Ristorante Pizzeria IL Mondo in Plau am See

I'm here for rehab in Plau and here for the third time. The food is delicious, the service is super nice and the atmosphere is great. When I'm back in Plau, I'll be happy to come back

Today we went to the restaurant with 6 people, which is still within walking distance of the center. We all enjoyed it very much. The atmosphere is beautiful and very cozy. The service also does a great job. We are happy to recommend the restaurant.

There were around 19 people in the restaurant that evening. We were served quickly and nicely. The pizza I ordered was also delicious. Unfortunately, an absolute no-go has crept in when it comes to service. While others at the table were eating, the first plates were already being cleared away. Unfortunately for me that doesn't work at all. This creates some pressure to eat faster. Maybe this was just a blip, but I can only rate this one evening.

We (couple) went to the Pizzeria Il Mondo Essen on a Thursday around 5:30 p.m. during our short vacation in Plau am See. We were the first guests and easily got a table in the dining room. We ordered two pizzas (one with tuna/onion and one with ham). There were also two pilsners. The drinks and pizzas came quickly, preceded by a small greeting from the kitchen. The service was nice and attentive. The pizzas were large, well topped and tasted good to us. However, we found the prices for the pizzas and drinks (e.g. 0.5 Bitburger-Pils 6.50) a little too high. Another negative aspect was that no card payment was possible and this was not communicated beforehand. All in all, we fluctuate between three and four stars.

..when I'm in Plau, I have to stop there, absolutely delicious 😋 It is now compulsory to stop once a month.. 🤤😅

We arrived in Plau today (Saturday) and were looking for a place for dinner on our first exploration. After many bars were either occupied or wanted to close at 8 p.m., we found "il Mondo". We were thrilled! Super tasty pizza, very nice ambience and really perfect service made the first evening in Plau a pleasure. Short example of good service: The bottle of Primitivo that I spontaneously ordered was only offered to us unopened and the price was stated, giving me the chance to decide on an open wine ;-) Perfect service, thank you.

Nice little restaurant with very nice staff. We got a nice place at short notice and ate very well. Absolutely nothing to complain about and we were happy to spend our last evening there.

We ordered a salad and a pizza and found that both tasted bland and unseasoned. The pizza was made from a kind of puff pastry (a bit unusual, a matter of taste) and hardly seasoned. I had to help with salt, pepper and olive oil. Worse, however, was the salad. What little dressing there was didn't taste like anything. We also had to help with vinegar, oil, etc. here.

Nice outside area. Invites you to eat there. We ordered 2 beers 🍻 and a pizza and a carbonara to combat our hunger. While we waited, our eyes stopped, among other things, on the tablecloth. Hui. She had a tough time. Maybe she's afraid of water. There should be. A few years ago (stupid time 🙈) I would have poured a liter of disinfectant on my hands and the blanket. Unsightly, you can definitely do better. The pizza was delicious. Beautiful out of the oven, as it should be. The carbonara however, a nightmare! Why? A real carbonara is made with spaghetti. Do you have. Starchy pasta water and egg yolk ensure a perfect emulsion and a creamy consistency. Plus delicious bacon cubes. Perfectly made and you would “roll” in it. You are far from that. For miles. Cream only has a right to exist in 🇩🇪 (what a word). The ham strips... Nope. Visually and taste-wise... That's nothing. My thoughts when I saw it... Again: Nope. The grated cheese was brought with a sticky, used spoon and a sponge over it. My personal conclusion: add a 5 to the price and conjure up something sensible. I bet your chef would enjoy it more and eat it himself. Good luck.

We can only report good things. Dorade and medallions were great. Service was quick and friendly... when the boss was finished in the kitchen, he came to the table briefly for small talk. Chef had already given us some tips about the place the day before (even though we didn't eat anything) ... as we stood looking at the intersection. Ergo: great!

Delicious, our family visited for the second time today, we love it here.

We were totally satisfied. The pizza was just really tasty and fresh. Children are also welcome there and are served in a friendly manner. The staff is super nice. We'd love to come back.

The food was basically good (homemade bolo, mozzarella on the pizza), but it lacked any taste! The Bolognese didn't taste like anything, there wasn't even salt or pepper on it. The noodles were overcooked. The pizza was completely bland and not crispy at all. My friend had stomach problems for two days after we ate there. Unfortunately a failure!

Service was courteous and attentive, pizza was a bit disappointing, unfortunately the pizza dough wasn't baked crispy enough. The wine was very good and the grappa offered was delicious.

The windowsill next to my seat was covered in dead flies…. To make matters worse, my pizza wasn't really that good either. Had to return it after cutting…. Dough wasn't done. I was served another newly baked pizza, which didn't convince me either...

I wanted to show friends the city of Plau and then grab a bite to eat. Think! At this restaurant you have to pay with cash. Card is not accepted! Have you noticed that it's 2024 and not 1989? Never again!!

We were recommended the Italian and I can say that I can recommend him 101%...super nice service...the drinks were delivered to us quickly...the food was super delicious and the boss himself served the food... Beautiful restaurant with very tasty food. The staff was very nice and attentive and you didn't have to wait long for your food. The only thing you could complain about was the drinks, the cola didn't have that certain something.

Anyone who reads me knows that I review according to the motto of praise and blame. The praise: The terrace in the curve is nicely done and allows the evening traffic to fade into the background. The rest, well, I should keep quiet but others might be disappointed like we were. My dog ​​bowl Macaroni Bolognese al Forno, loveless. Ready meals make you feel fuller. The Tagliatelle Gorgonzola Noci with Garlic had no Gorgonzola and Garlic flavor but firm cream and was garnished with sprigs of parsley like an Advent wreath. The question about pepper brought salt and ground discounter dust that got stuck in the shaker. The four slices of pane, no idea what they went with, were good. The wine is drinkable on average. The pizzas at the neighbors looked good to end on a positive note.

Wir waren die ersten Besucher an diesem Abend und mussten fast 2 Stunden warten, bis unsere Hauptspeise serviert wurde! Die Vorspeise (Rindercarpaccio) war schon nicht gut, eher ein billiger Abklatsch ohne Geschmack; auch die schwarzen Oliven billigste Qualität ohne jeglichen Geschmack. Aber die Hauptspeise (Bandnudeln in Gorgonzola-Sauce) war unter aller Kanone: Schmeckte nach nichts, nur Nudeln in Sahnepampe! Das einzig Positive war, dass das Essen heiß war... Das Ganze für EXTREM stolze Preise, völlig überzogen für diese schlechte Qualität. Sehr schade, dass wir dort nicht mehr hingehen können!

Unfortunately I missed Italian. Noodles were purchased. Sauce tasted more like cream than Gorgonzola. No parmesan cheese was served with the pasta. Maybe if you explicitly ask. I didn't find any bruschetta on the menu. Unfortunately, that wasn't my restaurant.

Not cheap, but worth every penny. Highly recommended

We ate in this restaurant on March 9th, 2024. Food was very good. Ambiance nice and romantic. Respect for the waitress who did it all herself. You can recommend the restaurant.

Angefangen von mit den freundlichen Empfang, bis hin zu der zügigen Bedienung hat uns auch das Essen überzeugt. Wir hatten dieses Mal alle Appetit auf Pizza. Alle fünf Varianten mundeten. Zum Abschied gab es noch eine Heiße Schnapsspezialität mit Sahnehaube.

We had imagined an evening at the Italian restaurant to be a little different. The food was okay, but unfortunately the charm of Italian cuisine was missing. No proper oil for the salad, instead with a “dressing”. Normal pasta dishes without pizzazz… We found the selection of wines particularly bad, Lambrusco & Chianti was the poor selection of open wines, very unimaginative. So the evening went by quickly. Service 1a, you can't fault it at all! Unfortunately you would have had to wear a jacket in the restaurant as it was very unpleasantly cold. It's a shame about such a beautiful shop. Tip from two restaurateurs: a good wine makes you linger longer.

The food is edible, but when you look at the prices it immediately comes back to you. Price and performance are worlds apart... When I think about what you have to pay there and then have to season the food yourself, it's just sad. The service is otherwise really nice, but that can't justify the price either. The other Italians in the area are definitely more recommendable.

The restaurant not only impresses with a diverse selection of delicious dishes, but also with a charming ambience and warm service. Every visit is a real pleasure, absolutely recommended!

Great restaurant. As a precaution, you should always reserve a table. Everything is great, again and again.

Delicious pizzas and great pasta dishes, nice atmosphere

We were there twice on vacation. We ordered pizza salami, spaghetti e olio and margherita. Every dish was delicious and as you would expect. The service was really satisfactory and extremely polite. We were thrilled by the ambience, finally a more relaxed and cozy lighting that creates warmth. We couldn't find anything negative that bothered us personally. Dogs are also welcome. If we come back to the region, we will eat here again. 🙌

Die Pizza ist keine Pizza sondern eher ein Flammkuchen. Für den Preis absolut nicht in Ordnung. Schade!

Essen war sehr gut an beiden Abenden Einer der besten Arrabiatas die ich je gegessen habe. Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Sehr zu empfehlen

Essen schmeckt gut und Ambiente ist drinnen gemütlich, draußen sitzt man direkt an der Straße. Preise bei den Spirituosen sind frech, ein kleiner herkömmlicher Whisky 8,50 €.

Ordentliche Portionen, gut zubereitet, die Preise stimmen

Das Lokal ist in sehr gutem Zustand und die Wände und Säulen nett dekoriert. Aber es sind reine Holztische dort ohne Stoff Tischdecken und Blumen. Bei den Preisen die zu hoch sind wäre das ein muss. Der Service war jedesmal tadellos. Den Thunfisch Salat haben wir natürlich selber angemacht. Die Qualität der Zutaten war ok. Die Penne arabiata war eigentlich nur passierte Tomaten mit Chilli. Das geht auch anders. Eine Pizza war auch nicht besonders.

Draußen an der Straße nicht so schön. Die Pizza ist besonders, weil der Boden sehr flach ist. Definitiv zum Ausprobieren

Wir waren gleich 2x zum Abendessen gekommen. In diesem Ort das einzige Restaurant, welches ohne Vorstellungen Gäste aufnimmt. Service Personal sehr freundlich...Pizza und Co lecker ...Getränke gut gekühlt...Preis Leistung 👍 Was will man mehr...Vielen Dank nochmal. Die 5 Spreewälder

Wir hatten Tagliatelle Gorgonzola e Noci, Pizza Quadro Stagioni und zum Dessert Tatufo. War Alles sehr lecker. Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.

Gutes Essen, freundliches Personal. Wir mussten allerdings sehr lange auf unser Essen warten, obwohl sehr wenig los war. Preise sind sehr teuer. Apfelschorle 0,4 L 5,80€, Bier 0,5 alkoholfrei auch 5,80€.

Aufgrund der vielen guten Bewertungen sind wir zu diesem Italiener gefahren, leider waren wir danach nicht so überzeugt vom Essen. Geschmäcker sind ja verschieden, aber keiner von unserer Gruppe war von seinem Gericht begeistert. Die Pizzen waren eher trocken, kaum belegt und geschmacksneutral. Ich hatte mir ein Nudelgericht mit Sahnesoße ausgesucht, Empfehlung des Tages....leider das auch eher schlecht. Musste mir einen Löffel dazu bestellen, weil die Soße so flüssig war, das sie nicht an den Nudeln blieb. Der Lambrusco schmeckte nach Großmarktwein, hatte aber einen Edelpreis. Für uns stand ganz klar fest, die anderen Tage gehen wir woanders hin.

Wir waren zu Siebt im Restaurant! Die Pizzen waren tendenziell eher trocken und der Teig nicht richtig durchgebacken! Belegt waren sie sehr gut! Die Spaghettisoße war nach Gefühl nicht frisch zubereitet und hatte eher Tütenchaeakter! Insgesamt für die Gesamtrechnung enttäuschend. Der Service hat noch nicht Mal gefragt wie das Steak zubereitet werden soll 🤔 Hatten mehr erwartet.

Nettes Lokal. Wenigstens bekommt man hier nach 2100 noch etwas zu essen. Eigentlich sollten sie daher 10 Sterne bekommen. Das ganze Dorf ist tot ab 1800 Uhr.

Veldig tynn pizzabunn som minnet om tortillalefse, alt for mye spekeskinke, parmesanen var ikke god og ikke spesielt god service. Kelneren virket irritert på oss for at vi ikke kunne tysk og snakket mer tysk enn engelsk til oss. Veldig overpriset mat og drikke, ikke til å anbefale.

Super Location mit sehr nettem Personal, essen unterirdisch, selbst die Pizza unterdurchschnittlich: sah super aus, aber geschmacklich enttäuschend, Fertigteig und kein schmackhafter Belag.

Dressing für Vorspeisensalat ist geschmacklich schwach. Ebenso die Pizza, die nicht mal Parmesan sondern nur anderen billigen Ersatzkäse enthielt. Und die Preise sind am härtesten. Bier 5,80, Pizza 17.00 Euro ist schon grenzwertig. Vorspeisen 18.00 Euro ist meiner Meinung nach schon unverschämt. Service war sehr nett.

Sehr schlechter Service. Geschirr wurde abgeräumt obwohl noch am Tisch noch gegessen wurde.

Die Kellner waren alle super lieb, das Ambiente wirklich sehr hübsch, einladend & gemütlich. Ich hatte eine Pizza sowie meine Freundin ebenfalls, leider waren wir mit dieser vollkommen unzufrieden. Optisch wirklich sehr gelungen & schön anzusehen aber leider auch nur das. Der Teig war viel zu dünn hart & knackig, von luftiger & Lockerheit keine Spur. Für das was ich dort geboten bekommen habe war der Preis vollkommen ungerechtfertigt & viel zu überzogen. Die Atmosphäre stimmte allerdings😃

Leckere Pizza, schöne Sonnenterrasse, sehr freundliche Bedienung; etwas störend die Hauptstraße, aber da hat man immer etwas zu gucken.

Leider, hat es uns dort überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. vielleicht sind wir auch zu verwöhnt!!!! Wir fanden die Pizza überhaupt nicht gut!!

Essen war unter aller Sau…Tomatensuppe war wie schlechter Tomatensaft aus dem Tetrapack…Nudeln waren eingelegt in einer Mehlpampe…Pommer total laprig und versaut ..Oliven schlechter geht es nicht ..Überbacken mit Käse war wohl auch nicht mehr drin ..Danke und nie wieder ..
