2025 Disappointing visit to Zicken-Schulze I have eaten at the Hotel Restaurant Zicken Schulze several times in the past and was mostly satisfied. Regardless of whether it was Sunday, public holiday or during the week, the food was usually good. Unfortunately my visit today was a failure. I ordered a schnitzel of four, which didn't meet my expectations at all. The meat was soggy and the fried potatoes were cut way too thick, way too fatty and unfortunately not crispy at all. When I asked for a side salad, I was offered the option of ordering an extra salad bez in a bowl. Two salads for just under €7 each were surprising, as we actually assumed that a small side salad with the schnitzel was usual. We paid for this without complaint. The second dish, a Wiener-style schnitzel, was also disappointing. The breading was greasy, not nicely browned and, above all, not crispy. Here too, the fried potatoes had the same, unsatisfactory consistency: too thick, not crispy and too greasy. When we asked the waitress to please put the salad where the cutlery was, we received the unprofessional answer: "Yes, everyone can do that however they want." It's a shame that our visit today was so negative. We won't be visiting this restaurant again for the time being. Written in the summer of 23: "Friendly service and excellent food. Above all, the prices are great!" Christmas 23 will look different. Friendly service remains, food - see photo. No crispy skin, weak sauce and 1/2 duck was on the side dish - not possible at all. We had to hurry (because of passage II) and didn't have to make any effort. Let's hope the kitchen gets better (again).

Recommended for in between, we are satisfied so far..

We were curious and were there for the first time today. We were immediately informed that there was no menu or long drinks etc., which we very much regretted. There's something about the Dorfkrug that's somewhere between cozy and a lost place. The service was friendly and the other guests were obviously regulars. The prices are very fair, but unfortunately you can't find them anywhere. There is a dart machine and 2 slot machines. The location also has a smoking terrace, a cigarette machine as well as several toilets and a celebration hall. Occasionally, themed events such as 90s or Mallorca parties (from 16 with mother's license) take place here.

Prices are okay, food is tasty, but sweet is very sweet. Mangol lassi is unfortunately very runny or tastes good

Today I treated myself to a Chicken Katsu Donburi, which was very tasteless, for 8.49 euros. Price/performance doesn't fit here at all. A huge portion of sticky rice with a little carrots and beans. The only thing that was adequate is the chicken. Unfortunately, you didn't notice any taste of the spices listed on the packing slip. The specified sesame seeds were also missing. In terms of ambience, however, everything was great. Everything beautifully presented and advertised. Still, my bowl wasn't worth your money for what was on offer.

Deadest shop in Bernau! From the guy on the phone to the store manager, everyone is so incompetent, it's actually funny. First of all, wait in the queue for half an hour. We don't need to talk about the fact that food is the biggest rubbish (car tire ahh dough tastes like I'm chewing on rubber) and dare to order meat, food poisoning won't be long in coming. Everything that can go wrong will go wrong in this store, that's crazy. I ordered food because I was extremely hungry and said please bring cutlery for the pasta and I had to explain to the guy on the phone for 10 minutes that I was NOT HOME, but at a different address. Yes, in any case, I wait more than an hour until I get a call that the driver is at my door at home 😂. Then the driver says: I don't feel like driving back and forth as if it's my fault even though I explained for 10 minutes that I'm not HOME, but at a different address. In any case, he ran away, called and the branch manager was completely overwhelmed with everything. How he got his job is CRAZY. Then the driver was sent off again and after waiting for 2 hours, I called and asked if he at least had cutlery with him this time, because I EXPRESSLY mentioned it again. He said I didn't have any cutlery and drove back again without giving me the food. Yes, after 2.5 hours of STARVING, I called them and wanted to complain and they just hung up and didn't pick up my phone anymore 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 You can't tell anyone that hahaha Everyone who orders there is their own fault and I pray every day that the store goes bankrupt and everyone becomes unemployed 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

We were there for the first time with the children. The service was absolutely top, the food was a dream and plentiful. 100% worth another visit highly recommended

Unbelievable, you make your way there and then the shop is closed. On-site opening hours are until 10 p.m. and online until 8:30 p.m. We're 8 p.m. there and closed. This store is not worth another visit. Not recommended! Thanks for the gift of fuel.

We wanted extra fresh fish for our baby. But; Fresh is different. If the worms are already 5 cm long, the fish has been lying a little longer.

Unfortunately not recommended. We were here years ago and we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately not at all this time. The lady was very short and curt and stressed even though there was no one to serve at the time we were there. No wonder given the reviews here

Ordered 2 x MCFlurry. First time only filled 2 thirds with ice. What's amazing, when ordered repeatedly, the cup including Smarties was only half full. This is not only outrageous but also consumer deception. Next time I'll ask the branch manager to come. I'll find out where to report this.
