If Rüdesheim had a Mediterranean beach, it would be like being on holiday in Italy. Very good and humorous service. Perfect pizzas and pasta.

We were there in July and received very friendly service. The food was good.

Highly recommended. Delicious pizza and pasta dishes. Friendly staff. We've been there spontaneously so far and were lucky to find a free table. Making a reservation would be a good idea for larger groups. We'll definitely be back.

The best Italian restaurant for miles around... The food is/tastes perfect, and the service is always friendly. The prices are more than reasonable. It's worth going there every time.

We were there as a group (17 people) for dinner on October 2nd and 3rd, 2025. Everything was simply fantastic – the food, the staff/service, the ambiance, and the chef.

We were there with a larger group on October 3rd. There were 9 people on the first evening. We were so impressed that we immediately made another reservation for the next day. The rest of our group joined us, making a total of 17 of us. Conclusion: A picture-perfect restaurateur, "Gino." We were treated like guests. It couldn't be more personal. The food was consistently high quality, wait times were short, and the staff was highly trained and incredibly friendly. The ambiance is very, very appealing. We will be back and can highly recommend Da Toni.

Lovely Italian restaurant. I recommend making a reservation in advance, as the place gets very busy. I've rarely eaten such a delicious pizza, and the friendly service makes it taste twice as good. (Manu is an extremely attentive and friendly server.) If I visit Rüdesheim again, this restaurant will definitely be on my list.

We were served by a man who seemed a bit upstage and arrogant. We ordered wine and still water (we were asked if it should be still or carbonated and we responded still), but discovered when we opened the waterbottle that it was carbonated. We had a pasta dish and it was ok. When we have finished our meal we waited and waited and waited. The man who served us were all around the other tables in our section of the restaurant but he completely ignored us. We would have liked a dessert (Tiramisu), but the time waiting made us irritated and when we finally managed to get attention we asked to pay the bill and then left and will not return to this restaurant.

We come to this restaurant every time we're in Rüdesheim, and have been for years! There's simply no better Italian restaurant. The food is always fresh, authentic, and incredibly delicious. The pasta pulpo I had this time was particularly outstanding; it couldn't be better. Shaggy, Lui, Manu, and of course Gino are a fantastic team who make every visit a special experience. The atmosphere is warm, and the waiters treat every guest with the same level of attention and friendliness. Anyone who writes negative things probably has only themselves to blame. For us, there's no alternative; we absolutely recommend it!

We wouldn't visit this restaurant a second time. We had reserved a table for two online for 6 p.m. I had indicated in the comments that we would like to sit outside if possible. Afterwards, I saw that if you wanted to reserve a table outside, you had to pay €5 per person. I've never heard of such a thing before and find it impossible. We were told we could have a table outside, but that we would have to leave in an hour and 20 minutes. Otherwise, they only had a high table with bar stools inside. The restaurant has a barrier like the ones at an airport, which is only opened once it's clear whether you're allowed in. We chose the table with limited time; we didn't want to eat sitting on bar stools. The food came quickly and was good, but we found the way we were treated as a guest completely inappropriate. From our table, we could see the waiter and had the feeling he was assigning tables based on who liked us. Many without reservations were turned away, but he had seats for others. Even outside, and with no time limit, like ours. Bottom line: You don't have to be treated so condescendingly as a guest, so despite the delicious pizza, never again!!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful meal at the restaurant da Toni several times during our stay in Rüdesheim. Gino and his team made our stay truly special! They were always in a good mood, we received excellent advice, and it always felt like a culinary mini-trip to Italy. Honestly such a great experience! Amazing food and super experienced staff! This was my favourite restaurant in Rüdesheim and the standard was high above the others. Also this was an amazing wine!

We thoroughly enjoyed the food and thoroughly enjoyed it. We ate here several times, and every dish delighted us. The ambiance and friendly staff were equally impressive. A big recommendation for anyone visiting Rüdesheim!

First, the good: a lovely restaurant with a comfortable feel. However, we were disappointed with the food. We've often had far better pizza. Unfortunately, schnitzel is a convenience store. The pasta was the best and good for the price. The chocolate cake was very good, but the tiramisu was really bad for an Italian restaurant. The waiter, L., unfortunately became truly unfriendly when there was a discrepancy with the bill. We wouldn't recommend it.

We've been to this pizzeria three times now – not because we got lost, but because it's simply too delicious! Pizza, pasta, and steak – all spot on. The service is friendly, attentive, and even has time for a little chat. The highlight: For my husband's birthday, there was a surprise dessert with a sparkler – including personalized congratulations from the chef and two waiters. We almost felt like stars on the red carpet... only the pasta tasted better. 😉 To round off our last evening, we were allowed to order a drink on the house. Bottom line: If you don't leave here feeling full and happy, you've clearly done something wrong.

My favorite pizza is Frutti di Mare. It's what I measure every pizzeria or Italian restaurant with pizza on the menu by. What I get here time and time again—whether in-store or via delivery—is absolutely top-notch. Take a look at the photo. You can get it for a fair €14. Many pizzerias in the region could take a leaf out of their book. The first-class service makes the dining experience perfect. Absolutely recommend it!

I requested a possibility of a birthday surprise for my friend and they did a great job. Very creative! They even wrote the wishes with the ice cream in the native language. Food was good - 1. Lasagne - perfect 2. Grilled muscles - small portion Overall, great ambiance and atmosphere. Highly Recommend!

The food was truly excellent. We had the pizza special and a pasta dish for main course. For dessert, we had panna cotta and tiramisu. Unfortunately, the service was cool and unfriendly compared to their regulars. They were always greeted with a smile and a lighthearted remark. We felt rather unwelcome, and it felt very awkward. Hospitality towards everyone, unfortunately, still needs practice. The raspberry-lime summer lemonade was also very good.

Whenever I'm in Rüdesheim, it has to be this Italian restaurant. I've never been disappointed. This time, we were a group (6 women, 1 man), had made a reservation, and were assigned a nice table in a quieter corner. All the dishes were very good, and even though it was busy, there were no long waits. "Shaggy" was the perfect server; he knows how to serve and, to top it off, he has a good sense of humor. Thank you for that!

Very unfriendly service. There were still tables available, but then they rudely told us we had 200 reservations, even though nothing was listed. We were very disappointed with this service. We left with thanks. We won't recommend it. First and last time.

I'm very disappointed. You can't go anywhere like a place where people can eat celiac food and arrive and not have the option to eat. They have opening hours from 12 to 10 p.m. Well, after 2 p.m., you can't eat from the set menu, but you also can't eat anything other than pasta and pizza, and to top it all off, dessert either! And the lack of staff means you have to wait a long time for food. I'm sorry, but I don't understand anything.

We spontaneously wanted a table. At first, we were yelled at because we were standing 60 cm away from the "Please wait" sign. Then we had to wait again for some guests to leave, even though there were more than 30 free tables for four. The waiters were very arrogant.

The food was super delicious, I highly recommend the appetizer plates. The pizza as well. The steak was cooked to perfection and delicious. We'll definitely eat there again.

Not much welcome when we arrived and were simply given 2 QR codes to enable access WiFi and menu (in German). German guests were given proper paper menus. We would have probably been more adventurous with food but the menu wasn't easy to read on a phone. Pizzas were quite good though.

A super-delicious Italian restaurant. I ate there with my sister two days in a row. We had pizza and pasta dishes, absolutely delicious. The prices were perfectly reasonable. The wine was especially delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly, and one young waiter smelled particularly good of perfume ;) The ambiance and cleanliness of the restaurant were also great. You definitely can't go wrong here if you want to eat delicious food. Yummly.

This is a place where people rely on reviews. The pizza wasn't tasty. We came with high expectations and were disappointed. The service needs to improve. Even though it wasn't busy, we waited a long time for the food. Arrogance was also evident. We don't recommend this restaurant.

In a tourist town like Rüdesheim, I don't have particularly high expectations for the food, but I have to say, it was absolutely fantastic! We went there with a reservation on a Saturday at 4:30 p.m. (we would have been fine without one, but definitely not after 6 p.m.) and sat six of us at a large round table. Perfect for conversation and attentive service from Manu and Shaggy. I think the prices are reasonable, and my Frutti di mare pizza was excellent!

Truly one of the worst Italian restaurants in terms of quality. Carpaccio is served with green salad without olive oil (too little). Spaghetti aglio e olio, neither spicy nor was any oil used. Dry. Simply Italian cuisine for tourists. 99% of people won't be coming back anyway. But the prices are like a first-class Italian restaurant.

We enjoy (not just eating) countless wonderful moments with Gino (Patrone), Shaggy, Manu, Lui, and the entire DaToni family. Very best of: Tortoloni with oyster mushrooms. Or: Spaghetti with octopus. Or Saltimbocca a la Romana, or rump steak with chanterelles, antipasti, chocolate tarts... Even during rush hour, personal moments are possible—for us, the salt in pasta 🍝

Everything was perfect and very professional. I drove all the way from Heidelberg because I've never eaten such delicious food. Simply 100%.

Everything was amazing and delicious. We were celebrating my girlfriend's birthday and got dessert on the house.

A very nice atmosphere, but the food was very disappointing. Shelled snails were simply tossed in oil and garlic, and the white bread that came with it was dried out. The pizza was just okay, but the knives were so blunt that you couldn't cut into it. The scampi with mixed salad was a disgrace. Four half scampi, a small portion of salad, poorly cleaned, and too much vinegar and oil instead of the house dressing for €16.50. The overall price/performance ratio is not right. We felt like it was a tourist rip-off.

Authentic Italian delights. We've visited Pizzeria Da Toni several times and have been impressed from the start! The cozy atmosphere combined with the aroma of freshly baked pizzas from the wood-fired oven creates a real holiday feeling. The appetizers, pasta, pizza, and other meat dishes are excellent.

Fantastic meal at this restaurant tonight while in Rudensheim, Germany. The food was outstanding and Luigi took exceptional care of our party of 6. We told our Viking River Cruise director to recommend this place to future guests.

All I can say is, it's always worth a visit. There were four of us girls here for dinner and we immediately booked another table for the next day. The team is really very accommodating and very friendly. Gino Manu Shaggy and Lui served us really well. It feels like you're on vacation in Italy. The food is very, very delicious. We had to wait a little longer for the food (although it was Whit Monday and the weather was nice, so it was busy), but the food was very tasty😋 And our waiter Lui was very friendly and funny.

NOT RECOMMENDED!! I left feeling more disappointed than satisfied. There was a long line outside, so I had high expectations — but the food was just average, and fairly priced at best. The Bolognese tasted like something I could make at home with store-bought sauce. One of the staff members — the Italian man featured on the website, I believe his name is Antonio — was extremely unfriendly. I honestly regretted not leaving before even getting the wine. When I asked to confirm our order, he cut me off, pressed the "confirm" button himself, and said the order had already gone to the kitchen. Later, we received an incorrect bill, and when I pointed it out, we waited over 10 minutes until another staff member finally brought the corrected one. You could see other people complaining about him, too. Overall, the service and food didn’t live up to the hype. I would never return.

It's always funny when a restaurant refuses to serve cappuccino after dinner or even a little milk with black coffee. Because they are supposedly 'real Italian'. I wonder where in the Italian culinary tradition Coca Cola was combined with pasta and Fanta with Dorade. Because if you look around, they don't make a fuss about that at all. Otherwise, I had a great meal. Good canneloni and vongole.

Five of us were here today and were extremely satisfied. We had two pizzas and three pasta dishes. The service was quick and all the dishes were delicious! The pizza was crispy, the pasta was creamy, and they served it with Parmesan cheese. If you like garlic, definitely order pizza bread with the pasta! The tiramisu is a special recommendation...it's a dream 😍

We had a very nice, funny and handsome waiter ;-) (greetings to Manu). - I actually didn't drink any of the water - there was enough of it in the beer :-) It's better to reserve on the weekend. We were lucky and got a place even without a reservation, with a bit of a wait. The gentleman at the entrance who distributed the seats came across as a bit arrogant. If he had been our waiter, the rating might have been a little worse.
