Cozy, old school atmosphere. Service is on point. Eater was good, fries in fresh fat, steak on point. As a bonus there was a solo entertainer. Gladly again.

A great cozy restaurant with friendly service. Delicious food - especially deer burgers and game goulash from the autumn menu, plus a plentiful selection of local wine. Absolutely recommended!

Unfriendly service. Nobody gave a tip, which is always a sign. Food was expensive, but quality was just okay. I don't recommend the terrace, it's nicer in my house than an ugly courtyard.

Unfortunately, the food isn't particularly good, nor is the service. We wouldn't come back. Above all, the vegetarian/vegan food is carelessly prepared and far too expensive.

Unfortunately no recommendation when it comes to food! The daily recommendation “Little Haxen” for €19.90 was a disaster. Centimeter thick crust, hard to get through with a knife and fork. The remaining meat inside is totally dry. When we complained to the service department, Schlucht's response was: That's how it should be, our customers like it, we sell it so regularly. Therefore: stay away!!!! Unfortunately the Kasspatzn weren't any better either. The homemade spaetzle were thick, sticky and doughy sparrows. Taste ok. but all you had was a doughy mass in your mouth! Spaetzle versus different! The small (actually quite large) mixed salad was also a bust. Dressing was completely tasteless. Actually a nice colorful salad mix. Blueberries and grapes on it didn't help beyond the neutral taste experience. Too bad! Food a flop, service friendly but no customer orientation. Shortcomings that are politely presented are negated and denied. Not very professional!

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Portionen sind ausreichend zum Satt werden, aber man hat nachher kein Völlegefühl und noch Platz für ein paar von den sehr leckeren Kellerbierchen. Am Wochenende gibt es ab 20.30 Livemusik! Wir hatten dort ein paar nette Abende.

This restaurant/cafe is on the riverside with a series of other similar “tourist-trap”-looking cafes. We stopped here to share a currywurst and a couple of drinks. The member of staff we spoke to was really friendly, talkative and accommodating to our broken German/English. The location is great, and a pair of cute nesting swallows provided great entertainment! For a tourist cafe, the prices are reasonable. The food is about average and the menu is a concoction designed for pleasing as many fussy tourists as possible. Overall, good for a tourist cafe.
