Sehr leckeres Essen, für mich der beste Italiener der Stadt!

Wir waren im Da Gino und sind rundum begeistert – von der Atmosphäre bis zum Service einfach super. Man merkt bei jedem Gang, dass hier mit frischen, hochwertigen Zutaten gearbeitet wird. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Perfetto Il da Gino ist wirklich ein klasse Ristorante. Ich bin seit mehreren Jahren immer wieder zu Gast dort und es ist jedesmal perfetto. Der Service ist super freundlich, aufmerksam, es passt optimal. Die Speisekarte variiert je nach Saison. Egal was man bestellt es schmeckt einfach. Die pasta è fatto a casa. Mein persönlicher Favorit ist das Risotto con funghi.

Gute Adresse um gut zu Essen. Der Garten ist sehr ansprechend und schön zum sitzen.

1 Stunde Wartezeit für ein Thunfischsteak, innen durch wie aus der Dose, wenig Reis wenig blattspinat, lediglich 20 Prozent Nachlass, eigentlich sollte der Chef sich persönlich entschuldigen und keinen Preis hierfür verlangen Bedienung war sehr gut, musste wie gesagt die Situation ausbaden

Service top, die Inneneinrichtung bedarf Modernisierung und die Trüffelpasta hat mich leider nicht überzeugt.

Wir waren vor 2 Wochen zum ersten Mal dort und wurden sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen, der Service an diesem Abend war wirklich sehr zuvorkommend und alles war wirklich prima, wir hatten Pasta & Pizza und zur Vorspeise Bruschetta, es war sehr lecker! Für uns ein wunderschöner Abend

Alles bestens. Service sehr aufmerksam. Kleiner sehr guter Italiener.

Sehr gute Nudelgerichte auf hohem Niveau. Vorspeisen ebenso sehr hochwertig, bei Carpaccio fast etwas schade, dass es unter viel Rucola "versteckt" wird. Preise gehoben, gerade noch angemessen. Service ist sehr gut, freundlich und wirkt geschult, hier bleibt man in der Regel nicht lange vor leeren Gläser sitzen. Dadurch dass es in der Regel sehr voll und laut ist, leider etwas ungemütlich. Auch kommt es schon mal vor, dass man auf seinen reservierten Tisch noch warten muss oder man nach dem Essen gefragt wird, ob man an die Bar wechseln könnte, damit der Tisch für die nächste Reservierung frei wird.

Meiner Meinung nach ist das Da Gino das mit Abstand beste Restaurant in ganz Ingolstadt. Ich war schon in vielen Restaurants essen, aber dieses sticht komplett heraus. Es ist freundlich und unkompliziert, mit unfassbar netten Mitarbeitern und einem tollen Chef. Das Essen ist sehr, sehr lecker. Man fühlt sich willkommen, die Atmosphäre ist sehr entspannt, einfach top. Wir kommen immer wieder!

Der Eingang des Ladens befindet sich an der Seite, daher ist er vielleicht nicht ganz so leicht zu finden. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist jedoch sehr angenehm, und das Personal ist äußerst herzlich und freundlich. Der Käse in der Pasta ist sehr aromatisch, und die Pizza ist eine authentische italienische Pizza mit reichlich Belag.

War gestern das erste Mal im Da Gino aufgrund einer Weihnachtsfeier von ca. 20 Leuten. Kann nur sagen super Essen. Der Preis bewegt sich im höheren Bereich ist aber auch gerechtfertigt für das was man bekommt. Der Service war top. Kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Wir haben unsere Weihnachtsfeier mit 11 Personen dort gehabt und sind begeistert. Der Erstkontakt war schon super freundlich und unkompliziert. Vor Ort hat dann auch wirklich alles gepasst: Super leckeres Essen, sehr aufmerksame Kellnerinnen und Kellner und einfach gute Stimmung. Dieses Restaurant kann man nur empfehlen!

In addition to the fantastic cuisine, the service is also superb – attentive, friendly, and genuinely interested in the guest. I'd especially like to highlight the warmth of the owners, who immediately welcome you and give every visit a personal touch. This combination of outstanding cuisine, a family atmosphere, and genuine hospitality has made Da Gino our favorite restaurant in Ingolstadt for years. Tagliatelle with chanterelle mushrooms, tomatoes, and arugula, topped with mozzarella – I've never eaten such delicious, outstanding pasta in my life! Every forkful was a pure delight! A wonderful atmosphere, friendly and very attentive service! High praise to everyone!

For us, this is the best Italian restaurant in Ingolstadt. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is very good, whether it's pasta, fish, meat, or pizza. You can taste the high quality ingredients, which absolutely justify the higher price. We're frequent guests and will keep coming back. Excellent process, stress-free.

This was our first time here. The food and service were okay. The flambéed prawns were a bit too firm (perhaps they came out of the freezer at the last minute). Unfortunately, they only serve Purezza mineral water. Why not San Pellegrino or Aqua panna? It was also very loud inside, as it was Yes, Saturday night. We'll be back. E. and R.

The menu is very extensive. There's more than just pizza and pasta. We ate in a group of about 20 people. The mixed appetizer platters, which we pre-ordered when we made our reservation, were plentiful, and there was something for everyone, from carpaccio to octopus salad to vitello tonnato, various olive pastes, delicious Parmesan cheese, salad, and more. The main course was ordered a la carte by everyone in the group. From pizza, meat, fish, vegetarian, pasta, and rice, everyone ordered everything from the menu. I didn't hear a hint of dissatisfaction from any of the participants. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch. The dishes were all, without exception, very delicious and of the highest quality. There were no long waits. Everyone received their main course at approximately the same time. The wine list was appealing, and the beer was cold. The staff deserves special mention. They were all friendly, courteous, always attentive, and always on the lookout for the tables. I can only give it full marks, even though the restaurant is certainly not one of the cheapest. But quality doesn't come for free. Good staff deserves to be well paid. Conclusion: If I ever return to Ingolstadt, this restaurant will definitely be on my bucket list.

Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in the region! At Da Gino, you'll get your money's worth when it comes to culinary delights. The appetizers were delicious, and the flambéed pasta was a real highlight, not only in terms of taste but also in appearance. The service was consistently friendly, attentive, and professional. We were particularly impressed by the house wine by the glass (Primitivo). For us, wine by the glass is the hallmark of a good Italian restaurant. A definite recommendation!

For us the best restaurant in Ingolstadt! All dishes taste excellent, are prepared with attention to detail and are well portioned. Our recommendations: seafood salad, spaghetti da Gino, black homemade tagliatelle with salmon and (in season) mussels. We've tried a lot of other things and have never been disappointed. The menu is extensive and seasonal dishes are often highly recommended. The service is always friendly, fast and professional. In the summer it's great to sit outside, in the winter it can sometimes be a bit acoustically uncomfortable inside. We have been happy guests at Gino for years and are glad that the address exists in Ingolstadt!

One of the best Italian places Great ambiance and service

We went there on October 2024 and got in love with the pasta in parmisan roll with black truffle. We came back today (April 2025) and got disappointed since they replaced black truffle by the summer truffle, which is way lower quality. See the difference in both pictures. Not sure if we'll come back...

"Our" Italian in Ingolstadt. Every time we stay in Ingolstadt on vacation, we reserve a table and then enjoy the good food. A clear recommendation!

A real highlight in the old town of Ingolstadt near the Danube in a wonderful square. A real oasis of well-being! We had an excellent meal here. The service was awesome. The staff was very friendly, attentive, accommodating, but not intrusive. Bruscetta and beef gaspacio are recommended as starters. Main course black tagliatelle with pike perch with capers and olives (simply WOW). Rounded off with a fantastic cappuccino!

I had many Christmas parties with the companies where I worked. But with da Gino it's great. The steak English was phenomenal and the side salad was delicious. The staff was very cheerful and helpful. An experience. Gladly again.

We always rate restaurants based on their price-performance ratio. This left something to be desired in some areas during our visit. Starter platter (€20 per person) was disappointing. Seafood quality, yes. Tomatoes and melon were unripe, carpaccio and vitello were also eaten better. Only the pizza bread was convincing. Main courses, pizza very good, 23€. Pasta dishes were unspectacular, the sauce for the mussels (€20) was curdled and very salty. Everyone can judge drink prices for themselves. Filtered tap water 1l 7€. Espresso Corretto 11€! , served almost cold because the grappa was already in the cup. Grappa 9€. Conclusion: Food average, service friendly and attentive but also weaknesses, ambience is good, but very loud. Drink prices wow.

Solid, but expandable Overall the food was okay. The carpaccio was good and we liked it, but unfortunately the truffle pasta was too oily, which somewhat diminished the enjoyment. The service, on the other hand, was really top - friendly, attentive and fast, there's nothing to complain about. Al Gino is a very good place if you fancy drinks, pizza (bread) or antipasti. However, I would not recommend it for more sophisticated dishes or special occasions. Overall solid, but with potential for improvement.

Da Gino is a small restaurant. The menu offers a solid selection. However, there is a small downer: the flambéed spaghetti with brandy was unfortunately not prepared at the table. The staff was friendly and particularly attentive.

Beautiful ambience and pasta to fall in love with

Ontzettend gastvrij restaurant met goede Italiaanse keuken. We kwamen na een lange reis 5 minuten voor sluiting van de keuken binnen maar werden warm ontvangen ! Pizza’s en pasta’s van goed niveau. De Pizza Tartufo is zonder twijfel de best belegde en smakelijkste pizza die ik in jaren heb gegeten. Chapeau

First of all, a big compliment to the service - I haven't experienced anything this good in a long time. Cheers! A small greeting from the kitchen in advance, also excellent. Bruschetta Mix also recommended. Also some special pizza & pasta creations. Pizza dough wasn't my favorite but it was a great topping. Pasta also special and quite tasty. Very good portion sizes each. However, the pomegranate seeds on the pasta were a bit random. That doesn't have to be the case. Otherwise it was nice!

We met at Da Ginos for a dinner with friends. As non-residents, we only walked past it twice because the old business building is still there. The ambience is modern, very attractive, perhaps a bit cramped, but all in all very nice. The service was impressive, everything was perfect. From ordering to serving, including special requests and the taste of the food, everything was great. We were definitely not there for the last time. Small supplement: We were there again recently. The restaurant is still top in terms of food and friendliness of the service staff. There were four of us there that evening, some of whom had unusual requests that were implemented without any problems. For me it's still a top restaurant that's always worth going to.

Da Gino is worth a visit. We were thrilled with the food, the service and the location itself. The prices are appropriate for the overall package. Since it is a rather small restaurant, it is better to make a reservation to ensure you get a seat.

The restaurant serves really good traditional Italian food. I had the 4 bruschettas and a truffle pizza which was more than enough. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Please note that the restaurant can be full so book in advance and it is also not open on Tuesdays

The best restaurant in Ingolstadt. A little pricey but worth every cent. The greeting from the kitchen is a pleasure. Once we ordered a small feast “for collection” and it was very lovingly prepared. The service is top notch and everything tastes delicious - especially the appetizers. A very chic, feel-good restaurant where you feel welcome at any time.

Update 2023: Still the best Italian in town. Best “Italian” in Ingolstadt. Great food, all facets are served. Great selection. Service is very friendly. And even small extra requests are all fulfilled.
