Today we came to this restaurant for lunch with our child. Before eating we washed our hands in the toilet and left everything tidy like we always do. The chef's wife took our order with an unfriendly expression on her face.
We sat down at the table and ate. Meanwhile, this woman was standing behind the counter, handing out food to customers, and then suddenly ran into the toilet with a rag to clean something or do her own business, even though the toilet was clean.
After about 4 minutes she opened the door, came out and started swearing at our child in a loud voice, gesticulating wildly and incomprehensibly. We sat quietly eating while there was only one other guest sitting separately from us in the hall. We looked at each other confused, completely shocked by this situation. It was completely unclear what she wanted to say or what problem she had.
We sat there eating and people shouted at us for no reason at all. That was our last visit to this restaurant. I don't want the food from there anymore. Dealing with customers is terrible. This staff should still learn how to treat people politely and respectfully.

Very nice and friendly staff. The dishes chosen were very tasty (red curry and duck in bread) and the price was completely reasonable. The atmosphere is relatively urban, but still somehow cozy. All in all, highly recommended.
A very good meal, excellent service, who naturally fulfilled special requests, and a delicious wine at just the right temperature. And all this for a spontaneous lunch. I wasn't expecting this, as the Brandenburg countryside has a reputation for serving simple meals in a rather short manner. With this food, I could easily imagine taking a short weekend trip to Bernau – it's less than 30 minutes from Potsdamer Platz!
We had an appointment there with 6 people on Boxing Day (December 26th, 2023) and had previously ordered a table that was not set when we arrived. The menu consisted of 5-6 dishes and the food supply was almost exhausted by 3 p.m. In any case, there were no fries with mayo and 1-2 other dishes. The food we ordered was somehow still scraped together, at least that's what it looked like on the plate later. The portions were small and it was definitely way too expensive. We paid around €360 for the boring meal + a few drinks. 360€!!!
An unforgettable day. There was no Christmas spirit left. Even the effects of the drink were no longer in the mood and didn't affect us. If I had known this beforehand, I would have donated the money to a charitable organization instead of throwing it down the landlord's throat. Totally annoying! The toilets were dingy and outdated, like so much of the Adler. Workflows simply seemed unstructured and unprofessional. The waiter somehow made an effort and his overwhelm and discomfort were written all over his face, even though it was dead. At the same time, you could clearly observe the disappointed reactions and shaking of the heads of the other guests. Even an older woman passing by swore and told us about the store. Well, I'll leave it at this for now and won't go any further.
Conclusion: A super unpleasant stay! We neither got full nor did we leave the store “happy and satisfied” - quite the opposite.
Absolutely not recommended!
We have our Christmas party there every year and I'm there for breakfast every now and then.
Top food and the service always has a crappy saying in store.
Just a real corner pub with the charm of something special.
Simple but cool...
Unfortunately, there are no more rooms available. Instead, there is a self-service restaurant open from approximately 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., where lunch menus are available for €6-7, and sandwiches are available from the morning onwards. It is an inclusive establishment.
Are often at La Pampa. The food tastes very good and the service is very customer friendly. - and child friendly. Sometimes little magic tricks are shown, which the children are enthusiastic about. The ambience is OK, you could do more outside. We really like La Pampa because the food is tasty, the prices are right and it's within walking distance.
