Zum Zicken-Schulze in Bernau bei Berlin

Ich war im Restaurant. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt super. Der Service war sehr freundlich und lustig.

Eigentlich hatten wir uns im Internet ein anderes Restaurant rausgesucht, aber dort sah es uns zu trostlos aus. Dann sahen wir - zum Glück - freie Plätze beim „Zicken-Schulze“ und waren ausgesprochen positiv überrascht! Sehr netter Service, obwohl die Bedienung alleine war, leckeres Essen und man sitzt sehr schön bei den Linden! Rundum empfehlenswert!

Das Essen hat hervorragend geschmeckt und die Bedienung war äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam.

An einem Samstag wurde unsm mitgeteilt das um 18:55 es angeblich keine warme Küche mehr gibt. Das ist ein Armutszeugnis. Echt schade. Der Inder nebenan ist dagegen sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein wirklich tolles Restaurant. Das Essen war hervorragend, die Portionen großzügig und geschmacklich absolut überzeugend. Der Service war herzlich, aufmerksam und dabei angenehm unaufdringlich. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf Qualität und Gastfreundschaft gelegt wird. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Klare 5 Sterne!

Ungemütlich Restaurant, tolle Speisekarte und sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhätnis. Ordentliche Portionen und nett angerichtete Teller. Gut für einen Tagesausflug ab Berlin.

Sehr lecker gegessen und getrunken

Wir waren dort Essen und waren total begeistert Wiener Schnitzel mit Spargel, was für eine große Portion und die Menge an Spargel zu einen absolut fairen Preis. Einfach fabelhaft. Der Service, die Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit waren ebenfalls sehr sehr gut. Danke, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

Tolles Restaurant im Stadtkern von Bernau, Empfehlung für durstige Menschen ist Torwächter Bier und für den kleinen Hunger ist die Currywurst angebracht aber auch der Rest der Karte ist wirklich ansprechend und lecker, alle Teller waren restlos leer! Auch Danke für den Service! Freundliche Bedienung!

Zimmer kann ich nicht beurteilen, wir waren nur zum Abendessen.....

Bernau, nach Jahren habe ich auch mal wieder eine Kaufhalle gesehen. Tolle Einkaufsmöglikeiten.

Wir haben in der Gaststätte zu Mittag gegessen. Alle waren sehr zufrieden mit den Gerichten. Die Portionen waren sehr lecker und reichlich. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm und das Personal sehr freundlich.

It was great that the other place was closed... just what we were looking for! A lovely rustic atmosphere (Zille paintings that are always a pleasure to look at), relaxed, friendly, and unobtrusive hosts. And of course, the delicious food!!! An absolutely outstanding restaurant with incredibly delicious food. We all ordered a variety of dishes, from fish and vegetarian to veal liver, and we were all thrilled. We'll be back in Bernau and will be eating at Zicken-Schulze. Thank you very much!

Good food at fair prices with very friendly service.

Unfortunately, we discovered today that the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. It's nothing like the pictures from two years ago. The service was friendly and quick. Sure, frozen food can't take long to cook. But the price isn't justified. We probably won't be coming as often in the future. But that won't bother the owner much, as plenty of other people flock there. 3 stars for the service, 1 star for the food.

Parking spaces can be difficult to find in some places. Get a parking ticket. The public order office regularly patrols this area. It's a lovely little old town. We weren't familiar with this part of Bernau. The waitress in the restaurant was always polite, had a sense of humor, and was helpful. (I wanted some extra white bread 😅) The women's restroom is in need of some renovation. Especially under the sink, at the back of the wall, they need to take a closer look at the holes in the chipped tiles. (I don't want to say much more about that.) The food was absolutely delicious and the prices were completely reasonable. The main courses took a little too long to arrive. We recommend a visit. 😊

Unfortunately, the Zicken Schulze has declined considerably. It's become more of a regular bar. The two ladies are very unfriendly, and the quality of the food has declined considerably. We always enjoyed our visit, but we'll probably avoid the restaurant in the future.

2025 Disappointing visit to Zicken-Schulze I have eaten at the Hotel Restaurant Zicken Schulze several times in the past and was mostly satisfied. Regardless of whether it was Sunday, public holiday or during the week, the food was usually good. Unfortunately my visit today was a failure. I ordered a schnitzel of four, which didn't meet my expectations at all. The meat was soggy and the fried potatoes were cut way too thick, way too fatty and unfortunately not crispy at all. When I asked for a side salad, I was offered the option of ordering an extra salad bez in a bowl. Two salads for just under €7 each were surprising, as we actually assumed that a small side salad with the schnitzel was usual. We paid for this without complaint. The second dish, a Wiener-style schnitzel, was also disappointing. The breading was greasy, not nicely browned and, above all, not crispy. Here too, the fried potatoes had the same, unsatisfactory consistency: too thick, not crispy and too greasy. When we asked the waitress to please put the salad where the cutlery was, we received the unprofessional answer: "Yes, everyone can do that however they want." It's a shame that our visit today was so negative. We won't be visiting this restaurant again for the time being. Written in the summer of 23: "Friendly service and excellent food. Above all, the prices are great!" Christmas 23 will look different. Friendly service remains, food - see photo. No crispy skin, weak sauce and 1/2 duck was on the side dish - not possible at all. We had to hurry (because of passage II) and didn't have to make any effort. Let's hope the kitchen gets better (again).

Very nice, cozy inn, in a quiet location. There is still a lot going on there in the evenings, just as you know it from before. Price performance for food and accommodation is right here. Service very nice. Cook fantastic. The breakfast is also highly recommended. In the room above the restaurant you don't notice any of the hustle and bustle downstairs. Personally, I can only recommend it and hope that this inn continues like this for many years to come. THANKS

Went here at lunchtime to actually just have a coffee...the daily menu was so appealing that we couldn't help but have lunch here too...we didn't regret the decision...absolutely delicious...very filling...served quickly...what more could you want...also the service from the staff...nice...not intrusive...will definitely come back when we visit Bernau again...

I eat here regularly and, as a vegetarian, I am particularly enthusiastic about the changing offerings, which are offered creatively and with love in addition to the many meat dishes. The service is very attentive and positively personal. Here the guest feels welcomed, pampered and personally addressed. The food is of such high quality that I drive 70 km to meet up with business partners here so I can have a great meal.

As a local company, we had a spontaneous meal with 12 people. The atmosphere was appropriate for the city center, and the service was friendly and, especially during the meal, always open and accommodating to any questions. I think this is just the right place for a comfortable overnight stay with a full stomach in an environment with a certain heart for customers. Wir waren am 24. Juli mit unserem Enkelkind zum Mittagessen hier. Das Essen selbst war in Ordnung, auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war (noch) OK. Was uns gestört hat, war eine Reaktion der Bedienung nach dem Bezahlen der Rechnung: dem 6-jährigen Enkelkind gefiel die blaue, auffällig geformte Selters-Flasche so gut, dass sie die Bedienung fragte, ob sie sie behalten könne (Pfandwert: 15 Cent). Das wurde wenig freundlich abgelehnt - angesichts eines Trinkgeldes von 5 Euro eine kaum verständliche Entscheidung. Wir werden das nächste Mal woanders zum Mittagessen gehen.

We went here for lunch as part of a trip. We enjoyed lunch and it wasn't exceptional or high quality. The service person was alone and had to do it appropriately. The length of the terrace directly on a street is not an advantage, but rather a nuisance.

We arrived at 7:35 p.m. and were ignored by the service. When my husband went in to ask for menus, he was told very rudely that the kitchen had already closed. According to the internet, 8 p.m When he said it wasn't yet 8 p.m., the waitress complained that they didn't have a cook and that they had been working since 8 a.m. Incomprehensible.

The inn is located in the town center and the room is comfortably furnished. It's plain and simple, but still cozy. The breakfast is simple, but there is a small selection and you will be full. If you wish you can also get tea.

Today we celebrated our birthdays with ten people. Everyone was very happy with their food. The staff was also friendly and even small requests for changes to the food were happy to be fulfilled. Thank you for the perfect evening, we would love to come back.

Ich war heute mit meiner Frau dort essen leider mit sehr negativen Erfahrungen. Service war OK .Aber nun zum Essen wir hatten Tafelspitz mit Meerrettich Soße bestellt aber weder das Fleisch noch die Soße hatten damit annähernd was zu tun! Das Fleisch war ungenießbar es war wie Gummi und die Soße schmeckte nach nichts! Wir reklamierten das essen und bestellten neu jetzt Hähnchenbrust mit Pommes,das sar gut aus schmeckte auch aber leider befand sich dann unter dem Fleisch ein Haar . Also wenn man gut essen möchte sollte man dieses Restaurant eher meiden!! Für uns war es auf jeden Fall der erste und letzte Besuch!!!

Yesterday, after a few years, we went to the Zicken Schulze restaurant! This time we were again very satisfied with the food and the service, very friendly, courteous service, we felt very comfortable. But it's a shame the menu is become smaller (certainly due to Corona and the increased VAT) But what we chose from the menu was very tasty and well prepared, with plenty of salad garnish! The Zickenschulze was no longer in its place, I asked the server, it was getting old and would need to be repaired if it were still possible? But we found the furnishings and pictures on the walls very suitable for the name, just "Zicken". Schulze! We will definitely go there again, we found the houses and small streets in Bernau very beautiful anyway...
