On Thursday, we went to the pizzeria "la fiamme" in the city center. Unfortunately, all five outdoor tables were already taken, and the indoor area was also almost fully booked. When we asked why they weren't setting up more outdoor seating given the nice weather, since it was the Old Town Festival and high occupancy was expected, we received the following answer: The city of Ansbach is charging €500.00 for setting up additional tables. As a resident of Ansbach, I shouldn't be surprised that prices are so skyrocketing. We think this isn't a good approach on the part of the city of Ansbach towards small restaurants – sad!
But we still enjoyed our pizza, which was delicious as always.

We picked up several pizzas.
Unfortunately, they were very dry. The spinach on the Riva pizza had a strange taste (frozen?). Additionally, the ingredients had changed, so I received prawns instead of salmon. The Palermo pizza was also tasteless. The salad size for the price is very small compared to competitors.
We were disappointed and negatively surprised by the prices. There are some outdated menus online, some of them on their own website.
Here, some pizzas have become €8 more expensive.
However, for just under €20, I expect a pizza that tastes like it does in Italy. This wasn't the case.
At some competitors, it tastes significantly better (even when the pizza is cold) and costs almost half. The quality is also significantly better.
We were there for dinner on a Sunday around 6:30 p.m. and had, among other things, butter chicken, soup and drinks. We sat outside and felt comfortable right from the start.
The food was really tasty, nicely seasoned and plentiful - it will definitely fill you up. The portions were large and the value for money was really great. The background noise was also pleasantly quiet as there was hardly any traffic on the road - so it was very relaxed outside too.
The service was friendly, attentive and pleasantly unobtrusive. Overall, a thoroughly successful visit.
Another plus point: The connection is great – the restaurant is only a few meters away from the Unterföhring S-Bahn station (S8).
I can really recommend the restaurant to anyone who wants good Indian food in a relaxed atmosphere.
Excellent home-style food, extensive menu, good wines, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. Ideal for business meals and smaller private celebrations, but also for two. Is recommended for lunch and evening.
We went here based on the good reviews and recommendations. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the food. The onion roast beef was tough and sometimes bloody, even though I ordered it medium-well. The gravy tasted like a ready-made gravy and wasn't good. The beef tips were tough, and the gravy wasn't tasty either. We expected much more for the price. It's a shame, because the service, friendliness, and atmosphere are really great.
I'm usually not impressed by pizza. But the arugula vegetale was truly amazing. Great base, delicious arugula, and amazing balsamic vinegar.
For dessert, an almond parafait, also really delicious.
This Italian restaurant is in the running to be my favorite Italian restaurant! 🇮🇹
Great hotel. Very friendly staff. We were very impressed. The room size, amenities, and cleanliness were excellent, both in the room and throughout the hotel. The breakfast buffet had absolutely everything. We were absolutely thrilled and can recommend the hotel to everyone. We will definitely return on our next visit to Landsberg.
The steaks are the best you can get in the area. This applies to both the quality of the meat and the preparation. The owners are very friendly. After the meal, we were given a short, free tour of the very beautiful, historic building.
Would you recommend it? Absolutely, absolutely! Just give it a try. The food is really very good. A friendly welcome and a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere without any pretensions. I'd love to go back!
