Öz Gaziantep in Aachen

Es ist wirklich ein ganz besonderes türkisches Kebab-Restaurant, und ich kann die traditionellen Suppen wärmstens empfehlen. Am besten probiert man hier auch Pide oder Lahmacun. Hochwertig und besonders lecker. Auch das freundliche Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend.

Wir sind aus Belgien angereist, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend, die Mitarbeiter sind gastfreundlich und das Lokal ist sauber und hygienisch. Ich kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Mein Freund und ich waren am 09.07.2026 dort essen, da meine Mutter und ich eigentlich immer Stammkunden waren. Einer der Kellner nahm dann wie gewohnt unsere Bestellung auf. Als wir unsere Getränke erhielten, merkte ich jedoch, dass mein Ayran total aufgebläht und sauer war, zudem hatte sich darauf bereits eine Haut gebildet. Ich war anfangs noch sehr kulant, da die Tage davor ziemlich heiß waren und so etwas ja durchaus mal passieren kann. Nachdem ich jedoch Bescheid gegeben hatte, meinte der Kellner nur, das Ablaufdatum sei ja noch gut… so als ob er mir unterstellen wollte, ich würde lügen. Ich bestellte mir daraufhin ein neues Getränk, hatte allerdings während des gesamten Essens starke Bauchschmerzen. Als ich dann bezahlen wollte und höflich nach der Rechnung fragte, kam mir derselbe Mann wieder ziemlich unfreundlich entgegen. Er betonte, dass er mir ja angeblich nicht den vollen Preis für mein Getränk berechnet habe. Nachdem ich dann auf der Quittung gesehen habe, dass man für einen einzigen Extra Spieß knapp 14 € zahlt, war mir klar, dass das mein letzter Besuch hier war. Ich bin wirklich extrem enttäuscht.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Qualität war hervorragend. Das Ambiente hat uns ebenfalls gut gefallen und wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Etwas verwirrend war nur, dass ich einen Herrn zunächst für einen Gast gehalten habe und nicht wusste, dass er zum Service gehört. Die Speisekarte habe ich dann von der Kellnerin erhalten. Das war aber nur ein kleines Missverständnis und hat unseren positiven Gesamteindruck nicht beeinträchtigt. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Restaurant weiterempfehlen!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal Döner hier abholen. Die Zubereitung war schnell und die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich. Die Döner sind frisch und lecker. Leider war etwas wenig Soße darauf und es gibt kein Hähnchenfleisch. Die Parksituation ist schwierig, aber man kann mit EC Karte bezahlen. (Juli 2026)

Wir sind schockiert und traurig zugleich. Eine Ära ist zu Ende gegangen. Seit 6 Jahren waren wir Stammbesucher von Öz Gaziantep und haben teilweise bis zu viermal im Monat dort gespeist. Seit 2 Monaten ist die Qualität des Essens rapide nach unten gegangen. Wir versuchen es in ein paar Monaten erneut und suchen uns jetzt erstmal etwas anderes.

Als wir das Restaurant betraten, war dort eine junge Frau, die erst seit Kurzem dort arbeitete; wir möchten ihr für ihren ausgezeichneten Service danken. Die Toiletten des Restaurants waren jedoch schmutzig.

Türkische Küche in einem schicken Lokal mit angenehmem Ambiente.

Das Essen schmeckte gut, aber das Personal war sehr gleichgültig. Der Service war sehr langsam und es war extrem teuer.

Als leitende Angestellte in Istanbul bin ich in Sachen Essen ziemlich wählerisch und schwer zufriedenzustellen. Während meiner 15-tägigen Europareise habe ich viele Restaurants besucht, aber dieses hier war in puncto Geschmack, Qualität, Service und Atmosphäre wirklich unübertroffen. Der Geschmack der Speisen spiegelt die authentische Küche von Urfa und Gaziantep perfekt wider. Die Qualität des Fleisches, der Garzustand, die Frische der Vorspeisen und die Präsentation waren makellos. Der Service war schnell, aufmerksam und professionell – selbst für europäische Verhältnisse. Dies ist keine oberflächliche Bewertung. Als Feinschmecker kann ich mit Gewissheit sagen: Ein solches Niveau an Geschmack findet man in Düsseldorf, Köln und Aachen nur schwer. Von nun an ist dies meine erste Wahl, wenn ich in die Region komme. Es ist ein besonderer Ort, den jeder, der gutes Essen liebt, unbedingt besuchen sollte. Ich kann ihn jedem Leser wärmstens empfehlen.

Da wir nicht aus Aachen kommen sind wir zufällig auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen. Die Bedienung, das Service und das Essen waren sehr gut. Wenn wir wieder in Aachen sind werden wir mit Sicherheit dort essen. Können wir nur empfehlen 👍

Öz Gaziantep ist ein sehr gutes türkisches Restaurant mit authentischen und geschmackvollen Gerichten. Das Essen ist frisch zubereitet, gut gewürzt und überzeugt durch Qualität. Die Portionen sind großzügig und machen satt. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, wodurch man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Insgesamt ein empfehlenswerter Ort für türkische Küche.

Ich esse jetzt seit Jahren dort. Die sterne auch deswegen weil es vorher besser war, leider ist es jetzt uns zum 3 mal passiert, dasS wir unzufrieden raus gegagen sind. Keiner unsere Bestellung kam richtig an, freundlich waren sie nicht. Ab und zu hat ein Mann der keine Schürze an hatte unsere Bestellung gebracht und den anderen falsche info übergeben worauf wir aber es korrigiert haben und dennoch kam es unvollständig an. Aber es lag nicht nur an den Mann davor war das leider auch so wir wollten denen die letzte chance geben und die haben es erneut bestätigt. Ich würde noch einiges mehr schreiben aber ich denk das müsste reichen dass sich dort mal was ändern muss. Wir jedenfalls werden nicht noch einmal dort hingehen.

Wir haben halbe Stunde auf Menemen (für 13,90 Euro) gewartet während alle anderen Tische die sogar später gekommen sind schon ihr Essen hatten. Und es war nicht so viel los wie sonst. Außerdem haben andere Tische wie üblich direkt Brot bekommen während wir extra danach fragen mussten. Çay wurde auch nicht angeboten, während sonst jeder welchen auf dem Tisch hatte.

Die Tagesgerichte sind einfach wie bei Mama. Sehr lecker und original. Der VorspeisenTeller auch sehr empfehlenswert. Fleisch von Grill gut gewürzt und gut gegrillt. Einfach ein toller Laden. Würde am liebsten jeden Tag hier essen gehen.

Hat mir sehr gefallen ich esse da sehr gerne und finde das essen qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Der Service ist auch immer schön und man fühlt sich wohl. Super weiter so.

Keine Hilfe. Leider. !! Diskriminierung!!!! Anderre. Nun ja. Obwohl wir schon 40 Minuten warten. Immer noch nichts. Leider. Normalerweise ist das Essen dort immer gut. Ich habe keinen Salat von der Speisekarte bekommen. Das ist auch sonst üblich. Ich habe sie angesprochen. Ich war ziemlich wütend, aber sie hat alles abgestritten. Und die Parkplatzsituation ist eine Katastrophe!!! Man denkt, man hat einen Platz, aber leider hat man keinen. Und wer falsch parkt, bekommt sofort ein Bußgeld!!

Das Essen war super, meine Frau und ich waren zum Iftar (dem Abendessen im Ramadan) da, aber es war sehr eng und die anderen Gäste waren sehr laut. Ich denke, Essen zum Mitnehmen wäre sinnvoller gewesen. 🙄

Wie kann es sein das die Preise so stark explodieren? Das lässt sich doch nicht mit der Inflation rechtfertigen. Beyti hat mal 11,90€ womit wird gerechtfertigt das es nun 21€ kostet?

Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen! Wir hatten nicht reserviert und mussten deshalb 10 Minuten auf einen Tisch warten. Die Angestellten sind super nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist wirklich köstlich und die Portionen sind riesig! Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder. Vielen Dank!

Zuerst lässt man einen hinein, obwohl alle Tische besetzt sind. Insgesamt haben sie nicht einmal Platz für 20 Personen. Danach muss man mindestens 20 Minuten im Stehen warten. Nie wieder. Die Kellner schauen einen von oben bis unten an, als hätten sie noch nie einen Menschen gesehen. Ich werde dieses Lokal nie wieder besuchen.

Das war vielleicht das beste Kazan Dibi (ein türkisches Dessert), das ich je gegessen habe. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn ich in der Gegend bin.

Der Service: Obwohl es voll war, lief alles reibungslos. Wir mussten nirgends lange warten. Das Personal: Unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich hier wirklich willkommen, was das gesamte Erlebnis aufwertet. Es ist selten, dass alles – vom Essen über das Ambiente bis zum Service – so perfekt ist. Wenn Sie in (oder in der Nähe von) Aachen sind, dürfen Sie dieses Restaurant auf keinen Fall verpassen. Für uns hat sich die Fahrt aus den Niederlanden mehr als gelohnt. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

Menemen was delicious but expensive. Like most German-Turkish restaurants, the only language spoken here is Turkish. You feel like a second-class guest.

Honestly, I wasn't very impressed with this Turkish place in Aachen. The service was friendly and relatively fast. My dish wasn't tasty; the meat was too spicy and over-seasoned for me, even though I asked about it. The restaurant is small, with a modest interior. A customer became ill on the outdoor patio; we saw the contents of his stomach, which instantly ruined his appetite. 😅 I understand it's not the restaurant's fault, but still.

Honestly, this is definitely the best Turkish restaurant in all of Germany for me! The doner kebab is really big for the price, and I often get the grill plate when I go there with friends. All the ingredients are always fresh, and the service is very fast, even when it's busy. The people here are also very nice. I'd gladly go back to Aachen for this 😍

It's not normal to pay €17 for a kebab plate! There were three of us there who just wanted something to eat and thought, "Come on, let's treat ourselves to a kebab plate, 3 ayrans, and a Coke." The total bill was €67.70, which is ridiculously expensive! I later found out a regular kebab cost €10! What's wrong with these businesses? The kebab plate was mediocre, the meat was cold, and the rice was tasty, but the price is outrageous.

It used to be a place I used to go to often, but today I experienced something that bothered me. While we were eating, they lit the coffee at the table next to us to keep the bees and flies away, and we were so sick from the smoke that we couldn't breathe. We told the waiter, but he said he couldn't do anything. We told someone else, I think he was the boss, and after a while, he took it and put it under the table, but the smoke was still coming. We got up from the table and when I expressed my discomfort, the man said okay, okay, and responded with a very disrespectful attitude, as if to tell them to shut up. A business shouldn't disrespect its customers like this. If the coffee they set on to make one customer, someone they know and chat with, is bothering another customer, they should fix this and stop being disrespectful. I won't go there again. Sooner or later, if they continue to act like this, more customers will leave, and eventually, they'll just sit and catch the flies themselves... 🙏🏼

The food is one of the best I’ve ever eaten! Amazing traditional dishes, full of flavour and the taste is excellent. Service is very good, although sometimes the older staff can rip you off a bit if, you don’t speak German or Turkish. Overall a good experience.

I went there on July 8th to get a doner kebab. At €6.50, it was a very reasonable price. The bread was long and quite okay, nothing special. Unfortunately, you could only taste a little of the bread because the vegetables contained a lot of parsley. The taste of the parsley stayed with me throughout my meal. There was no red sauce, only yogurt sauce; that was good, though. The vegetables seemed fresh and were good, too. I particularly praise the distribution. The vegetables and meat were very well layered vertically, and you had a good ratio of meat to salad in every bite from start to finish. The bread also didn't get soggy until the end and held up well during the meal. Overall, I give this place 5.2/10, making it a very average doner kebab.

Today we bought 4 heads of trotters and brought them home. There are a few pieces of meat in them. There is no taste like there is no meat. What you call head and trotters means meat. Normally, I would always buy it from here, but today it misled us, we did not like it at all 👎🏻

We went to this place on the last day of Ramadan. We ordered İskender kebab. It is not clear what kind of meat it was (there were small bones and lots of nerves inside) although there should be butter on top, I asked the waiter if there would be butter, he said there was, we took it and accepted it. But believe me, there was not even a gram of butter in it. The waiters are inexperienced. The manager is inexperienced. We had a completely disastrous meal, they should pray, it was Iftar dinner, I did not raise my voice in order not to create tension and disturb others, but again? Never!

So what can I say here?! On Elsasstr ​​in Aachen there are several restaurants where you can eat and each offers its own cuisine. I particularly like Öz. I mostly eat lamb's head soup, schnitzel and dinner with lamb or something similar, always different. I like to order a lot so that my table is full and I take the rest home (because throwing food away is Haram). That doesn't mean that other restaurants on Elsasstrasse are bad, but for me I really like Öz Gaziantep, as I wrote above. The employees are of course also very nice. Thank you.

Unfortunately, the liver was, in one word, a disgrace. It was burnt on the outside and uncooked on the inside. I've never eaten such bad liver in my life. Its color, smell and taste had changed and it looked like it had been waiting. The membranes of the lungs were not cleaned and there was an intense taste of blood and salt. The kelle trotter was very delicious. Lahmacun had no salt, but it was cooked well. The pita dough was not fully cooked and the taste was not good.
