I had the döner kebab. The meat portions are twice the size of those in Türkiye. They serve pickles, fries, yogurt sauce, and salad. The döner kebab is delicious, and it's cut with a döner knife. The prices are reasonable for the portion size. The staff is friendly and the service is very fast.

Today I ate there and found hair in the meat, and there were hairs everywhere in the salad, too. A waiter with a big haircut and a beard did this on purpose. Don't eat there; it's truly disgusting.

One options to get food around Köln Hbf. Not so far from the exit gate (Dom). We bought pomdönner to take away. It's delicious, especially when it's still hot and when you eat it when the weather outside is cold.

Well! That was the worst dürüm I've ever eaten! The meat was completely gristly and extremely tough! You should work on the quality of the meat! The staff were very, very friendly, though.

After an eight-hour trip around Cologne with friends, the three of us were incredibly hungry. Despite that, I couldn't finish the meat wrap I ordered. Why? Not because it was too much, but because it was incredibly bad. I've never had a döner this cold and soggy. I can't recommend the best döner in Germany, but I can recommend the worst. Thank you.

The food is incredibly disgusting

The iskender came ice cold and the bread was dry. Just as we were about to tell the waiter, someone from the back asked why this döner was freezing, was the machine off? :D Then they changed the iskender and brought the döner, and this time it was hot but tasted weird. The rice pilaf that came with it was also inedible. Anyone craving döner or something like that should stay away from this place.

The meat was delicious, well cooked and full of flavor. The bread served was fresh and very good (what you would expect from a good Greek)

Not sure why the 1-star reviews recently. We received good service and food was decent. Had better Turkish food in Munich and Berlin. Their bread was outstanding though, served fresh from oven and the dipping sauces were good.

I ate Adana with Iskender sauce and yogurt, I couldn't get enough, it was really delicious, this dish and taste is really hard to make in about 10 minutes, thank you 💯💯💯

I am an American visiting Germany for the first time, and don’t speak German but had my husband try to order in German to make it easy for the workers here. They gave us disgusting attitude, and the clean-shaved man in the front even yelled at me to go to my seat in GERMAN when I made it clear I don’t understand him yet. This is a tourist city, and your kebab house is right at the center. Please have some courtesy towards your visitors and guests to the city who are TRYING to communicate with you in what you understand. It’s a shame you forgot your Ottoman courtesies to other Muslim guests. As for the food, it was okay. Chicken shawarma was way too salty. Translated into German: This is my first time coming to Germany as an American and I don't speak German, but I tried as best I could to get my husband to order in German to make it easier for the workers here. I wanted to eat German döner and sausage here during my visit to Cologne, but döner you eat anywhere in Europe might be more delicious.

Since starting my new job nearby, I've been there about 10 to 20 times for a kebab or a kebab plate. Occasionally, I've taken it out or occasionally eat in. I have a lunch break of exactly 30 minutes, and so far, the service has always been so fast that I've always been back at the office two or three minutes before the end of my break and had a relaxed meal. The quality has always been very good and, above all, consistent. I haven't had anything go wrong on Fridays, Mondays, or any other day. Since I always time myself very precisely, I can say that on average, my food is on the table within six minutes. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to go there because time doesn't allow it. It's a clean restaurant, the staff has always been the same, and there are no inexperienced staff behind the counter who don't know what to do with your order. There's salt and chili powder on the table for seasoning, which I think is very good. The prices are reasonable, but I find the drinks a bit too expensive; they could at least be 0.33L for the price. Otherwise, a visit to the restaurant is occasionally within the budget of an average earner, despite being in Cologne's city center. If it were more expensive, I might (or would have to) pass. Overall, I can't agree with the content of some of the reviews below 4 stars. This "kebab shop" hasn't yet given me any reason to continue across the street to "Poldi."

I give this kebab shop a complete 0 stars. Pommdöner 3x simply disgusting. The kebab was just the same. They didn't even put any sauce on it, and the tzatziki was truly disgusting. And the worst thing of all: my wife goes to their disgusting restroom, and suddenly an older guy wearing their t-shirt with a red rag is standing there in the narrow hallway, staring at her. You're lucky I wasn't there. You should fix the holes in the toilets, you idiots. Honestly, you should close down. The whole place is just disgusting.

Incredibly driest and most disgusting kebab in Germany so far

The lahmacun tasted good, but after queuing for the women's restroom, a male employee approached me outside the door. Inside, the toilet hadn't been flushed, he'd urinated on the floor, and I didn't hear the sink being used, so I assume he hadn't washed his hands either. I find it a disgusting thought to have someone like that prepare my meal.

The food was so disgusting, the meat was so unappetizing that I got stomach poisoning from it, and the staff was so unfriendly. I wouldn't eat there again. The prices are so high that you just get ripped off. I spent over €30 on a doner kebab, a potato doner kebab, and a lachmahum. It's a rip-off.

I don't understand the bad reviews. The kebab was large with plenty of meat and tasted excellent. The service was fast, friendly, and very attentive. The snack bar was very clean despite the late hour. The price is absolutely reasonable.

It's what you expect but that hits the spot. Turkish kebab. Large portions for a reasonable price considering the location next to the train station. Great for lunch or a late night fill up. No need for German you can use English or Turkish.

One star is too many. This dump has nothing to do with kebabs. Tzatziki has no place in kebabs, and even if they do, it should at least be homemade. The ambiance had a flickering light. The waitress sent us to another table after we had chosen a table. The "veal" was probably old leather, dry, and not at all chewable. The only positive thing is that you can go to the bathroom for free. Bottom line: for the €9 per kebab, buy a 6-pack of Desperados; you'll get more out of it.

Don't believe the positive reviews. Iskender kebabs are served with stale, hard-as-rock bread you don't know how old it is. And if you ask for butter, it's not fried, but reheated, filthy butter. Forks are simply thrown at the table. The toilets are filthy. The ayran is rancid. The döner kebab is just salt. It's indescribable, it's worth experiencing. I had to restrain myself from fighting.

The dürüm was unfortunately disastrous. The bread was raw, cold, floury, and seemed undercooked – absolutely unappetizing. Instead of a balanced topping, there was almost only salad, hardly any meat, and no sauce. This made the whole thing extremely dry and simply unpleasant in taste. It's very expensive, they don't forgive local tourists, I paid 11 Euros for baked beans and cola, the food was like half a portion, they don't give a receipt if you don't want it, it's a mess and dirty, I don't recommend it.

It's close to the Cologne Dom Cathedral and has a good location, but the food wasn't delicious. It was served in a sloppy manner. I ordered lamb shish kebab. It wasn't cooked well, and the rice they put on the plate was quite stale. I didn't see anyone wearing gloves while working, but the chefs had on a hairdryer. I finished my meal because I was so hungry, otherwise the plate was almost too good to finish. And finally, they stuffed the appetizer onto the same plate, the ezme, which wasn't good at all.

First, the more or less friendly question of whether you'd like to order takeout or eat in. You have to immediately vacate the table assigned by an employee because, according to another employee, it's for eight people – perhaps understandable, but you could have communicated that directly or assigned a smaller table. Ordered two kebab plates for €16 each – absolutely overpriced for the portion and taste. The cleanliness of the restaurant could still be improved! Will definitely NOT be back!!

There are various types of stews. We liked the baked beans, meat and chicken döner. The bread is hot and fresh. It is in a good location.

The portion of meat in the doner kebab is truly a joke. They put a pair of tongs in there, and that's it. So you're essentially paying €7.50 for bread and salad, and it's absolutely not worth it. Plus, the staff there are often unfriendly.

The waiters need to take a lesson in human interaction. We go in thinking it's a Turkish restaurant, ask questions, and get yelled at. Then they ask rude questions like, "Wouldn't you like this?" and then our order is wrong. Regarding the food, the döner was good, but I've had a doner with more sauce in Europe. I stopped at an Istanbul restaurant for dinner during a layover on my trip to Brussels via Mannheim. I won't comment on the kebabs or other dishes, so I won't be able to comment. However, I did try the beans and rice. I'm sorry, but it was a disgrace. The rice was bland and tasteless, and the beans had no flavor at all. Many of the beans weren't fully cooked, the oil was too much, and sunflower oil was used. Therefore, I advise you not to eat these dishes until they fix them. I also strongly advise the owner not to sell food they can't eat. While the service industry is about making money, satisfaction and taste should be the primary mission, and there should be continuity. Even though I was craving it that day, I left the rice and beans on the table, paid the bill, and quietly walked away. If the person clearing the table didn't understand this, you truly don't deserve what you get. I hope you'll notice these subtle details and be mindful of fairness in your work. Have a blessed day.

The guy taking the order was middle-aged with a potbellied stomach, zero interest, no courtesy, taking the order as if he was swearing, and then there was the same middle-aged guy at the cash register, reacting as if I was eating for free, not even responding to my good evening. The staff was shouting and talking loudly, everything was a disgrace. There was only one young guy without a uniform, he was very cheerful and friendly, the rest were straight trash, worthless people.

We arrived at noon on Friday, the atmosphere in the restaurant was very noisy and hot. There were 3 of us and we ordered food for each person with a portion of Turkish bread, a portion of kebab, a pizza and a bottle of water. After about 15 minutes, the staff brought the food but mistakenly gave us 2 portions of kebab, we didn't want to wait any longer so we accepted this mistake. The food looked good, it should taste moderate, however, there were no common spices like ketchup or Tabasco like in restaurants that serve pizza. The saddest thing was that the receptionist miscalculated our bill from 1 bottle of water to 3 bottles of water, if we hadn't checked again, I might have paid the wrong amount. He looked very cunning and had very fast hands, so I don't think this was a random mistake.
