The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and warm. Service is quite fast and the ambience of the restaurant is quite nice

Wir waren einmal mittags und einmal abends hier essen. Ein netter indischer Kellner, der uns vor dem Essen gut und sehr freundlich beraten hat und auf alle möglichen Fragen (auch wegen Allergien) eingegangen ist. Das Essen war sehr gut und frisch gemacht. Gerne wieder.

I've been coming here for the past 7 years, whenever I feel like having some Indian food - both for dining in and take out. Warm and very kind staff, always offering you a smile, regardless of the hour and if you stay or not! I'm quite a fan of Shimla Ente (duck house special), but the other options are delicious as well. Payment is possible both cash or by card.

Best Indian restaurant in the Germering area. The lunch menu is well laid out so there is something for every taste. I can particularly recommend the palak paneer with butter naan and the mango lassi.

Wir waren neugierig und haben es mal ausprobiert. Also richtig gemütlich ist es schon mal nicht. Das Personal bemüht sich. Auf der Karte fehlen etliche gängige indische Gerichte. Es überwiegt Mango und Curry. Ich hatte knusprige Ente mit Mango. Von knusprig war nichts zu spüren und mit zugebundenen Augen hätte ich auch die Ente nicht rausgeschmeckt. Das Fleisch war zu trocken und schmeckte nach nix. Mein Mann hatte Hühnchen mit Mango. Sein Kommentar, wir waren 2x hier, das erste und das letzte Mal.

The Indian-style shrimp soup is new on the menu, super tasty and spicy. And thank you for a wonderful tasting butter chicken dish! The lamb and beef dishes also taste excellent. I actually miss a crispy skin on the duck. Probably not common in Indian cuisine. The degree of doneness is right and it is not dry. Am thrilled! I would love to come to this restaurant! For me one of the best Indian restaurants in the area.

I ordered something to pick up there for the first time today, so I can only rate the restaurant very superficially. The atmosphere isn't super modern and chic, but I would eat there too. Nothing negative noticed. The food was ready for pick up very quickly, very hot and also very tasty. Quite a lot of meat, well seared, very seasoned and a generous portion. I even found it better than my favorite Indian restaurant in another city! The gentleman behind the counter was also very friendly and the price was relatively cheap for the quality offered! I will definitely order or eat here again!

Good Indian food and was particularly grateful for the set of 6 mini dishes they created for my Vegan son who we were celebrating with on our 3rd visit to the restaurant.

The food is very good. It's not stuck and boring, but rather very varied. I love spicy dishes with balanced ingredients and that's exactly why I enjoy eating here. Please keep it up.

Die Shimla Grill Platte ist ein wahrer Traum und ein Genuss für jede Geschmacksknopse. Fünf! und nicht vier verschieden marinierte Hähnchenbrustfiletstücke werden mit „Salat“, Kartoffeln, Reis und Butter Chicken Soße serviert. Die Qualität des Fleisches ist unglaublich gut und der Geschmack der unterschiedlichen Marinaden phänomenal. Eine tolle Geschmacksreise erwartet einen hier. Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich und die indische Musik hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Preis/Leistung stimmt bei dieser Qualität absolut! Ich habe selten so gut indisch gegessen. Und ich habe schon viel indisch gegessen (u.a. in Indien selbst).

Ich hatte eine Frage bzgl. einer Firmen-Rechnung und wurde am Telefon sehr unfreundlich behandelt. Man konnte mir auch nicht weiterhelfen und hat dann ohne eine Verabschiedung einfach aufgelegt. Wir werden dort weder nochmal Essen gehen noch etwas für die Firma Mittags bestellen !!!! Und jetzt droht mir auch noch der Inhaber! Scheinbar nicht kritikfähig. Wirklich sehr unprofessionell! Unser Anwalt freut sich darauf ;)

Hervorragend! Bestens gewürzt. Vor allem die Auswahl an Mittagsmenues mit Huhn, Rind oder Ente ist riesig. Auch ein paar vegetarische/ vegane Menues sind dabei.... Sehr zu empfehlen!

Went to Shimla restaurant for lunch. The order was taken by Mr.Amir and kind gentlemen. The restuarant ambience was good and suitable for couple and family diners. The food taste was good and also the drinks. The restuarant is located near Germering Unterpaffehofen bahnhof. If you are on the way to Hersching or Pasing you can drop off here for a quick lunch. The mittagessen menu is good. One feedback - More vegetarian dishes can be added on top of existing dishes. The existing veggie dishes were good.

You can tell they have a real passion for food and seeing people enjoy good Indian. Absolutely loved every bite and the service and atmosphere was amazing.

I got chance of staying in Germering and my craving and Google ended up at Shimla restaurant. The atmosphere was really nice and the service was excellent. I had lunch and dinner both. I tried Karhai Paneer, Dal Tadka and tea. The food was delicious and cost effective. They serve rice with every dish, honestly those were really khile khile. Let the owner know and my name in case you come here after reading this comment. I rearly write reviews but I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for Desi cuisines.
