Restaurant Ararat in Nürnberg

I've been there several times and highly recommend it. The food is delicious, and on Saturdays there's live music with Russian commentary. Of course, you can still dance even if you don't understand the language. ;)

Delicious, incredibly fun, friendly staff! Highly recommended!

We were there on a Sunday lunchtime. There were plenty of empty seats. The menu had pictures, and the staff also spoke Russian. Relatively fast. Very tasty. The only downside was the atmosphere. It was very uninviting. Apparently, the hall is more suited for larger celebrations or banquets. It was also chilly, but bearable. Overall, it's still a five.

Everything was wonderful!!!! Except for the extremely loud music. The food was delicious and plentiful, the salads fresh. The service was very attentive.

The shashlik was cooked to perfection, and the shachapuri was simply amazing. Everything we ordered tasted fantastic. It's truly rare that everything comes together so perfectly: the taste, the quality, the atmosphere, and the service. We often eat Georgian or Slavic food, but this was by far the best restaurant we've ever tried. Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back! 👌🏼

We recently celebrated a birthday here. If you like to dance, this is the place for you. The atmosphere was great the previous times, but unfortunately, there weren't that many people last time, and the dance floor was empty. Also, there was no live band, but there was a DJ, or rather, our phone was plugged in at some point because the 'DJ' was a staff member 😂 The food, unfortunately, used to be better. You don't pay a lot, and you always end up with too much left over, which is a shame. The basic idea is cool, but maybe it should be reconsidered.

We went to your restaurant with friends for the first time yesterday. The food was absolutely delicious – the meat was juicy, the salads were fresh, everything was top-notch! Five stars from us! Thank you for the great atmosphere and the truly delicious food. 😊

Ararat is very modern and has excellent cuisine. The owner is very friendly and takes great care of guests. The service is very kind and respectful. The music makes your evening fantastic.

I invited my friends here because I wanted to introduce them to Armenian culture. We really enjoyed the food and the service. We were actually happy with everything except the music, which has nothing to do with our culture.

We celebrated our parents' golden wedding anniversary here, and our expectations were far exceeded. A fantastic team, perfect organization, and a beautiful ambiance made this special day unforgettable. Many thanks to the entire team!

Not recommended Poor cuisine, the quality is no longer as tasty as described in the other reviews and the food doesn't look good either. And then support the AfD as an Armenian. The owner should ask himself whether he shouldn't turn everything back again in order not to lose his long-standing regular customers. I won't come back like this!

The restaurant knowingly hosts the right-wing extremist party AFD. Personally, I won't visit this restaurant again until she distances herself from it. It's a shame it was always quite tasty.

It tasted like it had been warmed up in 1933 and somehow everything smelled slightly of fascist. Probably still in the air from the last AfD meeting there.

Can't recommend a visit, as you'll often encounter AfD and right-wing extremists. There are even AfD events taking place there. Sorry, but I don't want to let it ruin my meal!

Knowingly allowing AfDlers to be guests should quickly spoil your desire to visit there ;-)

Was invited to an event with dinner, the dinner was very good for the mass crowd. The boss is a die-hard, proud Armenian and has complete control over his shop. Courteous, polite. Enthusiastic about Ararat and believes in Noah's Ark - 5 stars extra for that. PS: The dips can still be improved :-)

Catastrophe!!! New Year's Eve celebration 140€ adults and 70€ children! Unfortunately I had to put a star so that I could write a review, otherwise it's zero! I'll never go to this place again. 1. no idea about tablecloths when it comes to New Year's Eve and the Armenian language is really upsetting, 2. totally unfriendly boss we have to pay for dessert and cappuccino which is amazing our group paid almost €3000 and everyone was dissatisfied! There was neither fruit nor dessert! They brought a fish dish at 2:00 a.m. Who else is going to eat that??? So no idea about gastronomy, never again from all of us! Cut a piece of Restaurant Legend something!!!!

It has nothing to do with Armenian restaurant, it should have been called NashaRasha and not Ararat. The New Year's Eve celebration was simply a disaster, never again.

The table was reserved in advance... The food 🥘 is very, very tasty! As my friends promised me, the food is at the highest level... Very clean restaurant, beautiful ambience. The beautiful interior with white-covered chairs shows that you are here to celebrate and not just have a quick snack. There is a wonderful terrace available for smoking breaks. From 7 p.m. live music plays and the dance floor opens for active guests. The girls on stage have powerful voices and leave nothing to be desired. The service is top. The employees always try to leave no wish unfulfilled. The food is delicious and you don't have to wait 2 hours for the first dish to arrive.

We went here with family today and I can safely say that this is the only place where I enjoyed the food extremely well. I usually rarely write reviews, but this time I wanted to write one. Very nice restaurant with mega, mega delicious food and a great atmosphere. Khatchapuri was so perfect and the khinkalis tasted just like in Georgia. The meat was excellent. Without exaggeration, this was simply the best lunch. Definitely recommended!

The food was good but you couldn't decide for yourself what and when you wanted to eat one thing or another. This isn't worth the money. Music too loud and poorly tuned. For 2 people €150 is way too expensive.

The Ararat restaurant exceeded all our expectations. Beautiful decoration, delicious food, impeccable service and excellent music, as well as a friendly, cheerful atmosphere made our birthday celebration a pleasant event. We will definitely visit again if the opportunity arises.

The only Armenian thing about this restaurant was the waiter's nose (very high!) No joy or hospitality at the reception, arrogant demeanor. Despite a reservation and the fact that we were there alone, the waiting time for the food to be served was a full 50 minutes. The price-performance ratio is far too high. The name Ararat has nothing to do with typical Armenian dishes. Overall not worth the effort.

Written on the website and on Google that the restaurant is open on Sundays until 10:00 p.m. We brought six friends for dinner at 4pm and were greeted by a closed door. Nobody answered the phone. We wasted an hour on the road.

Wir haben heute 60 Geburtstag gefeiert. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Personal sehr nett und freundlich, sind auf unsre Wünsche eingegangen. Die Musik war auch ganz toll. Immer wieder gerne. Ein ganz großes Dankeschön.

Der Raum war sehr schön dekoriert. Das Gegrillte war sehr gut, leider waren die Salate sehr fad gewürzt. Das Personal war nicht gerade freundlich wenn man nicht russisch sprach. Ich bestellte ein alkoholfreies Weizenbier und bekam ohne das wir was gesagt wurde ein alkoholfreies normales Bier

Heute haben meine Freundin und ich dieses wunderbare Restaurant zum ersten Mal besucht. Hübsche Räumlichkeiten, freundliches Personal. Ein köstliches kaukasisches Abendessen mit exzellentem georgischem Wein, am Ende des Abends spendierte uns der Besitzer einen berühmten armenischen Brandy. Wir haben vor kurzem dieses Restaurant besucht und ich muss sagen es gab viel positives aber auch leider einige negativen Sachen. Ich fange mal mit dem positiven an: Der Innenraum ist schön und geschmackvoll dekoriert (obwohl die Deco eher an eine Hochzeit erinnert hat). Wir hatten das Menü bestellt, das essen war ausreichend und wirklich sehr lecker (Kompliment an den Koch). Man muss aber beachten dass das Essen nicht für jede einzelne Person bereitgestellt wird sondern abgezählt für alle am Tisch ( z.B bei 10 Personen = 10x gefüllte Blinis, 10x Chatschapuri usw.) d.h wenn mir etwas sehr gut geschmeckt hätte dürfte ich nicht mehr als meine Portion essen da es dann für jemand anderen nicht mehr gereicht hätte. Die Kellnerinnen sind sehr flink und Freundlich, das Beste war aber die Live Musik der Band KRUIS, die Stimme der Frau einfach Hammer. Nun zu den Negativen Sachen: als wir ankamen wurden wir vom Besitzer auf die unfreundlichste und Arroganteste Art und Weise in Empfang genommen die ich in meinem ganzen Leben noch nicht erfahren musste, wir hatten uns sogar kurzzeitig überlegt das Restaurant sofort zu verlassen und wo anders Essen gehen, da wir aber Gäste einer größeren Geburtstagsgesellschaft waren haben wir uns dann doch notgedrungen dazu entschieden zu bleiben. Nach dem schmackhaften Essen freuten wir uns alle auf das im Menü angegebene Dessert mit einem Kaffee da kam aber leider nichts, auf die Frage beim Besitzer wann das Dessert kommt kam nur eine Antwort „ gibt’s nicht!“ was soll man dazu noch sagen bei einem Menü von 45 € pro Person nur für das Essen, alkoholische Getränke kommen natürlich noch on top ist das nicht akzeptabel!!! Der Abschuss kam aber beim Bezahlen als unser Gastgeber die Rechnung von immerhin knapp 700 Euro bezahlen wollte hieß es vom Besitzer nur Barzahlung! Wer um Himmelswillen geht mit so viel Bargeld in ein Restaurant. Alle Gäste mussten dann alles Geld was sie in Bar dabei hatten zusammenlegen um die Rechnung zu bezahlen, für unseren Freund war dies mehr als peinlich! Jeder sollte sich natürlich selber ein Bild von diesem Restaurant machen, wir werden aber definitiv nicht wieder kommen und es auch nicht weiter empfehlen. Preis Leistung stimmt einfach NICHT.

Wir sind Zufrieden. Schöne Atmosphäre und leckeres Essen. Musik war super. Die Salate sind etwas klein für die Anzahl von Personen. Mein Mann ist 1 Std. Vor Schluss gekommen und musste auch den vollen Preis bezahlen das fand ich nicht so schön da er für das Geld nichts erhalten hat. Er hat unser Essen gegessen 😅. Wofür die 40€ waren keine Ahnung. Nachtisch gab es wir im Menü auch leider nicht. Ich finde das Essen wird allgemein zu schnell hintereinander serviert.
