What great results!
Beautiful setting, intimate and subdued feeling. Beautiful table setting and a warm welcome.
Tasty house wine and fantastic food.
But our absolute icing on the cake: what lovely people with a heart for children! Our 4-month-old son became tired and a bit tearful just at dinner time. They came to get him and cuddled and played with him so that we could eat our food for a while. Heartwarming, thank you!!
I spontaneously came here with four friends during the week.
Since the outside seating was too drafty, we were seated in a café that also sells the food.
The shawarma menu was delicious, perhaps a bit too much cumin for me. Very good value for money.
We ordered
1. lemon chicken rice
which has no lemon flavour at all, more like a Chinese Wok, and it’s Very oily. (Eatable)
2. Pad Thai
Worst pad Thai I have ever had …it’s really disappointed. Lots of soy beans are freshly without fried together with noodle and pieces of peanuts are aside which supposed to be crashed and sprinkled on it….the worst part is the noodle is way toooooo sweet, no other flavour at all only sweet !!! I almost feel I am sick while eating it or I’ll be sick from it ….
I love pad Thai so whenever I visited Thailand I always ordered this dish or even in any Thailand restaurant in Europe, I always eat this, and didn’t have any bad experience yet but until today ……
sorry to leave a bad comment but it really really very upset to have bad experiences especially paid money to have untasted food….
3. sushi
Didn’t expect so much since it’s not authentic Japanese restaurant …
Conclusion is don’t recommend at all !!!!!!! Go to the corner eat Korean food or Chinese wok whatever will be better than this one ….
Since the new owners came in it's just sad...
My very brief first experience with the new owners:
1. it already starts with the opening times....just as the mood takes you, apparently, because despite it being stated on the internet that they are open, the shop is closed and the times are a joke compared to before!
2. I had to wait an hour until I got my Pitagyros even though there was nothing going on!!! As long as I didn't even have to wait at the old owners' place where the waiting crowd was up to 100 meters long!!!
3. When my order was finally served, I quickly realized that despite being told that there shouldn't be any tzatziki on the gyro, that's exactly what it came with!! Okay, mistakes can happen, but when I mentioned the mistake and asked for a new pita, they argued with me endlessly that I supposedly ordered that way and they couldn't change it! Wtf?! You wouldn't have experienced anything like that with Stavros in your life, I was embarrassed! He became increasingly unfriendly and was unwilling to show insight and apologize and redo the order! All in all, MY conclusion: entrepreneurial talent and thinking equals 0, social behavior equals 0, ability to take criticism and dealing with it equals 0.0, as you can clearly read in some of the comments here.
4. Flair... you can't think of it anymore, you used to go there with joy, just because of the friendly and extremely hard-working ex-owners with whom you didn't have a conversation every now and then, now it's just a snack bar where you pay a lot for bad service!
5. Will I ever go again?! No! Because it almost brings me to tears what has become of Zacharias! And to the owners, please let your answer stick, you can already imagine what kind of answer will come, namely that I should look for another snack bar, etc. Which, by the way, is also very...well, everyone can imagine! Many thanks to Desphina and Stavros for the wonderful times, you will always remain in our hearts for your warm and hard-working nature and the exquisite service and performance that was offered!
I visited Kimchi and really enjoyed the food. We ordered tofu bulgogi, mandu ramen, gebratene mandu, kimchi jeon, and hotteok for dessert, along with omija tea and apfelschorle. Everything was delicious and the portions were huge for the price – very affordable! The owner/server was super sweet and even gave us free condiments.
The only downside was the self-service system. It was a bit confusing, especially for a big group, since it wasn’t always clear whose order was ready or where the condiments went. Also, they accept only cash, so be prepared.
Overall, highly recommend for tasty Korean food and friendly service!
The food is far too expensive and the individual ingredients are usually soaked in water and soaked to increase the weight. The ambience is at most a canteen atmosphere... no real service. As others tell me, the card reader is constantly broken....... Evil tongues say it has to be that way😜 it's a rogue who thinks that. Greetings from the tax office 😁. I won't go there again and can't recommend it.
