So great there. Beautiful hut, great location, very friendly and really tasty. An absolute highlight. Good selection and great quality. Many options, a break on a "side slope" while skiing, a short hike from the valley station or even an overnight stay. But the hut is always worth a stop

Great nice service. Great selection of food! Clean toilets. The steak platter was very good, but the cheese noodles on the platter were too crispy for us. Unfortunately no strings were pulled and rather too hard. The rest was really fabulous and very tasty! Cozy hut to feel good :) would love to come back!

Nothing at all. Door locked because they had a private party later. We are elderly and after the tough walk along the waterfall everything is closed. Very bad😡

Were there as a group (reserved in the evening with pre-ordered food) the apple fritters are amazing 👌 very cozy hut. Service was great. I can't say anything about the menu, prices and waiting time because no one else was there with us 😃 Food was very tasty.

We waited on the terrace for half an hour, the waitress walked past us five times and didn't serve us!!! We left the hut again.

I've known the Kronenhütte since I was 13 because my aunt had the Sonnenbichl and I always went skiing there. Whenever I'm in Allgäu I visit Nesselwang and the Kronenhütte.

Offer of food and drink as well as service on site is great. But the big drawback is that no card payment is possible. This fact is not pointed out either on the train or on the signposts. There is also no sign of it in front of the hut or at the entrance and on the website you can only find it at the bottom in an almost hidden place. You only have a negative experience when you pay. Very unfortunate. And the kind of excuse given that “in Germany it is generally not possible to pay by card on the mountain” is simply wrong and cheeky. You can already pay by card at another restaurant on the same mountain. If you use the leisure activities on the same mountain, you can only pay by card at the toboggan run! And I know countless other huts in Bavaria - also nearby - where card payments work without any problems. Therefore, despite good offerings and service, this is an example of a lack of customer friendliness and honesty. Too bad.

Our group received a warm welcome and we didn't miss anything! So friendly and attentive the staff; great! And the food is excellent! We would love to come back!

Nice little hut on the Alpspitze. Not a typical tourist hut. We ate and drank well and deliciously. Prices completely reasonable.

A very nice hut with very good food. But unfortunately not recommended for families with small children. Unfortunately, the small playground that existed in recent years is no longer in use, as can be seen in the picture. It seems very loveless. It's a shame, unfortunately we won't be coming back with children. Tip: tear down the playground so no one will be disappointed.

We had an amazing party. The spiral staircase to the toilet can be your downfall. The host and waitresses are in a great mood, drinks are cool and the food is delicious. View is great.

Beautiful hut between the valley station and the middle station, where the Enzianstube is also located. We ate and drank a little something there and were very satisfied.

My family and I had a lovely overnight stay in the hut. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. We enjoyed a great dinner and breakfast. Greetings to the chef Michael👍🏻🇦🇺

Opened on May 1st, 2024. We were sent away and didn't even get anything to drink even though there were guests on the terrace. Never again!

You can eat and sit very well. Can also be reached on foot but is a steep climb. Service was very friendly even though it was very hectic at peak times.

Always worth a trip! Very warm and personal service from Anja and Lisa. The ambience is simply tasteful and beautiful. The food - mmmhhhh yummy - whether Kässpatzen, Kaiserschmarrn, Angus steak - everything was perfect and tasted great. We took the gondola to the middle station and walked the 10 minutes to the Kronenhütte. Then it's a bit steep down the asphalt path to the valley on foot. You can also walk up to the middle station and take the gondola back down.

Nice destination. Either on foot up the forest hiking trail or comfortably with the chair lift. Great view, when the weather is nice, sit on the terrace and enjoy the day. There is good home-style cooking here, highly recommended. The hut is run by a family and you feel “at home”.

CLOSED, although it says everywhere that it is open on Tuesday. Sad

We looked at the opening times on Google, but it probably isn't updated here that Tuesdays are suddenly supposed to be a day off. We drove here for an hour and then something like this happened. Even its own sign says it's open Tuesday. We weren't alone up here who made their way back down upset and disappointed! Very weak!

Top Service und sehr leckerer Kaiserschmarren. Tolles Ambiente, sowohl draußen wie auch innen. Hüttenfeeling pur. Einziger Kritikpunkt: nur Barzahlung möglich!

Waren hier für eine kurze Pause. Leider bekamen wir keinen Kaiserschmarrn, da so viel los war und der Koch es zeitlich nicht schaffte. Hatten dann was anderes bestellt. Am Sonntag ist hier so viel los, das man sich lieber eine Alternative suchen sollte.

Sehr leckere "Kässpatzen". Warme Küche von 11:30-14:30 Uhr und von 18:00-20:00 Uhr. Für die aktuellen Öffnungszeiten unbedingt die Homepage konsultieren.

Wo/wer bist du? Ich war mit meinen Zwillis am 10.09.23 auf der Alpspitz. Gegen 15:00 kamen wir an der Kronenhütte an und durften uns zu dir an den Tisch 43 setzen. Leider mussten wir uns beeilen und so traute ich mich nicht, dich direkt anzusprechen. Auf dem Talweg sah ich dich im Sessellift nach unten fahren und dann nochmal kurz unten. Auch dort waren wir kurz vor Feierabend in Eile um noch mit dem Coaster zu fahren. Und als wir wieder unten waren, warst du leider nicht mehr da. Seither gehst du, deine Augen und dein Lächeln mir nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. Also bitte melde dich. Wenn du Interesse hast, dann findest du sicher einen Weg.

Wunderbar dieses Essen und Lokalität. Wir lieben es. Schön dass es euch gibt.

Super nette Lokation mit leckerem Essen. Die Käsespätzle sind zu empfehlen. Bratkartoffeln mit Leberkäs sind auch lecker.

Herrlich urige Bilderbuch-Hütte mit schönem Biergarten und aussichtsreicher Terrasse. Innen herrscht ein sehr dominater Duft nach "altem Gemäuer" wie bei alten Hütten üblich und außen ist es bei gutem Wetter wirklich toll um eine Rast einzulegen.

Einfach nur spitze. Essen sehr sehr lecker und die beiden Damen, die uns bedient super freundlich und herzlich. Hier fühlt man sich willkommen! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Wer 'meckert'...besser lesen oder selbst besser machen. Wir empfehlen die Kronenhütte gern und zu 100 % weiter. Danke für die tolle Rast bei euch und macht bitte weiter so!

Gut gelegene Hütte für Wanderer, freundlicher Service, gutes Essen. Eigentlich stimmt alles. Aber heute war ich wirklich enttäuscht. Ich habe eine Portion Käsespätzle bestellt. Bei der Rechnung traf mich dann der Schlag. Die Käsespätzle sind im dem Flyer auf den Tischen mit 13,90 € ausgewiesen, ich musste dann aber eine doppelte Portion also 27,80 € bezahlen. Angeblich würden Käsespätzle nur in der großen Pfanne als zweier Portion verkauft. Warum werden sie dann mit 13,90 € ausgewiesen? Das ist aus meiner Sicht leider eine Täuschung und dafür muss ich einfach einen Stern abziehen auch wenn alles andere wirklich gepasst hat. Bitte in der Karte dann auch drauf schreiben dass es eine doppelte Portion Käsespätzle für 27,80 Euro ist!

Gemütliche kleinere Hütte mit nettem Service und leckeren Gerichten, insbesondere die Kässspatzen. Schnell, schön und problemlos z.B. über den Wasserfallweg zu erreichen. Daher auch durch die längeren Öffnungszeiten für eine kleine Abendrunde, nach dem Tagesansturm, gut erreichbar und empfehlenswert. Zudem nette Aussicht nach Nesselwang.

Sehr nette Berghütte. Liebe Bedingungen und gutes Essen. Portionen sind reichhaltig. Schöner Platz um auszuruhen und sich für den weiteren Weg bergauf oder bergab, zu akklimatisieren. Im Winter ist es hier bestimmt auch sehr schön. Grüße an die netten Bedienungen.

Wir waren da mit einer riesigen Gruppe aber sie haben es logistisch super hinbekommen und waren jederzeit freundlich. Die Brotzeitplatte war hervorragend, der Kaiserschmarrn hat die meisten meiner Kollegen schwer begeistert. Für Gruppen und Events uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Waren dort zur Mittagszeit als Familie mit Kindern. Das Essen war super lecker, das Personal sehr freundlich und die Tische schön gedeckt. Keine lange Wartezeit und angemessene Preise. Auch die Toiletten waren sehr sauber, sogar mit Wickeltisch ausgestattet. Super war, dass man per Paypal bezahlen konnte, da keine Kartenzahlung möglich war. Oft ist so ein Mittagessen beim Wandern doch spontan und man hat nicht genug Bargeld dabei. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden jederzeit wieder kommen!
