The food is outstanding! Only the posing with footballers and some pseudo-celebrities doesn't make the restaurant any better. It's your outstanding cuisine, purely and simply. The best, tastiest Italian restaurant in Ingolstadt.

Truly perfect! The pizza, pasta, and fish dishes were really good, and the portions were almost perfect. The service was super friendly and very attentive! Highly recommended.

The menu is very extensive. There's more than just pizza and pasta. We ate in a group of about 20 people. The mixed appetizer platters, which we pre-ordered when we made our reservation, were plentiful, and there was something for everyone, from carpaccio to octopus salad to vitello tonnato, various olive pastes, delicious Parmesan cheese, salad, and more. The main course was ordered a la carte by everyone in the group. From pizza, meat, fish, vegetarian, pasta, and rice, everyone ordered everything from the menu. I didn't hear a hint of dissatisfaction from any of the participants. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch. The dishes were all, without exception, very delicious and of the highest quality. There were no long waits. Everyone received their main course at approximately the same time. The wine list was appealing, and the beer was cold. The staff deserves special mention. They were all friendly, courteous, always attentive, and always on the lookout for the tables. I can only give it full marks, even though the restaurant is certainly not one of the cheapest. But quality doesn't come for free. Good staff deserves to be well paid. Conclusion: If I ever return to Ingolstadt, this restaurant will definitely be on my bucket list.

Top-notch cuisine, a highly professional team, and therefore full marks from me. Unfortunately, there were a few mosquitoes, but there's not much a business can do about that.

Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in the region! At Da Gino, you'll get your money's worth when it comes to culinary delights. The appetizers were delicious, and the flambéed pasta was a real highlight, not only in terms of taste but also in appearance. The service was consistently friendly, attentive, and professional. We were particularly impressed by the house wine by the glass (Primitivo). For us, wine by the glass is the hallmark of a good Italian restaurant. A definite recommendation!

For us the best restaurant in Ingolstadt! All dishes taste excellent, are prepared with attention to detail and are well portioned. Our recommendations: seafood salad, spaghetti da Gino, black homemade tagliatelle with salmon and (in season) mussels. We've tried a lot of other things and have never been disappointed. The menu is extensive and seasonal dishes are often highly recommended. The service is always friendly, fast and professional. In the summer it's great to sit outside, in the winter it can sometimes be a bit acoustically uncomfortable inside. We have been happy guests at Gino for years and are glad that the address exists in Ingolstadt!

One of the best Italian places Great ambiance and service

We went there on October 2024 and got in love with the pasta in parmisan roll with black truffle. We came back today (April 2025) and got disappointed since they replaced black truffle by the summer truffle, which is way lower quality. See the difference in both pictures. Not sure if we'll come back...

"Our" Italian in Ingolstadt. Every time we stay in Ingolstadt on vacation, we reserve a table and then enjoy the good food. A clear recommendation!

A real highlight in the old town of Ingolstadt near the Danube in a wonderful square. A real oasis of well-being! We had an excellent meal here. The service was awesome. The staff was very friendly, attentive, accommodating, but not intrusive. Bruscetta and beef gaspacio are recommended as starters. Main course black tagliatelle with pike perch with capers and olives (simply WOW). Rounded off with a fantastic cappuccino!

I had many Christmas parties with the companies where I worked. But with da Gino it's great. The steak English was phenomenal and the side salad was delicious. The staff was very cheerful and helpful. An experience. Gladly again.

We always rate restaurants based on their price-performance ratio. This left something to be desired in some areas during our visit. Starter platter (€20 per person) was disappointing. Seafood quality, yes. Tomatoes and melon were unripe, carpaccio and vitello were also eaten better. Only the pizza bread was convincing. Main courses, pizza very good, 23€. Pasta dishes were unspectacular, the sauce for the mussels (€20) was curdled and very salty. Everyone can judge drink prices for themselves. Filtered tap water 1l 7€. Espresso Corretto 11€! , served almost cold because the grappa was already in the cup. Grappa 9€. Conclusion: Food average, service friendly and attentive but also weaknesses, ambience is good, but very loud. Drink prices wow.

Solid, but expandable Overall the food was okay. The carpaccio was good and we liked it, but unfortunately the truffle pasta was too oily, which somewhat diminished the enjoyment. The service, on the other hand, was really top - friendly, attentive and fast, there's nothing to complain about. Al Gino is a very good place if you fancy drinks, pizza (bread) or antipasti. However, I would not recommend it for more sophisticated dishes or special occasions. Overall solid, but with potential for improvement.

Da Gino is a small restaurant. The menu offers a solid selection. However, there is a small downer: the flambéed spaghetti with brandy was unfortunately not prepared at the table. The staff was friendly and particularly attentive.

Ontzettend gastvrij restaurant met goede Italiaanse keuken. We kwamen na een lange reis 5 minuten voor sluiting van de keuken binnen maar werden warm ontvangen ! Pizza’s en pasta’s van goed niveau. De Pizza Tartufo is zonder twijfel de best belegde en smakelijkste pizza die ik in jaren heb gegeten. Chapeau

First of all, a big compliment to the service - I haven't experienced anything this good in a long time. Cheers! A small greeting from the kitchen in advance, also excellent. Bruschetta Mix also recommended. Also some special pizza & pasta creations. Pizza dough wasn't my favorite but it was a great topping. Pasta also special and quite tasty. Very good portion sizes each. However, the pomegranate seeds on the pasta were a bit random. That doesn't have to be the case. Otherwise it was nice!

We met at Da Ginos for a dinner with friends. As non-residents, we only walked past it twice because the old business building is still there. The ambience is modern, very attractive, perhaps a bit cramped, but all in all very nice. The service was impressive, everything was perfect. From ordering to serving, including special requests and the taste of the food, everything was great. We were definitely not there for the last time. Small supplement: We were there again recently. The restaurant is still top in terms of food and friendliness of the service staff. There were four of us there that evening, some of whom had unusual requests that were implemented without any problems. For me it's still a top restaurant that's always worth going to.

Da Gino is worth a visit. We were thrilled with the food, the service and the location itself. The prices are appropriate for the overall package. Since it is a rather small restaurant, it is better to make a reservation to ensure you get a seat.

The restaurant serves really good traditional Italian food. I had the 4 bruschettas and a truffle pizza which was more than enough. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Please note that the restaurant can be full so book in advance and it is also not open on Tuesdays

The best restaurant in Ingolstadt. A little pricey but worth every cent. The greeting from the kitchen is a pleasure. Once we ordered a small feast “for collection” and it was very lovingly prepared. The service is top notch and everything tastes delicious - especially the appetizers. A very chic, feel-good restaurant where you feel welcome at any time.

Update 2023: Still the best Italian in town. Best “Italian” in Ingolstadt. Great food, all facets are served. Great selection. Service is very friendly. And even small extra requests are all fulfilled.

Very good pasta dishes at a high level. Starters are also very high quality, with carpaccio it's almost a shame that it's "hidden" under a lot of rocket. Prices are high, but still just reasonable. Service is very good and seems trained; you don't sit there for long with empty glasses. A little uncomfortable for the guest, at least on Saturdays, is that the restaurant is always "overcrowded" and guests often have to wait in the entrance area or at the bar for their reserved tables. After the meal you are also sometimes asked whether you would be willing to move to the bar because the table is needed. What is pleasing for the owners is that many tables are given away 2-3 times in the evening.

Great food. The prices are okay for a city like Ingolstadt. Neither expensive nor cheap. The ambience and service are impeccable. It is centrally located and you can park nearby in the public parking garages or take public transport almost to the door.

Das Ristorante Da Gino in der Stadtmitte von Ingolstadt gehört zu den besseren italienischen Restaurants in Ingolstadt. Zwar waren am Tag unseres Besuches die Trüffel aus, aber dennoch war das Essen in Summe sehr lecker und es gab genügend Alternativen zum Trüffel. Das Carpaccio mit Pilzen war ein Highlight und auch das Rinderfilet war sehr gut gebraten und zart. In Sachen Desserts gab es die Klassiker wie Panna Cotta oder Tiramisu, geschmacklich war es ok, aber nichts außergewöhnliches. Das Restaurant ist relativ klein, daher ist eine Reservierung empfehlenswert. Das Servicepersonal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Kartenzahlung ist möglich. Über eigene Parkplätze verfügt das Da Gino leider nicht, so dass man entweder einen der öffentlichen Parkplätze am Straßenrand in der Nähe nutzen und finden muss (gebührenpflichtig) oder die Theater-Tiefgarage gut 5 Gehminuten entfernt.

Wir waren (7 Personen) zum italienischen Abendessen. Meine Pizza war gut, mit eigenem Stil. Auch alle anderen waren mit Pasta, Fisch oder Salat sehr zufrieden. Preislich etwas höher, aber auch mehr berechtigt!

Das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker, Personal sehr freundlich Der "Gruß aus der Küche" schmeckt super Speisekarte ist im Internet nicht mehr aktuell alle Speisen ca. 2€ teurer

Schon die Auswahl an Gerichten Speisekarte zeigt, dass es sich um keinen "Durschnittsitaliener" handelt. Das Essen war in unserer Gruppe von 8 Personen durchgänig sehr lecker. Alle waren sehr zufrieden. Auch der Service war sehr gut. Sehr nette und freundliche Servicekräfte. Unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Meine Frau und ich waren heute zu „Gast“ in diesem tollen Restaurant. Wir wurden freundlich und mit einem Lächeln empfangen und genauso verabschiedet. Dazwischen fühlten wir uns in diesem wunderbaren Ambiente sehr wohl, was dem sehr guten Essen, den sehr aufmerksamen netten Damen (perfekte Gastgeber) und der Location zu verdanken ist. It was a really nice meal in the town. The outside area was extremely busy, so we sat inside. However, the decor and the atmosphere in the restaurant were great. The service was good and the food was very tasty. Two meals were ordered. The salmon and brocolli linguine was excellent. The other dish crab pasta was great, but we assumed it would come with crab, not just prawns. This may be a translation error on our side. Nevertheless, it was excellent value for money.

Das Essen war excellent. Das Rinderfilet mit Pfeffersauce wer einfach nur perfekt, ich hätte mich reinlegen können . Die Scampi mit dem perfekten Risotto mit Pfifferlingen waren auch auf den Punkt und einfach nur perfekt .

Am Samstag vor Ort gewesen. Reserviert auf 20:45. Angekommen uns sehr höflich zum Tisch gebracht worden. Beim Blick in die Karte sofort gemerkt das es keine Standartkarte ist. Sehr tolle und ausgefallene Gerichte. Schwarze Nudeln mit Steinpilzen und Sahnesoße und Filet mit Spaghetti aglio e olio bestellt. Das essen war wirklich sehr sehr lecker. Es gab nichts auszusetzen. Auch die Nachspeise (Schokosouffle) war sehr lecker. Espresso durfte auch nicht fehlen. Zwar preislich etwas höher aber dafür total gerechtfertigt. Tolles Ambiente. Top Kellner/innen. Wahnsinns Essen. Komme wieder!

Es wird bewusst auf der Homepage eine Speisekarte mit falschen Bzw. günstigeren Preisen gezeigt. Ca 11%-13% ist es dann teurer, was ich feststellen konnte. Vor 4 Jahren war dies wohl bereits Masche/ Taktik. Also ich denke nicht, dass es zufällig noch nicht upgedated wurde.
