Latino Loco in Köln

We spontaneously decided to eat here. It's a bit confusing because there are two kebab shops right next to each other. There were no other customers, and the kebab plates were prepared quickly. You have to get your food yourself from the counter, find your own cutlery, and it's not really a restaurant in that sense, but more of a quick snack bar. The food itself was okay, rather unappealingly presented, and not particularly tasty. The restrooms are very dirty, and you have to rummage through the grimy cupboards for toilet paper yourself. Overall, it was acceptable, but we expect significantly more from a pleasant restaurant experience, especially since the prices are quite high. (August 2025)

The kebap meat was quite tender. Unfortunately, the staff didn't speak much English.

Doner tastes like nothing, pizza is burnt and service is so bad that you can just eat bread with nothing and it tastes better (if I could I could give -1 star)

It's right on Heumarkt. It has a good atmosphere, at least outside. It wasn't crowded and didn't have to wait long. But don't expect much in terms of taste. Just eat and go.

There was hardly any meat in the kebab, and it was almost raw, watery, and dripping. They had to cut down on the salad too, as the bowls were almost empty. I threw the thing in the trash after two bites. Absolutely disgusting. A shameful rip-off to charge €8 for this. Rude staff. Thank you. Never again!

If you want a proper kebab, wait a minute longer. Not recommended. Cologne actually has really good kebabs.

The doner sandwich for €8 isn't really recommended; the doner meat lacked flavor, there were no tomatoes in the salad, and the sauce was bland. The ayran at €2.50 wasn't cheap either.

I went there with my girlfriend and we had our first meal together. The employee acted strangely when I asked if I could order outside. They also didn't look me in the eye when communicating, but looked somewhere else. Very, very unpleasant staff. The meat was fatty and dry. Truly bland. As a reward, I was able to become a regular customer at Serways in Cologne Central Station several times. So, kebab time became Serways time. My stomach was so bloated I felt like I was pregnant. Avoid this place!!

I ate at this "restaurant" for the first time today. Aside from the service, which was anything but polite, we noticed a lot of mice running in and out of the kitchen during our meal, as well as mice hiding behind furniture. When we pointed this out to a member of staff, we were answered in a very rude tone that this was "normal, since we're in the old town and the door is open all the time." Unfortunately, we only saw reviews afterwards, but apparently neither the owner nor his staff have any interest in addressing such serious hygiene deficiencies. The price-performance ratio is also completely unjustified.

Fast, tasty, reasonable price for kebab box

The place isn't exactly clean. The cards and tables were sticky, and the cutlery resembled that of a university cafeteria. The staff weren't at all interested or attentive, even though we were the only customers. One employee seemed to prefer watching loud videos on their phones. The food was simply average, didn't look good, and was overpriced.

The kebab man was very nice but unfortunately the kebab didn't taste like a kebab at all.

Not recommended. The doner meat unfortunately had hardly any flavor—simply bland. The portion was very small, and there was very little meat in it. The drinks were overpriced, like airplane fares. The service was disappointing: Even though we ate there, we had to pay immediately before we could even eat. I would recommend going somewhere else. This is, of course, just my personal opinion.

I'm not the type to leave reviews. I created this account to express how disappointed I am to have eaten here... EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE meets EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY. I got about 80g of meat, and as a mini bonus, I had to pay almost €25 for two drinks and two dürüms. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

I came here for dinner with some friends. I ordered a dürüm. The batter was still very light and didn't taste all the way through. The lettuce wasn't crispy and looked dried out. The amount of topping was very small. There was very little on it, so it definitely wasn't filling. The fries weren't tasty either. I'm shocked after reading a review that mentioned a mouse in the kitchen.

Today I ate a doner kebab and some fries at Kebap Time. They were very tasty and the staff were very nice.

I was in Cologne for the first time with a friend and we went for a walk in the city center and then found the shop Kebab Time. After a long walk, we wanted to eat a kebab there. Unfortunately, the staff there were very unfriendly and I immediately had the feeling that the kebab would be just as bad. After my friend ordered and I quickly went to the bathroom, I came back and looked into the kitchen on the way back because I was passing by. There was a mouse... unfortunately my friend had already paid otherwise we definitely would have gone somewhere else. The kebab was cold and lifeless... the salad was like dipped in vinegar, the meat was cold, the bread was dry, and the sauce had nothing to do with cocktail sauce. The kebab was bad... the way they treated customers was bad too... and the hygiene in the kitchen was bad too... I'm writing this one day after we ate that stuff there and I have a complete stomach ache. I wish I could give it zero stars and make the shop close... Simply disgusting and you pay too much for the service you get. Simply closing the store would be better for everyone.

A spontaneous visit here. The kebab was very expensive for the price. Unfortunately, it wasn't very tasty and was a disappointment for all of us. With a group of more than 10 people, everyone unfortunately had the same opinion. The service also seemed more stressed than friendly, even though it wasn't busy.

The durum was not reheated when rolled so it was not very tasty. The location of the restaurant is convenient.

As someone from the Berlin area, I'm perhaps used to the best of things, but it tasted like a doner kebab I could have made myself with ingredients from Kaufland. The meat tasted like ground beef, the salad mix you could buy in the refrigerated section, and the sauce selection (garlic and cocktail sauce? Since when does that belong on a doner kebab?) was also poor. Service was unfriendly, and considering we were alone in the store, the TV channel was very complicated. (Card payment didn't work either; the card machine displayed "no network" on the note.)

A disaster. The toppings were absolutely careless. The oil and sauce immediately ran all over my clothes. My outfit is ruined, and now I have to walk around Cologne all drunk, day and night. Maybe we should work on improving the staff's motivation. Experience shows that it's possible without constant mess.

Unfortunately, I was completely disappointed with my visit. I found the quality of the food to be too expensive compared to the performance. The kebab plate was a big disappointment for me and didn't meet my expectations. The portion size was a disgrace! Some of the staff are very unfriendly! In addition, the cleanliness in the restaurant left a lot to be desired, which affected the overall impression.

Amazing Turkish food and service. So delicious food with original tasting. We have an incredible tipical yogurt base drink and a super delicious lentil soup. The lamp kebab was incredible, and the chicken one was so tender and juicy. The bread is homemade at the moment in front of your eyes, always hot and perfect to share with different dips. €2 was charged for the toilets. Which is a lot if you don't order food. When you got to the toilet you couldn't lock the door as a woman! An absolute no go. There was no toilet paper, the toilet was dirty and you couldn't flush. When I pointed out what condition the toilet was in and that it couldn't be that the toilet couldn't be locked, I was rudely told to go to the toilet next door. I would not recommend this store!

Underground… Waiter was totally incompetent and unfriendly!! We ate there yesterday and ordered Adana kebab and chicken curry. Adana was bad in taste. Chicken curry was anything but chicken curry and the rice was cold and old. As drinks we had Spezi and ApfelSCHORLE as the name spritzer suggests, it should be carbonated but the waiter obviously didn't understand that. Because after our complaint we were brought apple JUICE again. At Spezi there was also freestyling. A Cola and Fanta mixture that didn't taste anything like Spezi. After the drinks came and 0.4l glasses were brought and we said that we wanted 0.2l, we were brazenly told "Yes, because that's what I did" sorry, but it couldn't be more impudent. It's best to avoid the store. No hello, no goodbye, just putting the cards down and zipping them off is no service and not worth a cent.

So it was really expensive! The service was friendly, but also a bit strange. The toilets were dirty and you couldn't even lock the door in the women's toilet. It was all somehow very careless and left no impression on us. We wouldn't go there again.

I've rarely been to such a bad restaurant. Not recommended in all aspects. The landlord waited over half an hour for our food even though we were almost the only ones in the restaurant. When we ordered another portion of fries it took another 20 minutes for them to arrive. The taste of the food wasn't even close to the high price and the size of the portions was really bad.

When I wrote the review, the shop was still called Latino Loco and not Kebab Time - so the good rating does not refer to the current operator👋🏼 The prices are adapted to the location but the quality is otherwise also the same. We had starters, mains and cocktails. The cocktails in the happy hour but also the (strong) cocktails without a discount (are worth the money). Everything we have eaten here so far has been to the point and the waitress was very courteous and regularly at the table, which is important to me personally. The owner also came occasionally to check on everything and you felt noticed. It's worth a visit (we're not from the region) and you can have a nice time.

We were really positively surprised. As a starter we had the Kurdish soup. I had a kofta plate and my friend ordered a mixed grill plate. It was so delicious. The location was very pleasant and the atmosphere was calm, which allowed us to rest after a long walk. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Always happy.
