I highly recommend this restaurant and love coming here to eat.
Everything is freshly prepared and can be customized to your liking, for example, if you'd like it less spicy. There's a very wide selection of delicious dishes.
The owner and his staff are extremely friendly and attentive.
All dishes are also available for takeout.
You get generously sized portions for your money.
The restaurant is a bit small, but nicely decorated. Therefore, it's best to call ahead and make a reservation if you're coming with a group.
Parking is recommended either at the train station or in the large Berger parking lot, as there's no parking directly in front of the restaurant. As I said, I'm very satisfied.
It was our first time there. The service and food were good. The ambiance was okay for us. When the weather's nice, you can sit outside. We received attentive and friendly service. We would probably go back.
We ordered two dishes for takeaway, and they were ready very quickly. Really large portions for a low price, but absolutely delicious. I can recommend it 😋
We were even able to eat there at 6:30 pm without a reservation, a party of four, which we found very positive. It was probably due to the day of the week (Tuesday) and the time of year. We can confirm the very friendly and attentive staff, the surprisingly diverse German menu (unfortunately not available online), and the excellent quality of the food. What unfortunately lowered our rating was the temperature in the restaurant. My wife was cold, so we had to leave after only an hour.
We reserved a table for three with our dog at short notice. We were seated at the back of the restaurant so the dog could lie quietly under the table.
The staff was very attentive. We ordered three drinks, an appetizer platter, risotto, and two main courses. The risotto was excellent.
Unfortunately, we had to wait almost an hour for our main courses after the appetizers. While they apologized repeatedly, what if guests arrive later and receive their meals first?
We paid €85.
In short: nice restaurant, friendly service, good food, but not exceptional for the price.
Small and cozy. The food is very good, the chef is very attentive and even asks guests about their needs. The schnitzel and pork shoulder are excellently prepared; both are highly recommended. A few minor points, which should be considered comments rather than criticism: no napkins and no one asking about drinks. If both of these were provided, the service would be five stars. A slight deduction for the fries, as they were over-seasoned.
"Gyros with chicken" with bread comes in three variations.
It's time to revise the menu. Maybe put numbers in front of them. Then there won't be any misunderstandings.
I'm not lying, but I was already annoyed when I ordered the 7-euro meal and then got the huge dish. They're both called the same thing. Dish = food. And doner kebab or pide with doner kebab is also food/dish for 7 euros. Now, let it be, and peace be with you.
