La Casa Restaurant in Plau am See

100% recommendation! I was on vacation in Plau am See and ate in this restaurant on two evenings. Both times it was fantastic 😀 Especially the food! 1st time: "Penne Gentile" - I have rarely eaten something so delicious! 😀 Penne with dried figs, walnuts in a curry orange cream sauce. A chef's own creation; fruity, crunchy, sweet and spicy at the same time. A taste experience! 😀 2nd time: "Pizza super Speziale" - with crabs, scampi, rocket and parmesan. Another taste experience for me 😉 Baked in a stone oven, the base is thin, crispy edges, and despite the size I was able to eat the entire pizza because it was simply light. Decoration and variety of flowers on the terrace created a nice ambience; Waitress, boss (or employee?) and cook were very friendly; and the food always came in a timely manner, even though it was very busy on my second visit. I also found the moderate prices and possible card payment very pleasing.

Staff friendly. Pizza base very thin (a good thing for me personally). The BBQ pizza was a bit sparsely topped, but tasty and completely filling. It was bigger than the plate it was on. Afterwards I was full!😊

I ate the pike perch fillet with parmesan crust and caper sauce as well as a side dish of rosemary potatoes (I think the 104). It was absolutely fantastic. The best savory thing I've eaten out in years. UNFORTUNATELY I forgot to take a photo. That and will come back if I'm in town again.

We ate there as a couple. The reception was very friendly. The order was received quickly. For the main course we order spaghetti and Scaloppa Buffalina. Bruschetta as a starter. The waiting time was short. Class! The food (starter and main course) was TOP. Likewise the salad. Fresh and crunchy. Compliments to the kitchen 💪🏻

Pizza is very large, a bit poorly topped and the dough is as thin as a tarte flambée. When it gets colder it's like a crispbread on the outside. Because once you think about the dough, it tastes good. Staff very friendly and really on the ball

Pretty little Italian restaurant in beautiful Plau am See. The food is excellent and the service is unbeatable. We'd love to come back.

Dirty glasses and cutlery, staff inattentive, (desired) dessert was no longer available and the sink in the women's toilet was clogged. Pizza was ok. All in all, not worth another visit for me.

Very nice service staff. The food was very tasty and came quickly. I can totally recommend the Penne Da Vinci (with blueberries).

Waiting forever, none of the waitress felt it necessary to interrupt their chat and so left hungry after a reasonable amount of time

A family run pizzeria with excellent food. Everything is perfect here, from the flowers on the tables to the service. The pizza is literally mind-blowing. The price/performance ratio is good.

We ate at La Casa spontaneously and without a reservation. The staff was very friendly, we were served quickly and didn't have to wait long for our food. Our selected dishes were very tasty and more than enough. We would come here again at any time.

Unfortunately, they weren't prepared for guests on a Saturday evening. We sat in the garden, which unfortunately wasn't prepared, tables dirty, umbrellas closed, the Aperol was warm, served with plastic straws and not tasty either. Still wanted to eat there. A grill plate for two. Unfortunately the chef doesn't do that anymore. But we could have gotten two grill plates. And we didn't understand the meaning, so we went somewhere else

Even after 8 p.m. you can still get very tasty food here. We had pasta with strips of roast beef. The meat was sensationally prepared. It melted in your mouth. A culinary delight!!! It's worth walking a few meters further from the city harbor.

We had dinner there with our friends and were warmly welcomed. The service was good and the food was tasty. First we received a little greeting from the kitchen, which we enjoyed. All 13 dishes were served at the same time. We can recommend the restaurant

Went here because of the many positive reviews. We made a reservation and, although the restaurant was almost empty, we were seated at a table next to the bar with a loudly humming refrigerator. Food and drinks came quickly, unfortunately the Alster was quite warm. The waiter probably didn't have his best day... at least friendliness and hospitality look different. You probably would have had to pay extra for a smile...everyone has a bad day, but you shouldn't let that show so clearly! The food itself: pork with chanterelles was good, the chanterelles weren't canned. The pizza was huge and very crispy, which is actually good. However, the crust in particular was more like crispbread, i.e. very dry and crumbly, and the dough also lacked salt, so that the otherwise very good pizza unfortunately tasted rather bland. When paying: The waiter asked HOW we wanted to pay. When we said with EC card, he said, as usual grumpy, can't you accept cash? Yes! Card payment costs the restaurateurs fees, but either I communicate BEFORE if card payment is not desired/possible and 2. one could have at least asked that politely, not as if it were almost impertinent to pay by card. Conclusion: We won't come here anymore!

Huge pizza (goes over the edge) with a wafer-thin, crispy base. The staff is also very friendly and willing to talk to you. Perfect after a long day, especially since the other options for dinner here are very few and far between.

We went there to eat as holiday guests because we were in the mood for Italian that day. Very friendly service, excellent food and very good value for money. The ambience (we sat on the cozy terrace) was not unusual but cozy and appealing. It was all the more surprising to us that, despite the beautiful weather, we were the only guests on this warm early summer day.

It was our first time here and it was super tasty. Simply recommended. Next time we're on vacation we'll definitely come back here. Great praise

Unfriendly restaurant we have ever experienced. Loveless, boring food (no bread with the salad), dingy atmosphere (heaters probably haven't been cleaned for a long time). Not recommended for visiting with children. Card payment only possible with complaints about high fees. The unfriendly and unhospitable nature actually costs the host money rather than the fees for card payments. Most of the reviews here don't match our experience at all. All we can say is stay away. Reply to comment: With 2 small children without high chairs, it is unfortunately inevitable that the tablecloth gets damaged. The answer therefore speaks volumes.

After ordering the drinks, it took 35 minutes for the drinks to arrive. After ordering the food (with an appetizer for 3 adults) we waited another 55 minutes! When asked, another 15 minutes (we then took action again and said that the starter could please be served together with the main course). By now everyone was hungry. Then the main course came and 1 starter was forgotten - no matter. We were looking forward to delicious food. Unfortunately, the dishes were not tasty and very sober. The carbonara didn't consist of cheese etc. but almost exclusively of cream. We then added salt and pepper. The pollo al lime e funghi was also tepid. Unfortunately, the others in our group didn't like it either. With a total of 6 adults and 4 children, we also had pizzas and pasta etc. All in all, the service and the food were really bad. I can't put it any nicer. The Google review found here doesn't fit at all. But that may be the case in some holiday resorts.

During my vacation I dined there five times, each time without a reservation. The food was always excellent. The price-performance ratio and the service is very good.

Stopped in spontaneously and was lucky to get a spot. Advance reservation recommended! Waiting for what we ordered didn't require much patience. The timing was perfect for us! The pizza had plenty of toppings, looked MEGA and was therefore delicious! The pasta was cooked to perfection. The sauce was Italian delicious. Everyone was full! We thought the costs were reasonable for the average wallet. If you prefer “premium”, go a few meters further. ...but then pays correspondingly more. We were more than happy with our choice. No matter what was offered a few meters more, for us the prices were outrageous. We will prefer "La Casa" again as soon as the opportunity arises.

Found a beautiful Italian restaurant on Sunday after a long search. We were greeted warmly, ordered food and less than 10 minutes later everything was on the table, great to come back

The food was excellent. The portion (had a pizza) was very good and the taste was first class. Ambiance is a bit old, but not too bad. The cook/pizza maker was very friendly and tried hard, the service staff did their job but at least apparently didn't enjoy it very much, but that wasn't a tragedy at all. Conclusion: can be recommended :)

Years ago, the restaurant was attractive but now it is run down. The artificial leather chairs are cracked and partly broken. The food wasn't good. My husband's food was too salty and my penne with fillet and wild mushrooms was terrible, the meat was bland and the mushrooms had no taste and no consistency. Not recommendable.

Cozy Italian restaurant in the style of an osteria. The greeting and seating instructions were quick and friendly, as was taking the order: a Parma pizza and a beer. As an appetizer there was a very aromatic, juicy bruschetta. The pizza was served a short time later. First impression: Dough rather thin and crispy like a Roman pizza, very tasty. Aromatic tomato sauce, cheese with the desired consistency and fresh and generous amounts of toppings. Rocket is fresh and not too early, hand-shavings of parmesan, ham is very good, not too salty. Refined with a little olive oil at the table, which was of remarkable quality for a table oil. Overall, a completely randomly selected hit with a harmonious overall package at a very reasonable price. No weaknesses in the service: very friendly, attentive and genuinely interested. I can fully recommend it for pizza.

Last night at short notice I spontaneously decided to go in for the first time and order a Pizza Bianca to take away because I was very hungry. Staff top helpful everything good 👍 But when I got home and looked at it...speechless I have eaten several pizzas in different restaurants and pizzerias but I have never eaten one like this. This is not what I imagined or expected...songs Personally, when it comes to food, I don't recommend it, that's my opinion and I won't go there again. Otherwise I wish you all the best.

From the outside, the building doesn't look very inviting at first glance. But the entrance is on the side and there is also an outdoor area for the summer. Inside it is nice and spacious. The service is good and the food is delicious. Unfortunately there was no dessert because it was already empty. But a delicious café. Were there even in the off-season. Vegetarian is possible, vegan is not.

We ate there for the second time today. It was again very nice food and great service. Unfortunately I can only give 5 stars for the food - it deserves more. We will be back.

Meine Frau und ich haben einen Roadtrip von der Schweiz nach Deutschland gemacht. Wir besuchten einige alte Freunde in Plau am See. Unsere Freunde empfahlen uns, in diesem großartigen italienischen Restaurant zu Abendessen. Obwohl wir keine Reservierung hatten, wurden wir vom ersten Moment an herzlich willkommen geheißen. Das warme Ambiente mit seinem rustikalen Dekor und der sanften Beleuchtung fühlte sich an, als würde man das Haus eines lieben Freundes betreten. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich. Sie sind aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich, begeistern sich für die Küche und geben einem das Gefühl, ein geschätzter Gast zu sein. Wir waren überrascht, als sogar der Chefkoch selbst kam, um sich zu erkundigen, ob uns das Essen schmeckte. Apropos Essen: Wir hatten sehr schmackhafte Pasta, natürlich al dente, mit einer sehr nuancierten Sauce. Obwohl ich versuche, nach 17:00 Uhr keinen Kaffee mehr zu trinken, konnte ich am Ende nicht widerstehen einen guten Espresso zu trinken. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass dieses Restaurant authentische italienische Aromen, authentische Gastfreundschaft und eine tolle Atmosphäre bietet. Wir werden es auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen!

Netter kleiner Italiener mit typischer Speisekarte. Vom Fleisch, über Pizza bis zu den Nudelgerichten war alles sehr lecker. Wir saßen in der nähe der Bar und somit auch leider in der nähe des Getränkekühlschranks, welcher leider störend laut war. Gut haben wir ertragen, das Essen ist lecker und das ist das wichtigste.

Die Spaghetti waren nicht frisch gekocht sondern aus der Mikrowelle und sorgte für Sodbrennen & Bauchschmerzen. Dazu kam das es nicht gewürzt war. Die Pizza wurde kalt serviert und hatte ebenfalls kein Geschmack. Die Atmosphäre des Restaurant ist ganz in Ordnung , die Bedienung ist trotzdem sehr freundlich. Dennoch ist dieses Restaurant nicht zu empfehlen.

Sitzt dort sehr schön draußen oder auch drin. Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam. Preise für heute sind normal. Essen schmeckt super. Würde immer wieder gerne hingehen. Waren im Urlaub im Ort. Bruschetta gibt es als kostenlose Vorspeise. Auch das schmeckt toll.

Von außen eher unscheinbar, aber ein sehr schöner Garten in dem man sitzen kann. Preis Leistung ist top und essen war top. Es gibt sogar leckeres Bruschetta als Vorspeise, Wir waren im Urlaub und es wurde schnell voll. Reservierung ist sicher zu empfehlen in der Ferienzeit.

Das Essen schmeckt hier gut. Wir waren mehrfach hier und vom Essen nie enttäuscht. Beim Ambiente sollten sich die Betreiber aber genau solche Mühe geben: der Außenbereich lässt sich doch schnell und einfach liebevoller gestalten. Fensterbank abwischen, die alte Schubkarre weg, denn die ist nicht antik sondern Schrott, was da sonst noch so rumliegt mal aufräumen, vielleicht eine Pflanze vor den kaputten Backofen stellen und den Garten pflegen. Dass der Außenbereich nicht schön ist, hatten wir auch von den Nachbartischen hören können. Hier kann man noch richtig was Schönes und Gemütlicheres draus machen! Man muss es nur umsetzen. Das soll kein Meckern sein, sondern vielmehr eine wirklich ehrlich gemeinte Kritik :-). Viel Erfolg und wir wünschen alles Gute!

Riesige sehr leckere Pizzen ,auch die Pastagerichte sind sehr gut. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.

Wir waren in Plau im Urlaub und haben im La Casa den 15 .Geburtstag meiner Tochter Gefeiert. Ich kann nur sagen das alles Perfekt war. Der Tisch war mit sehr viel liebe eingedeckt. Das Essen,Ambiente und der Service waren sehr gut.Wir sind glücklich und sehr zufrieden gewesen. Danke an das la Casa für die netten Stunden die wir bei euch verbringen durften.
