Never eating out sounds good because of the prices, but you'll have a stomachache afterwards. The service couldn't be more unfriendly: they told me how I should pay, "Next time, pay cash!" Never again!!

Sometimes you really wonder why the meat is so cheap, and now I know why. Pure stomach pain and multiple trips to the toilet after eating there. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! And when I wanted to pay by card, the employee told me I should pay with cash, which makes you wonder why if they accept card payments. Not a good place!

What Google Maps calls a restaurant is, at best, a shabby snack bar. The exterior is plastered with false prices and promises. For example, it says "Doner and Ayran for €5." If you order a doner, you're rudely told to move to the side. They don't even ask about the meat; instead, a homeopathic portion is simply slapped carelessly into the white bread. Ayran costs extra, of course. And while half of our tour group felt like they were getting whole cucumbers stuffed into their doner because they lacked the necessary fine motor skills to chop it, I was standing at the cash register, trying to pay with my debit card, when I was yelled at incomprehensibly that this service is sometimes unavailable in the aforementioned establishment. Completely confused, I left the place and took a look at the facade, where several signs for "Electronic Cash" were posted... Unbelievable. Unfortunately, the dry, sticky white bread couldn't do anything more than satisfy hunger.

I was in the store on September 27, 2025, at 4:48 PM and ordered three menu items totaling €24! I wanted to pay with my card. I did that, but what I was told didn't go through! The second time, exactly the same thing happened! I then paid in cash! And now I see I've been charged twice! Unbelievable! I'm reporting this to the police! E

The food has deteriorated considerably. For example, the wraps were dry, with hardly any salad. The falafel plate was served with fries instead of rice. The falafel was also frozen and not homemade. There was no friendliness, and they charged €16 instead of €13. We were there on a Thursday at 4 p.m.... so it's not like they were overwhelmed and should rush everything. Never again!!!

A really strange shop. I felt very uncomfortable; the person behind the counter wasn't exactly friendly. My girlfriend and I were so craving kebabs that we just went out and found the shop. We should have left it alone. The vegetables weren't fresh; you could not only taste them, you could see them too. They skimp on the sauces, and even so, I felt the flavor was lacking. The fries hadn't been in the fryer long, if they had even been there at all; they just tasted like they'd been defrosted with salt. The prices are unbeatable, but everything else in the shop nearly overwhelmed me. I don't recommend it! Please don't go there if you still respect yourself.

Price / quality balance is very successful

Unfortunately, I have to change my rating from five to one. The quality and taste in this shop have declined significantly. The kebab is still cheap, but I didn't like it. The shop has gone from being one of the best kebab shops on the street to being one of the worst.

The food was pretty solid. The service was abysmal, to say the least. I don't think I've ever seen a staff member "working" so listlessly. It was my first time there because of the TV, and I DON'T RECOMMEND IT!!

I ordered a kebab. The employee simply stuffed the already sliced meat, which was sitting there cold, into my bread, even though I said I didn't want it that way. The bread was unpalatable because it had been toasted twice... At €5 plus one ayran, I should have been a bit more concerned. I'm completely disappointed! This will be my last visit, unfortunately!

About a year ago, I wrote a 5-star review because the price/performance ratio was absolutely right, and they also served yaprak, or steak. For over a year now, they've only been serving a minced meat skewer and a chicken skewer. The real reason for my review is that I found something absolutely disgusting in my kebab, and since then, I can't and won't go there again. At least the chicken skewer is cooked thoroughly after someone pointed it out. Some reviews mention food poisoning and nausea, partly because the chicken kebab, in particular, was served raw. As a kebab owner, you have to be aware that you can easily get salmonella from this.

There is no problem... no possibility of payment by Visa, MasterCard...

€5 for a doner kebab sounds fair at first – until you bite into it. Meat? Barely any. Instead, you get mostly salad and sauce in your bread. It tastes more like a diet sandwich than a doner kebab. Honestly, you feel ripped off. I'd rather pay €2-3 more and get a proper doner kebab with meat. It doesn't make sense like this – once and never again.

I recommend this place. The soups are delicious. The doner kebab isn't bad either. The staff is friendly.

Once, never, never again. Ordered a Turkish pizza with meat... Still looking for the meat. Doner kebab plate with fries... It had good meat on it, but I've never had such poor quality before. I've been there quite a few times. Well, today was the last time. Depending on who is behind the counter, what you get is simply very different. The kebab bread had just run out again. Then the guy wants to give me a Dürum bread in return, which was much less filled for more money. Is that my problem, that you've calculated incorrectly, then it's not clear to pack in even less meat, wanting to have less than a kebab but more money is really cheeky in this case. I'm definitely not going to let myself be taken for a ride and I'm definitely not going to get a stupid comment on top of it. Keupstrasse is long, so from now on I'd rather go somewhere else where you can get care and be treated accordingly. This is how you lose customers. ✌

Never again! After a concert I was hungry and went to this kebab shop - a big mistake. As soon as you entered, the atmosphere seemed anything but inviting. The salad bar looked like it had seen its best days, there was no question of freshness. The floor was dirty, as if it hadn't been mopped in weeks, and there were old fries lying around, especially by the deep fryer - absolutely unhygienic. In terms of taste, it was the lowest point: This was by far the worst Dürum I have ever eaten. The dough was simply tasteless and the meat was subpar at best. Overall the whole thing was just disappointing. I will give Keupstrasse a wide berth in the future!

Smallest Dürum I've eaten in my life. Nothing more than a small snack for the hollow tooth. Average taste. Not folded properly so it wasn't closed at the bottom and everything ran out/fell out. Can you eat? You won't get full. But it wasn't expensive either.

Honestly, I have no idea where all the positive reviews come from or if we even went to the same kebab shop - but this was an absolute disaster. The kebab was so disappointing that I ate it more out of principle than pleasure because I didn't like the money. Far too small, hardly any sauce, the fries were completely soggy and tasted more moist than crispy. And I paid a few euros more than what was shown on the menu :/ Lg

I eat here regularly until now. The prices for kebab sandwiches and kebab fries are unbeatable, but the quality of the food doesn't suffer. The service is also really good, as I always get new variations of the French kebab with pomegranate sauce, nuts and other goodies. I can recommend everyone to eat here.

Since the new managing director has been working on site, we have been avoiding this business. There were repeated derogatory comments about Germans - this was recorded and later translated. What was striking was the frequent use of the term "Alman", which confirmed the suspicion. It is also known that some long-standing employees work there under questionable conditions - apparently without official registration and for unreasonably low wages. Of particular concern is that the same employees can be found both in the morning and at 3 a.m., raising questions about compliance with labor law regulations. An unhappy team inevitably impacts morale. Even if the salespeople are friendly, the manager shows no appreciation for either the customers or the employees. Therefore, in our opinion, this business cannot be recommended...

Maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but it was really inedible. New dental implant sends greetings. They only have 5-6 menus to choose from. if you want to eat cheaply and do without your teeth. you can eat there If I ever came to Keupstrasse, I would never eat there again in my life.

The kebab was okay, it could have been a little bigger. I had lunch there on Friday and somehow it didn't seem like you were welcome as a guest. It was dark, the screens were mostly off, and somehow not really used with any enthusiasm.

Completely rotten kebab tzaziki was just plain yoghurt slapped on it. Meat wasn't cooked through and got gastro-intestinal

Totally cold bread that wasn't warmed up and fatty white meat that I couldn't chew and was simply replaced with fat (saving at the wrong end) red cabbage shot too much with vinegar Drinks were Pepsi one day and the small Cola bottles from Aldi one day sometimes Fanta exotic the little vulture cans and the ayran super salty I have the feeling that it has expired a long time ago. What also struck me was why drinks were allowed to be in the refrigerated section without a deposit label? where I thought that you could be punished if that wasn't the case. and since then the first and last time I was there and which I can't recommend to anyone. Unfortunately, Keup Street is no longer what it is, but is just a rip-off for money. My only hope is Kilim, but my Turkish friends have also said that the owners are no longer the same and that new people have taken over the shop. On the whole, my honest opinion is a 2 out of 10 because meat was replaced with fat that you can't chew and the authorities have to intervene here. Since this "corner" is only "home" to Arabic and Turkish restaurants, I chose "ABA" after a "look around" the street and tried my culinary "luck" here 😑...and what can I say 🤔. ..hmmm... you could describe it as “reaching for the toilet bowl” 🙂‍↔️. Unfriendly and not very customer-oriented staff, garnished with a pinch of "indifference". This is probably the "upcoming" standard. Also fits the following note regarding sanitary locations > "Toilet is BROKEN" 😏 Conclusion: no recommendation 😑!

Me and some friends of mine wanted to treat ourselves to kebab and pomm kebab after a concert here, but unfortunately we were relatively disappointed. Our pomm kebab only consisted of fries, sauce and meat and our kebab was also pretty poor. After we asked for more spices, we were told that pointed out that there seemed to be more on the tables, which unfortunately wasn't the case. A cozy ambience, attentive service and an excellent selection of dishes make this restaurant a perfect place for an all-round successful culinary experience.

We had two kebab menus that were quite solid. The fries were warm and crispy and the sauces didn't cost extra and there was plenty on them. Some comments describe a cold kebab. In fact, the meat and bread are warm. The reason why the kebab is perceived as cold is probably due to the very chilled sauces and toppings, so the kebab can quickly become cold. The kebab itself is really solid, there are probably better ones (in terms of taste), yes, but for the price (doner kebab + ayran €5 - kebab menu with drink and fries €6.99) and if you want to eat something quick in the evening, you can You really can't go wrong here. It's tasty, but not a taste explosion. None of us felt sick or anything like that, everything was hygienic. The reviews with the counter pictures (salad, etc.) - It's probably quite normal for this to spread in the container over the course of the evening, in my opinion that has nothing to do with hygiene 👍🏻
