On the second Sunday of Advent, we were in Bamberg with a larger group (14 people) and were looking for a restaurant for Friday evening. Finding a restaurant for 14 people on short notice is quite a challenge. But for the owner and staff at Kleehof, it was no problem at all. We easily arranged a time that suited the restaurant. And then we received a very warm welcome. There was a long table reserved for us, and we were seated somewhat separately. That was just right, because we had a great time. The waitresses contributed to this. They were relaxed, matched our good mood, and provided us with excellent service all evening. So, the service gets top marks! The same can be said for the food. I have rarely seen such a well-designed and clearly laid-out menu, where every dish lived up to its promise. There was absolutely nothing to criticize about the food, quite the opposite... It's no surprise that all this comes at a price, but it was worth every penny. We would like to thank them again for the wonderful evening and will gladly return. :-)

They accepted, and (while I invited the other women into the Kleehof), the table was lovingly set. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were simply fantastic. Thank you so much for that.

We had a wonderful Saturday evening in this restaurant. The service was very attentive but in no way intrusive. The atmosphere was very warm and the tables were well arranged, which gave the feeling of being private despite the restaurant being very busy. The food was really outstanding. The only point of criticism, the chocolate cake with a liquid core, could be improved. Unfortunately my core was not liquid. But the homemade ice cream made up for it! We would love to come back in the future!

Mein 3 Gang Menü war ein kulinarischer Genuss, die Vorspeise eine Pastinakensuppe war sehr gut, die Hauptspeise mit Saibling, Risotto und gebratenem Chicorée war super, doch der Nachtisch, ein Schokotörtchen mit Karotteneis und Grapefruit war der krönende Abschluss. Dazu ein sehr sehr zuvorkommendender Service. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur jedem ans Herz legen, der in Bamberg ist.

We were happy about the very child-friendly atmosphere, while as parents we still had a chic, adult-friendly meal :) The dishes were all delicious and very, very nicely presented. The aroma of the rosemary jus was perfect, the creamed parsnips went great with the duck, the Romanesco was perfectly cooked and the speculoos cream contained generous and plentiful nutty and fruity components. We were also very pleased with the children's menu, which not only included schnitzel and chicken nuggets, but also lovely little dishes for growing gourmets. We had a very nice evening.

We were here for dinner during the week. The restaurant was still relatively empty at this point, but then filled up well. The waitresses there were really great, they immediately assigned a table, pointed out the cloakroom and brought cards to the table. The drinks were then quickly picked up and served. But all of this without seeming intrusive. Finally, the food was picked up and served relatively simultaneously after a short wait. Which is not a given with 6 people and different dishes. The food itself came to the table hot, we were also warned 😂 The taste was really great, but if you're really hungry the portions might be a little too small. Desserts were also ordered, which were also very tasty, and afterwards we were full. I don't give it 5 stars because there could be a little more on the plate given the higher prices. The taste is really delicious and the service is absolutely top notch. We'd love to come back.

Only the music in the background (which is kept very quiet) could be adjusted to suit the ambience. Not from the volume, which was discreetly in the quiet range, but from the genres, which during my visit were in the area of ​​chart music and in my opinion this doesn't do justice to the very stylish place.

Wir waren sehr kurzfristig und eher zufällig zu fünft im Restaurant Kleehof im Hotel Europa. Wir hatten Lammspieß, die Dorade, etc. Und als Nachspeise, den gegrillten Pfirsich. Geschmacklich alles einwandfrei/ sehr gut. Der Service, eine junge, Dame hervorragend. Wir können das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

We’ve been in Germany for 3 weeks and this was one of the best meals we’ve had. While they have the usual German offerings, there is also a wonderful lamb kabob and a lovely short rib dish. We sat in the gorgeous garden out back. Good service too!

The menu for children including colored pencils for coloring is a brilliant idea. The parents are also spoiled by the kitchen. The preparation and quality is very good and recommended. The price is ambitious for Bamberg, but justified.

Das Servicepersonal war immer extrem freundlich und kompetent. Die Gerichte sind grundsätzlich schmackhaft und gut zubereitet. Wir und unser Hund fühlten uns stets ausgesprochen willkommen und gut betreut. Hübscher Garten! Beim letzten Besuch fiel meine Wahl allerdings leider auf das Steak des Monats, ein Entrecôte für 33 €. Dieses war zwar perfekt gebraten, die Fleischqualität ließ allerdings sehr zu wünschen übrig. Die Vielzahl der Sehnen im Fleisch ließen keine Genussmomente aufkommen. Hinzu kommt, dass die 5 halben kleinen Rosmarinkartoffeln im Rahmen einer Beilagenänderung für 2,50 € wirklich klein dimensioniert waren. Für Steaks gibt es in Bamberg weit bessere Optionen. Der Abend war wirklich enttäuschend. Schade!

Unfortunately, on my last visit, my choice fell on the steak of the month, an entrecôte for €33. Although it was perfectly fried, the quality of the meat left a lot to be desired. The large number of tendons in the meat meant that there were no moments of enjoyment. In addition, the 5 halves of small rosemary potatoes were really small in size as part of a side dish change for €2.50. There are far better options for steaks in Bamberg. The evening was really disappointing. A pity!

On the first evening of our 3-day city visit to Bamberg, we visited the KLEEHOF restaurant in the Gärtnerstadt for dinner and were thrilled: by the cozy atmosphere in the inner courtyard, where you could sit and enjoy in peace, completely shielded from the hustle and bustle of the main street, and by the menu (versatile! ), from the food itself (everything was fresh, very tasty and visually appealing!) and, above all, from the casual friendliness and reserved hustle and bustle of the service staff, who didn't just "serve" but established contact with the guests in a relaxed, friendly and cheerful manner. Our stop there was a highlight at the end of our first day in Bamberg. If we come to this beautiful city again, we will definitely come back to the KLEEHOF.

Very, very good and high-class restaurant in the middle of Bamberg!!! Super great food and drinks! Everything on the menu is recommended! Even better are the waiters, cooks and other service staff (stars INSIDE 😉) All of those mentioned were extremely friendly, helpful, competent and attentive!!! The prices were also surprisingly "normal" for today's times, although the restaurant appears to be of very high quality... In short: The KLEEHOF restaurant is an unrivaled alternative to the other breweries and waiters in Bamberg and a visit is highly recommended! TIP: Be sure to reserve in advance! The restaurant is well attended (which is not surprising given these offers and the great staff)! 😍 👍 👏

We had a nice dinner here. It has a more upscale ambiance than the breweries around town, and a great menu. I enjoyed the Geschmortes vom Rind (roasted beef) with root vegetables, while my wife had a nice Spargel plate with Bernaise sauce.

Very good selection with delicious dishes. The starter was the tapas trilogy, the main course was the entrecôte (fried medium rare as requested - unfortunately not quite evenly but that was probably due to a piece of fat in the meat; side dishes were just the right amount... so the meat was in the foreground; just a little too much herb butter for my taste) and nougat mousse for dessert. Paired with a matching white wine. Ambiance is very nice and quiet; the service staff very friendly and attentive. I particularly liked that there was a short break between courses (unfortunately I've had a different experience).

We had dinner there, nicely decorated and very friendly staff. My starter of vegan strudel and main course of polenta with mushrooms with fried onion rings, broccoli and other salads were very well seasoned and extremely tasty. Vegans can eat very well there.

We were there for Valentine's brunch. It was amazing, the diversity was impressive. Hard to say what was the highlight, the breakfast buffet or the lunch portions that were brought to the table. Everything was delicious.

Wir waren gast beim ersten flying Buffet brunch im kleehof. Feinstes, liebevoll angerichtetes und sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Unglaubliche Auswahl und unglaublich köstlich. Das Geheimnis war, was ist ein flying Buffet? Total lieb angerichtete, köstliche Leckereien kamen zwischendurch immer wieder auf dem Tablett angeflogen, balanciert von so netten Bedienungen, wahrscheinlich Engel, die haben ja bekanntlich flügel. Rätsel gelöst. Die Engel flogen unermüdlich auch zur Mittagszeit. Es gab fliegenden Zackenbarsch im Kartoffelmantel auf Spinatrisotto und Kräutersaitling, Schweinefilet mit shitakesahnesosse, Tagliatelle mit Rote Beete Pesto, feines Süppchen und Wildkräutersalat mit rehküchlein. Wieder, so köstlich. Wir sagen Dankeschön, dem ganzen Team, ein Hoch auf die köche, auf die Engel, Herrn mula... Es war zauberhaft bei euch.
