I cannot understand how this restaurant can have 4.5 stars. We waited 40 minutes for our pizzas. After a long time this arrived, very dry and tasted like it was a frozen pizza.

The service is really top! They see everything and really try hard! Top! The pizza, we all ordered pizza... It tasted good, everyone was happy. The disadvantage was that they were ready-made bases that were simply covered... I can understand having something like that in this restaurant, but the dough wasn't great. We later got better knives because we couldn't cut the pizza at all. The reason for this was that it was as hard as a board... The salad had a ready-made sauce that really wasn't tasty... Vinegar and oil would have been good... Otherwise it was really nice here!

A very nice restaurant with delicious food

For €13 € a pizza the size of a children's pizza with a few slices of pepperoni, a little garlic and 3 mini pieces of chili on top. The dough is mushy. No clever edge. Like the ready-made dough from the discount store to make your own. Taste ok. But for the price and size, it's an absolute disgrace. Maybe guests who don't pick up at least get something appropriate for the price. The service was fine and the staff friendly. Nevertheless, the core competence of a restaurant, namely the food, is, as described above, sobering and even disappointing. Too bad. The quality presentation of the location does not do the pizza justice in any way.

We had dinner with 8 people. The meals were very tasty. Very funny and attentive service, good value for money. Top location. A birthday was spontaneously responded to with a surprise and a singing performance.

Great service, cozy atmosphere, delicious pizza that isn't overloaded with cheese. A little away from the hustle and bustle and all the tourist stalls. Clear recommendation, would love to come back!

It was absolutely perfect. The food is amazing and fresh, the staff is so polite. We were served by Luigi. He's an amazing person, very polite and friendly. I really recommend going to eat here. I eat the best spaghetti carbonara ❤️ Luigi, we thank you for everything!

Nice place and friendly service. The dishes were OK, nothing special. Really not good value for money. We had an appetizer, two first courses, a glass of wine and a lemonade, spent more than €40 each and left still hungry, the portions were so small. It's true that it's a tourist area with high prices, but that's too much. I won't go back.

We went there for my friend's birthday. Our pasta dishes were delicious and we were full. For dessert there was homemade tiramisu. Delicious! Nice and courteous service staff. There was also a little birthday surprise! Thank you for this wonderful experience, the surprise was a success :) We'd love to come back!

Food was really good. This is not just a pizza place but a more upscale Italian restaurant with good Italian food. The place was very busy, with was probably why the service at times seemed slow, but the food more than made up for it. Delicious pasta and pizzas. I would easily eat here again.

Not a tourist trap! If you are looking for a good pizzeria in Rüdesheim that is worth the price, you will find it here. Everything great. The side salad is actually brought as a side dish. If you want it beforehand, you have to say so when ordering. The fries were very well seasoned. The waiters are also very nice. Very good.

WARNING to everyone who appreciates GOOD PIZZA: IT'S NOT AVAILABLE HERE :-(( Unfortunately, on July 20th, 2024, I was hungry and ordered two large pizzas that were absolutely UNEASY to eat: a) vegetarian b) Parma The dough was apparently mixed with concrete, at least so rock-hard that not only the normal knives, but also the steak knives that were handed out upon request did not manage to cut through the so-called pizza dough. An older Mexican lady at the next table, like us, had... Hunger only ate the thin topping and didn't even manage to divide the dough. After my complaint and the request for the bill, the waitress only wanted to give us one drink each (either espresso or an apple spritzer). However, we were hungry, not thirsty!! The “junior chef” who appeared afterwards gave the three regulars at the neighboring table a discount for the rock-hard pizza base that had also failed and not been consumed - but not to us. Reason to me: “We always make the dough like this, and not Neapolitan soft!” It was 33 degrees Celsius and I didn't feel like having any more discussions at the lowest level. 2 x concrete pizza plus 2 apple spritzers = EUR 39.10 The proverbial tourist rip-off!!! Unfortunately, we only read reviews that went in the same direction as ours afterwards! Please eat somewhere else if you are looking for good Italian cuisine. “Da Toni” was the full blow to the toilet. This “Italian gourmet temple” probably won’t live to see another 25 years!!! In any case, DA TONI is not a calling card for Rüdesheim; The opposite side of the Rhine in Bingen can do this much better... Even the ferry crossing is worth it. 2 Lower Saxony (over 60)

Service and food quality have continuously declined over the last few years. Price/performance no longer fits together for me.

Jagershznitzel aka hunter. Abosultely loved this dish. The croquettes came out piping out. It came with two full pieces of chicken schnitizel. The sauce on my schnitzel could have been hotter I feel. Also got the souffle dessert. Was good. Nothing special or that much great.

Danger! I don't know exactly what to think of our visit. We decided to eat at Da Toni as we liked the ambience. We took a seat on the terrace, ordered a wine and two pilsners. Plus a Margerita pizza, one with pepperoni sausage and special pasta with scampies. All pizzas are without mozzarella, which is a no-go. So we both ordered only mozzarella. When the pizzas arrived, the margerita was missing the basil, which is of course a must. That's why we ordered it again. Plus 3 small slices of bread for the pasta and parmesan. Two orancellos rounded off the meal. Unfortunately the pizza is just mediocre, no one would come for it in Frankfurt, but it doesn't matter. What happened next remains a mystery to this day. We paid but didn't receive an invoice. It said 85 euros. Unfortunately, it wasn't until later that we realized that this couldn't fit in any way. Here to write down: Pizza Margerita large 11.5€, pepperoni 12€, pasta 20.5€, 2 pilsners 7€, 1 Pino Gigio 5.8€ and the 2 orancellos 11€. That makes a total of €69 We paid €85, which makes a difference of €16. Ok, we had the mozzarella extra, but that doesn't explain the difference. I would be grateful for some clarification from the local. If not, everyone should request the invoice in writing, otherwise you might suspect that you are being ripped off.

Nice restaurant, pizza boring and if you're unlucky someone at the table next to you smokes while you eat.

It's not an incredibly special taste, but both pizza and pasta are delicious. The service is also friendly. The tables on the street are noisy and don't recommend the trains moving around, but the tables in the outdoor courtyard have a nice atmosphere.

By far our favorite place in Rudesheim. The food & service remain a level above everyone else.

While this place touts gluten free alternatives, none of the pastas and pizzas are. My husband settled for the schnitzel with tomato sauce, which he loved. I had penne al pesto with hot garlic bread to die for!

Every time we are in Rüdesheim we come here to eat the most delicious bavette with scampi (spicy). For us, we discovered “da Toni” 4 years ago. We got a table there easily. I now recommend reserving a table via the website before visiting. It works very easily and guarantees that you will get a free table. There are great children's menus here (including ice cream). Our children celebrate it! The homemade lemonade is very refreshing and the bavettes with scampi are simply a dream, always well seasoned and a little spicy. Just perfect for us. Yesterday my husband wanted a few more scampis, but the taste was great as always. We also had salmon with spinach and potatoes and spaghetti carbonara, a small pizza. Hats off, everything was super tasty. The staff is very accommodating, friendly and occasionally entertain the children with funny sayings. We would like to come again.

Food was fantastic. Went on mother's Day. Had the pasta a la chef, which was great. Wife had the salad which was fantastic. Children had pasta as well. We finished the meal off with the coconut ice cream, which was great as well. In addition to the food, the atmosphere was great. Waiters were friendly and made you feel like family. It was a fun time all round. Only minor critique is that it did take a little while for the food to be served. Not too long, but didn't take too much away from the experience. Overall, highly recommend.

Luckily we had reserved a table the day before. Logged in at 8 p.m. and complied with it. The food was a dream. We had nothing to complain about. The pizza with a nice thin base was nice and crispy. Not burned. To the point! The staff very friendly and service-oriented. You can't find that everywhere anymore these days. We had three different pizzas... the base was exactly as it should be and the toppings were plentiful, very 😋 😋 😋 .Also the salad,,,fresh with a delicious sauce..Thank you,,,we would be happy to order again..

Unfortunately for us the evening meal in this pizzeria was very bad. Ordered pizza only with mozzarella but my pizza had 5 small slices, inedible. We call the waiter immediately to pay without eating the pizza. I am very disappointed. Later we go to another pizzeria.

Danger! - Risk of confusion: You might think that the pizza from Pizzaria da Toni is the frozen pizza from Dr. Oetker. If you eat as fast as Usain Bolt runs, it's still not enough because the pizza gets cold after a few seconds. The pizza dough smells abnormal and when you bite into it, the same flavors come out as when you bite into a car tire. It's basically the same.

Best pizza in town! The atmosphere is Italian-style, the service is top notch. Price-performance is also good. We recommend!

We were here on Saturday evening. First of all, the staff is very friendly, customer-oriented and professional. The ambience is also very nice. But let's come to the food: I have to admit that I hoped for more from this restaurant. Inside it is very stylish and you expect the food to taste just like the restaurant exudes. Unfortunately quite a disappointment. We ordered pizza and it was rock hard. It wasn't anything spectacular and unfortunately we hardly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I had to return my pizza once because the crust was baked so hard that it felt like eating cookies. The staff was very friendly and took the pizza away and I got one that was softer this time.

I've been in Rüdesheim and the Rheingau very often, and unfortunately I've always walked past this shop without realizing it! Went there spontaneously today and have to give it an absolute recommendation. Big thanks to the team, the service and the kitchen! Very nice, stylish atmosphere, despite the full tables it is easy to have a conversation. The reception and the waiter look nice and accommodating. I didn't have high expectations for "Pizzaria" to be honest. But from the aperitif to the starter to the main course, the drinks and wine recommendations, everything was perfect! Immer noch gute Küche, wenn auch nicht mehr ganz soooo wie die Jahre davor. Es wird halt überall etwas gespart. Aber trotzdem noch empfehlenswert 👍

Tolles Ambiente und sehr freundliches nicht aufdringliches Personal. Habe schon lange nicht mehr so lecker gegessen.

Wir sind echt beeindruckt, sodass wir (was selten vorkommt) am ersten Abend gleich für den nächsten Tag reserviert haben, da das Essen hervorragend war und die Auswahl unter den vielfältigen Gerichten uns eh schon schwerfiel. Vorspeisenplatte ist ganz hervorragend, wir hatten außerdem Trüffennudeln (spitze) und Pizza. Bei der Pizza war ich gespannt, da auf den Fotos zu sehen war, dass diese aus einer Form kommt, was meist nicht so gut ist. Hier aber war der Teig hervorragend (ich glaube, durch höheren Griesanteil) und der Belag (Salami) erstklassig. Gerade bei vermeintlich simpler Tomatensoße geht oft viel verloren, hier nicht. Die Tortellini alla Panna am zweiten Tag waren gut, ohne besonders hervorzustechen, die Fischplatte wiedeum war Champions League. Mehr Sorten Fisch und Meeresgetier als angegeben, ne solide Menge Spinat und auf sehr leckere Rosmarinkartoffeln. Spitze. Und auch wenns nicht entscheidend sein sollte, - die Portion war sehr üppig. Dazu: Das Ambiente (mit dezenter Musik und durchdachter Beleuchtung (hier wird leider so oft so viel falsch gemacht)) ist sehr angenehm. Insgesamt also definitiv Besuche wert

Als wir vor 8 Wochen zum ersten Mal mit Freunden in Rüdesheim waren, fiel uns das 'Da Toni' direkt ins Auge. Nur durch die glückliche Fügung,  dass Gäste nicht erschienen sind, konnten wir nach etwas Wartezeit einen Tisch im ausgebuchten Restaurant bekommen. 'Da Toni' ist modern und gemütlich. Mir gefällt die Einrichtung sehr gut. Das Essen dort ist einfach hervorragend. Wir waren so begeistert, dass wir für den nächsten Abend wieder gebucht haben. Und auch diesmal war das Essen richtig klasse. Die Empfehlungen, die vom Servicepersonal ausgesprochen wurden, waren absolut köstlich. Der Service dort ist hervorragend. Herzerfrischend offen und freundlich, sehr humorvoll und aufmerksam, ohne je aufdringlich zu sein. Wir haben zwei richtig tolle Abende dort verbracht und fühlten uns richtig gut aufgehoben. So toll, dass wir für die geplante Fahrt zur Weihnachtsmarktzeit vor zwei Wochen direkt nochmal beide Abende bei Da Toni gebucht haben. Auch diesmal wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Es waren genauso tolle Abende wie zuvor. Das ganze Paket. Diesmal haben wir auch Fotos vom Essen gemacht. Was noch erwähnt werden muss: das Da Toni ist gerade am Wochenende sehr gut besucht, wenn nicht sogar ausgebucht,  aber es war nie ungemütlich oder zu laut. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen und sage nochmal vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit bei euch, die tollen Gerichte und den überragend guten Service. Bis zum nächsten Mal, spätestens im nächsten Sommer.

Das Essen war nicht besonders! Der Fisch war nicht gar, der Salat zu sauer. Schade um das Geld.
