We can only recommend a visit. Just get out of the tourist center around Drosselgasse and you will find this family-run winery with very tasty wines and good food just outside. You will be warmly welcomed and there will be time for a nice chat. We felt like we were eating with friends.

A bad first impression!! As an older woman, I come into the restaurant to order something: no greeting and completely ignored! Good service looks COMPLETELY different 🤔🫡🤐

The food is like my mom's, who was an excellent cook. Mega delicious schnitzel, fries and salad. Service very attentive and accommodating. We'd love to come back.

Toevallig was buiten nog een tafel voor 2 beschikbaar, anders hadden we binnen moeten zitten, want de rest was alles gereserveerd buiten. Vlotte service, goed eten en prima wijnen (als je de rose van GB niet neemt die vonden wij wat te waterig). Er speelde buiten een band van drie die wel heel erg veel pauzes hield maar op momenten leuke muziek speelde. Wij komen hier zeker eens terug.

Direkt am Rhein im Touristenviertel gibt es nur Nepp hat man mir gesagt. Da außerhalb von Assmannshausen kein Restaurant zu finden war, haben wir es im Germania probiert. Und alle haben gelogen. Es war fantastisch. Absolut top war der Service. Freundlich, entspannt und schnell. Das Essen war himmlisch. Sogar die Mittelgräte von der Forelle war entfernt. Der Sauerbraten war sehr zart, die Soße kräftig und die Klöße wahrscheinlich selbst gemacht. Ich hatte die Wildbratwürste, sehr saftig und schmackhaft. Der Hammer war der Nachtisch, Vanilleeisbecher mit Sahne. Und der Espresso war stark und hatte eine feine Crema. Die Preise waren absolut angemessen. Es war das preiswerteste Restaurant auf der ganzen Promenade, ich habe vorher alle Speisekarten gelesen. Ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Food Was ok. But I was expecting more. I could not recommend to go eat here. Atmosphere is cozy and clean. Best Part was the girl who served food and drink. She was very friendly and nice.

Food was not bad, however, the place was full of flies and mosquitoes and they were in hundreds flying around the food and the drinks. When we spoke to the stuff, they said this normal.

The hotel does not seem to have changed. It is located on the banks of the Rhine between Wiesbaden and Koblenz. I stayed there for more than 30 years. Magnificent architecture typical of the region. Interior frame too. Very good food. I recommend it.

Disgusting food, there was hair in my summer rolls & it smelled unpleasant just like my husband's food. Never again! Be careful where you order
