The best kebab in all of Augsburg! 🥙✨
I learned from an information leaflet on site that they truly use regional products. Today I spoke to someone from the team again, who confirmed this.
The meat comes from Gablingen, the spices are also regional, and everything they use is homemade, even the bread and the meat skewer.
I often have trouble eating meat, but at Kral, this is the first time I've been able to truly enjoy a kebab. You can taste the difference immediately! 😍
And let's not even talk about the price – the value for money is simply unbeatable! 🔥
The staff is also incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome.
What also impresses me is the cleanliness and hygiene! Everything is spotless. And I say that as a beautician who really pays a thousand attention to hygiene. Hats off! 👏
For me, that's a thousand stars out of a thousand. Everyone I bring a Kral kebab to immediately notices the difference.
Highly recommended for anyone who values quality, regionality, hygiene, friendliness, fair prices, and authentic taste! 💜
A very well-kept and beautiful ambiance. You feel at home there.
The food and menus are truly a culinary delight.
We've been there several times, and the food has always been delicious, and the service is excellent. The prices are reasonable for the high-quality food. It's always worth a visit. I also noticed that there's a very interesting selection of whiskeys. You don't find them everywhere. I've been back to Anno and had another very tasty and filling culinary experience. The restaurant is very well-maintained, and dining in the rose garden now in the nice weather is simply wonderful.
We ate there as a family for the first time.
We were overwhelmed by the quality of the food.
It was delicious and well-priced.
And we loved the additional play area for our children. I'll definitely be back!
Update from September 23, 2025
The sixth vacation in two years is unfortunately over.
Everything is as always - SIMPLY GREAT.
I have nothing to add to my reviews below, except that we will be spending our vacation at the Richstein again in 2026.
Great hotel, great team, great food.
Update from May 25, 2025
And once again we spent a wonderful week at the Richstein.
And everything was once again to our complete satisfaction.
The reception was super friendly and competent, the room clean and spacious, and the staff were all friendly and helpful.
And the food was once again a dream; nothing was missing. Whether it was the breakfast buffet or the evening half-board.
It was great, it was delicious, it was plentiful, simply magnificent.
We are already looking forward to our vacation at the Richstein in September.
Update from March 3, 2025
We were on our winter vacation for another week and spent it at the Richsteins Posthotel.
It was fantastic again.
From the reception, the room, the breakfast, the dinner, and the friendliness and courtesy of all the staff.
As already expressed in the review below, it couldn't be better.
We'll be back at the hotel in May and have already booked for September. That says it all.
Simply fantastic and super relaxing.
KEEP IT UP !!!!!!!!!!!
Update from September 24, 2024
We stayed at the Posthotel again from September 15, 2024, to September 22, 2024. Unfortunately, we had to cut our vacation short due to illness.
As already written in the review below, the Posthotel is simply fantastic.
From the reception to the size and cleanliness of the rooms, the breakfast buffet, and the evening half-board, everything was excellent.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and competent.
There's absolutely nothing to complain about. NOTHING AT ALL.
We've already booked three vacations at the Posthotel for 2025. That probably says it all.
It's a dream to be able to vacation there.
A very beautiful, clean, and well-run hotel where the guest is still king. The reception is friendly and competent, the rooms are clean and fully equipped, and the breakfast and dinner are simply a dream. Plentiful and delicious. The staff are always smiling and eager to fulfill every guest's wish. This was our first time at the Posthotel, but we will certainly become regular customers.
What do you get for €650 per night? A coffin-sized shower that doesn’t drain, in a bathroom with grime collecting in every corner, in a room with awful shag carpet and two single beds jammed together as a mock king, with a window lined with tinfoil and pigeon spikes opening to a neglected courtyard with arches painted on the stucco. Shameful and disgusting. Terrible value for money.
A very nice beer garden by the water. Self-service, but the delicious food is brought to you. Portions are large, and there's a different daily special.
Here you'll find Franconian cuisine just as you'd expect it – honest, homemade, and truly delicious!
The Schäufelche (shoulder of pork) was an absolute delight: tender, juicy meat with a fantastic crust reminiscent of a perfectly grilled knuckle of pork – crispy, crunchy, and full of flavor. It was served with homemade sauerkraut that tasted like mom's – simply delicious.
The currywurst across the street was also impressive: perfect fries and a homemade curry sauce that was wonderfully balanced.
The value for money is top-notch – here you get outstanding quality at a truly fair price.
An inn that shows how delicious traditional Franconian cuisine can be. Highly recommended!
The food, especially the gluten-free version of the pizza, was very good! However, I find €4.90 for the gluten-free option quite steep. Another downside is the atmosphere; while it was very pleasant and not too loud, I found the KiKa programs playing on the TV questionable. 🤔
Prices are rising (I understand inflation, but in this case it's exaggerated) and the quality of the food is declining. The value for money is no longer worthwhile.
