The Cordon Bleu was dry and didn't taste any of the Obatzter. The chicken rolls were delicious...but the bulgur risotto mush...yum.

The schnitzel was unbreaded with ready-made sauce, the only things that were good were the spaetzle and the bread dumplings. Fresh Bavarian cuisine looks different.

Knuckle & roast pork was ordered (2 people ate). The two dishes were lukewarm. The dumplings (one dumpling per dish) were tasteless or had a hard edge and tasted rather cold and strange. The sauces didn't taste like they usually do in Bavaria and the quantity of food was little to average. Unfortunately the roast pork tasted bland - a shame. Little meat when minced, but the taste was okay. We each tried each other’s dishes. Both waiters were great and courteous, even polite towards children.👍👍👍 The food was brought out quickly, but I don't judge whether this is a bad or good sign. Ambience average.

The food was good. The portions are too small and the price/performance ratio is not right.

Quite simply but functionally furnished. There are the obligatory schnitzels in various variations, knuckles and delicious Hungarian cuisine. (The pork goulash is highly recommended) You can sit outside in a beer garden and enjoy a beer after work, for example.

Went for lunch with the whole family. We were served nicely and the food was fantastic. The boss is also very friendly. Keep it up! Happy to come back!

If a restaurant has “Brauerei-Gasthof” in its name but doesn’t offer its own beer, you should be suspicious. My Kaiserschmarrn was somewhat reminiscent of a yeast pastry; the raisins were subsequently added to the pan and baked until hard; I wasn't happy about the extra lumps of sugar either.

Positive: friendly Hungarian waitresses. Negative: Food didn't taste good at all (goulash soup extremely diluted with water and tasteless, Hungarian garlic schnitzel smeared with cold sour cream and covered with cold grated cheese), prices very high, place very, musty, dark and in need of renovation.

We are definitely NOT coming back! The dining room is very dark, old and uncomfortable. The toilets are ancient and not clean, there were no towels or a hand dryer. The Kässpatzen lacked cheese and overall flavor, but the fried onions were delicious. The side salad consisted of 5 whole lettuce leaves in a mini bowl. The bread dumpling was dry and had no taste, the sauce was very thin and tasteless, the roast pork had a very unique taste. When we asked to swap the natural schnitzel with a breaded schnitzel, we received a cordon bleu gratinated with cheese. The Obatzte in the Allgäu-Cordonbleu was hardly present and watery. Fries were okay but a bit limp.

A “children’s portion” of Bavarian schnitzel for €19.50 is almost cheeky. Price/performance isn't really right here. It's a shame, so I don't recommend it, there are better options.

The food was delicious, unfortunately I couldn't try everything on vacation. But I liked what I tried. There are definitely some typical Bavarian dishes. The beer garden is really cozy when the weather is nice. There's plenty of beer too To select. The service is super friendly and probably a reason for many good reviews. I can really recommend everyone to stop here for lunch or dinner. It's definitely worth a visit!

We spontaneously found space without a reservation. The place was normally full at lunchtime. Service was nice, attentive and quick. For food we had sausage strudel soup, small salad, cheese spaetzle and Szeged goulash with bread dumplings. The taste was good. You could eat very well. However, the portions are quite small. You also have to say that charging almost €7 for two slices of sausage meat strudel with broth and almost €5 for three half-leaves of lettuce is almost cheeky. You can definitely adjust something there.

After leaving my luggage at the hotel and looking for an early dinner, I ordered two steaks from a restaurant I went to and ate them with my husband. The meat was tender and served with beet salad and potatoes, so the taste and flavor were good. It wasn't too salty, so I ate it slowly so I could finish it all**. **

Disappointing!!!! The menu sounded very promising, but the food wasn't good. Unfortunately, the Jägerschnitzel was tough, the mushrooms in the sauce probably came from a jar and the sauce was very thick and tasteless; It probably wasn't homemade! Unfortunately, the Bavarian Cordon Blue was also tough and you couldn't taste any Obazda. Unfortunately it was also dry. Dark, gloomy, uncomfortable... it's called Bavarian cuisine... but it's not... the Kääääässs was missing from the Kässpatzen, beef cheeks with a pumpkin sauce were extremely sweet and came to the table with a thick skin , was probably sitting there somewhere for a while. The goulash soup was hardly seasoned at all and caused extreme heartburn for two days. The waiter was very nice and polite, even took my food back immediately, but there was a schnitzel with fries without ketchup and mayonnaise...

Old Bay. Inn. Although there was hardly any activity, the service time was very long. The food was not a culinary revelation as ready-made soup and sauces were used. Portion manageable

The food was canteen-like. My wife had the spinach dumpling (1x dumpling) with only cream sauce and half a cup of whipped cream (€12.90). I had schnitzel with cheese gratinated with spaetzle (€18.90). The only positive thing was the nice waiter.

Service was friendly, a quick glance at the occupied tables as you walked past would have been good. Food was tasty, fries were a bit dry and the Cordon Bleu portion was clear. Still happy to come back.

The best thing was the beer... Even though this brewery restaurant doesn't have its own beer. The schnitzel we ordered was bone dry and the fries were hard and dry. Unfortunately, my cheese spaetzle was absolutely too salty. For 2 half liters of beer, a schnitzel/fries and 1 x cheese spaetzle, we spent 54.70 euros. Good thing we were just passing through and will definitely never come back here again.

The service was friendly, but took a lot of time. The food was OK. The restaurant is quite dark, but cozy. There are still better restaurants in the area. We won't be coming back.

Bavarian cuisine as you imagine it with still fair prices. A young team of waiters, both of whom are on the ball. Friendly, courteous and fast. Beautifully decorated for carnival 🥳🤡 . The pork knuckle was really great, not dry but super tender and the crust was crispy. The schnitzel with Allgäu cheese and ham gratinated with spaetzle or fries were also really recommended. Conclusion we will be back 👍🏽😉

We spent a lovely evening with our friends with good service and delicious food.

We used to love going to this restaurant, but unfortunately it's completely gone now. The food came cold, partially burnt and the meat was served completely cooked through, even though medium rare was requested. It's a real shame what has become of this.

Very friendly staff, great ambience, beef cheeks were very tender, I personally thought the sauce was good (my wife didn't like it), wheat from the barrel was excellent 👍🏼, the beef roulade was quite tough, the bread dumpling was dry, and overall the food was rather cold lukewarm than hot.

Freitag Nachmittag,14:30 Uhr. Da findet man normalerweise kein Restaurant, dass eine warme Küche bietet. Doch hier im Bären waren wir nicht die einzigen die zu dieser Uhrzeit etwas Warmes gegessen haben. Uriges Ambiente, gut bürgerliche Küche, dank des Ofens im Winter ganz gemütlich. Das Essen kam schnell und auch das Gutscheinbuch/Schlemmerblock wurde akzeptiert. Jederzeit wieder!

Auf der Heimreise hungrig geworden und spontan Halt gemacht. Zwiebelrostbraten medium auf den Punkt wie bestellt. Die Kässpätzle als Beilage eine super Kombi und lecker. Ambiente und erster Eindruck dürfte etwas aufgepimpt werden.

Kein Bärenschnitzel mehr auf der Karte. Von der gehypeten Käsesuppe auch keine Spur mehr. Die Vegetarische Auswahl ist traurig: Spinatknödel sind aus. Gut, dann eben Germknödel. Aber leider auch aus. Die Sauce bei den Spätzle ist mit Fleisch gekocht. Dann halt Pommes. Auf der Karte gibt es „für Frauen“ als einziges Getränk nen Aperol Spritz. Und den „M*hren“ kann man sich auch bestellen. Dafür dann aber eine Stunde (im fast leeren Laden) gewartet und die hustende Bedienung macht die Experience perfekt. Letztendlich gingen die Getränke aufs Haus, weil wir bei der Warterei fast gegangen wären und die Bedienung hat sich dreimal entschuldigt. Deswegen gibt’s nen zweiten Stern.

Außerhalb der Saison haben wir gut Platz bekommen. Speisekarte im positiven Sinne gut bürgerlich. Wir hatten Hirschgulasch und Käsespatzen, beides war sehr gut. Der Beilagensalat war etwas ideenlos. Einrichtung sehr urig, gerne wieder

Es war okay, aber es gibt Verbesserungspotenzial. Ambiente geht so, direkt an der Hauptstraße, recht dunkel eingerichtet und etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Wir waren im November dort und es war viel zu kalt und ungemütlich. Von einer Heizung keine Spur und ständig kalte Zugluft. Die Gäste hatten teilweise ihre Jacken an. Das Essen war lecker, aber leider extrem wenig (Pommes) siehe Bild. Preis/Leistung stimmt hier nicht! Zu guter Letzt aber sehr bemühtes und freundliches Personal! Ich denke wir geben dem Restaurant im Sommer im Biergarten nochmal eine Chance

Urige und schöne Atmosphäre. Essen ist richtig super. Große Portionen, konnte leider nicht alles aufessen aber man wird gefragt ob man den Rest mitnehmen möchte. Service ist sehr nett. Kann nur empfehlen, es lohnt sich.

Ambiente hat nachgelassen (Betreiberwechsel) War schon besser. Nicht ganz warm das Essen, nur ein Knödel und zu wenig Soße dazu und das Fleisch etwas trocken. Geschmacklich OK . ... Abschließend noch etwas Durchfall.

Wir haben auf der Durchreise dort stop gemacht und zu Mittag gegessen. Freundliche, fixe Bedienung. Beilagensalat zu Käsespätzle war lecker. Käsespätzle selbst leider Luft nach oben. Lauwarm und trocken. Das Gericht Brotzeit sah leider aus wie aus übrig gebliebenen Frühstücksresten zusammen gestellt. Espresso war gut.

Deutsche Küche wie aus dem Bilderbuch, toll zubereitet. Dazu ein junger Mann als Bedingung, der richtig zack ist. Freundlich, zuvorkommend und schnell. Klasse.

Das Essen war super lecker, egal ob der Spinatknödel oder die Haxe, beides sehr zu empfehlen. Auch die Preise waren absolut fair. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Location ist sehr schön urig. Also insgesamt super. Dankeschön.

Gute Gaststätte mit ein wenig Verbesserungpotenzial. Das Essen war zwar gut, könnte aber etwas Würze vertragen. Die Kruste der Haxe war fade. Die anderen Speisen schmeckten auch nur durchschnittlich. Die Überraschungsplatte für 50 Euro war auf jeden Fall ihr Geld wert. Haben zu viert davon gegessen und alle sind satt geworden. Leider wird bei der größe alles sehr schnell kalt. Tipp: Wärmeplatte. Der Service war etwas langsam. Preislich liegt alles im Rahmen. Der Gastraum war etwas kühl, da alle Türen offen waren und noch nicht geheizt wurde. Eine Reservierung ist am Wochenende sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Essen ist gut, aber nicht so dass es mich vom Hocker reißt. Die Karte ist bayrisch übersichtlich mit wenigen Ausreisern, für Vegetarier eher nichts. Der Service lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig.

Heute kamen wir mit meiner Familie zum Abendessen hierher, mein Partner war bereits mit einem Freund hier und er sagte gute Dinge. Ich mag die bayerische Küche nicht besonders, aber wir sind auf Empfehlung meines Partners zusammengekommen. Ich bestellte Hühnchen-Paprikasch und mein Partner aß „Vadas-Art“. Mein kleiner Junge hat Pommes gegessen. Die Kellner waren nett und wir bekamen relativ schnell unser Essen, obwohl das Restaurant voll war. Ich habe auch das Essen meines Partners probiert und war vom Geschmack beeindruckt. Das Essen war sehr lecker und sah gut aus, ich kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Die Hähnchenkeulen haben mir nicht so gut geschmeckt und es war auch keine große Portion
