I ate my way through the entire program during my vacation and was thrilled. Regardless of whether it was a burger, pizza, salad or fries, every dish was freshly prepared and not only looked great but also tasted great. And all of this at a fair price. The young Polish team was super friendly and always in a good mood. Keep it up 👍

We went to the Fackelgarten restaurant in Plau am See today and it was a thoroughly successful visit! The modern, cozy ambience right on the water is really something special, the view of the Elde and the historic lift bridge makes the stay unique. The river terrace in particular invites you to linger, whether for a relaxed lunch or a coffee in the sun. The food was, as always, excellent: fresh, creative, with a regional twist and lovingly prepared. The service was also friendly, attentive and quick; we felt very welcome and were able to simply enjoy ourselves. The menu offers something for everyone, even vegetarians will get their money's worth. Price-performance ratio is absolutely right, and the special flair makes the visit a real experience. A small downside: the delicious bread from Hannes, which we were looking forward to, is unfortunately only available in the evening, and we missed it a little at lunchtime. But that's really complaining at a high level! We will definitely come back and can recommend the Fackelgarten restaurant to anyone who is looking for a special time out in Plau am See. The food was very tasty, fine dining. Everything was lovingly prepared and well-seasoned. We'd be happy to come back.

Fast and customer-oriented service!

We had a very good and delicious meal here. The eggnog dessert with apple compote and vanilla ice cream was a dream.

Yes, what can I say, last year was awesome, we had a really tasty currywurst with fries, and this year it was a bitter disappointment. The currywurst is no longer available and the fries were way too hard and what kind of mayonnaise is that? Full of fat lumps, please get some sensible mayonnaise for fries, it won't work at all 🫤

Came to town around 20:30 and every other restaurant was already closed. Called beforehand, a very nice lady answered the phone, and said they would be extremely glad to serve us. I speak very little German, and the restaurant employees spoke a little English. We were still able to communicate, the service was great and the food was really tasty. As a person from Chicago, I am extremely picky about my Italian food, but the dishes in this restaurant were on point and totally hit the spot. Employees were super nice to us and even with my broken German I felt like I was at home. Highly recommend!

Nice 4 star hotel. The lifting bridge or chicken ladder can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a sauna, steam room and swimming pool. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. Perfect long weekend.

We drank coffee and enjoyed ice cream and apple strudel. We would be happy to come by again. Everything was fine.

We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the May sunshine. Delicious fish, fantastic homemade bread, and attentive service. A definite recommendation, albeit a bit on the expensive side.

Gutes Schnitzel mit Pommes in einer typischen Kneipe, sehr netter Wirt ( und zudem noch originell dabei). Es muss nicht immer ein Schickimicki Restaurant sein, um gut zu essen.

Really? Just avoid the restaurant. Really not worth it! If you think “Pizza, what could go wrong”…. that works here. Too bad. Prices high, quality poor. Service was nice and attentive.

Delivery was smooth and quick. The food, whether burger or crogue, was in the oven for too long, the fries were okay. The difference to Maccaroni & Penne should be practiced again. And a hairnet would be recommended. Maybe better next time.
