Very unfriendly staff, food was carelessly placed on a tray and after repeated reminders that it was ordered to take away and should be packed up, they were still arguing.

Doner kebabs can be better and cheaper, but they're generally not bad.

The doner kebab was good, but nothing special with the steak meat. I had imagined it would be juicier – but that's probably just down to my expectations. The sauce selection was okay. Cocktail, tzatziki, and hot were all fine, but nothing extraordinary. The hot sauce wasn't hot at all. And I'm not saying that because I usually eat spicy food, but because I didn't feel even a hint of heat on my tongue or in my throat. I actually really liked the bread; it was the best part of the doner. Very crispy and long. The service was good; we were able to sit inside and park across the street. But it was also just before 1 a.m. Otherwise, you'll definitely have trouble finding parking there.

The food is really, really good. They have amazing homemade soups. Plus, all the meat is fresh and flavorful. I'll definitely be back!

Service is horrible. Homophonic problem & female harassment is accepted!!! People working there are a big problem!!! The men working there accept that a female gets harassed, even though she complained to them. And say: we can’t do anything!! They watched!! Story: Me, female, was there with my brother and German female best friend. We almost finished our food when a man next to us sat down and started starring at me. He didn’t stop starring at me, so I asked: Is everything ok or why do you stare at me? He looked at me and said: is it not allowed to look? I said: no I don’t feel comfortable about it. He: you don’t understand me? You can’t speak high German? - his friend came and sat across him. He looked at his friend and said: I don’t like women who sit like this (referring to me) and homosexual man who act like this. (He made a hand move which my brother didn’t do) I went to the people working there and said: the guy who just sat down next to us doesn’t stop starting at me and calls my brother as an assault homosexual. I even spoke in Turkish with them. I asked to get him out so we can finish our food. They said we can’t do anything. During that the people working their watched how this guy didn’t stop harassing my brother, started harassing my German female friend and me ! Sorry but not all men are the problem, but men watching this behavior and not doing anything are the problem! Wouldn’t spent any euro there!

I had Iskender, it was very good but a bit too greasy for me. I'll definitely try something else next time; the service was super friendly.

Your typical Turkish kebab place

The music in the shop is so loud that the employee preparing the dürüm and döner can't hear you unless you shout. He was being humiliated. €9.90 for a dürüm with what felt like 20 grams of meat is also outrageous. My second time here, and last.

Disappointing Experience at KudrEt in Cologne We ate at KudrEt in Cologne today – unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. My wife ordered the Çökertme Kebab for a hefty €19.90. There was hardly any meat on the plate, but a pile of dry, thin fries. The meat itself was tough and tasteless. Furthermore, the plate it was served on was chipped – truly unacceptable at these prices. After a 30-minute wait, the food finally arrived. I ordered a mixed doner kebab plate for €15.90. The meat was extremely dry and bland, the fries were dark, completely dry, unsalted, and definitely tasted of old frying oil. We felt completely ripped off for two small Cokes Zero (0.2 l) at €3.20 each. The price was a total rip-off. The surroundings didn't save the experience either: The restroom couldn't be locked, smelled unpleasantly of urine, and looked neglected (even the urinal was haphazardly covered with foil). The guests at the next table had an Adana kebab that looked like it had come straight from the microwave – completely dry, without a trace of juiciness. In total, we paid €43 and, while we did leave full, we were very disappointed. For that price, you can get significantly better quality, friendlier service, and decent portions on Keupstraße or in Düsseldorf. Conclusion: Never again KudrEt. The price-performance ratio is absolutely unacceptable – a waste of money and a wasted evening.

Nice restaurant... Respectful and friendly staff

Based on several recommendations that raved about Kudr-Et, I decided to visit when I was in the area. I ordered a doner kebab plate with steak, along with salad, fries (rice is also an option), and three sauces (spicy, tzatziki, and cocktail). The meat was dry and cold, with a slight burnt appearance on the outside. The fries were nothing special—probably the standard cheap frozen fries. The salad, on the other hand, was fresh and tasty. I was disappointed by the cleanliness and hygiene of the restroom, where I only wanted to wash my hands. The smell was reminiscent of a highway rest stop toilet, and overall, I would describe it as unclean. I was also disappointed that a small çay (tea) cost €1.50 and apparently wasn't offered free after a meal, as is usually the case in Turkish restaurants. I wouldn't dismiss the place outright and would consider giving it another try. However, for me, the price-performance ratio was simply not right.

The doner kebab was phenomenal. The bread was super crispy with sesame seeds. I suspect it's homemade. The meat was delicious, and both the spicy sauce and the garlic sauce are heavenly. Definitely in the top 3 kebab shops in Cologne. Update: I finally went there a second time and had to upgrade the service rating. Every special request (lots of sauce, good packaging since I came all the way from Sülz) was met with a smile. The food was once again a hit, and Kudret is now officially the NUMBER 1 doner kebab shop in Cologne for me.

One of the many kebab shops on the Ringstraße. I came here specifically because it's listed on Instagram, etc., as one of the best kebab shops in Cologne. I can't confirm that. The kebab wasn't even average; it was edible, but not particularly tasty. I wouldn't recommend it.

Two of us went to Kudret on the Ringen and are truly disappointed – it was an absolute disaster! We ordered a grill plate for two, but we got a tiny portion, barely enough for one: three small pieces of chicken, half (!) a skewer of Adana that wasn't even cooked properly, and everything looked old and unloved. I complained because there was only half an Adana on it – the answer was actually: "That's the large portion for two." Honestly, that was simply ridiculous. They could have at least added half a piece. The service was completely unfriendly and annoyed, and the food at the next table was even forgotten. For the price, the whole thing is an absolute disgrace. I never usually write negative reviews, but here I unfortunately have to agree with the bad reviews: Pure rip-off, disastrous service – never again!

Update Disaster Service was terrible. Waited 15 minutes for a waiter, then went to the competitor/alternative... Service preferred to clear the table that hadn't been cleared for 20 minutes instead of taking the customer's order... Too much celebrity advertising on social media. Service/quality/taste were terrible - once and never again.

I had a kebab, which was unfortunately cold. The chicken was sold out. It can happen. The cheese was also sold out, which can also happen. But I don't understand why you complain and then get a new one that's also cold, and I won't accept that again.

The ambiance is really great. I find it very pleasant and stylishly decorated. The service was perfectly fine, but unfortunately, the fries were a letdown. The fries were really good and the sauces were okay, but the meat didn't appeal to me at all... very dry and "hard," like leather, as if it had been warmed on the spit for too long.

It was my first and last time there. All the tables were dirty. Before ordering, I asked about cashless payment. They confirmed this, only to tell me during the checkout process that only cash payments were accepted? The best part, though, was that I saw others paying directly with their cards at the counter. As a guest, you feel like you've been ripped off.

If you kept your opening hours the same and placed more emphasis on quality (better-seasoned meat and sauces), you'd be number 1 on the Ring. Unfortunately, the kebab has been mediocre so far, but I love you just for bridging the gap between 5 and 7 a.m.

The restaurant is very nice, but I would have preferred a bit more friendliness and a smile from the waitress. The other employees were extremely courteous and polite—the exact opposite. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the aforementioned waitress, which left me with a somewhat disappointed impression. I also noticed that she displayed an unfriendly attitude toward me twice. I visited the restaurant twice, and unfortunately, the waitress's behavior remained unchanged on the second visit.

I absolutely love this Kudr-et Eatry shop! They conjure up the most incredible kebab doner sandwich that will blow your taste buds away. The staff is not only polite but also radiates warmth and happiness, making every visit feel special. And let me tell you, the chef is not only a culinary genius—he's also a fantastic dancer! It's a shame Ali is too shy to show off his moves in front of me and the customers, because I can only imagine how entertaining that would be!

The doner kebab tasted absolutely nothing! The yaprak meat was dry and tasted of nothing. I saw them adding the sauce, but while I was eating it, I wondered where it was. I've eaten there three times now (I've been to Cökertme twice before) and I've finally vowed never to go back. You pay €18.90 for ONE plate, which doesn't even fill you up (the portions were too small both times). Sorry, but this is a complete rip-off!

How can you treat customers so disgustingly and disrespectfully? I was standing right in front of you, patiently waiting to place my order. A Turkish couple came after me and stood behind me, yet the incompetent staff simply ignored me and served them in Turkish. They got their food before me, even though they hadn't ordered beforehand and weren't ahead of me. I'm sorry I'm not Turkish; perhaps I would have been treated better then.

The Dürum doner was cold and extremely greasy, and the ingredients tasted stale. Definitely the worst and most expensive Dürum I've had in Cologne so far.

No, not a recommendation. The food was average. You can get better anywhere. The bread was cold; you could tell it had already been torn off by another customer. The waitress pulled a face when I only tipped a euro for this meager meal. People, go eat somewhere else!

Parking is impossible. Kelle soup is delicious. But the portions are too big. Inexplicably big. I don't understand why these expats are so unbalanced and disproportionate. This is not a business but a customer preference. Bulgur pilaf and rice pilaf came as an appetizer plate with bulgur falafel...

We were very satisfied the first time. The second time was exactly the same... but the third and fourth time, we thought, "What happened?" They served burnt chicken doner kebab meat that was extremely salty and rubbery... We asked several times for white rice, but the bulgur still came... Other customers, who were apparently wealthier, were interesting... Something was always forgotten...we had to wait for it so we could eat together...

Well, the highly praised steak doner didn't exactly blow me away. The bread was great, but the contents were so-so. No need to repeat.

The meat was very nice, but the sauce from the cokertme was a bit sour, but the staff were nice, and there were three of us.

My husband and I were there with our baby and wanted to sit outside and eat a kebab. The waiter said we weren't allowed to do that. The kebabs were only available to take away. We then left. But when we got up, some young people sat down outside at the same time with only kebabs on their trays. We felt really ripped off. The mere fact of telling customers what they can and can't eat at the table is so unfriendly to customers. We then went over to Mangal Döner, it was very tasty and you can eat your kebab outside there ;) It's our own fault, we would never come back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Very unfriendly employees, just because we got a fries and a kebab, they were pissed and said we could only take away. After that we were allowed to sit outside. The next waiter came and told us that we weren't allowed to sit because we didn't have any real food. What kind of outrageousness is that? I've been to so many restaurants that I haven't seen anywhere that you're not allowed to sit if you only have a kebab sandwich. Toilets were disgusting, no paper to dry your hands, no soap. But the main thing is to get a 5 star restaurant and that's it. I would never recommend it to anyone else

I went there bc I was literally starving, the plates of other clients looked very decent so i decided to to have a sit, absolutely norhi to complain about the service: Objective, fast and kind. About the food: I reques the classid döner teller, the salad was fresh as it should be, the fries were on right point but the main star of the plate wasn’t quite fol the hole thing, although they offer a lot of meat, a lot of this meet in my plate were not soft döner meat but instead small, dry/overcooked pieces of meet that ruined the hole thing, guys on the plate preparation need to be more attentive. BUT OK, for 20€ i can ask much.

Dear Kudr-et Döner team, your kebab is very tasty when you come back from partying. However, it is not a typical Berlin kebab. I miss the flatbread, I wasn't expecting a sandwich. Nevertheless: very tasty, gladly again.

We ate there a total of 3 times and apart from one slightly over-salted fries, everything was great. The veal on the spit is very tasty and highly recommended.

I'm really disappointed in Kudret. It is absolutely disrespectful that you are not allowed to eat outside on the outdoor terrace just because you ordered a Dürüm! Every customer pays for their meal, regardless of whether it is a plated meal or a dürüm, and a distinction is still made between guests. It's not acceptable to treat paying customers in such a derogatory way. Food is food, and the patio should be open to everyone, not just certain dishes. Completely outrageous behavior, I will definitely not be coming back.

The meat was tasty but fatty. But it actually worked. However, the service was a bit questionable. Although nice and well-intentioned, the bill was brought without being asked, they insisted on having everyone pay together, and we had to ask several times to pay individually. And when paying the tip you are asked (as in many places) whether you want to press the tip button. Anyone who gives a tip should do so automatically without being asked/asked. Still nice staff

A very special culinary experience at Kudr-et in Cologne! If you've always wanted to know what a lukewarm kebab plate tastes like at a top price of €16.90, you've come to the right place. The taste? Unforgettable - but more because you wonder how you can make so little out of so much money. The service rounded off the evening perfectly: the waiters seemed wonderfully disoriented, which provided some additional entertainment at the table. So if you want to play an expensive guessing game like “Do they actually know what they’re doing?” should definitely plan a visit! For everyone else: There are definitely better alternatives in Cologne.

Impudence! 😡 We wanted to go out for dinner with the family in the evening – some people had kebabs, some people had plates. And then something like this: No more kebab after 4 p.m., only to go?! 😤 What's that supposed to mean? A kebab house should offer kebab! If you're going out to eat with the family, be there beforehand! Before 4 p.m.! Doner to go from 4 p.m.? ! No consumption possible on site...

Unfortunately, despite the store being empty, we were turned away (11:30 p.m. arrival time on a Wednesday) because we only ordered one kebab per person. Unfortunately very annoying as I would have liked to have another drink. I can't imagine that such a policy leads to good reviews. Too bad!

One of the best kebabs I've ever eaten. Mega meat and not a lot of frills. Now it's coming. Eat once and never forget it again. Vedat best man! Keep it up! We'll be back.

We ate at Kudr-et Döner House today, and unfortunately, the food wasn't quite to our liking. The fries seemed very greasy and had an unusual flavor. The tzatziki sauce wasn't particularly tasty either. Although hunger ultimately drove us down, the food overall wasn't particularly tasty. We both had stomachaches after the visit, which is unfortunate. On the positive side, the friendly staff and the generally good service deserve mention. However, based on our experience, I can't recommend the food. Perhaps it was an isolated incident, but it wasn't ideal for us.

Unfortunately, we had to eat outside even though everything inside was empty. Apparently, everything was reserved. Two women were allowed to sit even though they didn't have reservations. The food wasn't great either. Unfortunately, never again. Having to sit in the cold with a child even though everything inside is empty is sick.
