Wir waren zum Abendessen hier. Es war sehr lecker und reichlich und eine Herausforderung alles aufzuessen. Wir haben es aber geschafft 😋 Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und kommen gern wieder 😊

Bei unserer Übernachtung in Püttlach lag es nahe, dass wir auch die Dorfgaststätte "testen". Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Mein Mann hatte ein Schnitzel mit Schinken und Käse überbacken und ich ein Schnitzel Hawaii. Beide waren meeega lecker, würzig und von Hand paniert. Aus der Küche hat man sogar das klopfen gehört 🤗 Preislich waren die Gerichte auch absolut ok. Mein Mann zahle 15 €, ich 15,50 € für unser Essen. Leider fahren wir am Donnerstag wieder heim und der Gasthof hat nur Dienstag, Freitag, Samstag und Sonntag geöffnet 😭

Fahre schon 60 Jahre Urlaub in Püttlach immer in der Ferienwohnung,.Bin 81 Jahre alt und habe auch für 2026 gebucht ich hoffe dass ich gesund bleibe. Essen schon immer gut, ich komme aus dem Kreis Marburg/Lahn

Wir waren sehr überrascht das es so etwas noch gibt... Mitten auf dem Land eine wirklich gut gehende Wirtschaft, bei der man am Samstagabend schon fast Probleme hat einen Tisch zu bekommen. Das hat mein Herz erfreut. Wir waren allerdings direkt zur Lokalöffnung angekommen, sodass wir gleich einen Tisch bekommen haben. 1,5 Stunden später sah die Situation schon anders aus. Es ist anscheinend ein Familienbetrieb, in dem sich anscheinend sogar noch der Senior mit um die Gäste kümmert. Das Essen war sehr lecker obwohl es nur ein oder zwei vegetarische Gerichte zu geben scheint. Aber als flexibler Mensch, kann man sich in so einem Fall sicherlich auch auf die Beilagen beschränken. Ansonsten war das Essen gut und auch sehr reichhaltig. Das Personal war herzlich und zuvorkommend. Sollte es mich noch einmal in die Gegend verschlagen werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder reinschauen.

Eine echte Perle im Fränkischen. Versteckt in einem Tal liegt dieses tolle Restaurant – ruhig gelegen und absolut einen Besuch wert. Die Gastleute sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war mega lecker: Sowohl der Spießbraten als auch das Pfefferrahmgericht waren geschmacklich auf den Punkt und hervorragend zubereitet. Dazu frisches Bier vom Fass und das alles zu absolut vernünftigen Preisen. Klare Empfehlung – wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr gutes, bodenständiges Essen in Bahnhofshallenflair. Im Gasthaus Persau kann man sehr gut bürgerlich fränkisch essen, das Personal ist ausgesprochen bemüht und freundlich und die Portionen sind groß und preislich definitiv angemessen. Auch wenn das etwas in die Jahre gekommene aber sehr saubere Gasthaus mit seinem großen Speisesaal etwas den Flair einer Bahnhofshalle versprüht, lohnt es sich definitiv, hier einzukehren.

Der Gasthof Persau ist ein Familienbetrieb, wo man sich einfach wohl fühlt! Das Essen ist super lecker, qualitativ hochwertig, und es gibt immer einen wunderbaren Beilagensalat. Und all das zu wirklich fairen Preisen. Die Forelle schmeckt wie frisch aus dem Bach gesprungen, und der Sauerbraten ist einzigartig! Zum Nachtisch kann ich den Eierlikörbecher empfehlen. Die Einrichtung ist eher schlicht, was aber in keinster Weise stört. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm, urig und einfach gemütlich. Auch wenn man alleine ist kommt man immer mit jemandem ins Gespräch. Bei gutem Wetter kann man draußen auf der schönen Terrasse sitzen. Der Familie liegt das Wohl der Gäste sehr am Herzen. Einfach toll! Und im Gegensatz zu anderen Restaurants in der Gegend sind Hunde willkommen. Danke!

Ein tolles Lokal in der Nähe von Pottenstein mit sauguter fränkischer Küche. Gute Portionen schnell und freundlich serviert und dann noch in einem ausgezeichneten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

We were there for lunch. We felt welcome. The service was very attentive. Everyone was courteous and friendly. If time permits, a quick chat is also possible. The food is excellent, with large portions and a good selection of dishes, including children's dishes. The value for money is unbeatable.

This is still a traditional restaurant where the owner sits down with you at the table, calculates the bill with a notepad and does some mental math, and the food is very good. The prices are unbeatable 👍

I read the other reviews and wonder if we were at the same restaurant. Of course, it's also possible that there was a change, the chef quit, or something. I don't know. But one thing is clear: There's no one working at this restaurant who can even begin to cook. Canned mushrooms, all covered in a bucket of sauce. That's it. I've never eaten so badly.

We ended up in Püttlach by chance on our motorcycle. The service was very friendly. Ordering food was also very quick, and the food was delicious.

A truly beautiful, secluded inn with an excellent selection of food and drinks at great prices. Very friendly owners who run this country inn with passion. We will definitely be back.

I happened to drive past on my motorbike and stopped there. The food was very good, I ate a sauerbraten. The prices are definitely okay. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely eat here again.

Whether just for lunch or for dinner. You feel welcome here. There are no gaps in the service. They are very accommodating and friendly. If time permits, a little chat is also possible. The food is great, no criticism possible. Price performance is unbeatable.

Since I enjoy fish, this restaurant was brought to my attention. Today I was there with Maria and was not disappointed. My baked trout was served with horseradish and hot butter, along with boiled potatoes. Simply delicious! The price/performance ratio is also excellent. I'll definitely be back!

Nice, somewhat quaint restaurant. Very nice service. Child friendly, there are baby chairs. Samitary facilities were clean. Food was delicious (bread plate and currywurst, was only intended as a maternity break). If we end up here again, we'd be happy to go again with the short one.

We like to eat here when we vacation in the area. A good place to go if you want to enjoy good Franconian cuisine. Very good selection with a changing daily menu. We got married on holiday in Pottenstein 4 years ago and celebrated our wedding reception in Persau/Haas. Vacationed there in Püttlach for 10 years. That's why it always feels like home when we're here again and stop by Helmut and his family. 10/10 always friendly staff and family members on duty. ♥️

We have been coming to “our” holiday apartment from the Allgäu to Püttlach for around 35 years. If we come in this direction for other reasons, we arrange to stop at the Haas family, including our guests. It is always a pleasure and a pleasure to be here and to enjoy the lovely people, the delicious, rich food and the pleasant ambience. Hopefully we can do this for many more years... We had dinner there today and what can you say, the food was more than good, the prices were super fair and the innkeepers were very nice people. The atmosphere was lovely and cozy, just like the host, who sat down at the table with us and chatted a bit. We would love to come back here.

Just like you know an economy from before. Living room atmosphere. Delicious German food like grandma's. No frills. Plus delicious local country beer on tap. It is advisable not to have to drive yourself. Absolutely fair price level!!!! If you want, you can go for a walk in beautiful nature after a delicious meal. It doesn't get any better.

Eat well, drink well 😊. Staff friendly and very quick. Quiet location. Parking without any problems. Calling beforehand is better. Note the time for eating. The kitchen closes at 7:45 p.m. Approximately 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. heavily attended. We definitely recommend.

Attracted by the location and the very good reviews, we made a detour to this restaurant. It is a Franconian restaurant with traditional home-style cuisine and sparse, functional interior design. We wanted to introduce our visit to Franconian food. But unfortunately I ate the worst Schäufele of my life here. The “crust” was just soft and wobbly (see video). I was totally disappointed. However, the other dishes were ok. Service was friendly and the prices were great.

This evening we are guests at the Gasthof Persau in Püttlach for the second time. It was once again a pleasant evening with good service and customer friendliness. As a Dutch person, these are the typical Upper Franconian restaurants that you would like to visit again. In short, the service is top notch, the food is great and tastes beyond good, and then the bill, well, nothing to complain about. Everything more than an excellent price/performance ratio. I'm looking forward to next time.
