Good goulash soup but why try to make tourists pay a minimum 10% tip for self service when paying by card??

We met friends there at the beginning of the new year. We had reserved a table in advance. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. The very friendly server took our orders and always asked if we needed anything else. We all ordered different dishes, which were served almost simultaneously. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. We would gladly return.

Ordered online for pickup - drove there - "Sorry, but that's the new menu online - we don't have it yet. Order wasn't processed..." Instead of calling and politely canceling or explaining the situation, we drove 20km for nothing, and they showed no understanding. It's a shame, since the food was actually okay.

I can highly recommend this lovely restaurant in the heart of Lauf an der Pegnitz. It's located in a historic building with a fishpond. The staff is friendly and the menu is extensive, featuring dishes you don't often find. I particularly recommend the South Tyrolean snack platter. The atmosphere is very cozy and refined. I would gladly spend another evening here.

A fantastic experience every time; the food and service are top-notch. The standard steaks could be a bit larger than 200g for my taste.

A sensational restaurant. The service was authentically Bavarian and friendly. The decor was rustic and clean. The food was consistently excellent. The schnitzel was fantastic, the goulash unbeatable, the salad was picture-perfect, the beer was good, and the dessert was equally delicious. Beautifully located on the edge of town next to a church. It's also nice to sit outside. If we're visiting Bavaria from Hesse again, we'll be happy to drive there again from Munich.

Delicious food, excellent value for money. The staff is super friendly. We've been eating at the Bunker for four years in a row and will be back next year. We're already looking forward to it. Keep up the good work, see you next year! Best regards
