A rustic little place. The hosts are very welcoming. Hearty, simple dishes. I really like that you can bring your own food and eat it in the restaurant (unthinkable in Switzerland!)

You can tell them by their side salad – the good restaurants! 11 people were there, and every plate was great. The salad was under €20. I can only agree with all the other 5* reviewers. Everything was simply good, including the service.

We were turned away with our dog on two consecutive evenings. The reason given was that it was "wet outside" and "damp in the woods," therefore no dogs were allowed. Our dog was dry both times. The weather was even good all day on the second day. Still no chance. I have rarely experienced such absurd logic and such a lack of understanding for guests with dogs. Dog owners seem to be unwelcome here.

Super cozy and friendly service and delicious food!!! Definitely worth repeating... We're going back tomorrow night... Our last night, unfortunately. Back to the Netherlands on Sunday.
