You have very bad waiters, very bad employees, they sat at one table and removed the second table, they told us from the second table, don't sit under the feet, sit somewhere else, what kind of nonsense is this, I don't understand what kind of restaurant it is, it's very bad.

We were there yesterday evening and wanted to buy a wrap package for 2 people. We paid 30 euros for 2 wraps. I was told that the portions were large. I have never encountered such an incident before. If there is such a thing, it should be stated in advance.

This can't be the price of two wraps and a rice pudding. Authorities please follow up on the bill. Thank you.

The staff is friendly and attentive, and service is quick, even when the store is full. And it often is – which speaks for the quality. Nevertheless, everything is organized and relaxed. Extra requests are also warmly welcomed. The decor is simple but cozy, and there is enough space - whether for a quick lunch or a longer evening with friends or family. The portions are generous and the price-performance ratio is absolutely fair. For me, the Mevlana Restaurant is definitely one of the best Turkish restaurants in Cologne. If you're looking for good food, fast service and authentic taste, this is the place for you.

We had dinner with my wife today. I ate döner kebab, rice and salad, and my wife ate iskender. My food was good, I liked it. But my wife found Iskender very weak. Normally the yoghurt is on the side, but here it was all nestled together with the base made. We also found the iskender to be a little too salty. Actually, all of these things are normal, but what does not seem normal to us is that they do not accept payment by card. When we said we wanted to pay by card, we received a warning that the card is not accepted. It doesn't matter what era we are in..!!! We were coming from abroad and we might not have had any cash with us at that time. Maybe you will correct yourself when you see this article...

Nobody asked if we liked it or if we needed anything else. The waiters behind us just played on their cell phones and scurried around. You had to talk to them yourself if you needed something. The almost untouched Iskender plate was cleared away without comment. And we passed at least 5 waiters as we were leaving and no one said goodbye. While there was a normal salad next to the doner kebabs on some plates, I think they put flat cabbage on one of them because they ran out of ingredients. Although the food quality was average, the waiters' behavior was disgraceful.

I only eat at Mevlana on Keupstrasse - you know what you're getting! The kebab tastes really good, everything is fresh and very seasoned. The people there are really nice and warm, you just feel welcome. Clear recommendation! Only the parking options are somewhat limited.

The service was anything but friendly, and when we ordered, all three dishes were served incorrectly. We have never experienced such rude staff, especially not in a restaurant like Mevlana. We went there based on our friends' recommendation but were extremely disappointed. In our opinion, it is also noteworthy that card payments are not accepted in such a restaurant and only cash payments are possible. The portion sizes were also very small. The order you placed for my son included a children's menu that consisted of a precisely counted portion of just eight fries and one meatball. I find it extremely disappointing and sad that the menu is offered in this form. Given that this is a children's menu, one might have expected a larger portion or a more varied selection to suit a child's needs and appetite. Little details like this add a lot to the overall dining experience and I think there is room for improvement here.

Unfortunately, the experience is somewhat overshadowed by the crowds: you feel like you have to get up quickly as soon as your plate is empty. The waiters are quite rushed and regularly ask if you are ready, which undermines the relaxed atmosphere a bit. The owner is a very friendly man who clearly knows his stuff and has his heart in the right place. Yet you notice that you are not running a business alone, and the team seems to have some difficulty with (constructive) criticism. Too bad, because the price-quality ratio is otherwise excellent. Hopefully the team will be able to find the balance between efficiency and hospitality in the future.

We have always been coming to this place for years because the food is delicious, but this time we did not like it at all. The Cöp Şişin Meat was raw and very bloody. It was really disgusting. They took the plate back and cooked the meat again. There was clay on the cutlet on the plate. Even though we told the waiters twice, they did not react at all. They turned a deaf ear. This is not a nice behavior, unfortunately, in other places. Such behavior is not possible, that's why this was our last visit, it's a shame we came all this way, it's definitely not worth coming again!

We were there on a Saturday and we noticed that every time we came by the service from the employees was very bad. We are eating and have to listen to stupid comments from the waiters, especially an older waiter. They say customer is king but the opposite is shown every time. The rule still applies if you want to keep customers that you should treat the customers that way.

Ate a la carte for lunch. Iskander suffocated under red sauce. The Michreiss dessert (baked) had been slapped into ugly little bowls and came ice cold straight from the fridge. Terrible!
