Stumbled on this restaurant, near the cathedral and delighted with the authenticity of the food. Family run, clean, with an extensive menu, with those big Thai flavours. Portions very generous and very reasonably priced.

The food looked completely different than on the menu, instead of fish in pieces I got a whole fish (!) with the head and bones, it wasn't good either, I paid 22.90 instead of 14.90 as on the menu. There were ten of us there, the waitress didn't know who ordered what, I really can't recommend it...

We had dinner here on Saturday evening shortly before 9 p.m. The table was a little slanted on the sidewalk but otherwise everything was great. Nice service, it was super quick and it was really, really good. I eat Thai often and it was really good! Absolutely recommended and really good prices too. We cannot confirm any of the negative recessions here. And yes, you may not work with gloves, but very few restaurants do that :D you just can't see it!

Unfortunately the food was very bad and tasted like frozen food. I ordered two salads, spring rolls and beef skewers. The spring rolls tasted like normal frozen stuff. The salads were simply prepared quickly from leftovers and several limes that were squeezed by hand; the peels were put back into the food. The skewers were very hard and the consistency was similar to chewing gum. When I asked the chef about it, he became abusive and asked me how my mother prepares the food at home. Unfortunately, the waiters didn't speak any German and were dressed as if they were about to go jogging. The local cash register is apparently a Nike fanny pack. I wouldn't recommend this place because I had a stomach ache 30 minutes after eating.

Food was ok, not excellent but not bad. However when paying, the lady try to charge us 10 Eur more, if we had not ask for receipt we wouldn’t not notice the difference. Quite dishonest service.

Never ate so bad Thai Food in my life. I order TomYam soup, he made it with Just warm water and Powder broth, no chicken raw prawn and mushroom. Taste was so bad. Gebraten rice was just with soya souce. And price is tooo expensive. I will never go there again.

Original Thai taste, not too sweet, much better than other Thai restaurants I had in Europe. Neat station and cathedral. The kitchen is clean and tidy. This is the cleanest kitchen I saw in Europe. The food safety is satisfied! I’ll back if I travel to Cologne again.

Been here today & ordered white rice with mix tomyam & ginger tea. Tomyam taste not to the Thailand standard just so so. Very dissapointed payment must be in cash. Card are not allowed even though at the casher this is card machine. Will not recomend to my friends.

The food and stuff tasted good, but it took forever for the food to arrive. It may be that there was more going on than usual, but then they should bring the food at the same time and not in 15 minute increments. Otherwise everything was good, the service was nice and polite. (It is a family restaurant)

I waited 20 minutes for the waiter and he did not take even the order.

Food is fresh, friendly staff. However they got my order wrong 3 times, first i didn't order phat thai but somehow i got it?? Then i didn't ask for cola but the server gave me a cola when i clearly didnt ask for it, then i ordered 2 number 45s but only 1 came.

Very friendly and warm welcome. We were there with 6 people, with a table reservation, told us that it was a birthday party, we spontaneously congratulated and asked for a cell phone so that we could take souvenir photos, just great!!!

Very fresh, tasty and original Thai food. Papaya salad and laab gai were excellent. The ambience is quite authentically simple.

The food is simple but good. There is a typical menu. What's a bit annoying is that the kitchen is open in the room. It's quite loud. The restaurant itself isn't exactly "nice" but everyone has to judge that for themselves.

I think the best, most authentic tasting Thai food restaurant in cologne. Having visited Thailand many times and a huge fan of authentic Thai food. This restaurant the food is as real as it gets. I visited this restaurant twice during my stay in cologne and I certainly will visit this place and mark it as a favourite. The food is halal and suitable for Muslims visiting cologne. 5 star on everything ❤️🏆❤️🏆❤️🏆

I happened to be here looking for a quick lunch during my apprenticeship. I've never forgotten the excellent Pad Thai and haven't had it better since. Brings back memories of that time. Thanks for the great dishes at good prices :) The ambience doesn't invite you to linger for a long time, but the food makes you stay.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Abendessen und kam bei diesem Laden vorbei. Während ich die Speisekarte las, kam eine ältere Dame aus dem Laden und lud mich energisch dazu ein, einzutreten und händigte mir eine Speisekarte aus. Ich ließ mich überrumpeln, und bereute es bald sehr. Das Essen kam schnell, und das ist selten ein gute Zeichen. Weit enfernt von thailändischer Küche wurde eine kleine lauwarme Portion Reis mit frittiertem Gemüse und drei kleinen Tofustückchen serviert. Die Panade war nicht knusprig, das Gemüse war nicht frisch, die Würzung war zu salzig und ganz und gar unthailändisch. Hier wird nicht gekocht, um Menschen ein gutes Essen anzubieten, sondern möglichst viel Reibach zumachen. Traurig.

A little mom and pop shop! We went to this place for a quick sit down dinner before the Christmas markets. We ordered 6 entrees and 2 appetizers and everything was great. I had the Massamann curry and it was delicious! Vegetarian options for my veggie daughter as well (tofu or meatless options). Service was excellent as well. Food was prepared very quickly for such a large order. This place was exactly what we were looking for!

We ordered duck noodle soup for 12 euros and pad thai for 10 euros. The noodle soup tastes good, but the Pad Thai tastes average and not authentic. The service in the store made us uncomfortable and it took a long time to order, but the food was prepared very quickly. Limited space if you're traveling with kids and stroller.

When I came in, I saw a few black people working in the kitchen and I felt something was wrong. Sure enough, the fried Phnom Penh noodles were like Xiamen fried rice but not dry enough. There were too many beef soup and river vegetables. When I asked for a cup of lemon tea, there was no tea! Are you eating rice noodles with two spoons? I had mistakenly received two recommended coupons/tattoos before, so I made sure to know before others that there was a one euro charge for going to the restroom😵He took advantage of him and paid more to go to the restroom. He was so mean! I really can’t compare to even one star👎

Das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker. Geschmacklich war alles einwandfrei und für den Recht niedrigen Preis kann man meiner Meinung nach auch nicht mehr erwarten. Hier gibt es leckeren Ingwer Tee mit Honig.

Das kleine, einfache Restaurant wurde mir von einem Thailänder empfohlen. Das Essen war sehr lecker, hat geschmeckt wie in Thailand. Die Portion war riesig. Sehr günstig und hervorragendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Klare Empfehlung.

Second time eating here the food is good. The mango drink not soo much but the good compensated for it.

Nettes kleines Schnellrestaurant, Essen war gut und schnell auf dem Tisch. Netter Service. Preisgünstig.

Der Wok wurde gerade so warm, dann wurden wir schon bedient. Mehr kalt als heiß lagen die Nudeln nun auf dem Teller, die Schrimps wurden abgezählt und die Kellnerin zwang uns dauernd irgendwelche Vorspeisen auf. Auf die Frage ob hier wirklich alles Halal wäre, antwortete man uns.. alles bis auf das Rindfleisch 😄

Essen wird von Damen zubereitet das auch schmeckt! Preis Leistung passt! Kommen gerne wieder!

Das Essen war akzeptabel geschmacklich gesehen, die Zubereitung sah nicht wirklich hygienisch aus, ohne Handschuhe. Was den Service angeht, so einen schlechten Service hab ich in Deutschland jedenfalls noch nie gesehen. Ich würde nicht nochmal hingehen . Es war positiv das man auch "Halal" essen konnte.

Sehr leckeres Essen und preislich auch ok. Hier gehen auch viele Thais essen also scheint das Essen einen gewissen Ruf zu haben. Ambiente ist nichts besonderes. Es gibt einige vegetarische Gerichte zur Auswahl

The worst Thai food I ever had till date. We ordered chicken fried rice and it was beyond pathetic. I had tried many Thai restaurants across various cities in and outside Germany to find that this is only place where they could manage to cook food in such a way that no one would like it. Restaurants could be stingy in adding more chicken or vegetables but this place was stingy in adding even salt. Basically it tasted like food being served to a hospital patient. We should have guessed it when seeing the only pace without any customers at all at a busy evening but realised that the food is the reason for it. Avoid it and save money, time and love for Thai food.

Personal sehr freundlich Essen ist geschmacklich eine voll Katastrophe die wantang Suppe ohne jeglichen Geschmack . Die Nummer 44 mit exakt 3 kleinen Stücken Hähnchenfleisch. Die Soße bei der 234 gleichte eher einer Suppe als eine Soße. Diesen Laden werden wir nicht wieder besuchen

Für den Preis angemessen. Es gibt unterschiedliche Speisekarten demnach es Getränke (Säfte) mit 400 ml gibt. Geliefert wurden 300 ml. Wie es in der anderen Speisekarte steht. Ein Gericht kostet ca 10 Euro, was absolut ok ist. Es gibt eine Kundentoilette, was mir wichtig war. Nahe am Dom gelegen. Absolut okay.

One of the best Thai food in town. Ordered spring rolls, duck with rice, jasmine tea, and Thai ice tea. They are all delicious and yummy. Price is reasonable. Portions are quite big. Also, this place is Halal. The owner is a Muslim and his wife is Thai. Will definitely go back again to try their phat Thai and Tom yum.

Delicious soup with seafood, vegetables and rice noodle ! But serving female owner was too busy to be kind to guests and forgot to bring spoon and plates after receiving more request. And owner gave very small table located in deep penetralia area in front of refrigerator. But serving boy was very kind. Small food cafe with quick service with low price. Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant. Les plats ne sont pas savoureux , ça ne reflète en aucun cas la cuisine thaïlandaise. Les portions de poulets sont minimes il y avait plus de légumes.

The flavour of the food is not even the authentic taste of Thai. Quite a dull taste. Ordered hot ginger and lemon tea but WITHOUT the tea. Being accused of not paying for the food despite the payment has been made. Truly unacceptable. Took quite some time to serve the food. Food serving was unorganized. The customer who came in later got the food first. Credit or debit card is not accepted. What do they expect if tourists eat there?

Hatte die 89 (Bratnudeln, Gemüse und Ente) plus ein Wasser 13,40€. Essen war sehr gut. Portion groß genug für einen guten Esser und dem Preis angemessen. Nudeln durch, Gemüse knackig, genau richtig, Fleisch zwar etwas zu durch, aber nicht sehr. Einrichtung etwas abgegriffen, aber nicht über die Maße. Wenn ich länger in Köln wäre, würde ich öfter hingehen.

As per my friend, one of few thai places to have halal. So, I was meeting up few friends after a while and since they prefer a halal eatery, thai food am dom is where we met. The staff were rude. They didn't even smile or greet when we entered but thats okay i guess. We were handed the menus during this time the girls and I got a bit chatty and were laughing, ordered drinks, the lady who took our ordered came over to our table and asked us to stop laughing, which was weird, there was one other tables occupied and it felt a bit rude. So the food arrive, we had 84 - satay chicken with some rice and veggies, which was bad. Pad tai with chicken was decent, the rice paper rolls were crisp from the salat and the other vegetables in it, my friend did not enjoy it. But the fruhlings roll were good, since that was the only one all of us liked among what we ordered. The mango lassi was good as well. Not worth the money. Do not recommend this place both for the food as well as the service.

Das Essen Khao Pat Gung war lecker 😋 und war frisch zubereitet . Der Eingang ist Behinderten gerecht. Toilette ist vorhanden. Man muss eine Treppe nach unten laufen. Gruß aus dem Bergischen.

Everything was actually really good! We read the reviews and thought this wouldn't have gone this well. But it did! The only minus points here were for my Tom Kha Gai soup, it was mostly Coconut Milk and not spicy at all. But I asked the waiter to change it and she did, and it also got better, but it still wasn't the way it tastes in Thailand or better Thai restaurants. The main courses were really good and were all the other starters. The other minus point was the interior, not the best looking but still comfy enough for a meal. The service was really good! The lady serving us was super friendly unlike what others say in their reviews, such a sweetheart! Definitely recommend if you're anywhere near the Cathedral!

Tiny restaurant close to Cologne station. Impressed by the taste and fast service. All Orders for our 8-people group was served in 10 minutes. Noodles and rice were both adequately cooked. Flavor and spices were correct. Downside was that they accept only cash.

Met hoge verwachting, in verband met de 4 sterren die ze hebben, gisteren gegeten bij Thai Food am Dom. Een simpel thaifood restaurant met een open keuken. Het eten viel niet bij ons in de smaak. De kai sateh was aan de droge kant en de pikante eend met rijst, curry en kokos was en niet pittig en er zat weinig smaak aan. Verder waren de tafels niet schoon en kon je niet pinnen. De eigenaar maakte, dat wel, de verse ingredienten tot een gerecht. Hij was alleen aan het koken en wokken, waardoor wij de gerechten afzonderlijk kregen 5 minuten na elkaar. Kortom, niet echt smakelijk en zeker geen 4 sterren waard!

Найсмачніша локшина у Кельні. Але обслуговування достатньо непривітне, постійно хочуть чайових, хоча нічого для цього не роблять. Навіть незважаючи на персонал, я повертаюсь сюди за смаком.

The foods are excellent and good. But service are poor. Location is great. The price is reasonable. Good place to have light lunch.
