Long time ago I was a regular customer of Yogi Restaurant and after long time again I recently been Yogi Mahal with friends, unfortunately this time food and service wasn't as expected and supposed to be. Soup : Soup was very watery without any flavour, might more water was added, hence it can be served to more persons. it smelled the same way as when I make it at home using ready to cook soup packet excepting adding water only in needed quantity as I don't want to save money. Starter was not up to mark but still eatable. Main course: Even though everyone was very hungry still most of the ordered curries left un-used as it was not in taste to consume at all Paneer Haryali, I don't know if while watching reels chef had just put whole packet of Chaat masala in it or not? it tasted full of Chaat masala and salty only. when complained they were not ready to understand the point and sticked to one answer our food can't be awful in taste. We felt going to restaurant where manager and waiters were our boss and they made huge favour on us allowing hungry/poor people to have food as there is no other restaurant in Munich/Germering which allows us to enter. Seriously restaurant staff was very un-friendly. Dude we might take time to order food as were in big group, but definitely not the one who order one beer and spend 2 hours. I don't know if payment machine was really not working, but they didn't accept payment by card we had to pay in big number by cash (There is no near by ATM), luckily we managed to do so.

Now our favorite Indian restaurant, we always enjoy coming here to eat. Try out the menu

We were there for the first time today. I once shared butter chicken and naan bread with my daughters. This wasn't a problem at all for the service and we were served sensibly. I enjoyed the food great. My daughter was super happy with her mango lassi, which was also beautifully prepared. We'll definitely come back.

I recently dined at yogi mahal , and while the naan was okay, the rest of the meal was disappointing. The paneer sabji lacked flavor and tasted far from fresh, making the dish hard to enjoy. The worst part was the paneer haryali — it seemed like they used frozen spinach, and the overall taste was bland and uninspired. The food just didn’t have the authentic Indian flavor I was expecting, and for the price, I expected much more. The service was also slow, adding to the frustration. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Catastrophe, the main thing is that the driver stands in front of our door for half an hour and doesn't come out. The food was cold, there are better ones that we ordered last time 🤝🏽

We ate there again today and the taste of the food was once again an absolute highlight. For us, Yogi Mahal is the best Indian restaurant in the area. We can only recommend the restaurant to anyone who wants to eat very good Indian food in Germering.

The food is really tasty specially chicken tikka masala. The best indian food I have in Munich till now. The portion is really big for one person. Staff is polite and lot of space to sit.

I always end up coming back to this restaurant or ordering their food to my home. The indian food is soo delicious and it seems to get better every time i visit. Greatly Seasoned & tasty. I always order the butterchicken/ tika masala and a mango lassi .

I always get takeout from here. Food is always great and comforting. The chicken korma is my favourite. The naans are good too, especially the masala naan. The mango lassi was also amazing and I reordered a bunch a times. Highly recommend!

All in all good but nothing special. We enjoyed the food. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices completely ok. We paid €48 for two but also had 2x main courses, 3x soft drinks and 1x naan. I found music to be a bit intrusive and loud.

The waiter cleared up uncomfortably early, even though people were still eating, and asked women to hand him their plates with hand gestures. The food was really good.

We used to always be satisfied, but now unfortunately the food wasn't seasoned and arrived cold.

Danger! Waiter wasn't exactly motivated and friendly. Large water (0.4 according to the menu) was ordered and 0.75 was brought to the table (also already described by another guest). The stay should then cost 15.80 euros. Wanted to pay via card. The waiter then typed in 20 euros on the reader without my prior announcement/approval. I only noticed it after leaving the restaurant. Food was ok.

The most delicious food I have eaten at a Restaurant at a Mall! Easily in my top 3 Indian food places in Munich!

The food was good to very good. The portions were sufficient. When we noted that we were there with a voucher book/gourmet pad, a “two-class service” became apparent. We didn't get an appetizer (like everyone else in the restaurant); I can't say whether the waiter at our table sniffled particularly often, but it was still annoying. The cheapest dish was deducted (voucher book) - I mean it says something different in the voucher book, but since I didn't get a bill, I can't say 100%. You're welcome to gossip, but then the guests shouldn't notice. (Keyword: low tipping, due to the above points) and yes, I heard it! Oh well. The point of the voucher book is to attract guests and not scare them away? But who am I to judge that - I was definitely the one-time guest where you didn't score points with the first impression, because in 2024 I'll think very carefully about where I'll spend my money in the future - good food alone is enough no longer there.

Yogi Mahal was once one of our favorite Indian restaurants; we ordered there almost weekly. However, the quality has deteriorated significantly over the past two years. Often the wrong food arrived, deliveries took a long time or the quality was simply not right. The point at which we decided not to order there anymore was a delivery in which the lamb was completely riddled with tendons and indefinable strands. You simply couldn't eat it. I called the restaurant about it and was told to send an email about it. I did, even with pictures. I never received a response. We didn't order or eat there again for a good 1.5 years. Last week we gave Yogi another chance. The delivery took 1.5 hours instead of the stated 1 hour. My husband's dish was good, maybe mine was the wrong one? At least I knew it differently (both from previous Yogi orders and from other Indian restaurants) and I didn't get "Indian spicy" as requested (it wasn't spicy at all). I would like the quality to match the prices again and you can rely on the dishes being consistently good again.

We were there for lunch today and found a nice free table without any problem. The staff was really quick, extremely friendly and accommodating, even though we had a voucher from the gourmet block. We ordered two grilled dishes, numbers 530 and 531. Both dishes were delicious and highly recommended. And today was certainly not the last time we were at the Yogi Mahal.

Positive: large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, there are enough parking spaces. BUT: Ambience like a shopping center - which wasn't apparent before - and long waiting times, even though the restaurant was half empty. The waiters were borderline rude and made us feel like we should leave quickly. There was no inquiry as to whether everything was OK, whether it tasted good, and no replacement offer for the sold-out dessert. The food itself tastes like the average delivery service and has little to do with traditional Indian cuisine. The garlic naan wasn't even fully baked and was surprisingly tasteless. We also noticed that the boys at the next table weren't even allowed to take their leftovers with them. We would have liked to come back because of the large selection of dishes, but we'd rather leave it alone now because of our experiences there.

Last week a friend recommended Indian resturant. We tried it first. Tasty.mango lassi. Classically superb. Expert and friendly staff.

The best butter chicken we have eaten so far. I don't know what's wrong with Yogi Mahal, but today's meal wasn't butter chicken. At times I felt like I had sand in my mouth.

Have been to Yogi Mahal several times and always enjoy coming back to eat. Both at lunchtime during the week and on weekends. A very good Indian cuisine, the food is tasty and the service is good. A clear recommendation, the Yogi Mahal is sometimes the main reason for a trip to Germering.

Was ist passiert? Vielleicht hat der Koch gewechselt? Wir haben schon oft im Restaurant gegessen und gerne auch mal bestellt.Wir waren immer sehr zufrieden, das Essen war lecker! Die letzten beiden Male wurden wir leider enttäuscht. Der Reis war nicht, wie sonst immer schön gelb. Das Essen fade gewürzt und na ja....Das ist sehr schade.

We ordered food on Lieferando it’s been more than two and we never got the food with guest at home, owner told food was almost arriving an hour after order was placed and then stopped answering calls. Least they could do was pick up the phone and tell if there was any issue. They are hanging up all our calls. This is not the right thing to do. It’s been two days we still haven’t received the refund!!

I have been this ths restaurant with my family, we requested to make authentic indian style. Food exceeded my expectation. Its a good recommendation from if you are in the Munich area. Parking in the GEP Mall is free upto 3 hours.

Bestes Indische Restaurant nicht zu scharf und immer gut

Essen kann man hier ganz gut wenn man schnell genug ist um den Kellner zu erwischen bevor er ohne zu fragen ob noch jemand etwas möchte einfach geht. Der dreht sich einfach um und weg is er wieder.

Indisch ist nicht so meins, aber es hat mir geschmeckt. Allerdings war der Ober immer zu schnell weg so dass man fast einzeln bestellt hat.

Ein wunderschöner Abend! Online-Reservierung hat perfekt geklappt. Speisen sind hervorragend. Service einwandfrei. Was will man mehr?

Es ist nicht leicht in einer kleinen Einkaufspassage mit gleich drei nebeneinanderliegenden Lokalen im Obergeschoß hierher zu finden. Die Gerüche der Küchen vom Inder, Italiener und Mongolen vermischen sich im Flur undefiniert. Auch ist es nicht leicht eine Innenarchitektur zu schaffen, welche den jeweiligen Provinzien (typisch oder klischehaft) gerecht wird. Wer dann doch den Weg ins Yogi Mahal gefunden hat, einer Verabredung mit Freunden, vor einem Besuch des benachbarten Kinos, oder einer Empfehlung folgend, ja der wird hier mit einer reichlichen Auswahl von Gerichten belohnt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, obwohl das eigentlich bei jedem indischen Lokal Standard sein sollte, die vegetarische und auch vegane Speisekarte ! Den Besuch beim Yogi Mahal kann ich jedem Liebhaber indischer Küche empfehlen.

Der beste Inder in der Gegend. Personal ist super freundlich und das Essen schmeckt hervorragend. Preise sind auch völlig in Ordnung. Die Lage, sowie das Ambiente sind für die heutige Zeit nicht passend, aber das ist kein wirklich großer Kritikpunkt.

Der beste Inder, bei dem ich bisher gegessen habe und immer wieder einfach nur lecker! Egal ob zum mitnehmen oder vor Ort… der Service und die Gerichte sind einfach super. Die Einrichtung des Restaurants ist gut, könnte aber noch etwas gemütlicher gemacht werden. :)

Super leckeres Essen, sehr schneller und kundenfreundlicher Service, gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Und die Cocktails waren klasse! Können wir wärmstens empfehlen, gerne wieder!

Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet, das Essen sehr lecker und empfehlenswert. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend und jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt.

Das Essen schmeckt sehr frisch und lecker und die Schärfe nach bedarf angepasst. Es sind alle Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich, die uns bisher bedient hatten und erfüllen die Wünsche die man hatte, wenn man etwas Bestellt. Es gibt sogar eine Terasse mit angenehmen Ambiente.

Angenehmes indisches Restaurant. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen ist lecker und wird schnell zubereitet. Das Ambiente mit indischer Einrichtung ist angenehm. Im Hintergrund hört man indische Musik. Wir fühlen uns dort sehr willkommen und man kann es gut mit Einkaufen in GEP oder einem Kinobesuch kombinieren. Gerne wieder.

Ich empfehle, das Yogi Mahal, GEP, Germering für indisches Essen. Das Essen ist gut, das Servicepersonal ist nett zu den Kunden und kümmert sich um die besonderen Wünsche der Kunden. Die Atmosphäre des Restaurants ist im Allgemeinen entspannt und gut und der Ort ist sauber und gepflegt.

Wir hatten ein sehr angenehmes Geburtstagsabendessen zu 8. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Sämtliche Essen in guter Qualität und eine Überraschung für´s "Geburtstagskind" gab es auch noch. Die Corona Situation ist gut gelöst. Es war gnügend Abstand zu Anderen und es wurde gut gelüftet und war trotzdem nicht zu kalt. Gut gemacht in diesen nicht ganz einfachen Zeiten und danke für die Unterstützung für einen gelungenen Abend.

Alle Restuarants geschlossen wegen der Coronakrise! Und wir feiern unseren Hochzeitstag immer beim "Inder"! Also bestellten wir diesmal per Telefon und holten die Gerichte ab. Gute Idee: Alle Speisen waren, wie wir es bereits im Lokal selbst vor der Coronakrise erleben durften, frisch zubereitet und superschmackhaft. Und sie waren noch richtig heiß, auch noch nach der Ankunft zuhause. Man hatte uns sogar noch "Boni" dazugepackt. Fazit: Obwohl wir lieber "live" im Lokal gegessen hätten, war die Home-Lösung mehr als nur ein Ersatz. Vielen Dank an das engagierte Personal. Wir waren richtig glücklich an unserem Hochzeitstag.

Im Lokal selber waren wir bisher noch nicht zum essen da, wir bestellen telefonisch und holen das essen ab. Das essen ist sehr lecker und empfehlenswert. Wir waren bisher mehr als zufrieden.
