The food was good, but for €22.90, which I picked up myself, the portion was a joke. You had to search for the gyros, the filet was okay, but I don't think I'll go there again.
The restaurant was simple, yet very nicely and neatly decorated. I liked it; it was pleasant. They had special dishes of high quality. Someone else wrote that the food was adapted to German tastes. I can't confirm that, but I also had a special dish. I was particularly impressed with the dessert. It was a bit too firm, but that's probably traditional and delicious.
The restrooms were a major drawback—a disaster. This is probably because the staff and the owner come from working-class backgrounds, and two of them are unwell. The family is probably going through a difficult time. Unfortunately, they tend to forget or neglect things like the restrooms.
Nevertheless, I wish them all the best, and it was a lovely evening. Thank you.
With tables spaced appropriately close together on two floors (accessible only by stairs), located in the old town (parking can be tricky), this little gem offers a wonderful selection of Greek tapas.
Delicious platters, ranging from anchovies and wild broccoli to eggplant dip and pita bread. A fine olive oil is always on the table, along with yogurt bread and olives, making for a perfect start to the evening. Unfortunately, our server disappeared almost immediately after we placed our first plates. Here's an important tip for future visits: don't order more than one hot platter at a time – it's better to order more to ensure everything is always warm and fresh.
We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to it!

Everything was absolutely delicious (the mashed potatoes were a little under-seasoned, but that's really the only thing you could criticize if you really think about it), from the appetizers to the flank steak, the cheesecake, and the drinks/cocktails. Very friendly service and a lovingly designed ambiance; it couldn't be better.
The two of us spontaneously decided to eat here on a Sunday at lunchtime. There were still tables available, so we easily got a seat.
We had soup as a starter, followed by curry (for me) and sea bream (for my wife), as well as water spinach. The food was generally tasty, the portions were quite generous, we were full, and we even had some left over to take home.
However, I found my dish (No. 71 Chicken with curry, coconut milk, and "mildly spicy") to be very sweet and not spicy at all. Of course, that could be a matter of taste, but it should at least be closer to the description.
The service was friendly, but at times seemed a bit too controlling. For example, my wife was asked to move her drink and glass to a different spot on the table "so nothing would tip over." A nice gesture, but a bit intrusive. Overall, the service seemed rather casual, even careless (e.g., clothing like leggings), which suited the atmosphere but wasn't exactly upscale.
The atmosphere is okay, but nothing special. Not a place for a special meal, but rather a solid, everyday restaurant.
What was really annoying: card payments were only accepted with debit cards or cash. No Visa, no Mastercard, no debit cards. Our debit card payment didn't work, so we ended up having to scrape together cash. That's simply outdated these days.
The bill came to around €80 for two appetizers, two main courses, and two drinks, fair for what you get.
Would I come back? Probably.
Is it my first choice? No.
Overall, a decent restaurant with its ups and downs.
As tourists, we followed TripAdvisor's recommendation.
Our steaks were wonderful, as were the side dishes. The dessert was the perfect finishing touch. We'd come back anytime!
Simply a wonderful, traditional Bavarian inn where you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The decor is designed with such attention to detail – cozy, authentic, and inviting. The owner and his team are incredibly friendly, warm, and always in good spirits.
The food is a real highlight every time! Every dish was a hit – fresh, regional, and simply delicious. We've been here many times and are always pleasantly surprised.
Many thanks to the whole team – it's so great that you're here! We're already looking forward to our next visit to Griaß di Resi!
