Very nice restaurant The food was very good and the staff very accommodating

Parking spaces can be difficult to find in some places. Get a parking ticket. The public order office regularly patrols this area. It's a lovely little old town. We weren't familiar with this part of Bernau. The waitress in the restaurant was always polite, had a sense of humor, and was helpful. (I wanted some extra white bread 😅) The women's restroom is in need of some renovation. Especially under the sink, at the back of the wall, they need to take a closer look at the holes in the chipped tiles. (I don't want to say much more about that.) The food was absolutely delicious and the prices were completely reasonable. The main courses took a little too long to arrive. We recommend a visit. 😊

Here is the corrected and fair version: The service was very attentive, and as a small greeting from the kitchen, there was broccoli soup – very tasty and a really nice gesture. The burger was homemade, huge, and overall good – almost too big for my taste 😅. The mustard and mayonnaise sauce was okay, but nothing particularly tasty. I was a bit surprised by the price: I had seen a photo of the menu online on Google Maps that showed a price of €14 (although I didn't pay attention to the date). The burger actually came to €22.90 – that's quite a significant difference. If, like me, you want mayo and ketchup with the fries, it's an additional €2, and a 0.5-liter bottled Coke costs €6. Overall, not a cheap treat – the prices could be reconsidered, in my opinion. I really like the option to take leftovers home: You can borrow a lunch box for a €5 deposit – a sustainable concept! For out-of-town guests, a simple cardboard box might be helpful as an alternative. Overall, though, it's a good system.

We were curious and were there for the first time today. We were immediately informed that there was no menu or long drinks etc., which we very much regretted. There's something about the Dorfkrug that's somewhere between cozy and a lost place. The service was friendly and the other guests were obviously regulars. The prices are very fair, but unfortunately you can't find them anywhere. There is a dart machine and 2 slot machines. The location also has a smoking terrace, a cigarette machine as well as several toilets and a celebration hall. Occasionally, themed events such as 90s or Mallorca parties (from 16 with mother's license) take place here.

Recommended for in-between times, we are satisfied so far..
