It's easy to stay here and sit comfortably even in warm temperatures. There is a small breeze and there are large parasols. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious and delivered quickly. What is positive is that the boss sources his ingredients from the region and from local companies and thus supports them. I'd be happy to pay a few euros more for that. There's everything on the menu for large and small appetites, and the burgers are highly recommended.

You can relax wonderfully on the large, shaded and beautifully landscaped terrace with a fantastic view over the vines and the Rhine. Unwind with a good glass of wine and regional dishes (especially the burgers are recommended!)... simply wonderful. This place is perfect if there are musical highlights, then you can sit there for hours and listen. The staff is friendly and on the ball, there are no long waiting times. And when the restaurant kitchen closes, a food truck is still available. You don't go hungry or thirsty here. If the cable car has already completed its last journey, you can simply walk back through the vineyards. I really enjoy being there and often, so a clear recommendation based on many visits.

Everything went perfectly and the food was great too. Please keep it up because it makes gastronomy really fun. I was there on a Wednesday and unfortunately couldn't eat here... But the location and the look of the facility were very nice!

We spontaneously drove to the restaurant and looked on the homepage to see that it was open. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed without giving any reason. Only the beer garden was open (but there are only pretzels and sausage here - we were looking forward to the veggie burger). There was a long queue there and the guests' food was served according to a waiting list. Many people shook the door of the restaurant looking for clues as to why it was closed - a note would have been nice OR - even better - a notice on the homepage that it was closed! Today is excellent weather for excursions and all hell is breaking loose.

Restaurant run by people with passion, professional and very nice service. The location of the restaurant is very impressive, the view from the terrace is breathtaking. I recommend it to anyone who will be in the area .

We were guests on a Saturday with eight people and had a table outside. The service (a tall man with a beard) was great: nice, quick, uncomplicated and attentive. I was impressed by his confident handling of an impudent and unpleasant female guest at the next table! Food is very tasty, selection is good, drinks were cold and came quickly. Parasols are huge, chairs are comfortable. Card payment is possible. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO RESERVE IN ADVANCE, this can easily be done via the website. One star deducted because you have to pay €1 for the toilet, even though the lady who collects doesn't clean it.

Boss rude if you say something in a normal tone it immediately means I'm rude even though I spoke in a normal tone!!!! And if I wanted to get it in a bottle, when I asked I was immediately told to give it to the employee. I have never experienced anything so rude in my entire life and I pass many restaurants but never here again!!!! Juice shop to the power of 10🤬🤬🤬🤬 I drive to a rest stop every day, there are around 1,500 of them a year, take a break and stay overnight, but you as the boss don't do that at all!!!! And my tone was normal, I could have reacted differently!!!! But I won't discuss with such ignorant people anymore - it was the last time!!!! PS Normally - 10 stars!!!!

Very unfriendly!!! Customer orientation is zero!!! Boss under the sun!!! Yells at customers and if there are misunderstandings you become aggressive!!! Preferably 0 stars for such a juice shop!!! In response to the company's response...I didn't even speak to the staff, I just heard how they treat customers and then decided that I wouldn't spend a cent there!

On August 3rd, 2024 we had a family celebration with 30 people. We were served brilliantly and had the whole area to ourselves, as the cable car stopped running after 7 p.m. An unforgettable evening with a view you won't forget. Many thanks to Mr. Küntzler and his team for responding to all requests in an uncomplicated manner.

We, my 2 children (1 & 4 years old) and my mother-in-law had lunch in the restaurant on the terrace today. I don't need to write anything about the fantastic view. The service is very attentive and super nice! A children's chair was immediately brought to me with the children's cards with crayons! 10 stars for the children's service!!!! I also ordered something for the children before I could look at the cards myself - it took less than 10 minutes - the schnitzel for my son with fries arrived!!! The little one was so happy and ate everything! We ordered a burger and the vegan burger. Delicious!!!! Both recommended! Unfortunately I can't give 10 stars - There are only 5 to choose from! A top address for families! Thank you very much for food and drink!!!

The sun terrace, with its fantastic view, literally invites you to linger. There is a self-service area with small dishes and an area with service. The menu is balanced and the service is very friendly. Waiting times are short and the food is very good. I think value for money is absolutely ok.

Unfortunately the owner wasn't very friendly to me. When I asked for a takeaway coffee, he explained that there was no financial benefit to him in offering this service. The tone was unpleasant, although the food was acceptable.

Wir waren mit der Reisegruppe 50 Personen auf dem Niederwald und die Mittagspause war für alle Gäste und selbst auch für uns mehr als zufriedenstellend. Service super, das Essen prima - die Gäste haben sich bei mir selbst fast alle einzeln bedankt - "ich hätte sehr gut gekocht"!! Ordentlich gedeckt, flexibel und alles in allem ein gelungener Programmpunkt in unserer Tagesfahrt an den Rhein. Gerne wieder denn Alles in Allem ist das Niederwald ein tolles Ausflugsziel mit entsprechendem Aufenthalt geworden. LG Roswitha Raab

We rented this location for our wedding reception. Everything went smoothly and easily. The team is very friendly and the view is beautiful. Our guests were thrilled. Gladly again.

I had ordered a table for 4 people, 2 of them in wheelchairs. My request to sit outside when the weather was nice with enough space for the wheelchairs was implemented perfectly. We were able to enjoy our food with a wonderful view of the temple and the Rhine. The service was super attentive and friendly, and the clear menu pleasantly met our expectations. A request to those responsible for the toilets: Please equip the disabled toilet/changing room with disinfectant and a closed container for hygiene waste.

The view is a dream. Cheesecake and raspberry cake. Plus an ice cream parlor. The table was reserved but if we asked we could use it for an hour. This is customer service. Very friendly staff U cake 🍰 very very tasty.

Incredibly unfriendly staff. Guests with children were evicted because they were unwanted. “A child would have thrown down a cutlery tray in the past, so you don’t want those (children) in your shop.” Absolute impudence, just disgusting for us as other guests to watch. In the other answers from the store's CEO it is also noticeable how many negative reviewers would supposedly “lick the cutlery”. I am shocked by such behavior, unprofessional and inappropriate. Stay away from this imposition at all costs!!!

We made reservations for 11 people at short notice. The service was very friendly, there was a little activity for the children and both drinks and food were served quickly.

We had a lovely meal and were served by Ania who spoke very good English and was really friendly. The pulled pork burger was lovely with a beer in the sunshine, and Ania described the bee sting cake perfectly - it was delicious. We then finished with a perfectly prepared Rudesheim coffee. We went again on Wednesday but unfortunately the restaurant was closed. But it must have been good to want to bog back the next day!

Restaurant refers to the toilet behind the house. They charge €1 there.

Grotesquely unfriendly employee at the kiosk. Prices are steep, grill on Father's Day is only suitable for those who are patient. After queuing for a long time, I asked the waitress at the kiosk what kind of juices they had. She replied “just read the menu!”. I posted a photo of this card here. Even if I had stood there it was barely readable. In any case, I said that I wasn't queuing there and that she should please tell me which spritzer they had. She said I didn't have time for that and started taking the order from the person behind me. Something so absurd! Why not just hang a little card on the counter??? I then managed to order 3 spritzers and three bratwursts and paid €29.50 for them. Unfortunately, the bratwurst wasn't finished due to a barely functional designer grill. Before I got into another fight with the unfriendly lady, we had a beef sausage.

We have had lunch here a few times and are very satisfied. The view is very nice and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The service is nice, I can only recommend it.

We had reserved for 10 people. When we arrived, we wandered around the outside area somewhat aimlessly and didn't know what to do next. An employee from the kiosk then helped us. Everything was already prepared at our table. Drinks and food were consumed quickly. The children received extra painting supplies. The view is fantastic! We were very positively surprised by the food, an extra compliment to the kitchen. Conclusion: An all-round successful Mother's Day and we'll be happy to come back.

Vorsicht ! Beim Kauf von Getränken in einer Pfandflasche an der Außentheke wird ihnen richtigerweise das Pfand mitberechnet. Bei Rückgabe des Leergutes erhalten Sie das Pfand nicht zurück. Lediglich das Glaspfand für Biergläser usw. wird erstattet.

We were turned away at 5:30 p.m. by a super unfriendly employee. We just wanted a bottle of water on a 30 degree day. The woman missed it. She was super unfriendly and told us to get lost and even got physical by slightly pushing us away. So that sucks, but instead of the other colleagues being better. We hardly speak to others in the store Employees say exactly the same thing. So with all due respect, just because they're about to finish work doesn't mean that every employee can be disrespectful. Such people should be taught to be friendly, because no matter who wants to sit there, they should know that the people who serve them are behaving badly.

Unfortunately I can't rate the food and drink, but I can rate the service and it was subpar! The specialists were completely overwhelmed and the so-called boss was completely rude and cheeky. I will never set foot in this store again. The so-called boss should do another job and not take his frustration out on his guests, because this shop apparently doesn't know hospitality.

I would like to give zero stars for this completely unfriendly shop! Feel like Surah An Nasr refined with gold on the weekend. We come with 14 people who all want to eat something and are sent away because we have one seat, which is ridiculous

Use the outdoor terrace and enjoy the view. The toilets were also free to use. It was a good place for a break.

Absolutely fantastic place! We had a large group of nearly 40 people and reserved in advance. The restaurant kindly sent us menu in advance so that we don’t wait for too long for our meals on the day. The food was delicious, lots of vegetarian and even vegan options. Pleasantly surprised by decaf latte. Stuff was very fast, responsive and friendly. Highly recommended!

It's now been a year since we said yes in the Niederwaldtempel and then celebrated in the Am Niederwald restaurant. The Niederwald team gave us and our guests a wonderful evening. Everyone always looks back fondly on this wonderful day and we have goosebumps. Thank you Am Niederwald!

Neither the food nor the cake is homemade, even though it is advertised as such. They don't care about the environment either, the used glass is not separated, but everything is disposed of in one container. Typical tourist trap.

Nice place, inside and out. Delicious food, everything homemade and fresh, nice quick service even when it's full. Clean toilets. The child was given a coloring page and pens, which I think is great. I can absolutely recommend it. Fair prices for the food.

Cake was good. The coffee raises questions. Some of us had a cup of coffee for 3 euros, the others had a pot of coffee for 4 euros. This means that for 33.3% more money there was almost no more coffee. At least not 33%. Think about it (operator) Addendum: In our case the ratio was not 140ml to 210ml. Otherwise I certainly wouldn't have written anything.

Erneut hatten wir ein sehr positives Erlebnis am Niederwald. Hervorrangendes Essen mit super freundlicher Bedienung. Schön, dass man auch mal etwas Besonderes essen kann. Man bekommt nicht überall ein Wildschwein-Cordon-Bleu, das auch noch mit Handkäse gefüllt ist. Auch die anderen Gerichte sind üppig und mit Liebe zubereitet. Die Portionen sind groß und meistens zu viel. Herzlichen Dank für die tolle Bewirtung.

Ich war vergangenen Samstag mit einer ganzen Gruppe hier und bin begeistert. Man hat für uns Tische auf der Terrasse reserviert was für ein Ausflugslokal wirklich nicht selbstverständlich ist -wir wurden zuvorkommend und waren richtig glücklich dort! Sowohl die Getränke als auch das Essen waren gut und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt! Dazu noch die herrliche Aussicht auf den Rhein! Besser hätten wir es nicht antreffen können!

Sehr schöner Ausblick, ordentliche Toiletten und freundlicher Service. Preis/Leistung für diesen Ort geht auch in Ordnung . Als einige von uns nach ein paar Runden Bier ne Currywurst gegessen haben waren sie allerdings enttäuscht, die kann man für den Preis wesentlich besser hinbekommen . Ist aber natürlich auch Geschmacksache.

Ich hatte das Steak mit Pommes und als Nachtisch einen Brownie. Beides sehr lecker. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam.

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im Juli hier gefeiert und waren super glücklich und zufrieden mit allem!! Von der Planung bis zur Feier war alles super. Die Kommunikation mit Herr Küntzler war durchweg unkompliziert und super freundlich, er stand bei Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung. Unser Sektempfang fand im darunterliegenden Tempel mit einem traumhaften Ausblick statt. Wir hatten ein reichliches Ofyr Grillbuffet welches einfach hervorragend war, das Essen hatten allen super geschmeckt. Der Service vor Ort war einfach nur Klasse, alle waren super freundlich und es wurde auf die Wünsche eingegangen, die Gäste vollkommen zufrieden. Es war für uns wirklich ein Sorgenfreier perfekter Tag! Alle waren vom Flair der Location und allem drum herum genauso begeistert wie wir. Wir kommen gerne wieder, denn auch a-la-Carte war das Essen bisher immer super. Danke

Wir haben am Bistro,.neben dem Restaurant, gegessen. Super Aussicht und saubere Tische aber wir haben noch nie eine so schlechte Currywurst gegessen. Die Sauce war viel zu flüssig und die Wurst war geschmacklich unterirdisch. Sorry, aber hier treibt es der Hunger rein und der Geiz würgt es runter! Vielleicht sollte man einen "anderen" Fleischer suchen!

Die Getränkepreise im Außenbereich sind unverschämt teuer. Man geht beim Bezahlen davon aus, dass man Pfand gezahlt hat, bekommt dann bei der Rückgabe aber die Rückmeldung, dass dies z.B. bei einer Apfelschorle nicht der Fall ist. Überall stehen aber Schilder, dass Getränke 2,50 € Pfand kosten.

햇살 좋은 오후에 야외 테라스에서 즐기는 맥주 한 잔은 최고입니다. 소시지 베이커도 의외로 맛있습니다. 맥주 한 잔에 한동안 멍~ ~ 최고입니다. 혼자 방문한 즐거움이 더하네요. ㅎㅎ 참고로 잔 맥주는 빈 잔 회수를 위해서 보증금을 받습니다. 다 마시고 나중에 바에 반납이면 보증금 돌려줍니다. 아시겠지만 화장실은 팁을 줘야 됩니다. 팁 관리자는 튀르키예에서 왔다고 한국말로 인사를 하네요.

Ich kann es empfehlen. Wobei ich nach einer langen Wanderung "nur" etwas getrunken habe. Die Bedienung war aber auf zack und dazu freundlich. Die Preise sind zwar etwas überdurchschnittlich, was ich bei der Lage aber absolut nachvollziehen kann🤙🤙🤙

Das Personal war nett, die Aussicht schön, aber das Bistro allgemein eine Katastrophe. Die Essens-Auswahl war sehr schlecht - wenn du Zöliakie (glutenallergie) hast, gan es nur Fleisch zur Auswahl. Die Currywurst war leider kalt und hat sehr schlecht geschmeckt. 1€ für die Toilette ist also Gast im Bistro/Biergarten einfach unverschämt. Ich war leider sehr enttäuscht.

Wir hatten am Dienstag für eine Gruppe von 20 Personen eine Reservierung für das Restaurant. Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Das Essen sah super aus und schmeckte auch so! Die Mitarbeitenden waren unglaublich freundlich und gut gelaunt. Absolute Empfehlung, nicht nur aufgrund des atemberaubenden Blicks!

The food was mediocre, the inside was very hot (no outside seating when we came because it was cold outside,) but the staff were nice. I’d find somewhere to eat in Rudesheim. Edit: I’m writing this edit to reply to the response I got from the owner. I’m not quite sure what Rhein in Flammen has to do with my review because I didn’t go during that event. In fact, the restaurant was pretty empty so there were no reservation issues at all. Thanks for the response, though.

The outside restaurant belongs to the inside one. All self service and not good coffee, and also really expensive. 4 euros for a coffee, self service and in a table outside, not worth. Toilet is also paying, 1 euro. Only worth the view over the Rhein.

Leider war für mich das Handkäse aus der Wetterau nicht gut. (Sehr trocken und nicht richtig im Öl eingelegt) sehr schade

Ein wunderschönes Ambiente hier auf der Terrasse zu essen.... Das Essen geht sehr schnell und schmeckt. Es ist halt nicht mit einer Gaststätte zu vergleichen wo man 1 Stunde aufs Essen wartet. Aber trotzdem war es gut. Auch die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Super Aussicht und auf dem Weg nach oben eine super Gelegenheit sich zu erfrischen oder zu stärken. Die Preise sind ähnlich wie in Rüdesheim selbst - allerdings ist hier um 18:00 Uhr Schluss, das sollte eingeplant sein.

Very nice large restaurant and outdoor seating area too, service quick and friendly and the food was tasty and of a good portion. Wheelchair accessible and the toilets too well worth a visit when you are visiting the monument to the the coming together of the German republics prior to the turn of the last century. This is not a war memorial!

Schönes Ausflugslokal mit weitem Blick in die Landschaft.

Alle waren sehr begeistert. Schöne Location und sehr gute Komunikation und Planung. Ausreichende Menüauswahl und sehr lecker.

Das Feature des Restaurants ist der famose Blick über das beginnende Mittelrheintal. Stellt Euch vor, Ihr sitzt an einem Fenster, das bis zum Boden geht und könnt diese einzigartige Aussicht genießen. Das Restaurant wirkt vom Stil modern, ein kleines Gimmick sind die Lampenschirme, die mit den Namen der Ortschaften am Mittelrhein beschriftet sind. Insgesamt ist der Gastraum in warmen (holzähnlichen) Farben gehalten, wirkt und ist gemütlich. Für 3 Stückchen Torte, einen Latta Machiato und eine Cappuccino wurden 22 € fällig. Es geht vielleicht billiger aber gewiss auch teurer.

Qualität der Speisen und Service sind gut. Leider fehlen noch ein paar Fahrradabstellmöglichkeiten

Prachtig uitzicht vanuit dit zelfbediening terras op de tempel en het Rijndal. Geen sekt (!) wel prosecco die al te lang openstond. Vriendelijke service. Prijzig.

Wenn man dieses an sich bisher immer gute Restaurant aufsucht, sollte man sich bewußt sein, daß die Toilette wg. Corona geschlossen ist. Angeblich wg. Auflagen des Ordnungsamtes. Daß man dann auf die superlange Warteschlange außen am Haus für die öffentliche Toilette verwiesen wird, bei der keinerlei Abstand gehalten wird, ist in meinen Augen unlogisch. Ebenso unlogisch ist es, daß die Restaurants unten in der Drosselgasse ihren Gästen den Besuch nicht verwehren. Einzelne Eintritte in die WCs sollten doch machbar sein, um dem Infektionsschutz zu genügen. Ansonsten ist das Personal nur auf der Terrasse sehr freundlich, im Innern wird man angeschnauzt, wenn man den Kuchen anschauen will, bzw. das WC aufsuchen möchte. Der Kuchen war allerdings sehr gut, ebenso der Kaffee. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist wirklich empfehlenswert.

Auch wir waren zum Mittagessen mit 3 Erwachsenen da. Dank unserer Reservierung war es kein Problem am Feiertag einen Tisch am Panoramafenster zu bekommen. In Coronazeiten dringend zu empfehlen. Das Wetter war fürchterlich (heftige Regenschauer und starker Wind), trotzdem hatten viele am Tag der deutschen Einheit dieselbe Idee. Wir haben alle von der exzellenten Kürbiskarte gewählt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. DAs Essen war hervorragend, der Service ausgesprochen nett. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Zum Mittagessen vor Ort mit 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Getränke und Speisen werden schnell aufgenommen und umgehend warm serviert. Auf Wünsche wie Kinderportion wird eingegangen. Das Essen geschmacklich und optisch sehr gut. Wir können nichts bemängeln und hatten einen schönen Mittag. Bedienungen waren allesamt freundlich und herzlich. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Eine super schöne, gemütliche Hütte wie im Skiurlaub. Sehr freundliches und gut geschultes Personal. Sehr leckeres Essen und ausgewählte Weine. Nur zu empfehlen!!! Tipp: mit der Gondel nach oben fahren, in die Almhütte einkehren und nach unten Richtung Rüdesheim laufen.

Eine absolut unfreundliche Bedienung! So etwas haben wir nie erlebt. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Familien mit Kindern sind nicht willkommen.
