N9 hotels in Nürnberg

Good location. Good rooms. Good price. It is very noisy from outside throughout the night every night.

Received impersonally. Broken blinds and window that doesn't close properly. Unfortunately, when we left the hotel we weren't even asked “How our stay was?”

My wife and I stayed at the N9 Hotel for two nights for the Christmas market last weekend, which we booked in May. We arrived here in about ten minutes on foot from the main train station. Check-in takes place at a machine in front of the door. Due to the weather and the very slow system, this took a few minutes. When we finally opened the door with the room card, we were surprised that there was a reception that was also occupied. Why is this so complicated? Whatever, go back to the room. This was quickly reached by elevator and was surprisingly large; also the bathroom! Here we compare similar budget hotels, such as: B. Motel One. Basically everything was clean. Only one spot on the TV and the heater in the bathroom was dusty (probably the cleaner can't reach here?!). The bed is big and comfortable. There is a small refrigerator where we could store our travel provisions. This has a glass door, light and hums quietly. The power cable was quickly unplugged for the night. The TV also worked as it should. Then there is a large cupboard, a table and a shelf. So there is enough storage space and storage space for a few days. After we turned up the heating in the bathroom, the floor tiles also became pleasantly warm. The shower is spacious and works as it should. There is only a small shelf at the sink. We would have liked more space. Even though we were on the second floor and directly facing the street, outside noise hardly reached us. There were only a few guests on the first night who felt at home. But we have already experienced this elsewhere. And then it quickly became quiet. Based on the reviews, we didn't have breakfast here at the hotel. There is a relatively large restaurant area. This was not very busy at breakfast time on both days. We looked for something in the area; There are plenty of options within a ten-minute walk. Otherwise the situation is 1B for us. An S-Bahn station can be reached quickly directly behind the city gate. We quickly walked to the Ferris wheel (Christmas market) and to the shopping street. There are many restaurants in the surrounding area. Okay, there were already some “dark figures” walking around here in the evening. However, this can be found in every major city near the train station and where there is something going on... Overall we were satisfied with the stay.

Overall Review The shortcomings of the 24-hour reception are very evident. The tone and manner of customer service are absurd and infuriating including lies. 1. I asked the staff to keep the expensive butter that I bought in Paris and carried around in an ice bag for a month when I checked in. Since this hotel does not have a 24-hour reception, there was no staff when I checked out. I called the number, but they said it was an emergency call and that they could not handle it. In the end, I went to the hotel's freezer myself, but there was no butter there. 2. The hotel blamed me that I did not inform all the staff at the hotel that I had left the butter and take care of it in advance. 3. I held back my anger and asked them to send the items to my home overseas. 4. Since it was not allowed under quarantine laws, we mutually agreed that the hotel would send the items to another region in Germany. 5. I called them after almost a week had passed without a reply. The hotel said that they cannot answer calls on Sundays and told me to call on Monday. 6. When I called on Monday, they suddenly said something strange, saying that they couldn't send it overseas due to quarantine laws. So I reminded them that we had agreed to send it to another part of Germany, but the hotel said they didn't have time to send it and just hung up the phone. I wouldn't have gotten the refund I was supposed to get if I hadn't asked for it the day before I checked out. This hotel is really absurd.

Great location: 10 minutes from the train station, 10 minutes from the Christmas market. Staff very nice and helpful. Rooms simple, nice and clean. Check in via machine at the door. Unfortunately, neither the heating nor the external blinds worked in room 405. However, you can skip breakfast for 15 euros... you get a pre-made tablet with 2 rolls, 2 slices of sausage, a hard egg, typical Packerl jam,...

Nice and clean room. Everything very new. Comfortable beds, plenty of heating, mini fridge and coffee maker with complimentary coffee. Water machine on the ground floor. Self-contained entrance and excellent location.

Excellent room, modern, clean and comfortable. The location is excellent for visiting the city, close to everything on foot and good access to transport. Very good quality-price ratio. The automatic check-in machine abroad is very simple to use and has several languages. Excellent Wi-Fi in the room. Room with good space and large bathroom. I recommend and will be back.

Relatively dirty in some places in the room and the staff wasn't really friendly or competent

Good location, you can quickly walk into the city and there are various places to stop for refreshments in the immediate vicinity. Our room was very clean and functionally furnished. It may be missing. Storage space in the bathroom but that is no reason for points to be deducted. Depending on the location of the rooms, there may be some street noise, but this is not unusual given a central location. The bed was definitely very comfortable. Rooms are well equipped, small kettle, fridge. Everything very new. The opening hours in the restaurant are not correct because it wasn't open in the evening. Breakfast was good and basically. Everything was available but at 15 euros it was quite expensive. You have to reserve it in advance, that's not a bad thing, but you have to know. Luckily for us it still worked out spontaneously for several groups. The owner very friendly. I find parking quite expensive, but similar prices in the parking garage, which is not far away - but there is a cheaper weekend rate in the parking garage, depending on when you are there. I would definitely stay here again. I found value for money for Nuremberg and the location to be ok.

A bit difficult to check in online because there is a restaurant nearby and access to the machine can be blocked by customers. Communication through the intercom is very difficult, the sound quality is very poor, the interlocutor cannot be heard clearly.

The rooms are large and modernly furnished. There is also a refrigerator. Before booking, I asked about the possibility of having breakfast at the hotel, which was answered in the affirmative. Prices were also mentioned. When we arrived, weeks later, the brief information came: "We don't offer breakfast in August" - great. There is also little choice in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. An info to the booking email address - none. For us as motorcyclists that was very, very bad. Conclusion: It is not yet clear where we will book next time. The only thing that is clear is where we will definitely not be booking again, namely in the N9H.

Price performance great for me! I was a little afraid, because it is one of the cheapest places to stay in Nuremberg, but it exceeded my expectations. Staff supwr pleasant, rooms clean, also coffee service, towels, especially no problem with accommodation for children and cots for free. Supwr location to the center a few minutes walk, parking around the corner with a discount. The only thing that could be criticized are the very soft beds and the depression in the middle of the double bed, I do not recommend it for children, the cot is better.

Cozy hotel with a convenient location. Friendly staff, there is a restaurant. Very clean and has everything you need for your stay.

Next to the Opera metro, 10 minutes from the main train station and 20 minutes max from the bus station. Modern rooms, large with all the comforts that a simple room should have. Next to the center of the city, in 10 minutes on foot you have arrived.

Decent hotel on the wall of the old town. If you open the windows it gets quite loud. The mattresses are very soft in our opinion.

**Cleanliness:** The bathroom fittings are clean and limescale-free. However, there are questionable stains on the stool. More frequent dusting is also recommended (see pictures). **Service:** I wanted to cancel a month before, which was only possible with 100% cancellation costs. I don't think it's customer-oriented that there wasn't another option like a lower cancellation fee. After requesting the cancellation, the cancellation invoice was sent to me and the amount was debited from my credit card. I had to ask several times to get the room because I had to pay for it anyway. At reception, the employee tried to be professional, but at check-in I was missing a brief explanation about the hotel, such as that the elevator can only be used with the room card or where certain facilities are located. **Facilities:** An attempt is made to offer modern facilities. The hotel doesn't seem old, but both small lamps in the room don't work. The socket in the bathroom was not suitable for devices such as a hair straightener, as only low-power devices can be connected. There were no sanitary bags in the bathroom. The tea service is nice, but unfortunately the kettle is moldy. Plastic and paper cups for tea are no longer appropriate. The safe was locked and could not be used. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the accommodation.

The room is clean and just adequate. The staff smiles and is friendly. If you are assigned a room on the street, you will realize that there are many bikers in Germany who cannot control their adrenaline. I slept with earplugs or earphones in. It's so hot in the summer that you have to leave the window open, so how can you sleep? Breakfast was okay, but a little expensive.
