The quantity and taste are great!

For a restaurant right near the train station, this is truly excellent. We especially enjoyed being able to watch the chef at work. The service was very friendly, thank you. It was our first time there in Cologne, and we had chicken with coconut sauce and udon noodles with chicken. We also had a spring roll as a starter. And the peanut sauce was fantastic. All at a good price. We'll definitely be back.

The food was okay, but the meat was quite cold compared to the pasta. The staff seemed friendly but very forced. Instead of "Spezi" (a German soft drink), they served Mezzo Mix.

The price is affordable, the taste is authentic, and the staffs are hostile. I took away chicken Pat Thai and had it on the train. They asked if I want spicy and added a spoonful of hot chilly sauce/oil. It was super spicy but it was so good!! I often visit Cologne to transfer and I had been struggling to find a good food around the hbf but now I know where to go❤️

The wok was just heating up when we were served. The noodles on our plates were more cold than hot, the shrimp were counted, and the waitress kept forcing appetizers on us. When we asked if everything here was really halal, we were told... everything except the beef 😄

One trip to the toilet costs an extra €1 on your bill!!!!!!!

We bought two different menus. The chicken tasted normal, but it still had a flavor, but the Pad Thai tasted very bland. There was no salty, sweet, sour, or spicy flavor. Truly bland. Then the waiter was very rude. While I was still looking at the menu on the table, he suddenly came over and told me to put the menu back in its place. While I was still looking at the menu, it turned out that we had to leave a tip. The first time I was in Germany, I found a restaurant that required tips. Very disappointing.

Ordered tomyam khai and chiken friend rice. Total came up to 20 euros. The chicken tomyam had 3 slices of chicken, and the rest was mushrooms. The fried rice also only have some chicken. I saw someone ordered rice with beef, and the protein portion was better. Best to avoid the fried rice. Taste was belo average and definitely woulnt repeat here again. Slow service.

The food was just okay, but the service was terrible. The waiter demanded a tip and questioned why I wouldn't leave one. I later found out a tip had been added to my credit card charge without my authorization.

As a big fan of Thai food, I was looking forward to the Green Curry (€15 with shrimp). The menu marks it with three chilies, so I was expecting a good amount of spice. What I received was a very mild, watery curry that was far from authentic and lacked any real flavor. The ingredients seemed fresh, which is why I'm giving it two stars, but the dish completely missed the mark on its promise of being spicy. At this price point, I was expecting more. Offering some chili or fish sauce at the table would have at least helped.

Super good food, nice ambience but persistently asks for tips and gets upset at 1 euro

The waitress came over and we placed our order. There were four of us, and we ordered three dishes, and we got four. Okay, no problem. After eating, we asked for the bill and asked if we could pay by card. And that's when the trouble began. Not only did the waitress try to persuade us to pay cash, but she also started talking about one-off fees that sometimes occur, maybe €2, maybe €3. She decided that was just the way it was. A moment later, she brought a slip of paper with the total amount and how much we wanted to pay... would we leave a tip? Even though we had one extra dish and simply ignored it, we had to pay for it. The lady asked me to go inside with her to pay. She pressed something, and the terminal prompted me for my PIN. She asked me to enter it even though I hadn't even used my card. I had to tell her myself that that wasn't how it worked. The lady spoke very little German, and it was difficult to communicate with her. The food was decent.

I was there in the summer of 2014: after I ordered and received my food (which wasn't bad in terms of taste), no one from the staff came to me, so I couldn't reorder. I waited four hours before the owner came with the bill, as they closed at midnight. Before that, the owner, who was up front, spent the whole time chatting to customers in his Cologne accent (although he's Asian), and ignored me (I tried to signal him). The food may be OK, but the service was simply awful, not to say nonexistent.

The seats are very good. The chicken is halal, but not the beef. However, it's a bit expensive.

A wide selection of Thai dishes. I had a noodle soup 🍜 with roast duck, which was really good. The ambiance is rather austere and could be made much friendlier with simple touches. But as a primarily takeout shop, it's okay. You can also eat outside under covered umbrellas. The service is okay, but not top-notch. The menu is also made up of locals, not just tourists, which is also an indication of the good quality of the ingredients.

Delicious Thai food, although the service was a bit slow. I was sitted after I got into the restaurant but took almost ten minutes to order. The food came fairly quickly after I ordered. Would eat here again!

Worst thai food, I ordered panang curry, but it didn't taste like panang curry at all very dull, more like Chinese curry than Thai curry. For panang curry, the paste must be thick and less water and add peanut sauce to make it creamy taste beside coconut milk... The location is nice

I ordered red curry with vegetables and chicken to go for €13. It was the worst Thai dish I've ever eaten. Anyone can make a better red curry at home using a chef's recipe. The meat quality was absolutely poor, and there was very little of it. The vegetables were rather mediocre. I would definitely advise against it. I'm annoyed that I didn't order the handmade noodles next door and went to this place instead.

I've eaten here many times or taken something to go. But unfortunately I have to revise my previous recommendation downwards. ☹️ The quality and taste are still okay, but the price-performance ratio is now really bad. The portions have shrunk radically, while the prices have increased at the same time. My warm food sat on the counter for almost ten minutes because my summer rolls still had to be prepared. The food was at the right temperature when I arrived at the office (less than 5 minutes away). However, the summer rolls are really good and plentiful. Really weird. 🤷 There are enough alternatives around the cathedral. Too bad.

I love this restaurant so much especially because I like to eat asian cuisine. All the food that we ordered was freshly cooked after we placed the order and it tasted like real asian cuisine. Delicious. Very recommended to visit this restaurant if you looking for Thai food. Order padthai, fish, egg omelette, green curry etc all taste like home, but only take 1 picture

The shrimp pad thai was delicious. The fried rice came with fried chicken/regular chicken, but I got the regular one because there was an extra charge for the fried chicken. It wasn't salty and was good. The reviews weren't good, but I'm satisfied.

As a Malaysian who eat spicy I must say their seafood fried rice is delicious. Flavourful. They prepared chopped chilli and chili paste at the side in case u want extra spicy. I must come back for their tomyum. The owner is friendly too. Glad I found this halal place.

Ordering food was very strange. During the ordering process, the waiter kept running away because he wanted to talk to his colleagues. Then came the food, which was good so far, just very small portions. And it took a relatively long time for it to come. But I also have to say the restaurant was relatively full and they seemed very overwhelmed.

The food was ok; however, I wouldn't consider it authentic Thai food because they use basmati rice instead of jasmine rice, which gives it an Indian flavour rather than a Thai one.

Two adults and two teenagers. The food was marked as medium hot but it was on the lower end of mildly spicy. It was regarded as very good by the entire family.

Wasn't tasty, a crunch in your food that was very tough to break your teeth, and it was not possible to make that dish yourself without this enormous tough mixture!!!??? So no, don't recommend it.

The food had no taste. The noodles bit chewy and has strong egg flavour. The sauce was tasteless. The kimchi was like it has expired 😕. Left the food halfway.

Stumbled on this restaurant, near the cathedral and delighted with the authenticity of the food. Family run, clean, with an extensive menu, with those big Thai flavours. Portions very generous and very reasonably priced.

The food looked completely different than on the menu, instead of fish in pieces I got a whole fish (!) with the head and bones, it wasn't good either, I paid 22.90 instead of 14.90 as on the menu. There were ten of us there, the waitress didn't know who ordered what, I really can't recommend it...

We had dinner here on Saturday evening shortly before 9 p.m. The table was a little slanted on the sidewalk but otherwise everything was great. Nice service, it was super quick and it was really, really good. I eat Thai often and it was really good! Absolutely recommended and really good prices too. We cannot confirm any of the negative recessions here. And yes, you may not work with gloves, but very few restaurants do that :D you just can't see it!

Unfortunately the food was very bad and tasted like frozen food. I ordered two salads, spring rolls and beef skewers. The spring rolls tasted like normal frozen stuff. The salads were simply prepared quickly from leftovers and several limes that were squeezed by hand; the peels were put back into the food. The skewers were very hard and the consistency was similar to chewing gum. When I asked the chef about it, he became abusive and asked me how my mother prepares the food at home. Unfortunately, the waiters didn't speak any German and were dressed as if they were about to go jogging. The local cash register is apparently a Nike fanny pack. I wouldn't recommend this place because I had a stomach ache 30 minutes after eating.

Food was ok, not excellent but not bad. However when paying, the lady try to charge us 10 Eur more, if we had not ask for receipt we wouldn’t not notice the difference. Quite dishonest service.

Never ate so bad Thai Food in my life. I order TomYam soup, he made it with Just warm water and Powder broth, no chicken raw prawn and mushroom. Taste was so bad. Gebraten rice was just with soya souce. And price is tooo expensive. I will never go there again.

Original Thai taste, not too sweet, much better than other Thai restaurants I had in Europe. Neat station and cathedral. The kitchen is clean and tidy. This is the cleanest kitchen I saw in Europe. The food safety is satisfied! I’ll back if I travel to Cologne again.

Been here today & ordered white rice with mix tomyam & ginger tea. Tomyam taste not to the Thailand standard just so so. Very dissapointed payment must be in cash. Card are not allowed even though at the casher this is card machine. Will not recomend to my friends.

The food and stuff tasted good, but it took forever for the food to arrive. It may be that there was more going on than usual, but then they should bring the food at the same time and not in 15 minute increments. Otherwise everything was good, the service was nice and polite. (It is a family restaurant)

Food is fresh, friendly staff. However they got my order wrong 3 times, first i didn't order phat thai but somehow i got it?? Then i didn't ask for cola but the server gave me a cola when i clearly didnt ask for it, then i ordered 2 number 45s but only 1 came.

Very friendly and warm welcome. We were there with 6 people, with a table reservation, told us that it was a birthday party, we spontaneously congratulated and asked for a cell phone so that we could take souvenir photos, just great!!!

The food is simple but good. There is a typical menu. What's a bit annoying is that the kitchen is open in the room. It's quite loud. The restaurant itself isn't exactly "nice" but everyone has to judge that for themselves.

I visited this restaurant twice during my stay in cologne and I certainly will visit this place and mark it as a favourite. I happened to be here looking for a quick lunch during my apprenticeship. I've never forgotten the excellent Pad Thai and haven't had it better since. Brings back memories of that time. Thanks for the great dishes at good prices :) The ambience doesn't invite you to linger for a long time, but the food makes you stay.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Abendessen und kam bei diesem Laden vorbei. Während ich die Speisekarte las, kam eine ältere Dame aus dem Laden und lud mich energisch dazu ein, einzutreten und händigte mir eine Speisekarte aus. Ich ließ mich überrumpeln, und bereute es bald sehr. Das Essen kam schnell, und das ist selten ein gute Zeichen. Weit enfernt von thailändischer Küche wurde eine kleine lauwarme Portion Reis mit frittiertem Gemüse und drei kleinen Tofustückchen serviert. Die Panade war nicht knusprig, das Gemüse war nicht frisch, die Würzung war zu salzig und ganz und gar unthailändisch. Hier wird nicht gekocht, um Menschen ein gutes Essen anzubieten, sondern möglichst viel Reibach zumachen. Traurig.

A little mom and pop shop! We went to this place for a quick sit down dinner before the Christmas markets. We ordered 6 entrees and 2 appetizers and everything was great. I had the Massamann curry and it was delicious! Vegetarian options for my veggie daughter as well (tofu or meatless options). Service was excellent as well. Food was prepared very quickly for such a large order. This place was exactly what we were looking for!

We ordered duck noodle soup for 12 euros and pad thai for 10 euros. The noodle soup tastes good, but the Pad Thai tastes average and not authentic. The service in the store made us uncomfortable and it took a long time to order, but the food was prepared very quickly. Limited space if you're traveling with kids and stroller.

When I came in, I saw a few black people working in the kitchen and I felt something was wrong. Sure enough, the fried Phnom Penh noodles were like Xiamen fried rice but not dry enough. There were too many beef soup and river vegetables. When I asked for a cup of lemon tea, there was no tea! Are you eating rice noodles with two spoons? I had mistakenly received two recommended coupons/tattoos before, so I made sure to know before others that there was a one euro charge for going to the restroom😵He took advantage of him and paid more to go to the restroom. He was so mean! I really can’t compare to even one star👎
