upstairs. When my wife came back upstairs she said the same and that she had push past him. I complained to the manager but he wasn't interested. I find this absolutely unacceptable and will never use Burger King again. How this practice is allowed to continue in a City centre Burger King is absolutely disgraceful, terrible!
