Normality still reigns here. Delicious 😋 food at a normal price, beer 🍺 freshly tapped, and a double shot of schnapps. And the staff are really nice. We'll be back tomorrow.

A very positive impression. The food was excellent and tasty. The service was perfect. The host was relaxed and "special."

The food was cold and we waited an hour and a half for it, and then the salad was already salty. We weren't even completely out of town yet. You already get stomach cramps. People, just leave it alone. Don't eat there, it's a dirty place.

Unfortunately, there was a heated argument between two employees (?) that day, so guests were able to witness it firsthand. That's just not what you do. Not only the ambiance, but also the food suffered. I only gave it stars because the service was so friendly.

Good German cuisine. Everything is freshly prepared. The boss always has a cool saying on her lips. I highly recommend it. We were here 7 years ago and have been back again. All I can say is: Always again. Keep up the good work.

We were there with five adults and a small child. The service was very friendly. We personally thought the food was excellent; there was nothing to complain about. The draft beer was a bit old, as it wasn't particularly clear. Otherwise, everything was fine. The atmosphere was more like a local pub or meeting place for the locals. Nevertheless, we would gladly come back.

Just awesome! Was there yesterday and was absolutely thrilled. You start a conversation. The price-performance ratio leaves nothing to be desired. At least not for me. The innkeepers are excellent. I would definitely like to come back. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food because I didn't eat there, I just drank a few beers. Keep it up people. You are a great team! 👍 👍 👍 👍

Ambient disaster. All clothes smell like chip fat. The service is super friendly and always good for a joke. We ordered 2 schnitzels which were okay. OK. No longer! The fried potatoes were also fine. Fries could have used new fat but the hunter's sauce was an imposition. All in all not recommended!

Sorry that was nothing... really bad value for money. The schnitzels were so small that even our daughter couldn't get enough. In addition, the schnitzels only tasted like fat. The fish and the croquettes were fried to death.

We were on holiday here and came across this quaint restaurant by chance. Affordable prices and very friendly service. The dishes are freshly prepared and are real home cooking. In this restaurant you can eat cheaply and well. You have to go there if you are in Plau am See.

Anyone who knows and likes good village pubs has come to the right place. Everything was great.

Atmosphere like in Eastern times and food like at home. We were looking for good food at fair prices and found it here. Gladly again ! REALLY A SECRET TIP.

For me it's a real insider tip... we ended up here by chance... you feel like you've been transported back to your youth... the food was absolutely delicious... and the entire concept is harmonious...

Almost before the kitchen closed, I was able to order and not only get full, but also find a cozy spot outside and a fabulous conversation partner. Unfortunately, I “lost” him again just as quickly ☺️

We spontaneously ate here today and were thrilled. From the initial euphoria to the great pricing, the nice service and the passable rating on Google, we were disappointed by the (literally dusty) ambience and the carelessly prepared and not so tasty food. The drinks were served quickly and cool. While we were waiting for our food, we were happy about the knocking noise for the schnitzel, and we were also amazed at the sound of the microwave ringing in the kitchen. When the food was finally served, we were quite disappointed: the presentation and the taste left a lot to be desired. We ordered schnitzel with hunter's sauce - once with fries, once with fried potatoes. The schnitzel and the potato side dish were delicious - the meat was juicy and you could taste that it was freshly prepared. But the sauce...: Is there only one standard basis for the hunter and “gypsy” sauce?! Our mushroom sauce was also sour - you wondered if it was bad. According to the kitchen, another chef prepared the sauce and he always cooks it differently - with tomato paste and other spices - which the waitress and the cook who was there that day cannot fully understand. But the house recipes should actually be agreed upon, right?! Unfortunately we won't be coming back again - it's a shame!

Wir waren auf Durchreise und haben uns für dieses Lokal aufgrund der hier abgegebenen Bewertungen entschieden. Wie hier eine Bewertung von 4,3/5 Sternen zustande kommt, ist uns in jeder Hinsicht unerklärlich. Beim Betreten des Lokals, hätten wir auf unser Bauchgefühl hören und sofort auf dem Hacken umdrehen sollen. Wir ließen uns aber aufgrund der durchschnittlichen Bewertungsnote blenden und bestellten. Tisch, Bank, Ablagen und auch die Speisekarten waren dreckig und verstaubt. Der Service ließ eine freundliche Begrüßung und Verabschiedung zu wünschen übrig. Von den sanitären Anlagen möchte ich erst gar nicht berichten. Wie viele hier vorher schon geschrieben haben, klingelte die Mikrowelle am laufenden Band, was sich dann auch in der Qualität der Speisen widerspiegelte. Fertigprodukte, Fertigsoßen und TK-Ware sind hier an der Tagesordnung. Wir sind keine Leute mit hohen Ansprüchen, aber selbst als Hobbykoch, koche ich hier besser, frischer und gesünder. Schade und ein Armutszeugnis für ein „Restaurant“ in bester Lage in diesem schönen Ort.

Wir waren 2x in unserem Urlaub hier essen. Beim ersten Besuch, gute Hausmannskost, netter Wirt. Beim 2. Besuch war deutlich mehr los, das hat sich im Service deutlich bemerkbar gemacht, wir wurden nicht bedient. Ich habe die Bestellung selbst am Tresen aufgegeben und wir haben ca. 45.min auf das Essen gewartet! Die bestellte Currywurst war eine Bratwurst, denken die man merkt sowas nicht? Die 3 Sterne, sind dem ersten Besuch zugeschrieben, der 2te Besuch bekommt 0 Sterne!

Ich vergebe hier die volle Anzahl an Sternen, da uns das kleine Restaurant sehr gefallen hat, die Bedienung ist sehr nett und immer für einen kleinen Scherz zu haben, die Speisen werden vor Ort frisch zubereitet ☝️ und die rustikale Einrichtung lädt einfach nur zum verweilen ein 👍 wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder dort einkehren 🙂

Perfekt gebratenes Schnitzel und sehr leckerer Fisch, außerdem hat das Restaurant eine schöne, uhrige Atmosphäre. Allerdings sind die Portionen recht klein, von denen man nicht richtig satt wird.

Das kulinarische Erlebnis in diesem Restaurant weicht stark von den Bewertungen hier ab. Die Gaststätte lockt mit gutem Hausmannskost, doch im Endeffekt haben wir die gesamte Zeit die Mikrowelle klingeln gehört. Das berühmte klopfen aus der Küche habe ich auch wahrgenommen doch anscheinend wurde dort kein Fleisch geschlagen. Wir sind mit großem Hunger angereist und mit Bauchschmerzen und immer noch leeren Magen abgereist. Das sie sich als Restaurant bezeichnen ist eine gaunerei sie sind eine Bar mit einem Geruchsbild das sich die lungenflügel umklappen. Ich möchte dort nicht nochmal essen Kellnerin war aber sehr sympathisch:)

Preis Leistung sind super. Kleine rustikale, regionale Karte. Sehr lecker. Personal freundlich.

Bratkartoffeln mit Brathering und Bratkartoffeln mit schnitzel mit Rahmchampions, und extra Salat. 2 Getränke unter 35 €. Wirklich lecker und extrem preiswert. Gemütlich Atmosphäre und super nettes Personal. Werden in unserem Urlaub garantiert nochmal hingehen. Ab 17 Uhr parken vorm Restaurant auch kostenlos möglich.

Sehr nette ursprüngliche "Kneipe". Es ist urig und das Essen ist lecker. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist perfekt. Der Wirt ist immer für einen Spaß zu haben. Eine Reservierung ist dringend zu empfehlen.

Super lecker Essen :Fisch und frisch zubereitetes Schnitzel (man konnte das Klopfen aus der Küche hören). Sehr freundliche Bedienung, die Getränke und das Essen kamen sehr schnell, obwohl es gut besucht war.

Sehr gemütliche Wirtschaft am Marktplatz Nähe Stadtkirche, in der man auch mal echte Plauer Leute trifft. Wir wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen und konnten hier auch nur zum Getränk stoppen. Einwandfrei, waren für eine Woche zum Angeln dort oben . Wir haben geschaut , wo die einheimischen Hingehen , hat gut gepasst , essen war gut ! Wirt ist ein netter Kerl, die Stammgäste auch ....sollte ich wieder den weg aus Bayern da hochfinden , geh ich wieder rein

Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Bedienungen waren auch sehr freundlich. Insgesamt war das Essen preiswert. Wer also nach einer guten Hausmannskost sucht, ist hier genau richtig!

Wir sind wirklich nicht anspruchsvoll, aber ein Essen sollte nett zubereitet werden und geschmacklich etwas hergeben... Leider war nichts von dem geboten und wir können das Restaurant nicht weiter empfehlen. Als Positiv möchten wir jedoch die Freundlichkeit des Personals erwähnen.

Kleine Kneippe mit Stammkunden. Essen sehr gut ! Kneippe war zwar voll aber wir waren nach 1h wieder draussen satt und sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen! Alles auf der Speiserkarte Hausgemacht! Selbst die Remulade!
