Nice little restaurant. Good selection of food & drinks. Unfortunately, the food was only ok, perhaps due to the kitchen closing time. The pike perch on the sauerkraut was completely tasteless. Ok, it was an experiment for us in which we didn't understand the combination in this form. The service was great, very friendly and helpful. Hopefully there will be the remaining stars on the next visit.

During our vacation week in September we tried Zeisler's dining room on Tuesday. The result: We ate there four times a week. The ox cheeks were absolutely tender, as was the pork fillet. The zander fillet with sauerkraut is fried until very tender, and the almond balls go particularly well here. All the other dishes we tried were also very tasty! Zeisler's Kuddelmuddel is good as a starter (we ate it as a couple), but can also be recommended as a main course if you're not too hungry. Overall, a reasonable selection of food and drinks of a good standard. The portions are really not too small. The prices are absolutely ok.

Three years ago the two of us had dinner here and were satisfied with the service and quality. We had invited relatives there and wanted to enjoy the evening there with five people. The disappointment was even greater and we couldn't understand how a restaurant could run so badly in three years. After taking a seat at the table, we were handed menus and about 5 minutes later we were asked about our wishes. Wine, water and food were ordered. After another 5 minutes, we still had no drinks (!), three Wienerschnitzel orders were delivered without fries. It was quicker here than in any kebab shop, we would have liked to have sat for a while and toasted with the wine, which we expressed and pointed out to the service staff. The other two dishes and the fries arrived immediately. A few minutes later, the head of the house appeared from the kitchen and loudly accused us, coram publicum, of our behavior and that we were no longer welcome as guests here. About the quality: Zander fillet and ox cheeks were okay, the savoy cabbage with it was hard and e.g. T. still raw. The schnitzels were not good, breading not crispy, flabby and thick like elephant skin. We found the meat by chance. It was tough, had no flavor and a consistency like cooked. Fries were soft, not even crispy and the tomato salad had no dressing. After 3 forks the Schnitzel plates were returned and the table was covered. Without asking, we received the bill even though the wine bottle was still half full. 191€ for nothing or an extremely disappointing evening that didn't last longer than 1/2 hour in the restaurant. The service employee was very nice, attentive and friendly, the misery was managed by the boss from the kitchen. They probably wanted to occupy the table a second time in the evening. What a shame! PS: No soap or paper was refilled and available in the men's room.

Insgesamt ein angenehmer Besuch in schöner ruhiger Lage, abseits von Touristenströmen. Die Speisen waren schmackhaft, geschmacklich hätte ich in der Preisregion und eigenen Beschreibung etwas mehr Extravaganz erwartet . Die Portionen sind äußerst üppig, meiner Meinung nach fast zu groß. Unser Kellner war leider etwas nachlässig und hat einige unserer Wünsche vergessen, aber jeder hat mal einen schlechten Tag. Ambiente direkt am Wasser und in ruhiger Straße waren super!

Even after a year, it's still the best food, not just in Plau am See. The cuisine here is really very good and unpretentious. Still worth every cent. And the location on the canal is also beautiful. Still the best local address in 2024!

Schönes Restaurant an einem kleinen Kanal in Plau sehr schön gelegen und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sehr aufmerksamer nett und freundlicher Service. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir hatten Steinbeißer mit Pestonudeln, Kartoffel vegetarisch und mit Hühnchen bzw. Kalbsschnitzel. Vorweg gab es eine leicht schärfere Ingwer-Karottensuppe und Bruschetta. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

A small, fine, culinary pearl somewhat hidden in the small Plau. The map is clear, which speaks for quality. The food is great! The location is beautiful on the canal, the service is very nice and takes into account the wishes of the guests. Happily gone again! Thank you very much!

(Almost) everything is right here! The ambience is above average and the service is great! The children received their red/white fries in no time. The food was great, only my fish 🐟 wasn't quite cooked in one place or another. But that will probably happen. Otherwise really great!

If, despite your choice, you go to the same restaurant three times during a week's stay, then everything must be right there. And that's how it was for us. The selection of fish is limited with zander and rockfish, but both are offered in different variations. But it's so tasty and well seasoned, with matching side dishes. In addition, heart-refreshing and friendly service and a short waiting time for the food you ordered. The prices are reasonable. Full five stars in all categories and fully recommended!

We were pleased with very tasty food, good non-alcoholic drinks and friendly and humorous staff. The vegetarian and vegan dishes were also impressive.

We had a wonderful filet and great service. A courageous chef who politely asserts himself even against the wrong guests. We'd love to come back.

Very pleasant atmosphere, delicious food, good service...

Unfortunately we weren't satisfied. Baked potato was cold, went back. The new baked potato was actually 3 degrees warmer. To be on the safe side, the waiter didn't ask if everything was OK, and they didn't pay any attention to us until we got the bill. We definitely won't be coming back!

Top local! A few steps away, idyllic location, top service and delicious food, generous portions, the price is more than justified! There's absolutely nothing to complain about and it's an absolute recommendation that I'm happy to pass on. Keep it up !

Very high quality food in an idyllic location in Plau. We recommend! You don't eat from a standard menu here. Behind Kuddelmuddel there is a cake stand with delicious snacks. Highly recommend the vegetable curry - a treat even for non-vegetarians! The ox cheeks were wonderfully tender and came with a fantastically delicious sauce! Very nice and attentive service, and when the weather is nice it's nice and quiet to sit on the terrace by the river.

We visited the dining room today and were amazed at how delicious it was. The service was also super friendly - we can recommend the dining room... The seating outside is a matter of taste, we don't think it suits the high-quality food...

Were there for the wedding anniversary and were warmly welcomed, served and accompanied through the evening. Service was first class as was the food. Starter very tasty, steak on point and the side dishes were plentiful and tasty. A very successful evening where even the table decorations were lovingly set for the occasion.

Das Restaurant ist nicht nur sehr schön gelegen, es ist auch geschmackvoll eingerichtete!Die Bedienungen sind alle sehr freundlich und der Inhaber ist nicht nur Deko sondern kocht auch noch selbst! Und das macht er RICHTIG gut! Es ist ein etwas teureres Restaurant aber wirklich jeden Cent wert! Die Portionen sind sehr groß und Geschmacklich ist es wirklich eine wahre Freude!Es wird einfach mit Liebe gekocht und diese Zutat kann man ja bekanntlich nicht kaufen! PS: ich ertränke Essen immer mit Soßen, hier habe ich den Ketchup nicht mal angerührt, weil das Fleisch so lecker war!Das ist noch nie passiert 😉

The restaurant is not only beautifully located, it is also tastefully decorated! The waitresses are all very friendly and the owner not only decorates but also cooks himself! And he does it REALLY well! It's a slightly more expensive restaurant but really worth every penny! The portions are very large and the taste is truly a delight! It is simply cooked with love and as we know, you cannot buy this ingredient!

I had asparagus with a fish. It's been three weeks. It probably wasn't very convincing. I can't remember what fish I had. Hollandaise sauce is not homemade. Otherwise it was a nice evening. The demands just aren't that high. It's really nice to sit there.

Sorry can't give a good rating. Opened according to Google, but we were in front of a locked door. At the entrance there is a note saying it will be closed until March, a shame. There are also guests who want to eat out of season. You should then update the opening times so that people don't go there for free.

Wir waren schon lange nicht mehr da und positiv überrascht. Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich und entsprach dem Preis. Das Gericht ist nicht nachstehend aufgeführt. Wir hatten Wolfsbarsch mit Erbsenpürre. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir waren aufgrund einer Empfehlung in diesem schönen, kleinen Restaurant. Auch wenn wir aufgrund der Jahreszeit die schöne Terrasse nicht nutzten, haben wir sehr schön und gemütlich gesessen. Der Service war freundlich und professionell, vom Empfang bis zur Verabschiedung. Das Essen, welches wir uns ausgesucht haben war sehr solide und schmackhaft zubereitet.

Sehr angenehmes Ambiente, das schmackhafte Essen war frisch zubereitet und dennoch relativ schnell serviert. Die Bedienung sehr kompetent und freundlich. Gerne geben wir eine positive Empfehlung und werden auch selbst gerne wiederkommen.

tolles Ambiente mit super Essen und klasse Bedienung, wir kommen gerne wieder

Die Vorspeise war eine bunte Kombination aus kleinen Salaten und Teigröllchen. Für 2 Personen gut geeignet. Die Ochsenbäckchen waren sehr reichlich. Die Kartoffelspalten waren hervorragend und die Besten, die wir bis jetzt gegessen haben Leider war kein lieblicher Wein dabei, aber die Weinempfehlung war sehr gut.

Mit viel Liebe und Können gekochte Gerichte aus regionalen Produkten und ein sehr angenehmer Service. Weiter so!

Top. Mehr Worte bräuchte es eigentlich nicht - umso mehr sind diese verdient. Zunächst bekommt man was der Name verspricht: ein wunderschönes Esszimmer welches direkt am Kanal umso schöner gelegen ist, in dem man familiär, herzlich und sehr aufmerksam umsorgt wird. Gästewünsche werden erfragt und wann immer möglich umgesetzt. Charmant: die stilvollendete Bedienung vor dem Restaurant ankernder Boote. Alle von uns probierten Gerichte waren ausgereift, modern, innovativ, frisch, nuanciert und total lecker. Der Wein ein sehr solider und gut gekühlter Grauburgunder. Chapeau, Ihr macht das wirklich gut und werdet uns in Erinnerung bleiben.

Beste Pasta (Spinat Tagliatelle) die ich seit langer Zeit gegessen habe. Super nettes Personal und man kann zum abendessen kaum schöner sitzen. 5 Sterne!!

Essen war sehr lecker und Service war sehr gut.

Das Restaurant ist sehr ansprechend möbliert und dekoriert. Modern und dennoch zeitlos. Die Lage einfach toll. Die Karte ist sehr überschaubar. Das Essen kam exakt 10 Minuten nach der Bestellung. Leider war mein Kalbsschnitzel kaum gewürzt. Das geht besser. Außerdem etwas zäh. Hier passt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für mich nicht zusammen. Schade. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und souverän.

Es hat uns hier sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war lecker, das Personal super nett und zuvorkommend, denn wir mussten nicht draußen stehen und warten bis geöffnet wurde, wir wurden auch schon sehr freundlich vor der Öffnungszeit bedient. Vielen Dank.

Hervorragendes Essen, mit unerwartet üppigen Portionen ein prima Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr freundlicher guter Service, es war sehr angenehm dort (lediglich die zwar stylischen, aber dennoch etwas wenig atmungsaktiven Kunststoffstühle draußen könnte man kritisieren, aber das trübt den Spaß nur geringfügig). Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We went there to try the Nr 1 restaurant in Plau am See... well, it is good but not thaaaaaat good Super friendly service, observing covid-19 rules at all times and food comes in time. The menu was OK and food average (For us not enough to put an #1 label) Maybe we weren’t very lucky We will try again 😄
