Very good restaurant. Without a reservation it can be difficult. Service very friendly, extremely good and fast.

The food is simply great, the taste and portion size (price/performance) are hard to beat. Special requests will be accommodated. Well attended, so make reservations.

After a hike on Schliersee, this is exactly the right place to have a delicious meal and a drink. The food is very tasty and the service is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. If you have a dog with you, you are welcome to get a place away from it.

Rustic, cozy restaurant. Varied menu. Bouillabaisse with plenty of ingredients, well seasoned. Tatar seasoned a little less interestingly, but still good. Great brawn. Good open wines to choose from and friendly service.

Absolutely worth seeing Bavarian restaurant on the beautiful Schliersee! This was our second time at the beautiful Schliersee but our first time in the Ratskeller. Delicious and beautifully prepared food! Prices within normal limits. The service staff was attentive and very friendly. An integral part of our next visit! Keep it up!

Unfortunately, my table reservation, which I had made over the phone four weeks in advance, had not been noted. But after some back and forth we were given a place to eat. Food was good, the bouillabaisse was highly recommended.

Very nice friendly staff. Welcome at the entrance, polite allocation of a very nice table. Our order was taken very quickly, and just as quickly we had our white sausages with pretzels 🥨, including the drinks. Great successful service. Deliciously prepared and great in taste. Really recommended all around. The only small drawback for a Swabian is that we like the pretzels a little lighter and less salt. But that's purely a matter of taste. We'll definitely be happy to come back...

Entry denied. The reason for this was our two small children who slept in the stroller and were not welcome with their strollers. Unbelievable, it's unbelievable. Almost all tables were free and space couldn't have been the reason.

Yesterday on December 29th, 2024 Ordered 2 x pork schnitzel to take away, according to the website a portion with fries costs 19.80 euros, so that's 39.60 euros, I was charged 45.20 euros (remember to take away!!!), which is what I had today Unfortunately, it was just noticed. Instead of fries there were strange potato slices that were fried and very dry and hard and we wanted the second portion with potato salad instead of fries, which was very, very good... that was it. For me it's about correctness and not about a few euros... I think that if you already have a website with price information, then it should be maintained...

Reservation was given after 15 minutes due to searching for parking. The service person's comment: "Then you have to call or leave earlier." We then politely declined the cat table that was offered. We would be happy to give the seats to other guests in the future.

The atmosphere is cozy and typically Bavarian, with lots of wood, rustic decorations and a relaxed mood. The menu includes the classics of German cuisine – schnitzel, pork knuckle, cheese spaetzle – without any particular highlights or creativity.

We liked it so much we had 2 dinners there! Traditional authentic schnitzel..absolutely sublime..my mouth is still watering. Great beers friendly 'German's service- language difficulty easily addressed. They even remembered us on second visit

Food quality was average. The obazda and brezel tasted like store-bought food. The schnitzel was good but lacked proper sides or sauce. Service was unfriendly, and prices were high. However, the location is beautiful. I will make sure not to come back here.

It's probably the best place we visited, while on holiday in Schliersee-Neuhaus. We visited a few times and we weren't disappointed. Drinks only on our first day, standing outside, after a beautiful walk around the lake. Drinks only on our second visit, we sat inside at the high tables past the kitchen. Food and drinks on our last visit. The food is freshly cooked to order and is your typical Bavarian cuisine. The schnitzel was cooked perfectly, and the Käsespätzle was delicious 😋. What made this place so good are THE STAFF. They are so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The fact that each one remembered us from previous visits just added to the ambience of the restaurant. Lovely outdoor area, with huts and heating too. We will definitely return.

Waren spontan sonntags im Ratskeller zum Mittagessen. Lokal war voll, haben dennoch in der Schwemme noch 5 Plätze ergattert. Sehr schönes Restaurant, super netter Service, hervorragendes Essen und preislich absolut ok. Besonders toll fand ich, dass mein Lieblingswein, ein Lugana Le Creete, im Ausschank war. Das einzige was ich etwas übertrieben fand war der Preis für einen halben Liter Mineralwasser für 5,90 €, was aber den sehr positiven Gesamteindruck nicht beeinträchtigt hat.

I cannot understand the complaints of some of the previous speakers and I wonder whether they would still be upset about the non-compliance with the unspeakable C restrictions. Nobody wore a mask, no people asked for spray passes and everyone was too happy. We felt very comfortable. The food was excellent and the service was quick and very friendly. I would recommend making a reservation as this restaurant is very busy. We would come back at any time.

Unfortunately unsuitable for allergy sufferers. We asked in advance whether the combination of gluten-free and meat-free dishes was possible. However, the fish (salmon, cod, shrimp) came floured, without any labeling on the menu. We were only later informed about a separate allergy card. When attempting to return the fish, the owner was loud and uncooperative. He wanted to include regulars in the discussion, which made them very uncomfortable. Some then apologized to us for the owner's behavior because he verbally attacked my husband and shouted throughout the restaurant and completely ignored me. He didn't respond to my repeated requests to bring the bill. I have never experienced such behavior before. In addition, the restaurant was fully occupied. We sat at the back next to the door to the beer garden. A regular pointed out to us that we had to go out the front because the door was locked, even though it was also the emergency exit. We were all extremely amazed.

The Ratskeller is definitely a recommendation for roast pork and beer. However, completely unsuitable for allergy sufferers! No labeling on the menu, no indication of an allergy menu, even though we asked for gluten-free options right at the beginning, the grilled fish came floured. When we asked, the boss told us that he probably didn't take the topic all that seriously. Original sound: “The fish comes to him as it comes...!”. It's actually a shame and not safe in an emergency!

Apparently we had had a bad day. Arrived on Thursday evening at 5 p.m. without a reservation and was grumpily assigned a seat. The waiter was quite listless and sometimes grumpy since we had “only” ordered a main course. Food was ok but nothing special, and unfortunately the veal schnitzel was very small, probably 200g. No side salad included; for 30 euros... we have never paid in the entire Alpine region. The ambience was nice and the four and the schnapps were good. Like I said... Maybe we had a bad day? But that shouldn't happen with this dish, which is why we only give it 3 stars

Restaurant das mit Getränken und Bier Spezialitäten und hervorragenden Essen überzeugt. Viel wichtiger jedoch allein das reinkommen überzeugt . Freundliche Empfang sehr warme willkommene Athmosphäre. Schlicht klein aber nicht beengend. Ein Kellner der höflich Aufmerksam und Spaß versteht ( tausend Dank) . Die Ambiente sehr angenehm. Kleine Räume besteckte Plätzchen und saubere Toiletten! Ein Auswahl von Getränken der keine Wünsche offen lässt. Von Alkoholfrei über BierGenuss bis hin zu Weinspezialitäten alles dabei. Die Speisekarte übersichtlich und gut zusammengestellt , Portionen hervorragend . Außerdem Spezialitäten des Tages / der Woche diesmal Wild . Fleisch und Gerichte von ausgezeichneten Qualität , Präsentation sehr gut passend zum Brauhaus. Es ist für jeden etwas dabei klein groß wenig mehr deftig außergewöhnlich einfach besonderes.Herrlich. Der Kellner sehr aufmerksam alle Gerichte werden zusammen gebracht, wird wegen Getränke , Nachspeise Kaffee erkundigt. Einzig allein eine Anmerkung - das Brot muss anderes werden. Ich bin sicher dass Schliersee ein hervorragende Bäcker hat oder die Albert Link Hütte - um das Brot auch auf gutem Niveau anzubieten. Unseres war leider Supermarkt / Mischbrot Niveau hässlich. Eine schönes Bauern rot mit resche Kruste Sauerteig wäre bessere Alternative. Aber das war auch das einzige!! Ich danke dass ich bei euch Gast sein durfte! Weiter so !!!

This is fantastic!!! This is 10 stars!!! The menu is large and varied, the service is fast, the food is mega-delicious!!! The staff is mega-kind, it’s like visiting relatives. And what is the interior of the restaurant!!!! It could more than be a museum... Cool, I'm delighted!!!

After our civil wedding, we went to Ratskeller Schliersee with our guests for snacks & co and were thrilled! Great service, very tasty food, nice ambience and great communication and arrangements in advance. We can only recommend it!

Goulash and jelly were eaten, the goulash meat was very stringy and tough, the rind on the two slices of jelly meat was tough and inedible. Too bad I was disappointed. The beer was excellent.

Food quite tasty, but perhaps slightly overpriced. I found the table I was sitting at very disturbing, where two people should have been sitting next to each other, but the strange placement of the table legs made that impossible.

I can highly recommend the Ratskeller Schliersee. The reservation request by email for a birthday party was responded to quickly and friendly and a table was set up in a quiet corner with beautiful table decorations. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We'd love to come back!

Went last August… I ordered a Roasted Pork that was very tasty… The place was undoubtedly nice but there were some wasps flying around and I was a little bit scared.

We asked for a table for 2 this evening at 7:15pm. The beer garden was well attended, but many tables still had free seats or no reservation signs. We were turned away with the words “I have no room for you”. Not a word of regret or explanation. Well then not. Now we are in the “Xaver” in Terofal, almost the same table situation, but the waitress tried very hard to give us a seat, which we gratefully accepted.
