The food was delicious, and the menu, or rather the cuisine in general, finally offers something new and varied in Nuremberg. However, it's also relatively expensive. Unfortunately, after the friendly greeting, we were ignored for the rest of the evening. As a result, we couldn't order any more drinks or dessert. After waiting for over an hour, we had to inform the staff at the counter that we wanted to pay.

Great place! Everything we tried was delicious. The staff is super friendly and attentive to your needs. The decor was incredible, with so many details in every corner of the restaurant. It has a unique vibe. There are vegetarian options, although the meat is top-notch! I had the ribs and the meat was perfect. I recommend the empanadas (ham) and/or the chicharrón as an appetizer. I'll definitely be back.

We had a pleasant dinner at Amazonas. As soon as you enter you are thrown in the south American vibe, with nice music and a very cosy environment. I had a nice chat with the waiter and he was easy going and friendly. The food, especially the Bandeja Paisa, was delicious! So were the cocktails. We will be back for sure

I've had the opportunity to visit several Latin American restaurants in Germany, and without a doubt, this is the one that comes closest to the flavors, experience, and atmosphere we're familiar with. It's not exactly the taste many of us are used to—it's definitely different—but the food is delicious. We know that sourcing many ingredients here isn't easy, and yet they still manage to adapt and present them beautifully. The service is friendly, and we really enjoyed the music. 🇨🇴 🥰

I'm so glad I found this restaurant. The food is delicious, authentic, and the menu is fantastic for getting a taste of South American cuisine. One visit quickly turned into two. Arepa: perfect Tequeños de jamón y queso: perfect entrada Horchata: delicious Bandeja Paisa: phenomenal Empanada de pollo: just like Mom used to make 100% recommended. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area.

We'd never eaten South American food before, so this was an experiment. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, and the drinks were also delicious. The service was very friendly, but it took a little longer than usual for everything to arrive. However, the restaurant was quite full. The ambiance is really lovely. The music was also a perfect fit. Parking is a bit tricky, but that's not the restaurant's fault. We'll definitely be back.

Very good food, great coktails and music, it feeling like a short holiday

The food was delicious, however, the portions were sometimes a bit small. It was sufficient for me and I didn't need any more, but the price was comparatively high, especially since most of the dish was a side salad. For people who eat more, the portion would most likely have been too small. The service was friendly, but unfortunately not very attentive, and no one asked if we were satisfied or if we wanted anything else to drink. The ambiance is very charming, done in an Amazonian style.

The arepas tasted really good, and the service was excellent, but the prices were completely exorbitant. I went there with my partner over the weekend – we each ordered two meat-filled arepas, a water, and a Coke. In total, we paid €80, which we felt was extremely expensive. Each arepa cost €16, without any sides (no salad, no extras, no additional sauces). Furthermore, the portion was only medium-sized, so there was nothing special about it that would justify the price. I understand that quality and good service come at a price, but here the value for money is simply not there. The food was tasty, yes, but at these prices, it's unfortunately not worth coming back. It's a shame, because the experience could have been fantastic if the prices had been more reasonable.

I absolutely loved this restaurant! First of all, the decor is simply gorgeous – you really feel like you're in the middle of the jungle, almost like the Amazon. I'm from Colombia, and it was so nice to find a place that serves Latin American food. For starters, we had beef empanadas, which were really delicious – especially with the green sauce. To drink, we ordered Agua de Jamaica, which was also super tasty! For my main course, I had a Bandeja Paisa – simply fantastic! It was completely complete, with arepita and everything. The chicharrón was perfect, the minced beef really flavorful and delicious – it honestly made me feel a bit like home. 🥹❤️ My boyfriend had the fried fish, a huge piece – but delicious! The portions are very large; I couldn't finish my Bandeja Paisa and took the rest home with me. The waitress was incredibly friendly, explained everything to us, checked on us several times, and really took care of us. She even packed my takeaway food beautifully. 💛 Food: 10/10 – Service: 10/10 I would definitely come back!

We discovered a new, very pleasant place for ourselves. The interior is extremely cozy and conveys the feeling of immersing yourself in the atmosphere of an exotic vacation. The food is delicious, the portions are large and filling. I had pescado frito – a very large, juicy, perfectly fried whole fish with a crispy crust. The cocktails were excellently mixed and served on a fun tray with a small crocodile. The staff was very friendly and attentive. You can feel the love for the ambiance and the attention to detail. I had Tequenos Clasico (cheese sticks) for starters and then the Parilla Argentina for the main course; both were excellent. We'll be back.

Ate here tonight, it was absolutely delicious. The beef tongue for starters was fantastic, with a great flavor and a very balanced herb vinaigrette. For main courses, we had short rib and pulled beef from Uruguay with black beans. Very juicy, well-seasoned, intense meat. The side dishes were also wonderfully seasoned. Highly recommended, we'll be back.

You've never tasted such good and healthy food. When you visit Amazonas Sabor Latino, you'll find an ambiance rarely seen in restaurants in the Nuremberg area.

Let's not get carried away. Just because Lieferando doesn't deliver on time is no reason to leave a bad review. Amazonas Sabor Latino offers authentic Latin American cuisine. As far as I know, it's the only one of its kind in Nuremberg. We thought the food was excellent. The decor is stylish and cozy. A slight point deduction was made for the Pina Colada we ordered (€10), which we found a bit bitter. A significant point deduction was made for the service. That evening, there was only one German-speaking server. A drink was forgotten, and we had to remind him twice to pay. This, combined with the typical Franconian lack of humor, was the biggest drawback, but also the least of our worries. Four stars and highly recommended. I'd gladly go back.

One of the best, most authentic, and unique restaurants in Nuremberg. Definitely in my top 10. Here you can get dishes you won't find anywhere else: typical Latin American dishes. Even the burgers and fries taste different (better!) than in all the burger joints downtown. I've already eaten there myself, and I've ordered once via Lieferando. Both times, the quality was excellent. I hope this place stays around for a long time!

The waiters are very friendly, although some of them don't speak German very well. Since we were obviously there for a birthday party, a small gift, such as a candle, would have been nice. Wir waren in einem sehr netten Garten gesessen und und wurden sehr freundlich bedient. Die landestypischen Koch Bananen, die überall drauf sind, schmecken nach unserer Wahrnehmung ziemlich langweilig. Das Steak war gut gekocht nicht super aber gut und die Gambas waren auch gut. Die Salatsauce war sehr lecker.

Unfortunately, it took a long time after we were seated before we were asked for our drinks. The meal at "A Journey Through South America" ​​for two people was quite good. This is a great restaurant. In summary, they are a victim of their own success. Let me explain. The food is super delicious. This creates an environment where everyone wants to give there and eat, but the service suffers the consequences. The amount of waiters is not appropriate for a restaurant with this much customer volume. So at times we felt a little neglected by the staff and we had to wait a long time, just to receive a simple Cola. The staff is super friendly and I felt at home.

This is not a tray unfortunately. It's bad like chili con carne. Ground beef filled with a tomato sauce with beans and yellow rice. For those looking for a Colombian paisa tray. It's not here. So you know before ordering and more for 27 eur.

A little piece of Venezuela in Nürnberg ❤️ The decoration, atmosphere and music make you feel like you were in Venezuela a few years ago. They have beautiful relics decorated. The service is very friendly. Even though they are elaborate meals, the service is fast. And the taste is delicious. The prices are high for the portions but you have to take into account that they are rare ingredients in Germany and they are expensive ingredients. So it's understandable. Everything was delicious! The flavor is a 10/10 except for the tequeños which felt like it was not a homemade dough. But the fried fish, the phosphorera, the tostones, the meat, the slices, the pina colada and the juices 100% recommended!

Where do all the stars come from? We were there for the first and last time. Ambiance is ok if you ignore the dirty plates for the starter. They actually managed to serve us ONE drink in 2 hours. Although we ordered food, the starter arrived after 40 minutes and unfortunately there was no main course. We didn't have that much time. So the food was bad for me! Several people left the restaurant with us; they were just as satisfied as we were.

The drinks arrived after 40 minutes and the food after 2.5 hours. The food was really incredibly tasty, but it certainly doesn't make up for the waiting time. We also had to wait almost 30 minutes until we could order new drinks. I don't know if I would go again. If the service was better it would be a great place.

Very tasty South American food!

Booked a table online a day in advance. When we arrived we were told that no bookings could be accepted as the restaurant was full. The system didn't even check to see if there was a reservation, but was immediately denied. It wasn't just us, several groups were refused a table. Employees don't want to take responsibility, there wasn't even an apology. We even showed him a confirmation and his reaction was that this is an automated email from the restaurant. No manager in the restaurant and no one to take care of concerns. Wouldn't recommend anyone to eat here. Nobody needs to be treated so badly.

Amazing Sabor Latino!! I didn’t think I’d be able to find Venezuelan food in Nürnberg that has such an authentic flavor :) it really brought me back to my childhood. The portions are big, I had to take some home and the service was very nice, even though the kitchen had closed by the time we arrived they made an exception for us. For me the tequeños and empanadas already had surprised me but the pabellón was the highlight of my night. The atmosphere and decor is really nice and cozy and I love the smell as soon as you walk in. I didn’t see arepas on the menu, so I hope they can add them in the future as my wife would’ve loved to have some. I definitely wish there would be more vegetarian options as my wife is also vegetarian and I hope they do another cachapa day as I saw on Instagram!! Definitely will come back soon!!
