We've been coming here for years and always love it. The food is fantastic. It's a very small restaurant, so reservations are recommended, especially during peak hours. They have delicious, imaginative drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. I particularly enjoy the jasmine tea, served authentically in a teapot, and they also have excellent homemade lemonades. We also love the appetizers – the crispy wontons are delicious. There are many vegetarian options, although I didn't find any vegan choices on the menu. You'd probably have to ask about those. In any case, there were plenty of tasty dishes for our daughters, who have been vegetarians for a long time.
And the service is attentive and always available. That's not something you can take for granted in today's restaurant scene :).
Yesterday was our third visit to this restaurant after the thermal baths. All three times we arrived around 9 pm (yesterday at 10:00 am), a little later, but the kitchen was still open (we even asked). The food is really good, but the waiter is so unfriendly that we won't be going back. Perhaps they should just close at 9 pm if the waiter doesn't want to serve any more customers, but treating paying customers like that is outrageous. ☺️
The dürüm was really delicious, thanks in large part to the excellent flatbread. HOWEVER, badly burnt pieces of meat have no place in it! It was very busy, and the rotisserie was on full blast; burnt bits can happen, but they shouldn't end up in the finished product! The food itself is theoretically very tasty, but the organization and the staff behind the preparation were rather poor! Therefore, unfortunately, only 3 stars.
Another update, December 25th: Cucina has always been very appealing on our several visits. Today we finally had pizza; the Diavola was excellent (both the dough and toppings were delicious). It could have been a bit crispier, though. The spicy salami was generously portioned.
We also thoroughly enjoyed the Cannonau after a few minutes of careful breathing. The espresso, however, was and remains disappointing (a new machine would probably help).
Service was quick and friendly. Lively and pleasant atmosphere. The outdoor seating is also lovely in warmer weather.
A tip: try the 'Rimini Speciale' aperitivo, which has been offered for many years for good reason.
An unassuming sports restaurant and, in my opinion, the best Asian food ever. Authentic, delicious, not expensive, and very friendly service. You can't ask for more. Unfortunately, we don't live here, otherwise we'd be here every week. Absolutely recommended, and we'll definitely be back on vacation.
The food was very good. The ambiance, unfortunately, was very bland. The tables could have been set with more care. It would also be nicer if the owner wore a shirt instead of a sloppy t-shirt, and if the waiter wasn't wearing sweatpants. Sorry!
Otherwise, everything was fine.
