Excellent sushi with outstanding quality. All ingredients are always very fresh and high-quality. Furthermore, the food is always beautifully presented.
Basically, a pretty nice restaurant with some serious flaws. We'd mostly walked past it before and decided to go in. The ambiance was fine and quite cozy.
Unfortunately, the trouble began immediately after the waitress seated us. It took a whopping 20 minutes before anyone even showed any interest in us. After noticing that someone was sitting there, we wisely decided to order both (drinks and food) at once. Thank goodness, because the wait for the food was already enormous at 45 minutes. If the quality of the food had been at least decent, I wouldn't say anything yet. The problem, however, was that it was so far off the mark that it was almost unbelievable.
We had the spare ribs, which arrived cold, tough, and with very little meat (3 bones with some meat on them).
We also had edamame, which were also quite cold, and grilled peppers with a limp texture and barely any seasoning.
The squid arm was charred at one end and chewy at the other.
The highlight, however, was the beef tartare, which was garnished with anchovies to seemingly add some flavor. It seems like it was an experiment that unfortunately failed completely in terms of taste.
All in all, one of the most negative experiences in Rosenheim's gastronomy. I can and will only advise everyone not to visit this restaurant. Also, because the service staff is so disorganized that they tried to bring us dessert without us ordering it, while the table next to us had also been waiting for their order for quite some time and were also completely ignored. An unparalleled impudence.
Not to mention that for this "experience," a three-figure bill for two people is served in the blink of an eye.
We've been coming here regularly for five years. The food is always so delicious; I highly recommend it. We love the spring rolls and the number 42. It's a dream. The duck tastes incredibly good; we've never been disappointed.
This was my first time at the Birkenhof. We were lucky with wonderful weather on a late summer Sunday. Parking was available right outside the front door. The restaurant was very tastefully and lovingly decorated, with a beautiful outdoor garden and plenty of flowers. It was very clean and well-maintained. We opted for the Sunday roast with a crispy crust, a Bavarian dream served on white china with white tablecloths – simply delicious – 5 stars, perfectly served with a wheat beer. For dessert, apple fritters with ice cream and strawberry panacotta – a perfect afternoon with very lovely company, and I don't mean the wine :-) Liza showed me a special place of culinary idyll. I would gladly come back. Selina was a very attentive waitress who anticipated our every wish ;-)
We ordered pizza through Lieferando. What was supposed to be a 35- to 55-minute delivery time turned into more than 2.5 hours, with no call and no apology! Thank goodness there's a wide selection of Italian restaurants in Schrobenhausen; we won't be ordering from Prosecco again!
Heard about it through a friend, went straight there and was amazed, what can I say. Wow. Chefe good mood Bavarian hospitality. The service was also on point and very friendly. We'll be back. This is a threat and promise 😃👍
We like to come here before a movie. The staff is always super friendly, the food is delicious, and the pizza has great crust! I was very pleasantly surprised :)
A Swiss sausage salad where I get sliced sausage and have to chop it up myself. It's almost like ordering a green salad and getting a whole head. It could be better. It tasted very delicious, though.
