Delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere and with very attentive staff.

We waited over 45 minutes for the food, and only when I raised my hand did the second server realize that no order had been forwarded to the kitchen. I think we're human and make mistakes, but what's NOT OK is not apologizing. The food arrived 10 minutes later, so we waited almost an hour for the food. The food tasted excellent!!! But the service was completely out of touch.

We were there for the first time. Thankfully we made a reservation in advance; it was full. Card payments weren't possible that evening; there seemed to be a problem with the cash register. The pizza was very tasty and large. We wanted dessert and an espresso, but despite making ourselves known, we weren't served. Even though our glasses were empty, we weren't asked if we wanted anything else. The service was poor. It was also very loud in the restaurant; it was difficult to have a conversation. All in all, I have to say that whether we'll go there again is anyone's guess... It's just not acceptable to be ignored as a customer or guest. It's a shame, because the pizza was delicious.

We were invited here for a birthday party. The restaurant isn't exactly in the center of the world, but it was busy. And rightly so: very good food, whether pizza, pasta, or fish dishes. Everything was of very good quality – and the service was pleasant and friendly. Highly recommended

Monday is a day off. But you still organized the funeral services for a friend – and conjured up a fantastic buffet.

The pizza was very good and very large. I felt the portion size of my main course was too small. The starter was also very good. The tiramisu was fantastic. It was the best I've ever eaten. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely eat there again.

We always enjoy coming here: great food, great service and very nice staff who still put their heart into their work. Rather inconspicuous from the outside, but still a real dolce vita inside!

Very good Italian food at a fair price. Service is always friendly and charming, although sometimes a bit understaffed. Sometimes it's quite cold in the shop.

A very warm welcome, even from the manager. While we waited, we were even offered drinks and had a very pleasant conversation. The food is worth mentioning: the best pizza in all of Freising. I highly recommend everyone go there and try it; you won't regret it.

Looks nice, but unfortunately we got a pizza instead of the pasta we ordered and then had to pay for the more expensive pizza. This is an outrage, service is actually 0 stars. It's a shame, because the rest was really tasty and the pizzas were nice and big.

Perfect Italian experience! We absolutely loved the Don Giovanni in Freising! The pizza was excellent – ​​crispy base, perfectly topped and really authentic. The service was incredibly friendly, attentive and always had a smile on their faces. The employees are always up for a little fun, which made the evening particularly pleasant. To top it all off, we had one of the best tiramisu we've ever had - a dream! Absolutely recommended, we will definitely come back!

We came across this restaurant by chance as I saw the good reviews here on Google, remarkable restaurant, good friendly service, great and well decorated, the food was very tasty but to top it all off was Saverio's son of the boss Anthony, friendly, well trained and very welcoming and a lot of fun, we will definitely come back and I hope Anthony will serve us

Pizza cheese was terrible. Instead of tomato sauce there was tomato paste?!? Pasta with salsiccia sausage, lukewarm with 5 pieces of sausage at 17 euros?!? And the house wine was not good quality. We're not coming anymore.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Don Giovanni Restaurant and happened to meet the owner. An extremely respectful and polite person who takes excellent care of his guests. The food was excellent and the service was really attentive - I felt like I was with family. I can highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!

We were there on Sunday evening (reservation only). It was very nice. The staff is friendly and attentive. The starter (antipasti) could be improved. The pizzas are very good and large. I really liked the ambience because it still has something of the old brewery.

After 3 days of eating Bratwurst and Kartoffeln we needed some Italian food! The pizzas are good, the minestrone and the pasta are good. The tiramisu was decent even if a little too "creamy" for my tastes. Extremely polite and friendly staff, quick service. The cocktails are also good (we took Spritz and Hugo)

A great pizzeria! I had a Pinsa Valtellina. The floor was wonderfully crispy and soft at the same time and no expense was spared when it came to the covering. I haven't had pizza this good in a long time! Afterwards there was a schnapps on the house. I will gladly come again!

Pizza was good and sufficient. The service was also quite nice, and at the end there was a shot on the house. However, you could have asked in between if we needed anything else. But there was also a lot of activity. Otherwise it was good. There were quite a few mosquitoes outside in the evening, but there are also tables inside and it is very nicely decorated. You can pay by card there and there are also parking spaces.

Food always good and served quickly. The service was attentive, very friendly and on the ball! You can always see the boss buzzing around and regularly asking if everything is okay. Pizzas are big, tasty and very inexpensive! Any uneaten pizza will be packed up and given away. The ambience will probably be optimized soon, but everything else is pallet, keep it up! 😃👍

We had lunch at Don Giovanni's today. Very extensive lunch menu, with lots of pizza and pasta dishes. The dishes come with either salad or soup. I had the spaghetti with pesto, which was excellent. Very good service. You immediately feel a bit like you are in Italy.

Best restaurant/pizzeria far and wide. If you want better pizza you have to go to Puglia/Southern Italy. Super nice boss Saverio and waitress Antonio. Good prices/great ambience

For me the restaurant is an absolute “insider tip” An (almost) unbeatable price-performance ratio. Especially since many restaurants have increased prices and reduced portions. Very good and plentiful dishes in a clean and cozy atmosphere, where not only the service staff but also the boss make sure everything is done. Even special requests are no problem. The typical Italian family friendliness, including appropriate humor, gave us a wonderful evening with friends. Gladly again at any time!!!

Horrible experience, the waiters are always in bad mood and aggressive like they don’t like your presence. They don’t guide you to the table, dirty cutlery, not tissues… I felt even uncomfortable for ask a simple glass of water. The food is good but too expensive, long time waiting and for just one glass of water almost 5 euros. You can avoid this restaurant for sure.

Preis-Leistung meiner Meinung nach nicht stimmig/zutreffend. Die Pizzen waren leider lauwarm - kalt und der Salat … na ja, eben nichts besonderes. Das Ambiente spricht mich in dieser Preisklasse leider überhaupt nicht an. Es wirkt alles sehr kalt und überhaupt nicht einladend.

Freundliche Italienische Gaststätte

Wer temperamentvolles italienisches Flair liebt ist hier richtig. Wir hatten wahrscheinlich nur einen ungünstigen Abend erwischt und saßen mangels Reservierung in der unmittelbaren Nähe zur Küche. Es war ziemlich laut, was aber auch den Räumlichkeiten geschuldet ist. Dunst und sämtliche Düfte der Küche zogen an uns vorbei. Alle waren wahnsinnig fleißig und bemüht. Das war deutlich zu erkennen. Aber man brauchte schon ein bisschen Geduld. Das Essen war gut und heiß, der Nachtisch lecker. Insgesamt leider nur 3 Sterne fürs Ambiente. Sorry!

American family in Germany. This is THE BEST food and atmosphere that we had our entire 10 days in Germany, and it was Italian! I cannot recommend this place enough! You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu! The family was so friendly and generous. If you have a layover in Munchen, you should eat here!!!

Schön eingerichtetes italienisches Restaurant in Freising/Lerchenfeld. Sehr schneller und freundlicher Service trotz hohem Andrang am Abend. Dazu eine hervorragende Pizza. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Ramazotti Rosato, Nudelgerichte, Pinsa und Nachtisch sind traumhaft und die Kellner große Klasse. Kommen immer wieder gerne her!

Waren mit einer großen Gruppe da, Pizza waren lecker (Teig etwas geschmacklich neutral…) , Service gut und die Lasagne konnte man auch essen Warum 3 und nicht mehr Sterne? - Preise allgemein sehr teuer für eine Pizzaria ( normale Pizza 13€ und besondere bis 20€) - ein Glas Cola 0,4 l für glatte 5€ !!! Wo alle Saftschorlen 3,90€ kosten. Zumal Cola zu dem Preis nicht in der Karte….

Das alte Bauhaus über die vollständig neu gestaltet. Die Kupferrohre sind noch da, aber alles andere ist neu. Die Speisekarte ist kreativ, ich weiss nicht ob ich mir anmassen darf zu sagen "typisch italienisch", aber ja für einen deutschen toll in gewisser Weise wie erwartet. Es gibt auf jeden Fall höherpreisige und tolle Speisen, mit Trüffel, Carpaccio, ich hatte die Kaninchenschenkel, auch noch eine sehr grosse Portion. Es gibt aber auch günstigere Sachen, man hat also die freie Wahl. Wirklich freundlicher Service, herzlich, es hat uns wirklich sehr gut gefallen.

Haben eine Familienfeier in der Freisinger Stube (stilvolles und behagliches Nebenzimmer) gehabt. Alles hat perfekt geklappt, die Wirtsleute sind zuverlässig, fleißig, sehr freundlich und herzlich! Wir hatten Bruschetta als Vorspeise, Pizza pane zum Knabbern auf den Tischen und als Pasta wahlweise Tagliatelle al ragú oder Cannelloni ricotta e spinaci. Beides hat hervorragend geschmeckt! Eine echte Empfehlung!,

Mega Essen,Mega Wein,Mega Service Immer zu empfehlen

Gleich zu Jahresbeginn waren wir mit fünf Personen im Restaurant. Service war top, sämtliche bestellte Speisen waren sehr lecker und alle waren hoch zufrieden. Klitzekleiner Kritikpunkt: das Weinsortiment. Hoffentlich dauern die Renovierungsarbeiten nicht allzu lange - wir freuen uns nämlich schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

Das Essen bei Don Giovanni war so gut, dass wir gleich an 3 Tagen hintereinander hier gegessen haben! Besonders kann ich die Pinsa empfehlen und auf der Tageskarte gibt es auch immer eine super Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten.

Schönes Ambiente aber sonst leider nicht wirklich gut .. Das Essen eher mittelmäßig da ist noch jede Menge Luft nach oben.. Personal total überfordert .. vielleicht etwas weniger Gäste annehmen oder einfach mehr Personal einstellen..

Das zweite Mal hier. Bisher nur Pizza gegessen, die uns in guter Erinnerung war. Dieses Mal Pasta mit Lachs. Leider waren nur wenig Lachs in der Pasta vorhanden. Und in dem wenig vorhandenen Lachsstücken waren sehr viele Gräten. Nein danke, bei dem Preis erwarte ich mir Lachs ohne oder wenigen Gräten. Die Gläser waren auch ein wenig klebrig, der Service nur zu zweit sehr hektisch und verplant. Die Schänke war mit drei Personen (zwei Damen ein Herr) übermäßig gut und entspannt besetzt? Wenn wieder dann vielleicht zu einer Pizza mehr nicht.
