We wanted to eat some really good burgers again, and we weren't disappointed. Incredibly friendly service, fantastic burgers. Everything was freshly prepared and attractively presented. Highly recommended! Making a spontaneous reservation was absolutely hassle-free. We'd be happy to come back.

I never usually update reviews, but I just had to do it here. We come here every 2-3 months, and everything's always perfect. The service is fantastic, the food is always perfect, and the value for money is absolutely fair. We always feel very welcome and comfortable here. Thank you for that.

This was our first time at Leonrod and we had excellent food and drinks. The outdoor area is very attractive, cozy, and exudes a holiday atmosphere. The very friendly, personable, and warm service deserves special mention. We had a wonderful evening, thank you very much! A slightly expanded whiskey selection would be great. 🥃

The place to be in Traunstein. This restaurant not only has the best beer in town, but also excellent food. Fresh, regional, seasonal, top-notch. The entire staff is friendly and extremely attentive. I'd especially like to mention Laura; she lives for her job and is an excellent host. There's a beautiful courtyard, which is partially covered. Weather permitting, we always sit outside. Inside, there's a great bar and restaurant, with great attention to detail. I can wholeheartedly recommend Leonrod to everyone. We've even held larger family celebrations here, and it all went smoothly. :)

Nice location, friendly service, and good burgers (the bun was a bit dry, but I liked the rest 🙃). The prices are in the upper mid-range, but the burgers were also a decent size 🍔 If you want to come here, it's best to call ahead; spontaneous visits aren't always possible.

Spontaneously found this restaurant while passing through and the food (we had the goat cheese, the ribeye and a crème brulee) is incredibly good. It is also very commendable to note that no annoying paper straws are given with the drinks, but rather those made of stainless steel upon request and the small, soft guest towels made of cotton instead of the rough ones made of paper. The industrial atmosphere is also beautiful and the service staff are very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately for us as Viennese by choice, this restaurant is not exactly around the corner, but if we are in the area again, we would be happy to come back🤩.

Here all the service staff actually check across tables to see if everything is OK and also take orders. We were at Leonrod on New Year's Eve. The restaurant was packed to capacity. However, the two waitresses, with their great insight, friendliness, and speed, managed to take orders quickly, serve the excellent food from the kitchen, and clear away empty plates promptly. Outstanding service!

We came and had no reservation. They manage to give us a table. We where able to stay longer and had a great service and the suggestion if the duck burger which was a specialty of the day was so good. We got a table in a corner close by the bar very cozy and not so loud. Loved the waitress and really can recommend it. Bring time and enjoy the food

The restaurant is very nice and cozy. The staff is really very accommodating and takes allergies into account, asks again and also checks the other dishes to see if there is something appropriate in them. :) The food is very tasty, excellent fries and tender, perfectly fried steak. The toilets are also very clean. I can really recommend the restaurant.

Top address in Traunstein. Good food, great location in the old metalworking shop of the Wochinger brewery. Whether it's a burger or a steak, everyone will find what they're looking for here. The whole thing is crowned with the delicious Wochinger beer. Also great for private parties.

A real pearl amongst restaurants in Traunstein. Specialized as a steakhouse, but you find also very good pasta and great cocktails here. I definitely recommend this place, it has a very beautiful garden for summer time, and a cozy ambient inside for winter time. Simply Great!

The Traunstein restaurant if you fancy burgers and steaks. The atmosphere on the ground floor (industrial style) is very casual. However, the atmosphere on the first floor is a bit cold. Here I liked the red wall color in the former “Nanu” better. For the most part, the service works very ambitiously, but could do with an increase in staff.

Nice restaurant. We were there in the evening, there were not many people, the hall was large. Background music, not loud. Wonderful setting. The kitchen is good. Very tasty. I recommend it.

Great place, fantastic food and above all good beer. I had the 350g sirloin steak with potato wedges and three kinds of dip, it was fried the way I wanted it and well seasoned and therefore very tender. The restaurant was very busy, but the service was not neglected and we were very attentive.

Super Essen,nettes Lokal, freunlicher Service aber leider auch unfähiger Service. Waren eine größere Gruppe und nach dem Essen um ca. 20:30 bekamen wir fast keine Getränke mehr, ebenso wurden die leeren Gläser nicht mehr abgeräumt.

Sehr sehr sehr leckeres Essen!! Bedienung stets freundlich und Burger nur zu empfehlen! 🍔 Jederzeit komme ich wieder hier hin!

Waren auf unserem Urlaub auf der Durchreise und sind hier nur durch einen Zufall gelandet und darüber im Nachhinein sehr glücklich gewesen. Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service, das Essen wirklich sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Schade, dass HH soweit weg ist.

Wirklich seht guter Burger im schönen Buergarten, selfmade Beef, geschmacklich top, verschiedene Kreationen, aber auch Steaks und Ribs sahen super aus, vegetarische Küche, Vorspeisen, absoluter Tip.

Das Leonrod kann man nur empfehlen. Wochinger Bier und einen Beef Leonrod Burger. Unfassbar lecker...

Das Leonrod mausert sich zu einem unserer liebsten Restaurants im Traunsteiner Bereich. Der Service ist immer sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich willkommen. Die Spareribs und Burger sind mehr als reichlich und preislich fair. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern nicht optimal, außer im Sommer im eigenen Biergarten. Der Biergarten ist sehr gemütlich.

Wir waren begeistert. Tolle Burger! Besonders ist auch das Mousse au Chocolate zu empfehlen. Dabei tolle Atmosphäre und super netter Service.

Sehr leckeres Rib-Eye mit Wilden Kartoffeln gegessen.

Toller Service tolles Essen geniale Atmosphäre im Biergarten bzw. Scheune. Wir hatten Burger und Salat mit Garnelen. Portionen sind groß. Geschmacklich sehr gut.

Die Atmosphäre und die Servicekraft sind einfach toll, ich komme hier immer wieder gerne hin. Die Bedienung bringt meinem Hund immer sofort ein Wasser und ist allgemein sehr aufmerskam <3 nur zu empfehlen. Der Koch hat auch einiges auf dem Kasten, das Essen war jedes mal sehr lecker.

Man sieht sofort dass das Restaurant geschmackvoll designed und mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet wurde.Der Außenbereich erinnert leicht an einen biergarten nur mit besseren Eigenschaften. Sehr grün, ruhig und eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Auch die Bedienung überzeugt mit Ihrer freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Art. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungenes Restaurant mit sehr leckeren Essen, schönes Ambiente und netten Personal. Wir freuen uns auf einen Wiederbesuch.

Kleiner geheim Tipp sau guad super Essen sehr nettes Personal 💪👍

Ich würde wirklich gerne etwas zum Essen sagen. Wir waren am Sonntag dort. Ich bin vorgegangen weil wir nicht reserviert hatten. Beim betreten stellte ich fest die Gaststube innen ist leer, also LEER leer. Es war zirka 1845. Ich fragte ob wir uns mit 5 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern einen Platz suchen können. Ob wir reserviert hätten wurde gleich mal gefragt. "Ernsthaft?" war der erste Gedanke. Aber gut. "Nein haben wir nicht gehts trotzdem?" Mit einem ja ok wurde mir der Weg in den Gastgarten gezeigt. Dort vllt 5 Tische belegt. Wieder der Gedanke "Echt jetzt? Reservieren?!". Nachdem wir also Platz genommen haben gab es eine halbe Stunde lang nur eine einziges ansprechen einer Kellnerin mit "Habt ihr reserviert?". ES WAREN 5 TISCHE BELEGT DRAUßEN! Nach 30 Minuten sitzen, es war dann bereits 1915, ohne ein "Hallo hier die Karte ich komme gleich." oder dergleichen sind wir gegangen und zum Goldenen-M gefahren. Ich bin mir sicher das essen ist gut. Es hat echt gut gerochen. Aber beim Service müsst ihr gewaltig anziehn. Ich verlang keinen Goldenen löffel und Zucker im Ars**. Aber zumindestens das ansprechen wäre schon nett gewesen. Wenn schon eh kaum Gäste da sind ist meine Toleranz dahingehend eigentlich bei Null.

Service war sehr nett , allerdings kann man von draussen vor der Eingangstür in die Küche sehen und wenn dann, während nebenbei noch gekocht wird, die Küche geputzt wird, direkt über den Zutaten, welche nicht abgedeckt sind, wird's ein wenig fragwürdig... Müsst ihr wissen

Preis - Leistung ist ok. Sehr lecker. Zubereitung und Qualität top. Sehr freundlich, aufmerksam aber nicht zu aufdringlich. Sehr schönes Ambiente, für ein Date. Ich habe einen hammer Burger gegessen und meine Begleitung ein sehr zartes Steak.

Ich gehe seit jahren in dieses Restaurant. Das Essen war und ist hier ausgezeichnet. Auch das Ambiente gefällt mir sehr gut. Leider war der Service bei meinen letzten Besuchen nicht mehe gut um nicht zu sagen schlecht. Die Kerze am Tisch war und wurde nicht angezündet, wir saßen mehrmals sehr lange mit leeren Gläsern da und zum zahlen mussten wir uns dann jemanden suchen. Es ist nicht sehr schön wenn man dann das gesamte Servicepersonal vor der Tür beim rauchen findet und drinnen die Gäse warten und hier waren wir nicht die einzigen.

Super Ambiente, Sehr nettes Personal, und top Essen! Qualität, Preis und Portionen sind unschlagbar. Das Bier kommt von Gegenüber und schmeckt hervorragend! Sogar die Toiletten sind erwähnenswert und sollten auf jeden Fall besucht werden :) Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort und werden definitiv wieder kommen.

Qualitativ hochwertiges Restaurant mit ausgezeichneten, sehr leckeren Speisen. Vor allem Burger und Steak! Das Essen ist sehr ansprechend angerichtet und preislich sehr in Ordnung. Der Service ist außerordentlich freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist eher rustikal. Unbedingt weiterzuempfehlen! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren heute Abend zu zweit beim Essen und es war ein rundum gelungener Abend! Das Personal war während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes freundlich, zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und unglaublich schnell. Das Essen (Steak und Hähnchen-Brust) war auf den Punkt zubereitet und wirklich lecker. Preis-Leistung passt hier absolut. Vielen lieben Dank und bis bald ! ☺️
