I was recently at this restaurant and tried the naan and the beef Karachi with rice – simply delicious! The food was fresh, spicy, and tasted truly authentic. The naan, in particular, was beautifully soft and perfectly baked. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also pleasant and cozy; you immediately feel at home. The service was friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back.

The food was average, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the service was rather lacking. Even though we were the only two guests, the waiter or owner preferred to spend his time on his phone in the corner of the restaurant. There was no greeting from the kitchen (it's not necessary, but there are Indian restaurants that make more of an effort). The dishes were still a bit dirty, and the rice warmers were even quite dirty. The previous guest's food was still on them.

We were at Shimla again today after many years. Apparently, this restaurant has a new tenant! The service leaves much to be desired! Empty glasses are of no interest to anyone! No atmosphere, not recommended! The food gets one star! No questions asked, etc.

The service is terrible. They barely manage to get the food served! They put the dish down and take the money! They don't ask what the customer wants, they show no consideration! It's simply disastrous!

It's overrated. Prices are very expensive when you compare them to the portions. We ordered dessert, but it was over, and we had to pay for it, even though the waiter said we were right, but the owner is greedy and couldn't do anything. My girlfriend had stomach pains for three days, and I had diarrhea.

Visiting Germering from southern NH in America. Indian food was new to me growing up and I never ate it much before I was a young adult. There are very few restaurants near where I live. Shimla Germering has been the best Indian food experience I’ve ever had. The food is always beyond delicious, the portions are more than enough to fill you up, and the hospitality is perfect. Mein Deutsch ist sehr schlecht, aber das ist kein Problem in Shimla. Vielen Dank. And to all, locals and visitors, you must eat here!!

Great food, the appetizer platter and the nan breads are especially recommended. The wait was a bit long at times, even though it wasn't busy, but it was worth it.

I'm a huge fan of the filled naan breads; they're soooo good! And the portions are perfect for filling you up. I'll definitely order them again! Addendum: I also HIGHLY recommend the Gobi Manchurian!

I've been coming here for the past 7 years, whenever I feel like having some Indian food - both for dining in and take out. Warm and very kind staff, always offering you a smile, regardless of the hour and if you stay or not! I'm quite a fan of Shimla Ente (duck house special), but the other options are delicious as well. Payment is possible both cash or by card.

Wir waren neugierig und haben es mal ausprobiert. Also richtig gemütlich ist es schon mal nicht. Das Personal bemüht sich. Auf der Karte fehlen etliche gängige indische Gerichte. Es überwiegt Mango und Curry. Ich hatte knusprige Ente mit Mango. Von knusprig war nichts zu spüren und mit zugebundenen Augen hätte ich auch die Ente nicht rausgeschmeckt. Das Fleisch war zu trocken und schmeckte nach nix. Mein Mann hatte Hühnchen mit Mango. Sein Kommentar, wir waren 2x hier, das erste und das letzte Mal.

The Indian-style shrimp soup is new on the menu, super tasty and spicy. And thank you for a wonderful tasting butter chicken dish! The lamb and beef dishes also taste excellent. I actually miss a crispy skin on the duck. Probably not common in Indian cuisine. The degree of doneness is right and it is not dry. Am thrilled! I would love to come to this restaurant! For me one of the best Indian restaurants in the area.

I ordered something to pick up there for the first time today, so I can only rate the restaurant very superficially. The atmosphere isn't super modern and chic, but I would eat there too. Nothing negative noticed. The food was ready for pick up very quickly, very hot and also very tasty. Quite a lot of meat, well seared, very seasoned and a generous portion. I even found it better than my favorite Indian restaurant in another city! The gentleman behind the counter was also very friendly and the price was relatively cheap for the quality offered! I will definitely order or eat here again!

Die Shimla Grill Platte ist ein wahrer Traum und ein Genuss für jede Geschmacksknopse. Fünf! und nicht vier verschieden marinierte Hähnchenbrustfiletstücke werden mit „Salat“, Kartoffeln, Reis und Butter Chicken Soße serviert. Die Qualität des Fleisches ist unglaublich gut und der Geschmack der unterschiedlichen Marinaden phänomenal. Eine tolle Geschmacksreise erwartet einen hier. Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich und die indische Musik hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Preis/Leistung stimmt bei dieser Qualität absolut! Ich habe selten so gut indisch gegessen. Und ich habe schon viel indisch gegessen (u.a. in Indien selbst).

Hervorragend! Bestens gewürzt. Vor allem die Auswahl an Mittagsmenues mit Huhn, Rind oder Ente ist riesig. Auch ein paar vegetarische/ vegane Menues sind dabei.... Sehr zu empfehlen!
